The Raha Cafe in Birmingham

My office’s go-to place for our lunch!! Lovely little cafe with great food at very reasonable prices. Staff are very friendly & has a lovely atmosphere inside. :-)

this Cafe is so lovely, would highly recommend going for breakfast- good choice of drinks and great tasting food for a good price. The service and cafe itself are also really lovely- never had anything but a great experience here. Also really good that everything’s halal (except the bacon)

El viernes por la mañana hice un pedido por teléfono para un "DESAYUNO HALAL" cuando volví a mi oficina y abrí el contenedor de aluminio debajo de mi huevo, pude ver un pequeño pedazo de algo que levanté, ¡había BACON debajo! ! ! ! ! ! ! Estaba disgustado y muy decepcionado, cuando llamé al café para confrontarlos, el hombre se disculpó diciendo que tenía 2 órdenes y me dio la equivocada. Dije que no es lo suficientemente bueno, dijo que había estado ocupado. No parecía demasiado preocupado por lo que había sucedido y se reía mientras hablaba conmigo. Envió a alguien a recogerme el pedido y me dio el correcto, pero he perdido mi confianza en el café y estoy muy desanimado por lo que sucedió. No volveré allí de nuevo. ¡HA PERDIDO UN CLIENTE REGULAR!

Entré a tomar un café mientras esperaba una reunión y me alegro mucho de haberlo hecho. Maravilloso servicio rápido y una gran taza de café. No comí allí, pero estaba lleno y la comida parecía increíble, todo muy fresco y muy bien presentado.

El café se abrió tarde. Intentamos pedir pero nos dijeron que esperáramos. Luego, el propietario atendió primero a las personas que estaban detrás de nosotros. Partidista a los miembros de la comunidad iraní. No vayas.

large breakfast for £5 cant go wrong, near to offices and hotel and a convenient walk as well. Friendly manager.

got a veggy breakfast everything was shoved in a plastic tub so the sausages and burger were soggy and falling apart from the water coming out the mushrooms it was all soaking wet n nasty. also the pasta was dry and horrible rate it a 1/10 wont eat here again

Thank you for the very prompt delivery. Salt, pepper and perhaps sachets of vinegar/ ketchup would have been nice to compliment the jacket potatoes and fried eggs. Anyway the rest was good. Thanks

We ordered 2 large breakfast strawberry milkshake and coffee. My first breakfast that I ordered online very cheap and it was outstanding delicious and price was great. The strawberry milkshake is like heaven creamy and thick. I really recommend this cafe if u want good healthy breakfast.

Orange juice was great but £3 for a small coffee cup of juice? Overpriced. Coffee was terrible. Milkshake wasn't particularly nice either. Breakfasts were perfect though and the lovely delivery guy too.

Large cooked breakfast for less than £5. Very good it was too 😊. Also had a vanilla milkshake made with ice cream. Obviously no calories in any of that!!!

Very concern about the order ... It's either the sausages were vegetarian (I was vegetarian for 5 years before , so I know the taste ) instead of normal or cooked to death till no flavour was left . Asked in the note to make a scrumble egg in one of the breakfast and received a normal fried egg mush ? Clearly person who made it had no idea what is a scrumble egg . Portions are also very small comparing to the other breakfast places . That "killed " me at the end was the amount of butter putted on the bread . The thinnest layer of butter ever you can imagine just in the middle of the bread , speared that little that you can actually see bread being ripped ...I know you need to save every penny in business , but mate , how some more respect for your place . All in al , taste okish if you are hungry , but not nice generally .not ordering again

Put a note on booking relating to order which was ignored. Food wasn't good at all and most of it went in the bin. Sorry guys was disappointed.

unfortunately wasn't to the standards i required.. its a individual choice.. no milk in coffee, jacket patatoe wasn't fully cooked no salt for food or milk added for coffee.. think with this kinda food eat in is better

Paid for extra toasts & they didn't deliver them, when I phoned up, I was told to leave a review. Having ordered from them around 6/7 times, they've only got my order exactly right, just once.

I put a note saying no mushrooms and no tomatoes but still came with them I also ordered and payed for a Diet Coke which was missing when I phoned was a bit hard to understand all I could make out was leave a review and we will get back to you ????????

Ordered a Large and Small Breakfast and received 2 breakfasts of the same size. There was no cutlery no tissue at all. The bacon was under cooked and baked beans was minimum. I demand a full refund.

Lid on breakfast was upside down so there was red ink over the eggs, the driver knocked over our milkshakes in his car and kindly said he would bring us new ones.. 2 hours later we had some lovely milkshakes. Food is actually really nice, shame about the service

Horrible customer service. Cannot eat cheese & never requested for cheese on jacket potatoes - refused to send correct order and the milkshake was disgusting. Delivery time was good however. . Requested to speak to manager but they hung up. Order at your own risk, just know when they send you rubbish that you can't complain.

The food was only just warm.... The large breakfast was small with no toast and the delivery man was rude and unprepared with no change! He seemed annoyed that I DoD mot have change! The milkshake had cream on when I did not ask for cream. Will not order again

Breakfast was a little greasy but good. Toast was just bread and butter. Came a lot quicker than expected though however and fairly priced.

Disappointed is an understatement. I appreciate that my apartment isn't the easiest place to find but I gave clear directions in the notes and they were obviously ignored. What I got was a phone call from the delivery driver who could barely understand English or speak it. I couldn't decipher what he was trying to say or where he actually was with my food. He hung up on me and so I phoned the business, who answered but then didn't talk to me, rather I was left to listen to them talking to someone else for some time. After waiting until they were no longer occupied, I managed to tell them about the situation and they simply asked me what it was that I expected them to do if their driver couldn't find me?! I asked them to try and communicate to the driver the original directions I'd sent, they then said they'd phone him and phone me back. That didn't happen. After having no luck there, I then phoned the driver back and managed to figure that he was close by. He wouldn't come any nearer to my apartment so I had to go out and meet him, where he was was about a five minute walk from my place. Not idyllic given that I'm unwell, needed rest and the food was meant to be a treat. By the time I'd received it, it was cold and I couldn't enjoy it. I feel like I've wasted my money. Other drivers have found my place just fine with my directions and I've never had to walk so far to get something that should be delivered to your door. Won't be ordering again.

After reading some of the low star reviews for this takeaway I wasn't expecting the best however we were pleasantly surprised! The food was delivered sooner than estimated (on ASAP delivery time setting) and the food was very tasty! My mum was the one who collected the delivery from outside our hotel and she said the delivery man was extremely friendly and they had even drawn smiley faces on our food boxes! Very impressed :)

This part of Hagley Road not well served for a quick bite to eat and this is about parr for the course. Decor a bit DIY wooden panelled seat with booths, outdoor decking. Choice of salad, burgers, panini, baguettes. All freshly made. Food is average. Clean and tidy. Nice staff. Usually quite a long wait. Prices as expected. Just not inspiring or unique. I am usually to self-conscious to eat in here in case I am spotted as not the same as an upmarket cafe. Lacks style and panache. I am sure food is OK and wholesome however.

The food was absolutely disgusting the sausages tasted uncooked and had a bad smell, the mushrooms had just been soaked in abit of butter and the eggs were grey and uncooked too. The tomato just looked as if it was out of date and the crusts on the toasts were like rock. The carrot juice tasted very unpleasant too with a horrible taste. Horrible experience. Took two and a half hours for the food to be delivered. We were told it would be delivered at 12.30 originally (after ordering it at 11.45) but this was then changed til 13.20 but the food didn't arrive til 14.25. We spoke to the cafe four times on the phone before it was finally delivered. We paid the same price and received no extras for the inconvenience (even though we were informed we would receive extras). Ordering with this restaurant was just hassle from start to finish - food was okay but definitely not worth the wait (was also only luke warm when it arrived)

Really nicely run. Phoned to raise sensible early issues and offer alternatives if required (in my case like a jacket potato being cooked fresh so will take a 40mins for which I was happy to wait).

If your allergic to anything stay away from this place as they ignore any note you leave and will get order completely wrong by ignoring notes and I paid for items thats havent been delivered. They use to offer a good service but now it seems their quality has gone way down hill, maybe new staff/management. Spoilt breakfast that I was looking forward to due to lack of attention to reading a short note. Wont be ordering from here again and advise everyone to go else where.

I always drive past raha's so this morning i went to this nice small cafe for breakfast just to see what it was like... To be onest i was really happy with the whole experience, very rustic athmosphere and the staff where really friendly the food is good quality and they even have some outiside seating overall good!

Turned up late, asked for sauce which was not provided. Food was cold. Reluctant to order again.

Ordered full English breakfast, as just missed the time for breakfast in another well known fast food shop, and I am so glad I did. Freshly squeezed blood orange juice, all the usual trimmings for a full English breakfast and humongous hash browns, perfect solution to a morning after the night before!

Rubbish waited two hours for delivery!

I order from here all the time, it's brilliant and really fast delivery. Definitely recommend!
