It's a restaurant and a pub separate but under the same roof, I've dropped by for a swiffty on my way home from work . On my first visit, I was Billy, no mates, but you'll not get away with being alone, fa long it's reassuringly a Banta Ball pit of "who's you?, where ya stay? Take a seat an what you wanna drink? . it is a proper pub..you'll get some ribbin/banta but it's all friendly and Safe. It's a place we're you'll hear fruity language, a place where you can arrive a stranger and leave knowing your next visit you'll bump into a pal or two. There's live bands every weekend, and if you've seen my profile, then you know I'm into my food , and Pub grub should be VFM, and everything is Tickerty Boo here. The salads are massive, the meaty meals are huge, and the service fast. give this place a try.

Ordered the lasagne the meat was off the smell omg got mac cheese as a replacement that did not taste or smell right .used to go a lot for lunch or dinner alway good .Will near eat anything out of there again.

Recently popped into the Ranch & Legends Diner for a quick meal & couple of drinks. Can honestly say it was a great decision. Danielle was our server & she was really welcoming with a great smile & nothing too much trouble. I told her I usually have the Steak Pie there but I seen Chicken Maryland was on as a special & she told me it was going down well. Great information & can say it was superb. The wife had Lasagne which is never a let down in the Ranch. If you live local or passing through, pop into the Ranch & get yourself some great food & drinks at super reasonable prices. Loved it :)

Having been a regular at the Ranch & Legends Diner pre-COVID, I thought I would check it out to see if the food was still as good & reasonably costed now it is under new owners, so we visited on Friday 22nd July & I can confirm it is. As you will see from many of my other reviews, I make a point of trying the steak pie as I class myself a pretty good judge of whole hearted classic food. As I said I had the steak pie, chips & veg & my better half had the Lasagne. The steak pieces were tender & tasty in a great tasting gravy & the pastry was lovely, so well happy. My wife's Lasagne was lovely too (her words) & plenty of it, served with salad & 2 pieces of garlic bread. Service was efficient, polite & the food came in very little time, even though the diner area was busy (we choose to sit in the bar area most times for food & drinks). The prices for the food is very good & we thoroughly enjoyed our quick meal. I am happy to recommend the Ranch to anyone looking for tasty food at very good prices.

Popped in today for lunch. Hadn’t booked but was warmly welcomed by both staff even although the restaurant was almost full. Great lunch menu on offer. Food was tasty, piping hot & excellent value. Will definitely be back. Service was excellent I would highly recommend The Ranch

Excellent value for money and lots different choices of Menus for all ages whether it be a solo visit, group visit or friends. All staff cant do enough for the Customer and they tailor your needs if requested. Recommend the Vegerian Lasagne and Lattee with Tia Maria. Seating comfy and private even when busy. Excellent Chefs at all visits and generous portions. Not been back due to illness but we miss the 'unique' Hollywood/Legends decor everything about it. 10 stars!

Was in for a meal, and the food was fantastic, it's also Lovley set out inside.

Popped in here for lunch after reviewing on Trip Advisor, as we were in the local area but didn’t want a garden centre meal. We were not disappointed. Bar and dining areas are separate with the dining area tastefully decorated and very clean. We chose the “2 meals for £12” deal and had the very tasty beef lasagne and the moreish beef chilli con carne. Huge portions, piping hot and really tasty. Place was very quiet but staff were very attentive without being intrusive. There is parking across the road in a designated car park. Would def go back if in the area again. Now away home for a lie down!!

Good choice with the 2 main meals for £12 it was just like your Mums cooking didn’t get anything fancy just good no frills food hadn’t been in for ages decor is nice place is clean big portions of food had to lie down afterwards

Small American diner idea which has great value for money and various options to choose from. Very warm and friendly atmosphere and food was delicious. Parking is also available across the road for any drivers.

My wife and I visit this bar on occasional Saturday evenings but although have had lunches in the past we have never actually had a dinner.This evening we booked a table early evening as a friend of mine was involved in a reunion night and music from the 1970s was being played.This turned out to be a fantastic evening and we were not disappointed with food either,I made mistake of having a garlic mushroom starter as there was loads and my wife wouldn't help me out even though they were delicious.My main was a sizzling chicken fajita and again large plateful and delicious,my wife had a beef stroganoff and was equally delighted and all very reasonably priced.The lager in here and the cocktails are to a high standard and we had a great night,one small negative was that on such a busy night there were only 2 girls serving behind the bar but they coped admirably,great night.

I have to say we went as a family and I got a surprise . the food was great and so was the cost . the bar staff were very help full and friendly . highly recommend . we even stayed after meal for the artist which was not planned . only negative I would say is it was a bit cold in restaurant

Had dinner on valentines night food and service were 1st class. I had French Onion soup then sea bass both excellent tho soup was really excellent partner had tempura prawns followed by chicken and smoked bacon both delicious both had shortbread strawberry tower for dessert which wouldn’t have been out of place at a 5star restaurant. Thoroughly recommend a visit for lunch or dinner

Turned up here as we were passing by on the way back to Cumbria. It was a very cold day and we were the only customers. We were greeted with a warm smile and seated by the radiator. We ordered burgers, mince and tatties and minute steak. The steak was more like a rump and the pepper sauce it came with was lovely. All served piping hot which is just what we were after. Great little place.

Went for lunch with Santa. Great day. Lovely food, great service and value for money. Entertainment was brilliant for kids and the big kids 😊

We popped into the Ranch for a quick drink but decided to grab something to eat when there & was not disappointed. I had the Chicken Tikka which came with Rice & also Chips at the great price of only £8 & tasted great. This was one of the many meals on their 2 for £12 deal as well so a great bargain. Service was fast, efficient & polite. Washed it all down with a couple pints of Stella as well so not a bad result. I will definitely be back.

La comida es absolutamente precioso. No tenía una mala comida en aquí. Pieles de patata son para morirse, especialmente cubiertas con un montón de queso. La comida es siempre fresca y siempre sabe muy bien. Los tamaños de las porciones también son geniales, especialmente por el precio.

Almuerzo rápido con la familia. Era el 2 platos principales para £12 oferta, así que no me esperaba el mundo, pero más de la comida era claramente mala calidad congelados. Ensalada fue el de supermercados baratos cosas desagradables. Lugar solía ser mucho mejor para una buena comida.

Comida muy pobre los niños tenían los palitos de pescado y patatas fritas, mi marido y yo tuvimos pescado y patatas fritas fue claramente de comida el congelador y sabía de nada. El personal no era muy amable y el ruido y el idioma de la zona del bar era asqueroso cuando hay niños comiendo no volveré esta fue nuestra primera visita y no será la última.

Went on a Sunday for lunch with my girlfriend the food was lovely the staff were nice couldn't give it 5 stars because of the noise coming from the bar it wasn't very nice hearing men shout and swear at the football when your out for a lunch with your girlfriend still gave it 4 stars for the food and service though as couldn't fault that

Ir de copas para la noche en el fin de semana encontrará ciertos miembros del personal grosero y odioso que están más interesados en jugar "uno de los chicos" que en realidad. Sin embargo ir durante el día para la cena tampoco tuvo se han ido y todo el personal es encantador y te tratan con respeto. Tal diferencia y la comida es deliciosa.

Han pasado varios veces y termino mi plato cada vez sabrosa comida, gran servicio y siempre nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos. El servicio es rápido y muy razonable de precio no puedo esperar a volver

Brilliant family run pub, highly recommended for family/couples solo visits. Food has always been to best standards and always finished my plate. Entertainment always diffrent and enjoyable always have a great night and staff very friendly just a beautifully run pub in general. Everyone feel made more than welcome. Like they say your only a stranger once ❤ xxx

Been in a few times and ordered different things each time. The food has gotten a lot better recently and the menus been changed up for more variety. Never had a bad meal in the place and it's really good value for money too. Would definitely recommend.

Went for food and a drink on friday night. Between us we had garlic mushrooms, nachos, chicken curry, macaroni, fajitas, caramel shortcake and sticky toffee pudding. Could not fault any of the food and the homemade coleslaw was amazing! Compliments to the new chef!

Dined here with friends and can I just say I will be back this place is excellent the staff couldn't have been any more help full I felt so comfortable and relaxed the food was awesome I can't wait to go back highly recommend best eatery in larkhall and surrounding areas by far

Passed a few time & popped in tonight for a meal....The restaurant looked very nice & clean. The starter was fine the main meal was terrible we asked for 1 x chicken burger & was recommended the fish pie Big mistake. the fish pie was tasteless the fish had skin still on & the sauce was not nice It came with puff pastry not mash potatoes on top very strange, my partner never got a chicken burger a beef burger arrived..Sorry wont be back.

Went for lunch today another estate ur was open to the at with football on and loud drunk men swearing and being very grotesque. Soup for starter was nice, main course was steak pie and was tasteless never even ate half. Waited 15mins for an ice cream and caramel short cake. Was all from lunch menu was small portions and came in at £28. Wasn't worth it pub grub. Staff were nice and friendly that's only positive thing unfortunatly.

The Ranch opened it's restaurant a wee while ago and it hit the ground running so to speak! but I would say in the last 6 months it has went downhill again. You could tell the sauces were packets used over the chicken and what was meant to be Brandy sauce was clearly peppercorn -we went a Saturday evening about 6pm and it was dead and it's a shame because there's not many good places in larkhall to eat.

Poped in for lunch on passing seens as av not been in the ranch for years, lovely place...........but.........the food lets it down, inedible veg well not nice greasy macaroni ( use a cjeeper cheese, less fat content when grilling) hard chips, lentil soup was very strange to....luke warm with a weird taste on the pallet. You will have to up youre game guys if you want to survive in the food enviroment.
