They must have gone crazy by the end, the food was very average and it was £7 for a beer

The spring rolls, veg parcels and Toa Hu Rad Prig were fine. The Toa Hu Pad Khing was disgusting, and tasted like watery salty fish.

Very friendly & attentive staff that brought out food quickly! A unique ambiance that captures British pub culture and Thai dining! Prices are fair! Unfortunately I did not like my dish (pad see ew), but my friends drunken noodles and panang curry were tasty!

Too vast menu. Very fast service as probably nothing or little cooked fresh. Very poor quality food with nasty tasting dumplings that had to be sent back. Sea bass was bland and looked reheated.. nothing looked particularly fresh. Will never go back there!

Food is so great here, the jungle curry is extremely hot but tasty. Can get really busy though, so it's worth booking a table. They even have real ale on tap!

Nice looking pub with a little thai twist , was made very welcome , staff friendly and helpful, fitted us on although we dod t book and was busy , wasnt rushed or anything , food was delicious, really tasty and very good value for money

The fact you get charged 2 quid to bring food to outside tables just cos you got a dog with you was weird so I went an collected our own plates from bar area. It's literally 5 extra steps. The food was ok but expensive for what we had. Shared some platters with my wife and they where much smaller than expected.

The staff were amazing! Unbelievably flexible and efficient. The food was amazing. They allowed us to use the party room for my mums 60th birthday and treated us like queens. Would highly recommend this place

Easily the best lamb Massaman curry I’ve ever had!

Beautiful flavours seems like the Thai food you would get in Thailand, not British style. They even asked us for spice preference and made it spicy. Service was flawless and spot on from start to finish.

Great food, friendly staff, good price. We had a two year old with us and they were super. They don't automatically add service charge to the bill which I also think is great form. Recommended

Boxing day family lunch. There were 10 of us. All meals and drinks were served in a timely manner. There were plenty of staff, but if they were working at full capacity, that may be a different story. We were very happy with the food, with plenty of dishes on the menu.

6 stars? I have been to 5-10 Thai restaurants in England since returning from 1 year in Thailand. This is 100% the best I have come across. The food is the most authentic here, packed full unique flavours. Not too busy on a Friday night so the very friendly staff showed us straight to our seats. My advice is to be adventurous with the menu, you won't be disappointed.

Nice staff, cozy venue. Outstanding lamb massaman curry, tom yum soup, pad si iew, and weeping tiger beef. Chicken satay okay - not enough sauce. Tried pineapple rice - surprisingly good!

One to go to once around the area. Gets quite busy during the weekends there is always some private party going :) Food is delicious and affordable, ai just wish the chef would think about someone who is eating their dish and won’t chop lemon grass into small pieces as it is not pleasant to keep removing it with each bite from your meal. In total I had to remove ~ 12 pieces. Rather stick it whole and remove after cooking simple as that. Last photo is to show what you will get together with yourRed Thai prawn curry as an example. Other than that food is well balanced, portions runs average and the parking might be an issue if you come on a weekend. Some refurbishment in general for this place would be good.

Delicious Thai food in the middle of the Epping forest. This marks my second visit, and my appreciation for both food and service remains undiminished . For starters, we savoured breaded prawns and veg and chicken gyoza. Our culinary journey continued with chicken red curry and prawns green curry as mains. The balance of spiciness was perfect without being overwhelmingly hot. I definitely recommend the place.

It was a wonderful experience on that day , my auntie birthday, and she love thai foods , I am looking authentic thai restaurants and it’s comes up this restaurant name , we went there and asked tables for four persons, one thai lady take us to the table and give us the menu, we choose the four main dishes for four persons , starter, main . side rice and pad Thai. Food quality:- 80% ( Need to use fresh vegetables ) Quantity :- 75%, ( The amount was small ) Service was very good 100% ( Great ) OVERALL GREAT IF THEY GIVE ATTENTION ON IT

The food is amazing, fresh and delicious! The staff are so warm and friendly! We love their seafood, curries and stir fries and noodles and soups and starters and everything on that menu! Absolutely love this place!

This is our local thai restaurant. The decor and staff are great, but the food has started to take a lazy flair for the past few years, with the dishes becoming less fragrant / worse over time. Wether that’s due to them or having access to other better thai restaurants is to be questioned; however what is undeniable is that the starter platter has turned into a pretty boring and generic frozen asian finger food affair that can be bettered by iceland at a fraction of the price. Avoid the staters and you’ll be fine… fine if you’re a local, but not worth travelling to for the food.

Firstly - the restaurant needs a deep clean. Many of the windows have cobwebs, dust and well look as if they haven’t been cleaned in a while. I ordered a Virgin Pina Colada and the while it tasted dreadful, the glass it was served in had certainly been dried with a dirty cloth. In fact all of the glasses on our table smelt the same way. The two ladies serving us were pleasant enough, but overall the quality of service was quite poor. I wouldn’t go again but at the same I’m not suggesting it’s somewhere not worth visiting.

This has to be one of the best authentic Thai restaurants in London. Great atmosphere, the staff is very helpful and friendly and the food is really amazing.

Always do take out. Phad Thai is lovely, especially the tofu, I don't enjoy vegan shenanigans but this tofu is lovely. Worth a visit.

Love this restaurant. The staff are very friendly, the service is smooth, and the food tastes so good! They also have vegan options available, including my favourite red curry. I’ve eaten in and ordered take away (collection only), which was ready in 10 minutes. They also allow dogs to dine with you, what more could you want?

We have been eating here off and on for years I have no complaints about the food but the service this evening was appalling, we like to have several starters but no main, couldn’t have made it plainer we didn’t want this all brought up together but yes they were they literally had us out in 40 mins will not be going back, the staff are rude with a smile on their faces!

First time trying this place and was not disappointed. As a vegan I do worry about eating in new places but they absolutely smashed the bean curd the flavour was unreal. Will be coming back.

Staff are nice and it has free parking. Unfortunately the food isn't good, it's very sugary and oily so I can't recommend it. The beer garden in the back is nice though but as came for food, have to only give 2*.

One of the best Thai restaurants around

Almost every week we come here to eat, it’s so nice the ambiance plus the coconut soup we always order is our favourite. I like how they cooked the food it’s clean and proper most esp. to seafoods. ❤️👌🏻 I really appreciate the staffs charming service as well.

Great choice of food, lovely atmosphere and a great service. All waiters are willing to help and always check to see if everything is okay with the food.

Our favourite Thai place. We have eaten in pre CoVid and it's a nice night out albeit a little cramped between tables but maybe CoVid has changed that. We always go for the takeaway option because it's just as good as the table meal but we think we get bigger portions. Enough for 2 meals per portion. Result! The food is fantastic, tasty and filling and we love it. The last meal we had was for 4 of us and included 9 dishes for under £80 and 3 of the dishes are in the freezer for next weekend 👍👍

Very underwhelmed by this restaurant. Starter platter for 2 cost about £17 and was not made fresh (bought frozen?) and just heated up. Mains didn't have the punch you expect with Thai food. Staff for some reason collected each empty dish separately from the table as and when we finished them. They also like to shout across the restaurant to each other killing the small amount of ambience.

Upon visiting this establishment last weekend, I ordered food which was standard. The staff wasn’t very helpful with ordering and the food was no more than an 6/10, I left after that and noticed someone had crashed into my car in the car park. After ringing 4 times during the week I kept getting fobbed off by staff and even when speaking to a manager they asked me to call back a few days later but when I called back the staff told me the manager is not even in today never heard back and when I tried chasing it again for the CCTV they are being very coy and not getting back to me. Probably a staff member or manager who hit my car hense why they’re not being helpful. Will now being going to the police as this establishment is yet to help me with CCTV footage!! don’t recommend coming here they just want your money and don’t even have a decent customer service.!!

The food is AMAZING! The garden beer is excellent with plenty of tables and a mini playground for kids which is great. I am giving 4* for service as there was no menu outside and my partner had to go inside to get a menu and bring it outside ( as I was with the pram ) and go back inside to order. There are stairs you need to take to go to the garden so once there did not want to go back up and down with the pram.

Came for dinner and all the food was amazing, piping hot and delicious. Beer ice cold. Definitely recommend.

Reasonably priced, delicious food, and generous portions! Restaurant is in a country pub style building and area with traditional Thai decorations. Service was prompt and very friendly, they seemed to know the menu (which is very large) incredibly well. Couldn’t fault it, just a little hard to park when it’s very busy as parking is limited so there is a chance you may have to temporarily block someone in. As a restaurant experience - five stars at least! Will be coming back here again.

This was by far one of the worst thia meals I have ever had. The place looks shabby from outside and inside is depressing. As we walked in there were two people by hand in the bar area, transferring prawn crackers from two large black bins into plastic bags obviously for takeaways. One was eating prawn crackers as he was working. Once sat down I ordered a red thia chicken curry which was really thin and watery and lacked taste. The whole experience waa a let down. Sorry but I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing selection of wonderful Thai food, at very good prices. Service is excellent. Although there was 15 of us, everything was served to everyone at the same time, incredible effort by all involved at the restaurant. Very highly recommended - can’t wait to go back again.

Recently found this place and I am hooked. Competitively priced and waiting service is excellent. Food is very good indeed. Particularly like their beef masaman, which if you are having starters, is enough to share. Green curry and stir fries are other hits. Decor is a little dated but delivery service is fast and efficient. Highly recommend it.

Great little Thai restaurant in a pub in a forest

I've visited this place many times, and I never get disappointed along with my family. The food is always fresh and tasty.. The only draw back that the portions did shrinked a bit

:( Will NOT be going back again..After 7 years of loyal patronage, driving 40 minutes from Billericay , we were servery disappointed in the food On Sunday 22nd April! The prices have greatly increased, but WHY decrease the portion sizes too??The meals are served overloaded with decorative veg and flowers,to hide how little is now on your plate...We ordered 3 mains and 2 starters,and still let hungry.. Also The Drunken Noodles with prawns i always get,were very disappointing,the prawns usually sweet and jucy,had a muddy musty taste,i suspect they have been substituted with the Fresh Water cheaper option.. So sad to write this review..This restaurant has been a lovely exotic place for us to visit on many Sundays...Alas,No MORE.... :(

Very expensive. kids portions are more expensive than adults. Food is cold and the Orange Juice was undrinkable and the apple Juice tasted like tap water. This was restaraunt was much better before the pandemic. 3 kids meals and 3 adult meals together costed 80 pounds!

Dined in at the restaurant ordered a beef mossiman which was inedible,the beef was not cooked properly and tried to chew it,told them But they were Not interested.

Really pleased with our spontaneous visit this place looks like a traditional pub from the outside BUT once you walk in you soon see the Thai theme A fantastic traditional bar with a great variety of all sorts of drinks. The food menu is great with plenty of Thai variety. We ordered 2 starters and mains. All the dishes tasted wonderful. We later had a walk in the beer garden this is laid out so well with plenty of seating with ample covered seats. Also nice tables with heat lamps. One small observation was that the table we sat on could be a little cleaner But this was minor

Went to this restaurant this evening and complained my curry tasted as if it had some chemical in it. The waitress said she'd worked there for twenty years and nobody had ever complained about this dish before. I ordered something else but overall our experience of the food was underwhelming to say the least and customer service was not good. We will not be returning.

Great places situated in Epping forest, the staff were welcoming and the food was great. It wasn't too loud either, with several families enjoying their night out. Would recommend, especially the set menu's.

Service is aweful and the food is even worse! Don’t order any of the sandwiches they barely come with a sliver of meat and are cold. Grilled Salmon is tasteless. And waited 55 Minutes for it to top it off

Lovely atmosphere and staff and the food is something else, probably up there with the best food I've ever eaten. Visited 3 times, since discovering this gem a few months back and will be returning again soon.

We have only had a delivery from here (never eaten in) food has always been good, we tend to have green Thai curry (I have a very mild one) which is still spicy but fine for me, my husband has the normal one and he loves it ( but goes a little red in the face when eating it!) The out side looks lovely with the lights however the plastic screens with have torn in the weather make it look run down, so needs some TLC on the outside in our opinion
