Came for a birthday meal tonight and was served by the lovely Lara. She made sure we had everything we needed and we felt she genuinely wanted to help. Highly recommended

Had a nice meal this evening . Staff were really helpful . Harry who served us was very attentive and friendly. He tended to our requests and was very polite. Thank you Harry. Great customer service delivered by the manager as there was a big problem with the tills this evening .

Went out for dinner with my friends and was served by Felix! He was such a lovely young man who couldn’t do enough for us. Also the manager Callum was super attentive, showed us straight to our table with a smile. Will definitely be back !

From the moment we arrived, she made us feel incredibly welcome with her warm and friendly demeanor. Louise went above and beyond to ensure our experience was enjoyable. She was attentive without being overbearing, quick to answer any questions about the menu, and even offered great recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. Her professionalism and cheerful attitude truly stood out, making the meal even more special. It’s clear that she takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about her customers. Other staff members were great also, with keeping the salad bar stocked, and promptly bringing dishes out to our tables in a very timely manor. Thank you, Louise, for making our visit so memorable! We’ll definitely be back and will look forward to seeing you again.

Chicken over cooked and peas like bullets

We were very disappointed with both the level of service and the food. We noted that other customers, those who were seated after us, received their meals long before we got ours. We needed to prompt our server for our food. Our burgers, tho hot, were too dry to eat. Because of the delay in 1st delivery and our schedule, there was no opportunity to reorder.

We had a breakfast on Saturday 4th January, it was excellent, only due to no chef available to cook breakfast in the Premier Inn next door where we had pre booked our breakfasts for 3 mornings,the Harvester had very good portions of everything, the staff were very obliging and tentertive,will never pre book breakfast again with a Harvester next door.

Good hot food, fast friendly service

I haven't been there for a few years, the chap at front of house was miserable the waitresses were happy. I had the 3 chicken combo the chicken breast was hard but everything else was good, I would go back as the menu was offering something for everyone, I'd maybe try another branch just out of interest ... overall without a voucher cost was 75 for a family of 4 without afters and refillable soft drinks

We met up for Christmas we had booked, when we arrived the restaurant was nearly empty, we were shown to our table which hadn't been cleaned properly, the young lady took our order for drinks and food at the same time even though some were still looking at the menu, we went to the salad bar which was nearly empty, when the food arrived it was on very hot plates not good for the young children and my order was wrong only to get the young lady telling me I was wrong until I asked to see my order on her pad, overall not good.

Megan, our waitress was very helpful, friendly and attentive.

Went in for a "cooked breakfast" well, when the full English comes out in less than ten minutes, you know it's not freshly cooked and has been pre cooked and warmed up, also bring your own cutlery if I was you.

I came in for some dinner and drinks in the bar. Macey at the front desk was accommodating and gave us the information we needed before showing me where we could sit for our meal. Tom on the bar was also very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience, I will be coming back in the future.

Server Megan was fabulous, i had the chicken bacon waffle which was delicious loaded barbacoa fries were so good and the new cornbread was unbelievable. Clean and tidy around the restaurant and the salad cart was filled wonderfully. Thanks

I was staying at the Premier Inn next to the Harvester. Went in there at 22:10 for a drink and was told they weren't serving alcohol as they were so quiet they would be closing soon. They are supposed to be a pub not only a restaurant, couldn't believe it.

We had our Christmas work do here last Friday and everything run smoothly and they catered for 27 people with no issue and also gave us our own area

Had to drop a star as we were shown to a table which had a vent above which was covered with dust and blowing cold air. We were moved to another table as at the first table it was so cold. Had to ask for cutlery when we returned from the salad cart. Food was great! Service was good.

Food was ok (chicken was nice, jacket potato was more like a overcooked cauliflower), but the server Phill was great. Very attentive and friendly; he was really making sure all guests were taken care of.

Took my son here for his birthday meal. He specifically chose Harvester as he's always liked it. I have to say, this trip was incredibly disappointing. The food quality has gone downhill quickly. For example, the triple chicken stack I always have was completely different this time. There was hardly any chicken, and the plate was barely full. The prices are insane for the amount of food you get and the quality of it. My daughter had the vegan burger which said it came with burger sauce and salad. However, she was missing both those things. My sons gammon was probably the only decent meal out of the 3. Not sure what's happened, but it's not somewhere I will be visiting again. Shame as we always enjoyed it. Thankfully, the waiters were extremely friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough to ensure we had everything we needed.

Altho' food was not cheap, it was plentiful & we enjoyed our meal. I travelled from Lincolnshire 2 meet with my 2 friends & we decided 2 give this establishment a try - it was well worth it! The best bit was the service; nothing was 2 much trouble 4 Harry. He had a wonderful sense of humour & didn't keep bothering us (we stayed 4 a long time as we had a lot of catching up 2 do); we were made 2 feel very welcome. I ordered a chargrilled chicken wrap. The first one was Tikka, the second one was cold and the third was dry Needless t say I didn't pay for it. Not a good Birthday Lunch!

VISIT DATE: SUN 13/10/2024 VISIT TIME: 13:30 - 15:00 Went for a family meal and was pleased that the portions at this location were a decent size, unlike another branch I'd been to. Restaurant was nicely presented and fairly clean and tidy, salad bar was well stocked and food was well presented. Staff were also friendly and polite.

Phill was a star again, we love him, he needs a night off to join us ladies for a ladies night out. P.s don’t forget Christmas Day off

Pearl gave our group a brilliant service she was patient and attentive! The downside with this place is lack of cleanliness in the toilets and around the salad bar. The food was good though.

Visit was same as always. Still very cold , had to leave the coats on, one woman had coat over her legs! Food was hot however. Place is ok but do not expect a lot and not value for money without offers!

Asked for order to be delivered @ 17.25. At 17.40 phoned restaurant to be told it had only just been collected!! Finally arrived @ 18.05. Restaurant might be good but courier service definitely wasn't - food luke warm

Not bad! Server was friendly but disappeared after bringing our meals, and was replaced by another without explanation. Salad bar was out of lettuce and peppers but other items tasted nice. There were some interesting menu items that looked fun to try; my husband loved the BBQ chicken stack and we both enjoyed the hot honey cornbread. My chicken and jacket potato were nice, but no butter on potato or veg - just dry, plain peas and broccoli other than gravy. To be fair, I think the restaurant was quite busy whilst also being understaffed. I wouldn't rush back, but it was ok.

Good was ok. Service was good. Floor was disgusting around the table we were eating at. We ate at 1730 and there were still food condiments/teabags/spoons on the floor from breakfast. Not the sort of thing I was my son to put in his mouth. Very dirty.

We popped in for a bit of lunch. The food was so nice and the price is reasonable. Plus they take blue light card. Our waitress Steph was very attentive & checked in with us throughout the meal to make sure our meal was great 👍

Lovely in home dining experiance

I visited yesterday with my mum and best friend. Originally was super happy with the service as they fit us in as a table of 3 without booking and obviously Saturday nights can be quite busy. However, when our food arrived it looked bland and basic. My ‘bbq burger’ has no bbq sauce in, one tiny lettuce leaf and one piece of tomato. It was also freezing cold and so was the mash. Upon eating our food my mums food was also cold and the chicken was raw in the middle, the waitress told us she would speak to the kitchen and when returning she told us “the kitchen said this is just a veiny bit of chicken it’s not raw”. No apologies were offered and we were basically told ‘oh well’. As of this morning, I have thrown up multiple times and I feel quite poorly and my mum is not in the best of ways either. Atleast one dinner out of 3 was to an ok standard. Won’t be returning.

Steph was very helpful and gave great customer service, we had some awkwardrequests but was able to accommodatewhat we wanted.

Food was fab, drinks are well priced and great atmosphere. Eleni our waitress was so lovely too, smiley and happy to help even when we were being really fussy!! Great service is rare to find these days!

Double chicken burger was left, very well overdone. Service was poor. As an example, we were still eating our starters when the mains turned up. Then, didn't bother to remove the old dishes. Never thought to ask if all was OK! Disappointed 😞

Before I start my moan about this place I'll say I understand that food prices have rocketed over the last few months.. But does that mean the quality and quantity of food has to suffer.. Well at Harvester yes it does!!! All prices have gone up but the portion sizes have gone down. For £18.00 I ordered the original combo, which is as described a quarter portion of chicken and half a rack of ribs with chips. I got the chips with 1 drumstick and 4 ribs. I'd love to see the size of these chickens if that was a quarter portion, and half a rack of ribs, 4 ribs it was a joke!! My daughters full rack of ribs were fatty and greasy, so not the normal quality you would expect from a Harvester and they were £20.00. Harvester for me has always been honest food at reasonable prices but that quite simply is not the case anymore. If I have noticed then I'm sure other people will begin to notice and then they may feel the same way I do, and that is I shall never eat at a Harvester again. And good luck to anyone who does!!

We came for our sons 4th birthday meal with the family. It was very busy but we got to our table pretty quick after a little get together at the bar. There was 9 of us; all varied ages but we all were very happy with our orders and the service. Unfortunately as it was busy some of the staples had run out from the much loved salad bar. The staff were very helpful in looking after the cake and presenting it to our table. Our 4 year old loved his birthday meal! Thank you to Lara our server and chef Emma. Food was amazing and the atmosphere was great!
