Excellent local pub with friendly landlady and regulars

Good beer and reasonably priced. Friendly staff. TVs in bars for sport. A basic but friendly pub.

Nice place for a pint and watch football Dog friendly too

No food is served here but the drinks are a good price and staff are helpfull.

On holiday and went for the Euros final, great atmosphere, great staff. Made to feel welcome and prices were good.

Nice pub on the outskirts of Torquay. Parking available outside. The beer garden is huge with lots of tables. The service is really good and can cater for large crowds of people. No children allowed, but it’s not somewhere you would expect to take children. Cheap drinks too. Dart board available and pool table and music is played.

The atmosphere was good and I felt comfortable having a drink

We stayed at parkdean resort very expensive for drinks, so we went to Prince of orange just a 15 minute walk with a taxi back. Lovely land lady and land lord. Staff brilliant Kirsty and Karen, not forgetting Ben, sorry I dont know the new girls name but she was brilliant. Will definitely visit if in the area. X

I’m in utter shock! I walked in to the bar where I was rudely called to the side to tell me I can’t bring kids in the pub. With no explanation we were asked to leave back into the pouring rain. The pub had a funny stench and looked like everyone in there either knew each other romantically or biologically (or both).

Popped in as had a half hour wait before getting a haircut across the road. Super unwelcoming and won't be coming back...

We stayed at park dean which was expensive for drinks so on the first night we made our way to this pub and went ever night except one when we stayed in Plymouth it was a very welcoming pub with George who winds the locals up if I go back I would go back for a pint very friendly

Very efficient barmaid, excellent ale at a very good price, pool team very friendly, good clean toilets. Impossible to find a fault with the pub, well done Prince of Orange.

Always been a great and real pub!

Very disappointed, why have a picture on Google of play equipment in the garden when children aren't even allowed. The staff were quite rude whilst informing us that no children were allowed. Won't be returning.

Visited on a friday afternoon by lovely young lady who managed to serve at least 25 thirsty chaps and collect all the glasses inside and outside and clean up on her own well done

Very clicky pub, felt very unwelcome. We would have spent the day at the pub, all 7 of us and spent quite a bit on drinks. But because we had kids with us we were banished to the beer garden with a comment form the bar staff "did you know that kids aren't allowed " erm no we didn't! They were the last time we went a few years ago! Must be new owners or bad staff training. We won't be going there again.

Finally popped in for a drink, living nearby for a couple of years. Big and spacious, friendly staff....even when wearing football colours. Definitely will visit more regularly.

Quick service, good atmosphere, clean lines. Shame it's s not a kid inclusive pub anymore though as that was so so popular. That sentiment is echoed by many locals too. Can't complain about my service however.

Only went in to have a quick drink and call a taxi to somewhere more lively. However, it was really busy with the popular Vinyl Avengers disco in the back room playing some cracking tunes from the 60s on. Including some brilliant Northern Soul classics. We drank a few and danced most of the night. We only left when they closed the doors.

Excellent local pub, very warm, friendly and welcoming. Lovely staff. Darts, Pool, Sports on TV. Great beers, lagers, wines and spirits. Also with some fine entertainment!

Strange place garden has various tables and chairs full of ash and bird poo plus lots of crisp packets Had an hour before told that our 12 yo isn’t allowed I. The pub only garden So remaining experience was in freezing poo ash garden Strange cold unwanted feeling for a normal family who wanted a couple of drinks and a family meal Won’t ever use again

as we walked in two old men where speaking about excrement and toilet matter got greeted by the bar man to be turned away and too be discriminated against as I’m 16 with my mother and father doesn’t sign post anywhere that 16 and unders weren’t allowed this was a terrible experience and this pub will never have the pleasure of our company, business or money i recommend steering clear of this unwelcoming environment didn’t even have the chance to ask for a soft drink menu felt ill and uncomfortable upon walking through the door do not take youre family there this was early afternoon absolutely vile

I visited this establishment this afternoon with my partner and 16 year old son. We were actually looking to buy food and have a soft drink. Upon walking in there there were 2 elderly men speaking very loudly about fetal matter and there toilet habits and how it puts people off (well , I was certainly put off!) We sat down in the beer garden which had a capacity for about 10 people but including myself my partner and son there was probaby the total of 6 people. My partner and son went inside to ask to view food menu and to ask what soft drinks were available. The bar man interrupted my partner saying... No! No! (Before my partner had even finished his sentance) we don't have kids in here or outside at all and was told not asked to leave! I was beyond shocked. This pub expresses thanks to the NHS and key workers. I am a nurse who works for the NHS so I was looking forward to having a nice break with my family but we were met with rudeness no customer service. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially those with a family. I will 100% never give this awful place my custom

First time I've been in in a few years and it's been totally transformed... Used to be a bit of a dive and a bit rough but it's now warm, clean, friendly, and comfortable, very covid aware too, a well run and nice place.

For everyone saying they wouldn’t let kids in even though they have a play area? The play area was removed 3 years ago!!!, and as for food the prince has not done food for 3 years?? Since craft union took over the pub? And with a pandemic going around who wants to take children into a pub? There is clearly signs outside saying No under 18s?? All the locals know this? Maybe find out more about the pub you are entering before slagging it off on reviews and making your self look stupid?

Place is a Joke claims to be a kid friendly pub but due to government guidelines not letting kids in. We wanted a quick drink and food. Get a grip what guidelines say no kids.

Went down to watch the FA Cup final. Went in through the one way system. Then scanned in for track and trace with a QR code. Staff were really friendly and a good atmosphere.

I don't go to this place very often but each time I have been there there never seems to be anyone behind the bar and for a lengthy period of time. It is clean and this includes the toilets and the staff,when they are behind the bar are polite and friendly . I can't speak for the food.It could be a decent local pub
