Excellent value, imaginative and tasty menu with delightful young staff. We had pork escalope as our main followed by apple crumble. 3 course meal for under a tenner each..

It’s been a while since I’ve dined here. It did not disappoint. Good menu choice. Food presented beautifully and served to the table by attentive staff. Great value for money and the students aim to please.

A really delicious lunch! The restaurant room itself is functional - a large room inside the college, but it's a nice place. The food was genuinely delicious and we'll definitely be heading back to try out the different dishes.

A group of twelve of us went for a lunch time meal here. The service was really great and the food was excellent. There are two different menus during the week which is something to look out for. There is also a well priced fully licensed bar.

Excellent food and the staff were great. What a pleasant surprise to have such great service. Better than many restaurants I have attended in the past!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, the food was of an extremely good standard and such value for money; 3 courses (all delicious, with great presentation) for £6.50!!! I was surprised at the atmosphere and layout., all of which were above expectations. Service was friendly and very well managed, considering we were a table of 12. Really impressed and would absolutely recommend a visit!

Visited the restaurant with my work department and was not disappointed, the food was of a very high standard with generous portions. The staff (students) were very friendly, polite and went out of their way to ensure all requests were met.

Really good vegan meal (parsnip & apple soup, roast veg & new potatoes, poached pear & mango sauce). Very well presented, great flavours and good portion sizes. The staff were all friendly, professional and attentive.

I have eaten lunch there twice this week, both times with friends. The menu was different the two times but both days we were offered a choice of 3 options for starter, main course and dessert. This includes a vegetarian option. The service is friendly and well paced. the food is well prepared and beautifully presented. Because it is a training restaurant there may be small hiccups but this has never spoilt our enjoyment of good food in a convivial atmosphere. The prices are very good. Currently there is a special offer of 3 courses for £6.50 but the normal price is perhaps a pound or so more. A full bar is offered at good prices. Parking costs a £1 in the college or is free next door in the leisure centre.

As an industry professional I was asked to assess the industry standards at Swindon College's The Restaurant this evening for their Valentine's evening service. The students pulled out all the stops to impress their guests for a night of Valentine's romance and delicious food- what a fantastic evening! Such value for money and great opportunity to support these upcoming talents. A special mention for Liam who looked after my table brilliantly- very polite, frienly and processional. And the risotto was just delicious!

What a find! Great food at an even greater price. Served by Dominic in his 2nd year at college. A great place for students to gain experience whilst customers enjoyed a well cooked, fabulously presented meal

I attended today for lunch and can not fault the food or service that I received. The waiter was attentive and knowledgable and the food was delicious and very well presented! I would recommend the restaurant to anyone and will certainly be attending again very soon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Visited with the family. Food was pretty good. Student waiting staff were great. They tried hard and the young lad we had was really chatty and obliging. An excellent enterprise. Book early as it is very popular - and rightly so!

Another great lunch at Swindon College Training Restaurant last week. The food was delicious and beautifully presented on nice crockery. The students serve you politely with a smile - all overseen well by their friendly lecturer. We come here often, and always enjoy the experience.

Been here 3 times this year, although it's the same menu every time, it has improved each time . Good value only £14.50 for 3 course and coffee, look forward to booking for the new term in Oct. They also do themed nights as well on Thursdays .

We went as a group of 8 to a Cocktails theme evening at the college Restaurant. My wife had been there before to a couple of the theme evenings.

We we're lucky enough to find this restaurant 5 years ago. Every single time (each Thursday) we go to this place with great joy.

OK, let's get the price out of the way first: £7.50 for 3 courses. Inexpensive doesn't cover it but CHEAP it is not; far from it.from the warm welcome to your cafetière of coffee at the end of your meal you will find nothing about which to complain, especially if Leo is your waiter. Leo is a very affable young man, friendly without being over-familiar, knowledgeable yet having the sense to check any information of which he is not fully aware and eager to please and to serve without being servile. A 'true' waiter n the making. Now to the food: I will jot ramble on (and on) about the quality because I do not wish to bore anyone to death; suffice to say that everything which my wife and I had to eat was as good as a multi-starred restaurant. I could eulogise about each item that we had but will just mention the bread and butter pudding (a particular favourite of mine) which was a different receipt to any with which I am familiar and although much lighter in texture than one would expect, lacked nothing in flavour; scrumptious is not word in common parlance these days yet fits the. Narrative perfectly. Unfortunately, I did not make a note of the chef's name (old men and short-term memory are not a powerful combination) but Leo will know who it was because I had told him that I hoped the chef had brought his'A' game that day so, if the chef does get to hear of this I would like to offer him a notional gold star. I cannot rate ambience and atmosphere highly because this is a college restaurant and not some swanky place in town so, perhaps not ideally suited to celebratory meals but, that aside this is certainly a 'fit-for-purpose' eatery. I commend it to one and all

This is a training restaurant for students who are studying a catering course at Swindon College. For, just a few pounds one can enjoy a well-presented, two or three course meal served with competence and efficiency. The menu is simple, but interesting and includes a vegetarian option. The food was delicious. I didn't have a starter, but my friends enjoyed a selection of salads. My main course was a vegetarian risotto, which was delicious, but the, " piece de resistance," as far as I was concerned was dessert--a chocolate tart served with a white chocolate sauce--divine!
