The Raj Indian - Chain Lane in St. Helens

Not had a takeaway from here in a while, had lamb takeaway shashlik, with pathia sauce made vindaloo hot, chilli and garlic naan, could not fault anything. The curry was perfectly hot, the lamb tikka was perfect. Could not recommend highly enough

Ordered over Just Eat, food arrived cold, when I contacted to let them know they all but said I was lying, basically there weren’t interested, they told me to contact just eat as they where to busy, we have used them in the past and the food has been hit and miss, but all I can say is from now avoid, I have contacted just eat and I’m awaiting a reply

Worst Indian takeaway in st helens peeps. Boiled food with no actual flavours, shame on the chef and the takeaway its false advertising and rubbish. I've had better curries in my local chippy. I'll be going back to Vindaloo.

We ordered food in the week , the best indian food we have had in st Helen's. Ordered food sat night waited an hour rang n said cant deliver. Gutted and disappointed. 8 miles down road said would take 45mins each way. Might be crap at maths but dont add up in my book . Driver obviously drives 2 mile an hour 😫

If you want an amazing Indian, you MUST eat here. Its a take away where you can collect or get a delivery. No other Indians compare to here!!! Everything is fresh and hot on arrival. I have never been let down.

We ordered our food over the phone. The order was ready on the pick up time we had been given. The food was good. It seemed fresh. The people behind the counter are always pleasant. I have used several times. You can see them cooking it.

Was genuinely disappointed tonight this is the only curry place we have used since moving to st Helen's 5 years ago and I'll never come back again food was an hour and a half late when it arrived the starters where brilliant chicken tikka starter a little dry but not the end of the world when we got to the curry it was full of salt and inedible completely ruined the first night I have spent with my family in 3 weeks took me about 5 phone calls to find out where our food was then when I complained I got offered half the money back (we sent the food back when the driver came with the chips he forgot ) after a argument on the phone they delivered £20 back to us real let down and in complete denial when you complain about quality says he has been doing it 17 years and his food is brilliant
