Absolutely awful reception. Cold atmosphere. No one behind the bar. Shown to our table that wasn’t even laid despite booking. Not at all interested in serving us so we walked out. Trying to support local businesses but won’t be going there again. Terrible

We have been to the Red Hart for a few Sunday lunches now and always greeted with a warm welcome. Lovely friendly staff, good menu with a wide choice of freshly cooked food and plentiful. Great food at a great price, well worth a visit.

4.5 of us called in for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime and were warmly greeted by the landlord Each of us had something different off the menu, including the butterfly chicken burger, the Hart beef burger, Lasagne, fish & chips and a kids meal of chicken goujons. All the food arrived at the same time, hot and plenty of it! Each dish was good quality, fresh & tasty and served by a friendly polite chap. There was a good range of drinks available and these too were served perfectly! In summary, good value for money with something for everyone on the menu, all in a clean, comfortable and presentable environment. Would definitely recommend calling in for a beer and bite to eat. We’ll be back to sample more of the menu! Proper pub food done right.

Popped into a proper pub after a walk for a proper well kept well pulled pint. Lucky enough to meet the landlord. Few of these gems left. Do yourself a favour and stop for a brew. Thank you .

Visiting the area with hubs and brother. Been many times but never been to The Red Hart. Decided to opt for the Indian menu and shared various dishes. All excellent and reasonably priced. Wanted to support the Red Hart on bringing Indian Takeaway to the area. But was disappointed with the quality of the food supplied especially as was being cooked and supplied by an Indian establishment. Had I been in the restaurant it would have been returned to the chef. Will not be re-ordering sorry

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE HAVE BEEN TO THIS PUB, I HAVE GOT TO SAY THE STEAK WAS PERFECT, EXCELLENT FOOD AND FRIENDLY STAFF, WILL BE BACK, FANTASTIC PUB

Don’t waste your time. We both had the roast beef it looked and tasted like processed meat. Soggy vegetables, the only thing that was lovely were the roast potatoes. The menu was very limited.

The best breakfast we have had in a very long time, good quality service and price. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a great start to their day. Soon to return for a repeat experience.

Great Sunday Lunch, nicely cooked meat and veg, good portions and hot. Apple Crumble and Treacle pudding with custard for sweet very nice. Lovely food at a good price. Staff are really friendly and welcoming with nice homely atmosphere. It was that good we booked for lunch next Thursday and Sunday.

We’ve eaten here several times and every time it just gets better. Steak night on Monday which was superb. Shame it’s not very busy.

We called in by chance for lunch at this charming pub. We were a party of four, two adults and two young children. The staff were so kind and accommodating, especially with the little ones. The food was served very promptly and was exactly what we needed - good sandwiches for the adults and the chosen chicken nuggets, peas and fries for the little ones. Everything was well-presented. The surroundings were pleasant and the owners clearly take good care of their attractive pub. What stood out most was the quality of service we received on a very hot and tiring day.

So welcoming and friendly! Came with a friend with a disability and the staff could not have been better. Felt really welcome. Food was fab and its a great place generally. Thank you

Visited here on the first night of our holiday as it was only 5mins walk from our holiday cottage. Nice welcome on arrival. The lady serving seemed quite nervous, but we would find out they had only just taken over the place. The restaurant was a bit lacking on atmosphere when we arrived as there was no-one else there and there was no music playing. This soon changed as the place filled up though. Food here was wonderful. We had a sharer platter to start with spicy chicken pieces, breaded chicken bites, cheesy bread, onion rings, breaded mushrooms along with 3 lovely dips. For my main I had the chilli which just needed a tad more salt to make it delicious. Hubby had the steak which was beautifully cooked. All the food was very filling and good value for money. Good range of ciders too. All in all a lovely pub restaurant.

So pleased that at last we visited this lovely pub. We've driven past so many times on the way to Malvern and today we made a point of visiting for lunch. A very friendly, family run pub, serving full English breakfast / Tea and coffee from 9am so ideal for walking groups to gather for a coffee prior to walk and a superb lunch/brunch afterwards. A lovely old building which has been trading as a pub since 17th Century! Delicious, piping hot food chosen from the specials board and lunch menu arrived very quickly and went down a treat. I'll most certainly be visiting again very soon.

We were really looking forward to a home made traditional Sunday roast. Unfortunately we did not get that. We had a bit of a wait which was fine, then we were told no Yorkshire puddings left so we were OK with that. When the food came, it was tinned carrots, runner beans, frozen cauliflower, the roast potatoes were lovely and then there was the beef. I've never had such chewy beef in my life to the point I didn't eat it and what I did chew ended up in my napkin. The waitress asked if the food was OK, I said the beef was really chewy, had no feedback from that. Its a lovely pub but as far as food will not be returning for any.

Pleasing stop off for lunch as we traveled home from our holiday. Food arrived quickly, within half an hour and was fresh using quality ingredients. They have converted part of the car park to an outdoor seating area which is pretty with lots of plants and flowers. I wouldn't hesitate to return if in the area again.

Tried this pub out with friends. Wouldn’t rush back. It’s a charming pub but the food wasn’t anything exciting and the portions were not generous. The service was good but it was very quiet so you’d expect that.

What can I say we have been waiting for our village pub back and we have it! There is no point in comparing it with previous owners as they are new and doing their own thing.Its nice to be welcomed by happy family orientated owners who want to give their all.Louise and Paul are doing a fantastic job and the Red Hart is a warm and welcoming pub with good home cooked food, and a friendly fun atmosphere.Thanks guys for doing a great job.

Local to the area so wanted to try out The Red Hart since under new management. Unfortunately pretty disappointing. The Sunday roast seemed like a microwaved meal, which lacked flavour and anything special. The service was good and it was reasonably priced. However, if you are expecting the Sunday roasts that Darren and Gabbi used to make then you will be very disappointed.

We thought we try it out whilst step daughter was down the road at her gymnastics session. Came with husband and two boys. My husband and I both ordered sirloin steaks, one son mac and cheese from kids menu and the other sausage and mash. I asked for my steak rare. We waited about 45 minutes for food to arrive and when it did steak was medium well done and really chewy. Peas completely overcooked (almost hard). One son enjoyed his sausages but the mac and cheese looked as if it were tinned. Mentioned my steak and waitress offered to take it back however we didn’t have time as had to collect step daughter. Didn’t eat steak. Was shocked when this was put on bill at the end!

I love what they've done with this pub since the last manager.Tables set out better and two roaring fires to welcome you in.Sunday lunch was lovely, we had roast pork and roast beef with roasted carrots and parsnips, real roast potatoes and green veg with a yorkshire pudding and gravy. A couple of pints. Quick and polite service by our waitress. Prices very reasonable indeed.To follow we shared the black forest gateau which was gorgeous with ice cream.What can I say its a world away from what it used to be a few short months ago.Its amazing what a bit of redecoration does to brighten a place up.Even the outside area is much better as they have blocked off part of the front carpark to enable drinkers to sit out, so this will be lovely in the summer months.Atmosphere is great and the couple who run it are so nice, little things like throwing an extra log on the fire makes all the difference.Keep up the good work guys your'e doing great, I hope you grow from strength to strength.I definitely recommend this place and will be a frequent visitor in the coming months.

I was passing through on business when I spotted this lovely looking country pub. On my entrance to I was greeted by a lovely couple who have recently taken on the place. I first sampled a couple of beers which I could not fault. I then ordered some food. It arrived swiftly and was delicious. Freshly cooked and amazing quality. I will 100% be back and will be recommending to all.

Sunday Lunch is very good. Nicely cooked meat's and veg and a good portion. Home made apple crumble and custurd ( lovely ). The staff are polite and friendly and there is a nice atmosphere through out. We will definitely be returning for more of the same.

I came here with my son and partner (satruday). We were made to feel very welcome from start to finish. The service was brillaint. Food was lovely and really well priced. We will be back again. Thank you very much for a lovely lunch.

Visited this evening, desperately want to give a good review as the couple were lovely and so welcoming. The food was average but I am sure will improve. Very welcoming and such a cute baby good luck to you both.

Very disappointing visit on a Tuesday night. I was told no meals are served on a Monday or Tuesday, apparently it says so on a sign outside. However I was unable to connect with their website so unless you ring before hand, you cannot obtain any information on food serving times. If ringing, use the previous number as the number that was put on flyers is the wrong number.

We were staying locally so thought we would book this pub as it is newly opened, boy we were not disappointed.

I stopped for lunch at this character pub and chose the sea bass, which was perfectly cooked with crispy skin in a really tasty cream sauce with prawns, potatoes and green beans. I would have expected to pay significantly more than £12 for the quality plate of food I received. Unbeatable value. Will visit again. Lovely pub run by very polite and helpful new management

We were so thrilled to learn that our local was reopening under new management and couldn’t wait to give it a go.

For once has some time with the Mrs and had a chance to go out for Sunday Lunch. We live one village away and used the red hart a while back when they had a cracking chef. It’s changed hands since and reviews on Tripadvisor have been hit and miss. Recently changed hands again and we visited just one week in. Cracking pint of Boon Doggle, followed by a superb lunch. The Goats cheese salad a very tasty, balanced starter. As it was Sunday I had the Turkey and my wife the Pork - both tremendous!

Me and my husband came here for dinner last night, never normally leave reviews but this place is fantastic. The food was outstanding, great quality and big portions, lovely traditional pub food. Service was great as well, friendly and helpful with recommendations on the food choices. Paul and Louise are fantastic hosts, we are coming back to work our way through the menu !

Called in at lunchtime on way to Warwick from South Wales, didn't know anything about the pub but were greeted with a warm welcome from the landlady , we were only looking for a light lunch so chose a sandwich with salad and chips, very good portion and great chips and very good value for money, the landlord was very friendly and was interested where we were from and where we were going. If we lived nearby we would make this our local, we will visit again !

Stopped here because the pub looked so pretty. We checked the menu and decided we would take a chance. So glad we did, the landlady and landlord were really friendly, the food was lovely, and very reasonable, they even gave chocolate mint when we paid the bill which was a lovely touch. Wonderful welcome at the Red Hart this afternoon .... great to see it open again, lovely people, looking forward to next visit.

After recently hearing a change of landlord we decided to give this pub a go. We went here yesterday evening for food, as soon as we walked in the friendly service was immediate. It was also dog friendly on the one side of the restaurant which is also ideal as I have a puppy I feel obliged to leave at home to be able to enjoy a meal. From the service behind the bar to the waitress service was impeccable and it was clear that they couldn’t do enough for you. A good choice on the menu for starters, main courses, puddings and sides. To top it off there was a specials board which also was very nice to be able to go and have a look at. We had a steak each and cooked to our liking perfectly, the food and sides that came with this was nothing short of gorgeous. A lovely warming pub, with friendly staff and a lovely range of beers, ciders and wines.

Oh at last , what lovely lovely people, 2nd night 21st September, service spot on, food portions enormous, quality of food amazing, fresh, hot, tasty, goats cheese starter simply divine, huge tenders livers and bacon, and the apple tarton tender sweet and delicious, we only popped in for a try but had to have 3 courses. Our highly critical son said simply best gammon everyday. Pls support this lovely couple as we feel great things for the future

Well where do I start we ordered gins no ice or lemon or anything then there card machine didn’t work had to wait for connection 45 mins and still no connection this is 5th time it has happened not good if you have no cash

Met my Daughter from Cambridge for dog swop when M5 was closed yesterday. Friendly doggie pub. Excellent food and lovely staff. Worth diverting off the motorway in future.

We dropped in as a large group of 7 with our two dogs after spending an enjoyable morning in Worcester woods.

Stopped for a quick drink lovely,friendly staff clean and obviously well run , unfortunately we didn’t dine but will definitely return to try out the food

We called in "on spec" for a late lunchtime sandwich and drink on a business trip. We were given a friendly welcome and good service. We had simply some sandwiches, beer and a soft drink followed by coffee sitting by the log fire. Excellent and convenient. This place combines a modern clean feel with what is obviously an old building. The restaurant looks as though it is worth a visit too.

We booked a family meal at this pub because on previous visits we enjoyed the food so much. Clearly this place had taken a massive dive!

Waitress was lovely, but food poor. Had lasagna with chips. Lasagna dry, & chips were “cook from frozen” oven chips. Accompanying salad consisted of a bit of iceberg lettuce, tasteless slice of tomato & some cucumber. The Red Hart really needs to bring its food into the 21st Century - there’s a lot of competition out there!

Another boiling hot day and we pulled in for lunch on our way to Morton Hall gardens. Save for a lone drinker the pub was empty - can't understand why! It's a lovely pub/restaurant with a modern feel in the dining rooms and a with a varied lunch menu with specials.

Visited the Red Hart after a walk around the nearby countryside, we were greeted by friendly staff who were very attentive both with our drinks and our food.

We went on a Wednesday night had the hamburger special two for 14 pounds. Its a pub but considering that it was excellent. The fries and Cole slaw were very good. I would certainly.go back to try there other main courses. We also had a salad and squid yummy.

Me and the mrs had eaten in the pub before under last ownership so we thought let’s give it a try we’ll not really a lager drinker but the Amstel was great on very warm day so I had the Sunday roast beef and mrs had the hake ...beef was great proper English mustard and horseradish roast potatoes were good bit more cheese on the cauliflower sauce ...the hake I’m told by the mrs who is abit of a foodie was great overall very staff took their time never rushed

Been here a few times since the new owners took over. Food is always good (especially like the faggots - even if the portion is a little challenging !). Service is good and staff very friendly. One minor point - the Marstons EPA wasn't as fresh as it could have been (having had a pint of said ale the previous day elsewhere.) Must return soon to check it out again !

At last a team to keep the Red Hart open again, the quick bite to eat tonight was very nice, we both had chilli and rice and our friends both had fish and chips. It was BOGOF on pub classics menu so even better!! We will definitely be going back for a more substantial meal soon. The staff were very attentive and friendly

Under new management and I have found the Pub to be spotless and fresh - excellent friendly family run service with good choice of beers and lagers - I would suggest some Italian wine though but the House wines are great with always a wine of the week - Well worth a visit xo2

This pub is gorgeous! The staff were very kind and friendly. It has a cosy country atmosphere especially with the open fire! The food was outstanding for pub food! We are going back very soon! They are also really dog friendly which is a bonus!...

Family meal for 10 Boxing Day fabulous,superb food complemented by great service lovely food pleased even the The teenagers.

Eaten her three times, each time good. Would recommend the steak and stilton pie, a proper pie. Also the Thai Curry and Burger very good. Staff friendly and excellent service.

Ate here with 4 girlfriends. All enjoyed convivial atmosphere, great food and service. Scallops and mussels faultless- thank you to Stuart and team.

We have put the Red Hart on our favourite list of places to eat. Lovely specials and the chef can adapt the menu if you have any special requests.Going back next week.

Dropped in on Sunday 3rd Dec and decided to eat. The pub has been decorated throughout and it certainly looks fresher and brighter. My wife and I decided to have the dick starter which was rich and flavoursome as duck should be. Followed this by the lamb roast and there was plenty of meat and the veg was nice and fresh and not cooked to a mush. Good service, nice atmosphere and a big improvement on the pubs decor.Recommend

Visited the Red Hart today with friends to try out the Sunday lunch. Fabulous menu and selection to suit everyone. We all decided to opt for the Sunday roast which was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our food with a nice bottle of rioja sat by a cosy log fire. Lunch was followed up with delectable desserts. The service was excellent, friendly and efficient. We will tell all of our friends and return very soon. Thank you all very much.

Had a meal here with a party of four adults and a 10 month toddler. The roomy layout of the restaurant made handling and feeding a young baby a lot less stressful than other pubs of this kind. The staff were first class and they made us feel very welcome. Last but not least, the food was excellent quality, good value for money, well presented and very tasty. There were no leftovers. A big thank you to the fantastic staff and talented chef - we will be returning.

We enjoyed an excellent meal, and the service was First Class. The dinner menu was well thought out and provided some interesting choices. The new Management Team are making a special effort to at last provide a quality place to eat in this part of Worcestershire, and all at a very reasonable price.

Best tasted in 10'years plus.Pub was busy and everyone looked happy and content.It's good too see an intensive effort has been made in a proper revamp and prices excellent.Well done all , your regulars are on their way back and lots of new people too.See you again very soon

Just had a delightful Sunday lunch at the Red Hart Kington. This has recently changed owners and we are pleased to report that the food quality is very good, the service is friendly and the whole place has undergone a make-over. Well worth a try !

Having visited the Red Hart over many years I was pleased to say the first night with Stu and his team was fabulous. The decor is very light and has a lovely feel to it. Fires were lit and very cosy . Drinks flowed well and I particularly liked the guitar player . Looking forward to sampling the food next weekend.Well done team
