The service was brillant! We love being here!

We visit regularly and yesterday had the worst service I've experienced at any pub.2 staff members were having a very loud conversation at the bar with a lot of swearing and were ignoring customers and laving dirty glasses on tables for so long we eventually took them to the bar ourselves. If a young guy with dark hair and a moustache, and a young blonde girl are working then run because you will get zero service from them!! Very disappointed but found another lovely pub to frequent instead.

Wonderful location, nice atmosphere and super food. Impressive range of beers and the sticky beef cheek flatbread with wasabi mayo was delicious 😋. The staff were exceptional, especially, Isabel who was very charming and extremely attentive.

Top class Service ,, I am a regular customer and Always the manager Anna makes sure I am served well .. I also witnessed her comforting other customer and making dure sure the pub and the garden very well cleaned..I can not fault . Recommended

An amazing place with traditional atmosphere of England, a spirit of life by the river. Absolutely tasty beer and cider. Thanks to all friendly staff for time spending there in nowadays busy life.

Review: Ram Pub Steak Sandwich – wow! The steak sandwich at the Ram Pub is nothing short of extraordinary. Not sure whether to order it as pub steak sandwiches have often let me down . But from the first bite it was clear that this wasn’t your average steak sandwich. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender and juicy, with every bite seemingly melting in my mouth. It’s rare to find a sandwich where the steak holds its own, but this one absolutely shines. What stood out most was the quality of the steak itself. It wasn’t chewy or tough like most pub sandwiches can be; instead, it was as if the steak had been carefully chosen and expertly prepared. Each bite was packed with flavor, making it a truly memorable sandwich experience. If you’re a steak lover or just someone who appreciates a well-crafted sandwich, the Ram Pub’s steak sandwich is a must-try. Little pub in the middle of Kingston, my boyfriend and I both had the burger, very tasty and juicy. Service on point too!

Saturday evening, approx 10 to 7; lucky to walk in & find a dining table free instantly, despite 2 large tables reserved for a party. This is a lovely pub, very comfortable seats, & nicely decked out. Not too noisy either; conversation was not a strain here (as it can be in some places where music, & therefore clientele, can get too loud). Very friendly service, good prices &, more importantly, most excellent food! We shared the aromatic 'ssamjang' mushroom on crumpet starter, & both chose the Malabar monkfish & prawn curry, with a shared buttered sweetheart cabbage accompaniment - all absolutely delicious; curry not too hot, & perfectly sized portions. Particularly excellent for me was to find dishes made without dairy milk but not having to choose the vegan option. We didn't notice any dessert menu but with the wonderful taste of the curry, & the memory of the sauce the mushrooms in the starter was cooked in, both lingering on our tastebuds, we didn't want anything else. Anna was such a lovely attentive host with the food & at the bar, + allowing me an extra slug of elderflower cordial when I confessed to liking it strong. I had chosen this pub for food based on an online menu I'd seen, & although a particular interesting dish was no longer on the menu, this didn't matter a bit as the choices were fine, & it's good to know that the menu is updated for variety. We're thinking of coming back again for the Christmas menu, & neither of us live in the vicinity (we were in Kingston for the theatre, from way north of the river). Definitely worth travelling for, & Kingston upon Thames is lovely to walk around anyway.

Anna was brilliant! She went out of her way to find us a nice table when they were very busy. The food was lovely too.

We had the best Sunday Roast porchetta, was so amazing I’ve even ate the kale! so tasty and perfectly cooked! Mariana was fantastic, super knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. She gave great recommendations that made the meal even better. We'll definitely be back!

Fun atmosphere and great view just by the river

such a lovely pub with a great atmosphere perfect to have a catch up in ! the staff were all extremely helpful, we were helped at the bar by george who gave some good wine recommendations.

Stopped for drinks whilst boating asking the river. Clean pub, nice toilets and fab garden right in the river. Close to Hampton court palace.

We had lunch at the Ram on a Bank Holiday Monday. We managed to si outdoor, which was lovely. I had the avocado, salmon and mango salad - a bit small, but it was just a starter -but delicius. Mum had the fish and chips which was really good too. Mariana was very nice and attentive, and we had a great time :)

Never had the food but I meet a friend here regularly for a couple of drinks. Service is always friendly and staff are always pleasant. The atmosphere is so cosy and lovely, I recommend this place if you’re meeting friends/family or even going by yourself!

We had the vegan options on the menu and all have been very tasty. It was fairly busy but still we did not wait long to be served. Food and drinks have been served fast. The overall food was in a better quality than regular pub food. We will definitely be back again

Lovely place, friendly staff. Good outdoors seating area however need to make more people aware that the outside (above the wooden outdoors area) is technically ‘woodys’ and not theirs, as I went here for a friends birthday in the outside area, wasn’t told about it as we bought drinks and sat there. Ultimately we got removed from the area (woodys top area) which ruined the evening for my friends birthday.

Had a great time, the bartender Ella made our day by putting shamrocks in our Guinness!! Would come again just for that! :))

I am a long time resident of Kingston and I must say that the Ram is one of the best pubs in town, hands down! Their selection of beers on draft is outstanding and the food is absolutely amazing, giving some of the pricier options around the area a run for their money. Marianna from the staff was incredible! Her attention to detail, friendliness and professionalism is a credit to the organisation and her cheerful and welcoming spirit makes this a pub I want to visit again and again. There are not enough good things I can say about the Ram, but do have a look at their weekly specials! Excellent value for money! Five star all the way!

This place is amazing. A escape from the city overlooking the river bank on one side and a life of sweet hope of chaos on the other. The live music no doubt is one of the highlights of the evening where The Great Woody Wasey is performing. Sam one of the Bar Attendant 👏 👌 🫡. Good service bro. And the manager - she was welcoming. All the bar crew are brilliant. I'll recommend this place for your own escape.

I recently visited The Ram pub and had an exceptional experience! Mariana, the supervisor, was incredibly professional and accommodating, ensuring every detail of my visit was perfect. This place was definitely my favorite burger of all time, I’m from California and this burger was amazing. As well as my family’s Fish and chips and the salad they Got. This place is a gem and definitely my favorite place to go too . The service was good but at time they were maybe stressed and maybe we hit them at the wrong time but that’s my only complaint. A+ for everything

Lovely staff, amazing food. I come back here every weekend with my family for the roast dinners. Perfect Yorkshire puddings everytime.

It has a nice selection of Beers. I had a burger and chips it was delicious my friend had fish and chips and it was so good that she ordered a second portion. 10/10 would totally recommend and go again.

Nice little pub, which backs onto the Thames, with a large array of outside seating. Good selection of normal and craft beers, staff have always been friendly/helpful. Live music every so often!

Been here a number of times and the beer selection is always excellent and served promptly. With a terrace at the back that goes all the way to the Thames it's always a popular location especially when warm.

Nice place but the fish and chips is quite bad. It's not crispy and the batter seems thick as well, it all kind of mushes together when you try and cut it, falls apart when you eat it. The chicken sandwich was on point so I'll give two stars but given the fish and chips were twice the price I felt compelled to let you know.

Would give zero stars if could. Manager on duty lies to say Asahi is not available, yet then another member of staff pours one. Promotion via Greene King gave a voucher, and she is actively not accepting by lying. Fair enough if was honest, but Greene King / Metropolitan Pub Co are to be made aware. Bad business practice.

Went to ram today, very good service

Had a Sunday Roast which was good, quiet pub allowing an easy chance to get a good roast

5 staff and you have to allow 4 to walk past you till you get served and then it's still slow...

The experience is flawless, the staff is exceptional, always welcoming with warm smiles, and ART entertains us with his delightful humor.

2 pints of coke were just under £10! Charming little pub but the toilet smell sadly fills the whole pub.

Really nice pub alongside the Kingston River. Massive seating area and outdoor area is perfect for those summer days. I went on a Friday night, and they had live music. Very friendly attentive staff and good selection of pints. Look forward to coming back in the summer :-)

The Ram is my favourite pub in Kingston. Really nice food, a wide selection of beers and really decent wine by the glass. When the weather is fine you can sit outside and take in the river ambiance.

The pub was in a good location. We went in when it was quiet. Ordered fish and chips for an adult and kid, had to wait for 45mins and asked 2x for the food before finally got the food. The sauce in the side was cold, asked to warm it up but still cold after. Quite a disappointing experience.

Great tucked away gem. Low lighting, dining set out well with some nice private spots. Good design layout. Situated right next to the river Thames. Lovely beer garden that I suspect is “Ram ed” in the summer… Staff are really friendly and promote the options well. Will definitely be heading back to this place.

Went there for mothers day lunch. We had crayfish and prawns and roast lamb but had to order another bowl of roasted potatoes because there was not enough on the plate. We also had lemon meringue which was very nice and Pinot wine which was lovely.

Food was mid. Service left much to be desired. Price too high for what we were served. If you’re in the area, you’re better off heading over to Wetherspoon.
