Visit was same as always. Still very cold , had to leave the coats on, one woman had coat over her legs! Food was hot however. Place is ok but do not expect a lot and not value for money without offers!

Pearl gave our group a brilliant service she was patient and attentive! The downside with this place is lack of cleanliness in the toilets and around the salad bar. The food was good though.

Had a lovely catch up with friends, and was served by Harry who was really lovely and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble and he was really patient with us x The food was delicious and perfectly cooked x

Just got served by Harry. The guy rocks, definitely made the visit worth it. Ps, the treacle and custard was good.

Food was pleasant and filling, salad bar was fresh and enjoyable. Had great service from Tiff who was patient and prepared to deal with a large family.

Not bad! Server was friendly but disappeared after bringing our meals, and was replaced by another without explanation. Salad bar was out of lettuce and peppers but other items tasted nice. There were some interesting menu items that looked fun to try; my husband loved the BBQ chicken stack and we both enjoyed the hot honey cornbread. My chicken and jacket potato were nice, but no butter on potato or veg - just dry, plain peas and broccoli other than gravy. To be fair, I think the restaurant was quite busy whilst also being understaffed. I wouldn't rush back, but it was ok.

Good was ok. Service was good. Floor was disgusting around the table we were eating at. We ate at 1730 and there were still food condiments/teabags/spoons on the floor from breakfast. Not the sort of thing I was my son to put in his mouth. Very dirty.

We popped in for a bit of lunch. The food was so nice and the price is reasonable. Plus they take blue light card. Our waitress Steph was very attentive & checked in with us throughout the meal to make sure our meal was great 👍

I visited yesterday with my mum and best friend. Originally was super happy with the service as they fit us in as a table of 3 without booking and obviously Saturday nights can be quite busy. However, when our food arrived it looked bland and basic. My ‘bbq burger’ has no bbq sauce in, one tiny lettuce leaf and one piece of tomato. It was also freezing cold and so was the mash. Upon eating our food my mums food was also cold and the chicken was raw in the middle, the waitress told us she would speak to the kitchen and when returning she told us “the kitchen said this is just a veiny bit of chicken it’s not raw”. No apologies were offered and we were basically told ‘oh well’. As of this morning, I have thrown up multiple times and I feel quite poorly and my mum is not in the best of ways either. Atleast one dinner out of 3 was to an ok standard. Won’t be returning.

Came back to the Harvester Rayleigh Weir tonight for a family dinner. Service was great. Callum was a great server. Meg s was excellent as always, such a joy.

Megan was really helpful, and keen to help us with whatever we needed. I couldn't thank her enough for her kind service..

Food was fab, drinks are well priced and great atmosphere. Eleni our waitress was so lovely too, smiley and happy to help even when we were being really fussy!! Great service is rare to find these days!

Steph was very helpful and gave great customer service, we had some awkwardrequests but was able to accommodatewhat we wanted.

We came in for a late lunch/ early dinner our server Megan was great, so attentive and kind ! Would definitely come back 😊😊

Food was good, service a little slow.

Double chicken burger was left, very well overdone. Service was poor. As an example, we were still eating our starters when the mains turned up. Then, didn't bother to remove the old dishes. Never thought to ask if all was OK! Disappointed 😞

Before I start my moan about this place I'll say I understand that food prices have rocketed over the last few months.. But does that mean the quality and quantity of food has to suffer.. Well at Harvester yes it does!!! All prices have gone up but the portion sizes have gone down. For £18.00 I ordered the original combo, which is as described a quarter portion of chicken and half a rack of ribs with chips. I got the chips with 1 drumstick and 4 ribs. I'd love to see the size of these chickens if that was a quarter portion, and half a rack of ribs, 4 ribs it was a joke!! My daughters full rack of ribs were fatty and greasy, so not the normal quality you would expect from a Harvester and they were £20.00. Harvester for me has always been honest food at reasonable prices but that quite simply is not the case anymore. If I have noticed then I'm sure other people will begin to notice and then they may feel the same way I do, and that is I shall never eat at a Harvester again. And good luck to anyone who does!!

We came for our sons 4th birthday meal with the family. It was very busy but we got to our table pretty quick after a little get together at the bar. There was 9 of us; all varied ages but we all were very happy with our orders and the service. Unfortunately as it was busy some of the staples had run out from the much loved salad bar. The staff were very helpful in looking after the cake and presenting it to our table. Our 4 year old loved his birthday meal! Thank you to Lara our server and chef Emma. Food was amazing and the atmosphere was great!

Great value food and nice atmosphere for a quick mid week or weekend treat

Been in a few times, Meg S was our server tonight. She was brilliant as usual. One of a kind. Callum was also superb.

This place could be better, but they served a piece of dry overcooked brisket with not 1oz of fat, while I ordered a ribeye steak. The spare ribs were good though. Staff join in with a very noisy family and kids jumping on the seating.

Great staff but food not so good,chicken breast too tough to eat and waffle so hard I could not cut it

Food was cold Giving wrong sauce for chicken fries and the chicken was mostly bone and gristle and I had the ribs that wasn’t very saucy and a bit rough, also mac and cheese was mostly cheese hardly any Mac

missing items out of both of the adults breakfast..also missing the extra breakfast items I paid for. food stone cold. not impressed. half a breakfast delivered.

Normal Harvester fare. Our seating was before 6pm, got very busy by 7pm onwards which created a good atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and helpful when taking order and serving the food, waitress was known as Lara. Bless her as she was working so hard looking after several tables of people which had 10 people or more. Didn’t had to wait too long for the starters and main course, their had the correct amount of staffing during our time of visit. Parking is available which could get very busy as parking is shared with hotel which is directly next door.

Normal Harvester fare. The chicken stack was a bit on the dry side, and slightly overpriced

So today, Thurs 7th March, 2024, we visited Harvester, husband & i. Last visit food was poor but hubbies was ok. I've been ill for 2wks and just thought, nice salad, hubby suggested Harvester. Ok i said, i'm just up for salad. When we got there, 2.30pm, was a few people in but not busy. We ordered off lunch menue. 2 courses £13.49 each. I decided to try scampi & chips. Hubby had 7oz Gammon steak. Got to say both meals were deliscious. What let it down was service. Our waiter was either behind bar talking or nowhere to be seen. We waited forever to order, then forever to get dessert. We gave up with paying and had to go to bar in the end to pay. The restaurant was empty by this time with just 1 guy sitting in bar area. We will not be going back to Rayleigh Weir Harvester! EVER!

Good meal out, service was excellent and we were seated straight away, only slight negative was the salad bar was low on quite a few items, but otherwise we all really enjoyed our meals.

Had such a nice meal today, world's best service from Lara that made sure we got everything we needed. Was also informed that our chef was Emma so a massive thank you to her too. Highly recommended

Had a lovely meal today with my girlfriend. Staff were very friendly and had great which I informed Martin, who was the manager on shift and he was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely go here again.

Recently had a lovely family lunch here for a birthday. Martin the manager went above and beyond for us, really attentive and kept checking in with us. Made sure all allergen needs was taken care of with no stress! Martin was fantastic

There were 5 of us. We had a lovely round table in a quiet area & were impressed by the refurbishment, as we hadn't been for quite a while. Our waitress, Pearl, was friendly, patient & attentive to our needs. All of our food was delicious & perfectly cooked, especially the racks of ribs, which were amazing & fell off the bone. Would definitely go again. Thank you.

I cant go to a Harvester and not have a mixed grill, Decided to up it and have the ultimate this time and it certainly lived up to my expectations. Every thing was cooked well and was hot when it was delivered to the table. The salad bar was well stocked and all seemed fresh. The staff were pleasant and welcoming, especially Martin.

Had an amazing date night with my boyfriend this evening went to the harvester at Rayleigh weir, my waitress was called Lara and she was amazing , she was really good about my allergy as I was gluten-free I would highly recommend this restaurant as it’s one of the best that I have been to as someone who is allergic to gluten, I always worry about places to eat but it was the best meal l have had in a while my chef was called Emma and the food was to die for amazing enjoyed every little bit of it Thankyou again for making my experience 😁

Recent visit ..worse experience ive ever had there. Food luke warm and tired looking. Service woman smiled but looked disinterested. It wasn't busy, but customers were sat very close to us and so noisy. Guess all other tables booked by some poor unsuspecting customers! Salad cart was very poor... I've seen better in my student grandsons fridge ! Rolls, although we waited for new basket to arrive..the rolls were dry and had no taste. Awful waste of money. Wouldn't go again.

I eat here once a month with my friend. The staff are attentive and polite. Nothing is too much trouble even when they are busy. We have tried different restaurants but always come back here.

Very good value for money with the set menus and free buffet, food as expected for a large chain mass produced but adequate, service exceptional for a busy chain with attentive staff. Overall I would have given 3.5 if I could.

I Felix who served our table. He was fabulous. Attentive, polite and informative. Very patient, polite and friendly. We didn’t feel we were rushed we were given plenty of time to make our choices. The food was delicious, hot and tasty. My 7 year old nephew said it was his favourite restaurant.

Had a few drinks after work with some mates. Meg was really friendly and sorted out our drinks quickly. Always a great time!

I took my elderly grandmother here for her recent birthday, everyone was exceptionally welcoming and accomodating, especially the one lad, I think his name was Matthew? the food was served quickly whilst also maintaining excellent quality. A great place to go at the right price point. I will definitely be back.

Service was brilliant. Was dealt with by Matt who made our night so easy. Anything we needed he was quick to assist us. Made our lovely meal very enjoyable!

I visited Rayleigh Harvester the other day and honestly couldn’t have had a better experience. The service from our waitress Lara was impeccable and she was very friendly and helpful with my gluten allergy. Food was brilliant, Emma the chef catered very well to our needs.

Harvester is a good place. Staaf is friendly food is good quality. Kids love it.

Food not great ! Restaurant floor covered in food Food Cold Ribs were meatless, dry & fatty Salad cart empty No oils or toppings Waitress took too long to come back & when told she did offer us more food. Then she was overheard moaning about us !!! Shame as I always love a Harvester

Just had a lovely lunch at Harvester. Harry was our server and was incredible! Super friendly and attentive. The salad cart was in great condition and our mains came quickly. Was a 5 star experience thank you!

Visited for lunch today and it was really nice the food was great as always and Megan was so lovely very helpful happy, and chatty and clearly a natural people person. Great customer service makes such a difference to your overall experience and your day in general. I would have liked to leave Megan a tip but rarely carry cash and don’t really like leaving a tip by card.

I was very disappointed. I ordered a chicken skewer and the chicken was so dry that I didn't finish it all. 5 pieces of dry chicken on a skewer for just over £15. Won't be returning!

Within 20minutes of each others there is 5 Harvesters… I have never had a breakfast where I can’t swap my items apart from the Rayleigh brunch… I don’t like half the stuff you offer and you can’t swap tomatoes for mushrooms? I see a greedy Head Chef or General Manager. The service was good, lady was lovely this morning. The food was not great.. burnt toast, burnt sausages and burnt bacon… didn’t have time to complain as on way to a nice holiday. Not the morning we wanted. Once rated Harvester Rayleigh but this morning has made me remember why I go to the others. Not sure if Harvester become greedy but why no more unlimited, and having to pay for juice now?? I would suggest go elsewhere guys.

Megan was fab, very patient with us as we had two kids in tow. Attentive and alert. Chef Lou did a great job with our food, too.

The food was good ok. I had the healthy option of grilled chicken on a bed of salad. Lots of flavor and a decent amount of foor for what I wanted. The waiter Harry was exceptional. He was polite, knowledgeable on the menu and overall very professional. The type of person I'd like working for me.

We were served by Harry this evening, he was very attentive and friendly, and was very thorough when confirming menu items were gluten free for me. My husband is autistic and the lovely hostess did her best to seat us somewhere out of the way and quiet, which we really appreciated. The salad bar was fresh and our main meals were delicious. We asked for dessert to go as the restaurant was getting quite loud (Friday evening rush), and that was not a problem. Harry took care of everything, swiftly and professionally. Thank you for a great experience!
