£8 for a full breakfast, Inc tea and toast. Lovely food and plenty of it, how I managed to eat it all is a mystery! For £2 extra you get double!! New owners since March 27th, very nice people. My 1st ever visit here .

Fantastic food now that the new owners are in, all very well presented and the smell hits you as soon as you open the doors, I was going to go for a burger but instantly changed my mind as soon as I saw the shepherds pie. Perfectly cooked and with potatoes and veg. Thank you and I’ll definitely be back. 🏴🏴🏴

Friendly welcome. Breakfast adapted to my needs and cooked fresh with scrambled eggs. Car park for 2 hours. Worth a try for those road warriors that want decent food at a good price. And want a change to visiting the chain restaurants.

Not many overnight truck stops do good food but this is the exception. The food is absolutely divine I highly recommend it. The girls working when I visited today were welcoming and made me feel at home not to mention how gorgeous they are too 😉 Definitely worth a visit

Stayed overnight and had a meal I ordered the lasagne meal They asked me what I wanted in the salad They then placed then chips and lasagne on top of the salad making the salad disgusting The lasagne was stodgy and dry not very palatable to eat Will not be having that meal again

I like truck stops. I have the idea that people who drive for a living have the best idea of where to find the good food. I also like British cuisine, and truckers do tend to be traditional. I don't like service stations. I don't like being just another anonymous face being served factory food. When you're on the road, you eventually need to eat, and it's easy to take it as just fuel. I don't like having to be away from home, so I need more than fuel. I need comfort. I'm grateful to the previous reviewers. It was because of them that I tried the Ranch Cafe. Heading South from Durham to Hampshire, I took a detour down the A1, to return to the M1 via the A46, just so that I could try the Ranch. Glad that I did. The Newark Lorry Park is an interesting location. It's a severely industrial haulage facility. As a car driver, when you trundle in, you're entering a very different world. I was treated to a warm and friendly welcome and my meal was delicious and perfectly cooked. Because of COVID, I had a takeaway and picnicked in the car. The takeaway container was bowl shaped, which enhanced the pleasure of the meal. The Ranch is now permanently on my map of pit stop locations for my long distance driving.

Stayed overnight at Newark lorry Park and had a meal from the Ranch Cafe, the menu was limited which I like as not too many choices usually makes the turnaround time quicker. I opted for savoury mince, chips and veg, tea and a slice of bread and butter .The main meal was served,as I chose the takeaway option, in a biodegradable carton and was piping hot, although not the cheapest of meals the quality was superb and very enjoyable. I would certainly recommend and next time I'm in the area will certainly call back. The cafe itself is clean, tidy and the staff polite.

We have recently used the delivery service of this cafe (on a lorry park) With it's location you expect a "Greasy spoon" type food but we gave it a dry What we have received have been excellent Sunday dinners. Delivered either hot ready to eat or ready to warm up ourselves Top service, value for money establishment. Definitely will be ordering again and will probably visit when covid allows us to Highly recommended

although driving a car, places to park are made available, and the breakfast was really good and a lot cheaper than some places I've eaten at, the staff in the café are really friendly and cheerful, the café is clean and modern and I have visited a couple of times now and will continue to use it in the future. good value for money.

I was looking forward to dining here as a coeliac but the service I had wasn’t exactly accompanied with a smile. The gluten free pancakes that I ordered were delicious but unfortunately they clearly were not gluten free due to the terrible reaction I had later on that day.. very disappointing. Even though I confirmed with the waitress that the pancakes were gluten free!

WOW!!! we have had afternoon tea’s at many venues, from cafes to castles and the afternoon here beat them all hands down! the service was impeccable and the staff were friendly and very attentive. the food (there was 3 of us) was unbelievably delicious and there was so much included in the price of the afternoon tea. fresh products and excellently put together with remarkable skill. i can’t recommend this venue enough. it’s a little gem hidden behind an antique shop but boy it’s worth a visit!! go have afternoon tea and see the fresh produce for yourself you wont regret it (my photos don’t do this afternoon tea justice)

Just had a regular breakfast. 9.99 single or two people £16 good value if there are two of you. Nice sausage and mushrooms, nice granary bread. Everything else ok. However was spoilt by the egg being so unnecessarily overcooked with hard yoke and sellotape bottom it spoilt my experience... And why rock hard frozen packets of butter so you cant spread it on the toast? So my honest feedback. Please look at things from a customer experience perspective and not speed of cooking and ease of serving. I've been in the past and it was much better. Don't think I'll rush back.
