We received a friendly welcome, the breakfast was lovely and the service was excellent. We would definitely visit again when we are in the area.

We visited here on a Saturday, just for drinks, myself, boyfriend and daughter. They were really busy but still managed to find us a table for 2, but squeezed another chair in. They did table service, even though we were only there for drinks. The waitress was really friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be returning.

There were 16 of us in our group… the food was excellent and hot… I think we all ordered something different and we all thoroughly enjoyed our choices The staff were very friendly and attentive plus the toilets were clean and comfortable Thank you very much We will be back and definitely would recommend it to everyone

Another visit at the Ram that hasn’t disappointed . Me and my husband returned to the Ram for some lunch . Again, the service was impeccable . Staff were friendly, the establishment was clean and welcoming . Food was so delicious . We were both very happy with everything .

I get it, there’s rules, they’re there for a reason, it’s a stressful time for all (customers and staff) but there seemed a lack of common sense this weekend regarding our table placements. A satisfactory ending was eventually arrived at but the bearded gent on front of house made a long-winded, begrudging, fist of it when it was really much easier to manage. He wasn’t a bad chap, maybe it had just been a long shift.

A group of 4 of us had a very pleasant meal here. Social distancing & care was well observed. Very clear menu (albeit limited) showing dietary constraints of each item. Rather too much batter on the fish, and the mushy peas weren't all that hot - but these were relatively minor details. Would certainly return.

Popped in in a bank holiday Monday and we’re greeted warmly and offered a choice of seating. Good menu options and offering half price pizzas. Good service, tasty food and excellently priced. We will definitely visit again.

We called here on Sunday lunchtime without a booking and were greeted by a very pleasant young man who promptly found us a table in the beer garden. We only wanted a drink in the sunshine and were looked after really well, will definitely call in again when we are next in Newark.

We were visiting the town and felt a bit peckish. We found the Ram by chance and how lucky we were. Lovely food, great service - what more do you need? It's just around the corner from weatherspoon, a bit more pricy but well worth it.

Visited on a sunny afternoon. Staff really efficient and friendly and everything is covid secure. Cajun chicken was excellent.

We popped in on a whim as the weather was great and we saw diners outside. It was Tuesday for 2 for £30 which was 2 large meals and a bottle of wine. We had never been in - must have been a hotel as quite a grand entrance. Lovely Glen was at the bar and immediately made us feel welcome with his comedic banter. Popped outside to a full garden of diners and drinkers. Very pleasant except needed candles on the tables as hard to see the meal on certain seats. Lovely food. I had the steak and peppercorn sauce with the succulent steak and peppercorns sauce popping delightfully. My partner had the Cajun chicken and sweet potato which was equally delicious. We shared a bottle of house red - quaffable and a lovely warm brownie and icecream - enough for two. Delightful servers Josie and Glen. Thank you. Just sort some candles or parasol lights for outdoor dining and it’s five stars.

We absolutely love this place the service is fab along with the food, we always pop in after a little walk round the town it’s a great place to visit.

First visit to Newark and found The Ram on the eat out to help out list. Really nice modern, clean building. Friendly and attentive staff. Great food and drink. Completely adhering to Covid guidelines and we felt very happy there. Sat in the sunny courtyard to eat - well socially distanced from other diners. Would definitely recommend.

We decided to venture out last sat and had a walk around town with a bit of trepidation, our first visit to a local new bar left a lot to be desired in these covid times. Not so at the Ram. We were welcomed by the door security and asked if we had booked a table, when we said no but it was no problem a staff member came over to greet us right away and shown us to a table. The Ram is one of the bigger pubs in town and I got the impression the staff were working to a plan. On the table was a contact form and the attentive staff were offering table service along with paying by tab (one of my favorite continental comforts). There was plenty of evidence of cleaning whist we were there and we felt reassured and safe. We will call again and recommend it to our friends a a safer place than most local pubs.

Just popped in for a casual lunch on a day trip to Newark. We'll definitely come here again! It was midweek just after pubs could open again. The welcome was immediate and genuine. We chose to sit out in the courtyard which was atmospheric. We were attended to promptly and warmly. Food and drink came at a good pace. We had the Ram burger and the halloumi burger. Both utterly brilliant. Food, service and atmosphere all utterly brilliant. Cannot fault the offering, especially under Covid-19 restrictions. Would strongly recommend and intend visiting next time in Newark. Well done!

Visited with last night to celebrate my birthday with a very large group of 14 friends. The tapas & service was excellent! Very welcoming & the food was so tasty. Everyone loved it & we’ll certainly be back! Thank you!

What a great place to have lunch. Food was really nice. Staff defiantly very helpful. Cosy log burner just what you need coming out from the cold. Very nice ladies toilets very clean and looks like recently all refurbished. In the summer can’t wait to come back to sit in the courtyard with a nice drink.

We love to pop in to The Ram for lunch and any excuse will do!The new menu launched a couple of weeks ago so that was good enough reason. We tried some dishes from the tapas menu and were very pleased indeed. We sampled 6 dishes and lived them all so it would be difficult to choose one to drop in favour of trying something different Definitely recommend if ever you find yourself in Newark looking for something to eat

This was our first visit to the Ram, Newark. The place is really on trend, with superb decor. The prices aren’t cheap, so it’s more for special occasions really.The staff were really nice and friendly during our visit. We would certainly visit again in the future, without a doubt.

I visited the ram which I found to be dirty too noisy, and the staff incredibly rude. I will be in The Rupert or Oscar's where they know how to provide customer service and quality. Disappointed. Marry Christmas.

Went for lunch with friends. They had sandwiches/wraps which looked fine. I had tapas which were very disappointing. Overpriced for very small portions of unremarkable food. All looked and tasted bought in not home made. ‘Cauliflower wings’ were 5 minuscule florets in a bland coating with a blob of bland sauce for about £6. The other tapas I had were similarly poor.The service was good, efficient and friendly. Can’t fault that. Coffee was excellent too.I admit I didn’t say anything at the time as I was with friends and didn’t want to spoil the pleasant lunch we had together.Won’t be returning for food.

The Ram changed hands recently and at first things were on the up, the dirty beer garden was cleaned up, there was an attempt albeit scrappy at offering table service and most of all the music was toned down so you could hold a conversation. I called in as usual, on Saturday night with 3 couples, we were greeted by 2 bouncers the table service has gone,and the place was deserted. Worst of all was the music which was so loud I had to shout to order the drinks. It was impossible to have any sort of conversation and as a result the 2 occupied tables near us in the side room were all shouting at each other to be heard. When I raised the problem with the bar staff I had to shout my complaint as behind the bar there are 4 speakers blasting out music, the barmen said "its loud because we have been busy?.) In the early evening the music should be moderated and yes turn it up later if needed. It makes for an aggressive atmosphere and raises the noise level as every body is shouting. As a result of the disdain of the bar staff at our complaint we left. By now the Ram was deserted with the long bar very devoid of customers and staff. Its a shame but in a very short time the Ram has gone back to type which is why it had to be sold. God help you if you had booked for a romantic meal on Saturday I fear for its future unless it finds some direction and leadership.

We have been 3 times now for the Tapas dishes and they are cooked to perfection. There are plenty to choose from and all of them are great. The service here is extremely friendly and efficient. On the 3 visits we have had so far i can not pick one fault. We will definitely be returning. Our daughter also loves what is available on the menu. The tables by the fire make a nice touch.

Great Sunday lunch! We went early around 12:30 and there was lots of free tables. We all had a roast my children too. It was superb, cooked perfectly. The seervice was excellent and they couldn’t do enough. Very reasonably priced for such a good location and service. Can’t recommend enough.

We have been going in the RAM for a couple of years now, but since the new ownership it’s been a worry as to what the RAM now is! There doesn’t seem to be any atmosphere, no vision, no direction, no identity, no theme and its depressingly empty. It surely it can’t carry on with no customers; it would be real shame to see it close. There is so much potential with this place and yet nothing / no one seems to be pushing it forward. We went in on Saturday night about 10pm only to find more staff than customers and looking at the tables and bar, it had been like that all night. I only hope the new owners will try and do something: light the fire, dim some of the aircraft landing lights, put some music on and create a bit of atmosphere – try and attract some customers back in.

This was my daughters wedding reception venue mainly because it was over the road from the Registry Office at the Castle. The room we had was well set out and the staff very helpful. The room was I must say very very very hot, we did ask numerous time to open the windows and turn the aircon up but it remained very hot all night long.

The slow cooked braised beef was excellent and a good sized portion, spoilt only by the fact that it was served on a cold plate, I can't understand how a kitchen serving such good food doesn't at least warm the plates up, hot would have been even better.

We decided to go for lunch it was a special birthday there was a few of us, how ever the place was freezing we sat in coats, the food was ok not very warm and the portion sizes was very small to say it's not a cheep place to eat in.

We were surprised at how quiet the place was but there was plenty of room for us all and drinks were great as was the bar service. Nice decor. We didn’t eat here was price of food was pretty high but would expect the quality to be too.

We visited at the weekend and I have to say we were really disappointed with the service, quality of food and lack of food provisions for families. When we arrived we were given the menus and asked for the children’s menu to be told all dishes could be down sized for children as they did not have a kids menu.

After getting married in Newark Registry office, and getting some lovely photos in the castle grounds, we walked across the road to spend the afternoon with our small group of family and friends in the Ram. Felix and his team were lovely. Accommodating and patient and the 5 hours spent there were difficult to fault. His team were really helpful when we wanted to set up the private space just to the side of the main ding area, the day before, and on the day itself everything was great. Everyone enjoyed the food and we and our family and friends had a really special day. I would expect this to be on the shortlist for anyone who is getting married in Newark or the surrounding area. Thanks everyone. A day we will never forget.

Had a lovely lunch at The Ram. Very good food, I highly recommend the halloumi and avocado burger. Excellent chips and a delicious dessert of chocolate brownie bites with salted caramel sauce. The service was very good, attentive but not over the top. The facilities were spotless. Very pleasant outdoor seating area as well as a good layout of tables inside. Well worth a visit.

Our first visit and last ordered fish and chips they were soggy and horrible also had chilli dog and fries, the fries were soggy and inedible menu was very limited having complained to waitress who was nice to be fair agreed with our complaint and after having talked to chef they did not charge for our main meals.

I have slated this place in the past but I am pleased to now report that the Ram has changed hands and is now vastly improved. Gone is the load music,dirty tables and cigarette strewn beer garden which been cleaned up and now a pleasant place to sit. The staff are very attentive and want to please. On my recent visit they had table service and you could run a tab, very continental. I had a long conversation with Glen who is on the new management team and they have great plans over the coming months, and in the future hoping to open up the 18 bedrooms. It will take time but I am sure it will attract the right clientele and become a destination pub and meeting place once again

Whilst visiting Newark for a day out we took lunch in The Ram, this establishment has an air of elegance with good decor and a homely feeling. The lunch was good I had a burger with onion rings the best I’ve ever had with really good chips I meant to ask what variety of potato they use as they were very tasty. My wife had fish and chips which she too enjoyed. I did feel that it was a tad overpriced for lunchtime. We received a very friendly welcome, however I had only just got seated when the waitress wanted to take our drinks order, I had to ask her to come back in a few minutes when we had had the opportunity to decide. Apart from the price I would recommend The Ram and we would return if ever in Newark again.

Great food, excellent service from staff, couldn't be more helpful, didn't need to move from our seats, plenty of room for those with prams or chairs etc. The cheese board is amazingly good value and different biscuits made a nice change from the norm. We will definitely visit again soon, our new favourite!

Nice atmosphere and varied menu at reasonable prices, even for my fussy eater daughter and mother in law! I’ve been past during the evening and the clientele seemed very different. Nice for lunch, but in the evening, perhaps a different experience.

The Ram has recently been taken over. The food was delicious and well presented and the service was excellent.Lovely restrooms. Highly recommended.

My husband and I called in for lunch on a Friday in May. The place was dead. Food was terrible, my husbands scampi was of a very poor quality and my pizza was nothing more than a cheap frozen pizza I could have got from any freezer department in a cheap supermarket and cooked myself. Our lunch came with chips but they had run out of vinegar, are you serious??? Serving chips without the option of vinegar is unbelievable especially as they could have nipped out and brought some for pennies. The waitress was very polite and should have been working at a much better place than this.

Had a lovely meal with my partner here for our anniversary recently. We’d never eaten in the Ram before now. My husband had the ram burger which was absolutely delicious and I gave the wings a go even though I’m not usually the type for them! They were lovely. We were served by Elouise, she recommended a great sauvignon to us and nothing was too much for her. She really made our anniversary special. Will definitely be returning!!

Never had a Sunday dinner here before but definitely will again,so much on plate and with additional vegetables on side was well worth what we paid just for the homemade Yorkshire! Recomend the sticky chicken wings as a starter service also spot on lovely old pub with a modern twist jem in Newark.

Went a couple of weeks ago with friends - inc 5 year old nephew for Saturday lunch. Sat outside in the yard/garden so we could enjoy the weather and where the risk of a 5 year old causing problems for other diners reduced.

What a smashing bar with excellent choice of beer & ciders plus the Sunday lunch is excellent plus really friendly & helpful staff well worth a visit folks.

This is a lovely conversion, with lots of different spaces to eat or drink .

We've only lived in Newark for 18 montha and so are still working our way through the many restaurants in the town. Very good service, generous portions and cooked very nicely. We sat in the dining are on. Friday evening - nice space between the tables and a separation from the bar area. Clever use of screens so that diners are not disturbed by foot traffic to the WC and outside area at back. There was a live music act that started new us about halfway through our meal, but levels were set nicely so as not to be too loud. Plus we were asked personally if the sound was OK for us. Overall, a lovely meal and we will be back.

We ate in the evening earlier this week and all had different food. They coped amazingly well with one guest's very demaning Dr-required diet ... to the extent of going out to get some vegan cheese. The staff (young man and young New Zealander woman) were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. We'll definitely be back again and again!

The staff went out of their way to make sure they could provide me with a meal that suited my numerous dietary requirements - someone actually went out to buy some items they had run out of specially for me!

It's been nicely restored, can't comment on the food directly as have never eaten here, but from what I've seen, people seem happy with their snap!

We visited the ram this evening and was greeted by a staff member called Jonah who was very polite and professional, The customer service was brilliant and the ham egg and chips is definitely something to come back for.

Met with a friend to catch up over Sunday lunch. Quick and friendly service - it wasn’t very busy at all.

Called in for a lunchtime and evening drink on way to and from Southwell races. The building's been really nicely restored and the decor, comfy seating and wood burning stoves give it a really cosy feeling even though it's a huge place. Only had drinks so can't comment on the food. Staff were friendly and chatty too. Toilets were spotless and very luxurious - love the rhubarb soap and hand lotion! Will definitely go back there.

This pub is a good place for a few drinks with mates or a quiet drink as a couple. Unsure on the food, only drank there so far. Clearly spent a lot of effort to male the pub a little more modern and stylish. Wide variety of drinks, with a focus on gins and foreign lager.

Popped in for an evening meal whist in the area on business. Very helpful bar staff and had their tagliatelle. Very good and a substantial portion, had to leave some! A local meeting place with a relaxed feel.

It's such a lovely place to visit and staff are great, I just find when the fires are not on it's absolutely freezing to the point we went home and others said how cold it was.

Not just the food, the service but also the whole ambiance. The complete refurbishment (some time ago) was well worth it and has transformed the place into an open classy venue.

Visited The Ram for dinner with my Mum, arriving at around 5:30. We managed to find one table in the bar area but were told it was fine to sit there to order food, just take the table number to the bar when ordering. We didn't have starters as nothing jumped out at us, but ordered some bread and oils to share and the chicken with tarragon sauce with mash and mushrooms. When ordering the staff member seemed confused about our table, saying there was already a tab open - which there wasn't, not under our name anyway! Our breads were taken to the wrong table and the person who brought them just stood in the open space asking around the room who they were for. Our mains arrived around 40 minutes after the bread, which I wouldn't usually mind but we were the only table eating in our section and the restaurant area seemed more or less deserted. My main arrived with onion all over it, which wasn't stated on the description, as a onion hater this wasn't the most welcome sight! Also, the group next to our table were very loud, again, I wouldn't have minded if we were in the local Wetherspoons, paying their prices. I felt we should have been offered a table in the restaurant area which would have been much quieter so we could hear our own conversation instead of the one next to us! All in all an unfortunately disappointing experience!

We live in Australia and the booking process was straight forward, communication was clear and kept on top of by them. Eloise did an amazing job on the day looking after everyone - thank you Eloise. The food was commented on by all as very tasty.

Went to a wedding reception 5th January 2019 and I have to say it was fabulous. The food and service for the reception was excellent.

I visited with some work colleagues in mid December for our Christmas meal. The food was fantastic and it was a brilliant atmosphere. We would definitely return.

I went with my daughters and son in law on 16 December 2018. This was supposed to be a pre Christmas treat as one of my daughters wasn't going to be here at Christmas, but although we had booked a table for 1.30, it was 2pm before we were even asked for our order, and we then had to wait a whole hour before we were served. I know they were busy, but we had booked, and they seemed to be equally slow with everyone.Three of us ordered turkey, which I am convinced was actually pork- it wasn't like any turkey I've ever had, the vegetables were cold some of them undercooked, and the yorkshire pudding was burnt round the edges.One of my daughters is vegan, but she had to keep checking that the potatoes, gravy etc actually were vegan (they put a non vegan yorkshire on her plate which then had to be removed- another wait). Two of us had dessert (Christmas pudding), which again was disappointing, and at the end I had to wait ages for the bill (which they presented to my son in law, as he was the only man,despite me being the one who had asked for it!)The staff were sooo slow, and the whole experience was such a disappointment, I would NEVER go there again. The people who posted good reviews were obviously a lot luckier than we were! Normally I leave a tip, but this time I didn't, that's how bad it was!

Unfortunately the meal was a real disapointment. I ordered pate which was a very sloppy consistency not something I have experienced previously. When the main meal arrived we all waited the the vegetables to arrive all we got was a few bowls of Brussels. Those of us who ordered the turkey had potatoes on the plate and a slither of carrot others had no vegetables at all. A colleague asked about the stuffing as it was Christmas dinner and was told quite curtly it was not on the menu. It took along time for everyone to get there meals as only one person serving. To cap it all it was only luke warm. Prior to the meal at the bar they only had one till on which took far to long to process everyone's drinks. Overall a very disappointing experience.

The Ram became our new wedding reception venue due to unforeseen circumstances which meant that our original choice was no longer available only one week prior to the wedding

A group of 10 of us booked and ate our Festive work meal here, we were situated near to the female toilets with ornate wooden patricians. The service was excellent and the food was well presented and tasted just as good, plenty of attentive staff to ensure the drinks kept coming. Decent length of time between each courses and a decent price as well.

A large bar with restaurant area. Ample seating whether you’re on your own or with a party of friends. There’s a good selection of drinks with prices about average. It’s usually quiet from mid day to late afternoon but gets busy in the evenings.

First time I have been here and not impressed. We went for Xmas meal with work. Service was ok, did feel at one point one of the waiters was feeling quite stressed. Soup was too spicy and cold. Main meal came out warm, roast potatoes and Brussels sprouts needed an axe saw to cut them with. One was over cooked and burnt , the other was undercooked. No pigs in blankets as was on menu on some plates. Xmas pudding... well . Would of been embarrassed to serve that. Such a minute little piece in such a huge dish. One of the puddings, gold cups. If you are a non alcoholic drinking person, do not have this pudding... it has vodka in it.

Attended a retirement meal - couldn’t find the room it was in to start, given flat coke. Starter was very tasty but unfortunately the best part of the meal. The Moby Dick fish was tasteless and the creme brûlée was curdled. I have never been so disappointed in a meal in all my life. It was overpriced for the quality we received and what’s more - on contacting the manager to advise that a number of the retirement party we were part of fell ill after eating there over the weekend they refused to accept responsibility. Not responding for over a week to then request doctors findings. The steak although supposedly cooked medium was bleeding in parts, chips were rank too.

Went for a retirement meal for around 50 people which we were all looking forward to booked a few months ago. The room was set out well. The food though was very disappointing. Steaks were all the same cooked medium and presentation not considered. Unfortunately my partner spent the following day with a bad upset stomach with sickness and diarrhoea and on returning to work today it seems numerous people have been suffering from the same symptoms. It seems that it was not specific to one meal either.There was also a shortage of bar staff. Between us all there was a lot of money spent amongst decent friendly people, and to finish the night off the gorilla of a doorman intimidately came in and rudely made it clear we had to leave. There are polite ways to get people to leave and this was not one of them. We will not be returning as there are much better fasciitis in and around the Newark area.

We came for a lovely meal out here to celebrate our anniversary and it did not disappoint. The food was lovely and really high quality, and presented really well. The manager waited on us and nothing was too much trouble - we felt really looked after. Loved the selection of Gins too. Will definitely be back!

Went here on Saturday night for a 25th Wedding Anniversary dinner along with 15 others. This was planned months in advance.

Great place to relax lots of different seating areas used to really like going in to the Ram for there selection of real ales unfortunately the last few visits have been very disappointing the choice of real ale gets less and the quality a bit poor. Appears the Ram is focusing more on the cocktails market.

I've been to The Ram many times and today when I went with some work colleagues the service was terrible. Thirty minutes after ordering bread and olives, I had to go and ask where they were. They arrived at once but without cutlery and napkins. My colleague's food didn't arrive even though we ordered everything at the same time so 10 minutes later we had to ask again. When the food (2 portions of tempura vegetables) finally arrived it wasn't very good. I don't think I'll be going back again.

We chose The Ram for our wedding breakfast meal in August. We had 60+ guests and hired the upstairs for a set meal. The staff were impeccable with the service of food and drinks, the food was delicious and the room was presented beautifully.

Good value meals in a pleasant and spacious pub, with some excellent beers. Log fires in winter make it cosy despite the size. Staff are pleasant and quick.

Second visit in recent weeks. First time was very good but this time was a total put off. Ordered burgers, not too difficult one would assume! After 45 mins went to the bar to ask where our food was and were told a few minutes. The burgers arrived 5 or so minutes later and were cooked to death, dry and tough! Unlike the previous visit when they were moist and slightly pink. Given the price was on the high side and no one even checked to ask if everything was OK I would suggest that you be careful before going here

Well back to the Ram for the third time for lunch.

We have eaten here with friends and family on many occasions and always been impressed with the food, and because of our past experience we were looking forward to another lovely evening. Sadly this wasn’t to be. We had booked a table as in the past it’s been so busy. Last night there were no other diners when we arrived, we asked if there was a specials board and told there wasn’t so selected something from the menu. Our friend is a vegetarian and asked for the veggie burger. After a while the member of staff who had taken our order came to inform us there were no veggie burgers left. When asked what other vegetarian options were available she was told they had salads! She said she didn’t want a salad and the member of staff said she would go and see what else they could do. She returned to inform us she could have a veggie burger. Another 10 minutes passed and she was back again to tell us the charcoal bun that should come with the Ram burgers we had ordered were no longer available and they hadn’t got round to changing the menu, was this ok? Well we didn’t have a lot of choice really. The food eventually arrived, bearing in mind we were the only diners. It was ok, we’ve had better and also had worse. We then ordered pudding. After approx 10-15 minutes our server came back to us, looking very apologetic, again, to inform us we couldn’t have pudding as the chef had left. It was 20:45. I wish now I had gone with my instinct when told they had no veggie burgers and left to go elsewhere. She asked what she could do and we just asked for the bill and as a compensation she remove the drinks, which she did.

Lunch here today or that was our intention

Very good food and fantastic place for drink. The pub area with proper wooden tables and the fire place was my favourite in this restaurant. And they offer very good food, too. Wild boar burger was delicious.

I need to start off by saying the food was - when it eventually arrived - actually pretty good. However, service to the restaurant area was, to our table at least, very slow; long waits for food and even cutlery to eat the food with. I feel the Ram is trying to be all things to all people....they are trying for an up-market food service and at the same time serving rowdy people at the bar - the noise at times was pretty much like a town public bar. At almost £150 for four lunches they need a quieter area for diners, avoiding the crowds coming in for lots of beers. If the Floor Manager was a slightly older staff member than the rest...he neither welcomed us or came near our table to check things were OK. This place could be really excellent if they could somehow separate the two service areas.

I pre-booked The Ram for a family lunch to celebrate a birthday. Overall I was very disappointed with the experience. From arriving the bar staff were slow and not in the least enthusiastic to serve me. The venue itself is very nice and we were seated in the ‘restaurant’, yet this is only sectioned off from the bar itself. On the day we attended there was a very rowdy and loud/drunk group of men making a scene constantly back and forth from the beer garden to the bar and we found our experience less that enjoyable. We had a few different members of staff serve us albeit very haphazardly as I had to go up to the bar to order our wine and request extra cutlery for my main meal. There is a long wait for food but the starters were fine, my only complaint was that we had asked for the mayonnaise’s to be served separately and were told that these would come in pots yet these were actually served all over the starters.
