A great little café especially for bikers. We went, for the first time, to the monthly Biker's Night. Wonderful. Met some great guys n gals including my neighbour from 15 years ago.

Hmmmm🤔 it is what it is a Bikers cafe a little grubby but not horrendous.....I had a small breakfast.... Sausage, egg, toms and toast. Sausage overcooked a little crispy but tasty, egg under cooked. I like a film over my yolk and not slimy. A pet hate of mine, the food wasn't HOT...... It's easy, just dish up on hot plates... Would I return ...Yes but would ask for my food to be hot

Great food, lovely setting and very friendly, helpful staff. A very nice lady gave us an extra piece of cake which was delicious. Went on my bike and other half followed in the car. A very enjoyable morning. Definitely recommend 👍👍

Staff are nice, cake good, but it's strictly cash only, which is annoying, it's convenient to not have to carry a pocket full of papers and shrapnel on the bike.

They only accept cash! Great place for people who like to see bikes or are Biker's to visit as well as anyone else. The entrance is not easily accessible for wheelchairs. However, there's ample space and seating outside on the front of the business. At busy times is not as easy to go in as the entrance is a limited space. The menu is varied, and vegetarian options are available. The staff are helpful and friendly. Parking is available on the road. Lots of Biker's go here so you can often see loads of motorbikes parked on the road.

Usually stop here on motorcycle when out that way. Have the all day breakfast, sometimes small, sometimes a bit larger, always enjoy it. Be warned though, cash only, but what's wrong with that!

Stop in and sit out on the benches when it's sunny with your nosh. Great breakfast butties and tea served swiftly. Sausage & egg on toast is really good.

Really liked it, but admit wasn't happy with the prices, especially tea and coffee, would like to return, but hate feeling ripped off for hot water and a tea bag, regardless of thats how things are today, I have a choice and it's not to spend that. I do understand there are wages to pay, but reduce the cost 30% and sell 100% more drinks and you'll need a larger till to keep the extra money in!! Not sure how to reply to the owners return comment, so I'll do it this way. I was sat with five other bikers who each of us had never met before, all drinking tea, but felt the prices were ridiculous also, but clearly not mentioned it, as I have: as for top quality tea bags top quality water and milk E.T.C, I'm a bloody biker gone to a cafe for a cup of tea, not someone who'd thought he'd just ridden to a 5* mitchelin restaurant in Chelsea when I saw the drink menu price list. Glad I enjoyed the company there too.

Bike ride out today for bacon butty. We asked for crispy bacon/mushroom and crispy bacon/egg. In my opinion there is a distinct difference between crispy and cremated! It was terrible. We should have also requested a soft egg but didn't. Unfortunately it was solid. The mugs if tea were only three quarter full at best and we had to request that they were filled up. Disappointed and will not be returning.

Nice friendly, if you ask for capuchino coffee it comes from Costa across the road.

Always a good quality pit stop, cheap it isn't but you get what you pay for. Parking is in the roadside lay-by on either side of the road and is free. Very popular with motorcyclists on any sunny day, especially at weekends!

11.50 Breakfast, cash only. No Tea included? What's that about. Every Breakfast in the world that breaks the £10 price barrier has a basic tea or coffee included. Nice spot but I wouldn't bother again with it. I hate meanness in a business.

What a pleasant surprise this place was !! From entering and being welcomed the menu was so enticing from breakfasts to homemade cakes everything was so mouth watering 😋 the building was clean and well cared for .

I visited with a group of 8 friends for a breakfast before a day out. The team there couldn’t have been any more accommodating, looking after us from the moment we arrived and making us all feel very welcome. The breakfast was top notch and it will definitely be part of our plans on the next trip. Thank you

Honest, no nonsense, down to earth café serving great food at a sensible price. Proper coffee machine and attentive staff in a clean and tidy environment. Plenty of seating and a real mixing pot of customers. Friendly and welcoming. Popular with walkers, motorcyclists and cyclists. Right on the edge of Sherwood forest and in easy reach of local tourism hot spots such as Clumber.

Great food, freshly cooked to order. Top quality ingredients, excellent sausages and bacon. My husband really liked the black pudding. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The interior is what it says, a hut, which is very clean and well laid out, but with all the outdoor space if we'd had warmer weather we'd probably have sat outside just to enjoy the sunshine. Will definitely be visiting here again for what is a quality cooked breakfast.

Love coming here. As a quick stop for a cuppa, or a good value full English it can't be beaten. Plenty of parking especially for us bikers. Go on, give it a go. You won't be disappointed.

Popped in after being at Center Parcs for the week. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Lovely and attentive staff. Baby and dog friendly too.

This was the best veggie breakfast we ever had. Staff were lovely, polite and cheerful, would highly recommend this place for a meal. The food, staff, location and atmosphere was excellent. Thanks to all the staff everything. Will definitely be returning.

You park in the lay-by. Take care, it’s a busy road. This is a reasonable place for tea, cake, light meal at honest prices.

What on earth has happened here , we have gone here for years for a Sunday Breakfast at least once a month. What was served up today was absolutely disgusting. The toast was absolutely burnt to a Crisp we sent that back . The black pudding tasted like road gravel and again was burnt. The fried bread was crusts which was grease full . Honestly the worst plate of food I’ve ever been served . Told the waitress who really couldn’t care . Dreadful down turn .

Camping at stone valley we used this cafe for four mornings for breakfast . We got a warm friendly welcome and the lady tweeked my breakfast order. When it arrived it was cooked to perfection realy well presented and delicious . Ollerton is not somewhere i travel too but if im ever in the area i would go the extra distance to return. Great spot and hope to return soon well done.

The food is average at best the prices are expensive for what it is. There’s no card machine which is 2023 not many businesses deal in cash only….

Brilliant member of staff. A lady with blond heir offered me and my colleague a drink as we in a nearby lay-by. We both work for the ambulance service and was really taken aback by her generosity. I had a flat white that was lovely. Definitely be stopping again.

Dropped into Green Hut cafe for lunch after a morning of motorcycle riding. They are used to having bikers. Great setup to allow them to service large numbers in the summer. Everyone in our group of 12 liked it too. Good food and friendly service.

Great place to sit out the sporadic downpours with a big marquee. Coffee is served in a tall glass and was brought out to the table very rapidly! --- To the fella with the black CBR Sixfifty, Alpinestars kit and AGV lid, hope you got back home to Sheffield sound and great chatting to you! Food cooked well, but a full English breakfast that doesn't come with everything is not a full English, you have to choose between beans or toms (different to menu on their webpage) you get 1 slice of toast or bread, tea is extra (£1.70) and its base cost is £9.50. One of our group had a medium and I would dread to think what a small was. Don't mind paying top dollar but want top dollar portion. Will not return due to cost and selection.

We are fortunate enough to be very local to this amazing establishment… Locally sourced, top quality food that is cooked to order for you, all the staff are amazing, the entire place is absolutely spotlessly clean and well maintained. Everybody is made to feel welcome whether you’re a passing trucker, hoard of bikers or family looking to feed the kids. I have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending The Green Hut to anybody looking for proper good food at a fair price in todays market. Be aware that it is CASH ONLY - it’s in a forest people, the internet can be entirely useless through all those trees! ( however the trade off for this mild inconvenience is that you often get to watch wild deer while you eat your sausages! )

Excellent, filling food with a great degree of choice. A perfect example of a British cafe. The full English breakfast ranks among the best I've had. Friendly, kind and helpful staff and rapid service. Lots of seating available, both inside and out, conveniently located for stopping on a long trip. Cash Payments only (accurate as of 19/11/2022), but an ATM is available across the roundabout at the Shell filling station.

Wow come every Sunday morning for the superb big breakfast. The staff and lady owner are absolutely brilliant friendly always welcoming smiling chat too. The service is spot on every time visit. It's a must have refreshments stop. Even the local customers are great to chat with

Bit late writing this, but came here with another couple for breakfast. Absolutely perfect food cooked exactly as we wanted. Had it not been for my friends girlfriend falling off on departure it would have been a perfect day. Watch that departure camber biker friends…

Expanding cafe. Investing into covered areas and children’s facilities in order to cater for wider audience rather than dog walkers and bikers. However cash only ? Really ? In 2022?

Friendly staff, good selection on the menu. Lots of space outside ( both covered and open), and inside. I would imagine it gets very busy in the warmer months.

A lovely cafe. Popular meeting place for bikers, called in for a lovely breakfast and a cuppa whilst out on a bike ride (motorbike). Didn't have to wait long for our breakfast and was all freshly cooked. Will definitely be calling in again.

Big mistake calling in for breakfasts and coffees. Breakfast expensive and very poor, (rock hard egg and poor quality sausages). Mug of coffee was horrid, undrinkable and very watery.

First and last visit. The coffee was vile, none of us could drink it and the medium breakfast was extortionate for a couple of burnt frozen sausage, hard egg and plate full of watery beans. Very disappointing.

Food great , place great , people who work there great . Just wish they had more bike nights there than once a month.

Call here regularly for breakfast This cafe sits just off the main road and has plenty of seating including a large covered outside area, very popular with motorbikers so plenty to see. It is spotlessly clean and staff are very friendly and go out of there way to help.. English breakfast is great with local produce used...also cornflake tart is to die for and always take some home Love it, highly recommended

Tried the Green Hut for the first time over Easter. Enjoyed looking at the bikes whilst sat outside in the sun eating a lovely (although a bit overpriced for the portion size) breakfast. Surprisingly payment had to be made by cash, luckily we had some on us otherwise would have been a wasted journey. I think our breakfasts were £7.50 each. We will go again but would be better if card payments were accepted.
