Waited 90 minutes for food to turn up won't use again

All the curries lacked flavour and tasted similar. Bhaji was very dry, the naan didn't taste freshly baked and tasted/looked similar to shop brought ones. All the food was delivered hot and within ETA. Was sent a chicken korma instead of a paneer, was told we'd have the correct one delivered however this never arrived.

It's ok. That's as much as I can say. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was relatively hot. Food tasted ok but nowhere near as nice as ot use to be hence the 3 stars

This is a great value curry house. The food is tasty and not greasy. Always delivered promptly too.

Ordered a take away delivery. It was bloody awful. The pilau rice was very old and was disgusting. Chicken did not look like or taste like chicken. When it arrived it was also practically cold! I’ve never eaten a curry that was so obviously heated up and food was old! Makes me so angry when ordering an Indian and you cannot touch it apart from the naan. I would def give this restaurant a big swerve!!

Feel I need to review as not many people seem to…and seems to get a bad rep when it has gone wrong rather than where it is a solid Indian takeaway. I have always found the food provided to be very good quality and good value for what you get. We order meals for 1 regularly (daughter loves them) and the odd larger order and never been disappointed.

I visited this business the other night, the only customer present, with a large order. Ten minutes passed without any staff acknowledging me. Then the phone rang for a telephone order, which a member of staff answered straight away. I stated loudly that I was next to be served. It fell on deaf ears. I took my money elsewhere to a friendlier, more customer focused Indian restaurant. I will never use this place again.

Always get a banging meal from here. Staff are friendly and patient with me haha

Food was lovely, other then the mint sauce which didn't smell right, and we ate a bit and threw the mint sauce away, had a upset stomach too, which i think was linked to the mint sauce

Meat and Potato Balti,served with Nan Bread at less than £9.The curry was tasty,large amount of meat and potato,and some fresh tomato,I asked for mine without onion. The nan was well cooked and also tasty,amd is the best value curry meal I have found in Thanet so far.

Ramsgate Balti are my go to local Indian takeaway. The food is always well cooked, tasty and non-greasy. The chicken polock is especially good! Highly recommended.

Delivery order...food arrived 45minutes late,cold, needed putting in my oven.no popadoms.and give me a terrible upset tummy the next day. £25 spent...I should have just burnt the notes, would have been more satisfying.avoid at all cost!!

The other night we had a curry from here and it was very tasty. Really enjoyed it.

Coriander overload: food would have been lovely if they didn’t smother ever item with coriander, if you’re like me and hate the stuff, I would highly recommend you ask for your whole meal to be without it as it was quite unbearable.

Disappointed with service this evening, telephone order taken was wrong even thou I asked for rice and he read back rice, and I double checked, NO RICE! What point of a curry if no rice. They would send it out but I had to pay for rice when their error, and my food goes cold waiting. Chicken Byriani far too spicy to eat threw it away. Won't be using this takeaway ever again

Great food. Beyond poor service with delivery. I cannot complain about the food which in my opinion is fantastic. What bugs me is lying about delivery times which they do all the time. If they were honest they would have much higher star ratings!

Food was really tasty and neatly presented. Delivery was a problem. After calling, this was resolved promptly.

Have used this takeaway about month and I find it absolutely delicious. It’s the best I’ve had and the service is fantastic👍🏿 Love this takeaway

Ordered at 5.30 thinking we’d give them plenty of time. Was told an hour to hour and ten minutes but still waiting an hour and 40 minutes later. Not the first time we’ve had an issue with delivery but food is generally good.

This evening we tried Lamb Biriyani from this take-away. Delivered exactly in time, food was hot and tasty. We enjoyed the meal. Thank you.

Appalling service food was cold items missing from the order when I called to rectify the issue got a sarcastic response said the missing items would be resent and I never received them will not be using again

Usually ok, couple of times they have missed the naan bread that comes with balti and I've had to use store bought bread. Last night, they cancelled our order on a popular takeaway ordering app, after already waiting over half an hour. World Cup football was on so presumably busy, but could have cancelled sooner so we could order elsewhere. Food is ok when it does arrive, although amount of meat seems to have reduced over time.

Ordered at 18.24. Told delivery at 19.00 A further half hour was added after confirmation via just eat. By 8.15 no food still. 14 calls to restaurant and engaged all the time. Even Just Eat customer services couldn’t get through and they have a seperate number. Cancelled order. It turned up at 8.35 despite being cancelled. Driver wasn’t impressed.

Food is fine but was given a delivery time from when I ordered and one hour and fourth five minutes later, I'm still waiting.

We have tried most Indian food outlets in Ramsgate and this is by far the best authentic taste. They are also willing to vary the menu to what you want. Yummy 😋

Ordered on Just Eat, waited 20 mins past delivery time. Contacted them, told food was cooked and waiting for delivery driver so made to wait for food that had been cooked for ages. Gave up, got refund. Never again. Shocking. Avoid at all costs. Only got 1 star because can’t award 0. Ruined our evening. Don’t waste your time

Ordered through HungryHouse. Waited 90 minutes (30 mins past due) had to contact the restaurant who said they didn't have a driver and cancelled the order. They didn't try to offer anything off next order or give the option to pick up the order. I understand things can go wrong but they were not interested in how I was feeling. Very poor.

Tried this one as I had not had a takeaway curry since moving to Ramsgate. Certainly not disappointed. The order arrived at exactly the time I requested it - a good range of breads and a very spicy madras. The side dishes were all very tasty. Will definitely be going back to them.

Bit of a disaster, really, although not entirely their fault (Hungryhouse sent them to the wrong address). When the meal eventually arrived, one item was missing and the Duck Naga had become a Lamb Naga. Won't be using this place or Hungryhouse again.

Waiting almost an hour and a half for my order. Totally unacceptable....was a mid week order so very much doubt if they were very busy. Food is good to be fair but they are ALWAYS late delivering. Half hour this time!!!

We ordered a takeaway from here on a friend's recommendation. I have to say that it was very nice. However, it did take rather a long time for us to wait to collect it.

They missed off on of the dishes. Try to contact through just eat. What a mission that was asking for order number then cutting out from the advisor gave up in the end.

Unfortunately there were NO POPPADOMS, and I was looking forward to these, because I have just bought some pickles on Internet.

Not the quickest delivery, for was not the best in the area but was good. Delivery driver was very polite.

Over 30 mins late, very little chicken in the dishes. Taste was lacking, very poor compared to normal. Will think twice before using again.

My food has not yet arrived although the just eat website is indicating that it was delivered 25 minutes ago. Called them and there is no discount for lateness. They had already added 30 minutes to the delivery time. Hope the food will be good and that it hasn't been sitting around for too long.

Fast delivery, great quality food, definately order again.

Better experience this time poppadoms crisp, free nan bread, extra poppadom, just a little more seasoning needed. Expect to use again.
