The Prince Consort in Eastleigh

Unfortunately, I had a rather disappointing experience whilst having Sunday lunch with my family. A very rude and abrupt young waitress who's name I didn't catch wearing glasses with brown hair gave me and my family awful attitude with a face of thunder. Clearly didn't want to be there. Bossing around the other young staff members acting like a bully. Making the whole atmosphere feel uncomfortable. Then to make matters worse when the food came it was cold with extremely dry meat and hard vegetables. To say the least I was dissatisfied with my experience at The Prince Consort and won't be advising anyone to go there any time soon.

Met up with friends and it was amazing. We hadn’t reserved a table which was a mistake as they were full, but we were able to order and eat in beer garden at rear of pub. Staff were very helpful. Food was brilliant. We will definitely be going again

Five of us went for an early dinner in here. Young waitress was rude from the start. Threw the menus on the table, like she didn't want to be there. Brought the wrong drinks out and then told one of our party off for getting condiments from another table, not what you want when you come for dinner. The food all came out hot and was pretty good for pub food.

Although it was not a typical tea room or street café: we could get a cup of coffee to warm up since it was raining dogs and cats outside. We know this place from a previous stay in their hotel.

Lovely place to eat, welcoming, food was fabulous, piping hot and plenty of it. Its not trying to be anything except a great place for a drink, a good home cooked style meal and a nice environment. We will return.

Had the Sunday roast beef was gorgeous vedg we're well cooked very enjoyable others had fish and chips burgers pasta chips and garlic mushrooms all cooked bueatiful desserts were scrummy and custard very creamy definitely the best pub food have had in long time all fresh and great value

5 ladies for lunch. I had fish chips and peas. Fish was haddock cooked to perfection in light crispy batter. Delicious! Hunters chicken, Scampy and a couple of cheesy melt bagettes and frys were ordered and enjoyed by everyone. Waitress was a gem. Friendly, informative and so good at her job.Overall lovely food excellent value. Will go back again.

Not a pub really trying to be a restaurant , souled ,miserable staff , young kids working behind the bar ,don’t look old enough , guess their cheap . Rude staff , a real miserable place , better going up the road to the plough

Food I had on both occasions has been good . Landlord is a drunk .a right miserable man . The pub also the restaurants ,which are two of ,one mainly bar type ,the other a separate restaurant . I will say the staff are very pleasant and polite . The food was passable ,I would,nt say it was great ,but reasonably priced . As said the landlord chef /chef is a very very rude man .he knows he’s the only pub in the area ,so thinks he can do what he likes

Stayed for one night pre cruise. Booked a twin room and was given room 1, one of the smallest rooms I have ever stayed in, so basic, like a hostel in a separate block to the pub. On the plus side the food, both dinner and breakfast were excellent. I am not sure if other rooms are the same but would not recommend this room but would eat and drink here again no problem.

If your going on a cruise or visiting Southampton I couldn't recommend this place enough. Its perfect if you are cruising and need a overnight stay. Its 15 minutes from all the ports. The rooms are clean and very well stocked (teas and coffees). The breakfast was very good (again, many choices). There's free parking. The price you'll pay is a fraction of what some bigger places charge and you get so much more here. We also had a evening meal. Very nice and reasonably priced. Will definitely use again.

We stayed here with our beagle Charlie and was made very welcome our room was clean and comfortable The car park was free, and the food was lovely The Pasta/prawn dish is a must to try! There was a sort walk to some beautiful views of the Solent and Victoria Park It was only 10 mins if that from the Red Funnel Definitely would stay again .

The Prince consort Hotel was most welcoming not the Ritz but a little gem and great value hotel I am a well seasoned traveller, having covered most of the world. My expectations are of a clean hotel, clean hotel room and a good nights sleep. Great food if available is an added bonus. My reviews are honest and truthful and speak as I find my experience. On arrival we were booked in very promptly by a very efficient young lady who was very polite and professional. This hotel is a pub with an accommodation block at the rear - meals are served within the main pub building. Our room was on the ground floor (room 4) and was a spacious twin bedrooms ground floor room which had been recently modernised with a rather nice ensuite shower room. As I mentioned it’s not the Ritz but a very comfortable hotel on the outskirts of Southampton which is very handy if you’re awaiting a cruise. We decided to have dinner at the hotel and we are very impressed by the service and quality of the food. My wife had a rump steak and I had a house special - the 10 ounce Gammon Steak. Both meals were cooked to perfection and the quality of the food was excellent, succulent and well presented. Our meal was accompanied by a nice bottle of Pinot Grigio rosé wine which was very reasonably price. We enjoyed an excellent Breakfast, cereals, orange, tea, coffee toast - my wife had poached eggs whilst I had a full English with poached eggs, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. All in all, a very enjoyable stay at an extremely reasonable price. Thoroughly recommend the Prince Consort Hotel. We will stay again - a big thank you to all the hard working staff.

Absolutely lovely food.ordered fish and chips ,and the beef burger.When it came it looked great and tasted even better!The batter on the fish was melt in your mouth type and the beef burger was absolutely moreish.All in all a great time was had,the staff very helpful and friendly,will definitely be going again soon

Yes the food is good. But the guy who runs it is just so rude for a landlord of this popular pub. I’m not going into what he’s like but all the locals know he’s rude. I don’t think the regular waitress is that pleasant...

stayed here after lockdown to visit family close by. Really easy check in. Our room was basic as expected with the restrictions in place but clean and well presented. I had asked for a kingsize bed but it was smaller than my kingsize bed but...

on a recent visit there is clearly a lack of investment in this pub, the entrance has cigarette butts all over the place, the facade needs painting. when we got inside the bar stools are torn, there are hand prints all over the toilet doors...

I have to say that the Boeuf Bourguignon was as good as it gets. It was superb. All four of us enjoyed the food, the variety and the service. Decoration and layout is a bit dated but overall a good experience

Nos alojamos aquí el 16 de noviembre como un grupo de 6 para la 40ª fiesta sorpresa de mis hermanos. Las habitaciones están muy limpias. TV, cafetera, tetera, ropa de cama y toallas limpias. Incluso tenía gel de ducha y champú fuera. Muy cálido y acogedor también. La comida excelente, el inglés completo definitivamente me llenó. Personal amable y educado. Una excelente estadía. Volvería de nuevo seguro.

Recientemente fuimos a este pub con unos amigos que conocimos en vacaciones. Era un lugar grande, pero no demasiado impresionante desde el exterior, y por dentro era como un café de transporte. Había muchas cervezas / cervezas de barril, pero afortunadamente algunas bombas manuales con algunas cervezas decentes. This was my first visit and it certainly won't be my last. My daughter and myself called in for a late lunch. She had the pork chop and I had the fish pie, both cooked perfectly and served with a selection of vegetables. Once I saw ginger sponge on the menu that became compulsory and was a good choice. It had many pieces of stem ginger in it and was served with custard. It's a very pleasant pub with an outside area for good weather days. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and pleasant. One person in there had their dog with them so it's obviously dog friendly.

Mi familia y yo solíamos visitar aquí varias veces al año cuando estábamos en el área, pero en una reciente visita los sábados a la hora de comer, la encontramos cerrada debido a un "evento musical". Con el ploughman's había un delicioso pan fresco y una ensalada de buen tamaño, cebollas en escabeche y un delicioso chutney. . . ¡Y tampoco se entretuvieron con el queso, que era muy moro!Más tarde, miembros de la familia se unieron a nosotros y comieron jamón, huevo y papas fritas que disfrutaron. ¡También notamos las comidas de otras personas que se veían bien! Cuando visite Southampton definitivamente volvería!

A very polite team, an excellent chicken burger with some secret mayo sauce on the homemade coleslaw topped with a Magners apple cider. Great tasting meals for two, thanks for the experience.

We picked this place because it was dog friendly and it did not disappoint, the staff were friendly and even helped put a ramp out for us to get in the front door as one of our party was in a wheelchair. The food was great, plenty of choice and the portions were big.

I wanted to take my son out for lunch somewhere nice where we could enjoy a conversation over some good food and drink. I wasn't disappointed. The food and service were excellent in every sense, including price. My only slight criticism was that the drinks were a bit on the pricey side, but the price of the food balanced that out. I would happily recommend this pub restaurant to anybody.

Llamé para el almuerzo del domingo, como estaba en el área y quería OH ver lo buena que era la comida para él (había comido allí hace un par de meses con amigos y nos quedamos todos impresionados la última vez) nos sentamos en el jardín bajo una muy una gran sombrilla que era un alivio para el sol. Elección muy amplia en el menú, pero OH y yo elegimos el asado lento de cerdo asado. La comida llegó rápidamente y estaba caliente.

Bonita zona de asientos al aire libre para el almuerzo. Un poco desgastado, pero no es un problema. Sabrosas hamburguesas y buen servicio. Simplemente actualice sus menús chicos, ya que dice que no sirve comida todo el día los viernes, así que nos quedamos. Aparte de eso todo bien. ¡Animo amigos!

Whilst visiting Newley, we popped into this great pub for a meal. What an amazing pub. Friendly, great service and a great meal. Amazing value for money. Highly recommend this very friendly establishment. Five stars all the way

Visited last week for Lunch and were very surprised at the extensive Menu and quality of the Food. The main Restaurant seemed to be closed for a Private Function and where we were seated was not inspiring but clean and tidy. The Food was Hot and well presented and very good value for money. Staff very helpful. We will return if back in the area.

The food is amazing. Best chunky chips in the area. I have stayed at the accommodation and it is value for money. Nice rooms.

Four of us visited this pub for lunch today - never been there before but as its a 40 minute walk from home along Weston Shore we decided to try it. Very lovely food and excellent service - will definately walk there again - worth every step!!

The Prince consort is dog friendly. A family meet up . We had ham egg and chips and scamp. Both were tasty and well cooked. The service was friendly and efficient. All a good basic pub.

Recibimos algunas buenas recomendaciones de amigos, así que reservamos una mesa para 12 personas en 1. 00 ish. La reforma ciertamente ha sido muy bien. es muy acogedor y evocador. El personal era muy educado y amable, y realmente nos cuidó muy bien. El servicio fue eficiente y rápido y la comida llegaba después de media hora, que no estaba mal, teniendo en cuenta que había 12 de nosotros. Tuve el ajo y chili gambas linguini seguido por una bola de helado de fresa. Estaba delicioso! ! Las raciones fueron muy generosos! Y mi pollo puerro y centros tenían tarta de verduras y salsa que elogiaron. Mi hijo mayor tenía una porción de adultos de pescado y patatas que él no podía terminar y mi hijo pequeño tenía pescado y patatas fritas que goujons me encantó. Fue un feliz tiempo lo mejor de la comida deliciosa y excelente ubicación. Gracias Prince Consort!

Visitamos el Príncipe consorte en una reciente visita a Netley Abbey. Tenía dos muy buenas comidas aquí - El menú era típica de un bar a precios razonables no demasiado caro con placas (como en pequeños minutos) comidas en el medio! Pan y aceitunas como pedimos un entrante de una comida en sí mismo! Uso de carne con salsa como principal - gran bistec perfectamente cocinado! Segunda visita: pescado y patatas fritas, agradable y fresca, no grasienta. Personal amable, buena selección de cervezas. Sin duda volveré la próxima vez que esté en las inmediaciones.

Decidimos visitar el Royal Victoria Park en Netley País recientemente, vistas sobre el agua y un montón de Southampton senderos para pasear en el parque (un poco de ferrocarril opera en los meses de verano). El pub más cercano, el Prince Regent está a una corta distancia a pie de la entrada del parque, así que decidimos almorzar allí, aparcamiento disponible.

If your wanting a classic pub with good service, great food, good selection of drinks this is the place to be. The prices are a little higher then some pubs but when you get the food and the drinks you dnt care as it is good quality and great customer service. Me n my partner love this little gem by the sea, its why we share it with all our friends as often as we can.

Came here for the 1st time on sunday 11th december you can not fault the food outstanding stunning infact but it lacks personal service had too ask for mint sauce and cranberry sauce never once did a member of staff ask how the meal was or if we wanted anymore drinks we had to ask staff but please try this place you can not knock the food just a shame on the service

I just have been in the pub. I have paid 11.95£ for Sea Bass and received mackerel fish instead. The chief is unprofessional cook or the owners treat customers like an idiots.

Nine of us had lunch here, and all enjoyed it. Fabulous selection on the menu, and all the meals ordered came together, even though everybody ordered different items. I had jumbo prawn curry which was as good as it gets! Two people had Dover Sole and both said it was excellent. All the other varied meals were also appreciated.We would all definitely visit the pub for meals again. A good choice!

Visited here for Sunday lunch. We really liked the fact you could choose from the extensive menu as well as from the Sunday specials. Food was really well priced ( Roast Beef £9.95) and portions were huge with a variety of seasonal vegetables. My Dad and husband were really impressed with the tasty ham, egg and chips. Service was friendly and decent drinks too. Highly recommended.

Had a family meal for 6, they catered to the needs of the children, it was good fast service, with really nice food. All the food arrived together, which is not always the case at some places when you have a bigger group.

The seating looks a bit old fashioned to me but they serve hot food all day long and it is dog and child friendly.

We stayed over night at The Prince Consort before a day's sailing experience in the Solent.Our room was very good value, clean, nicely appointed an quiet. Double beds are 4'6" but at this price I wouldn't expect more.We ate in the restaurant and were very impressed with the food that has a distinct Spanish influence. We shared a starter of gamba piccante and wish we'd had two portions. They were superb. For mains we had roast lamb and a Spanish style cod with chorizo. Both were excellent; freshly prepared and delicious. Sadly we were too full to sample the puddings but had good coffee followed by a good nights sleep. Breakfast was also excellent. Cereals, yoghurt, fruit juices and full english. The full english was freshly cooked took a little while to arrive but this is infinitely preferable to rather tired offerings in warming dishes.There is a very pleasant walk to be had from the pub. Head west towards Netley Abbey, then take the new cycle/walkway through to a headland, go down onto the beach and head back east until you reach a sailing school and can climb back up to road. You will then find yourself just a hundred yards or so east of the pub. Delightful!

Rooms could do with some sound proofing...but excellent stay...much better than first accomodation we were booked into for business yesterday at Arrandale Harold street ...(benefits street) .. Located within easy walking distance of The Royal Victoria Country Park & Weston Shore The pub appeared to have been recently redecorated & was light & airy with a nice terrace garden to the rear. The staff without exception were welcoming & friendly & took the time to make a fuss of our young granddaughter which she loved. There was a good choice of reasonably priced food ( dinner was served from 18.00 hrs ). The real ales were well kept & served. We all enjoyed our visit & would certainly visit again & will recommend to others.

So on a sunny Saturday evening, having watched the sun set over Southampton water, our thoughts turned to food! We found ourselves at The Prince Consort and very glad we did!For a busy Saturday, we were able to find a table and were quickly looked after by the friendly waitress/bar staff. I went for the fish & chips whilst my friend had the ham egg & chips, clearly not a diet day. The food was fresh and hot with plenty of the very yummy (and apparently much sought after) chips. Our food was brought to us with a smile and promptly, which was great as we were starving by then.Sadly we didn't have room for dessert, though I suspect we'll be back for another meal and will partake of the dessert menu on that occasion I'm sure!The pub restuarant area was clean and tidy, tables cleared quickly and staff all very approachable and ready to have a chat. The atmosphere felt welcoming and a place I'd feel happy to have a meal in on my own.Definitely worth a visit, if only for the proper chunky chips!!

On our occasional walk along Southampton water we park for free on Weston foreshore and end up at this pub - which also does accommodation. We both had the triple club sandwich. No half measures here. Huge plate with skinnies, red cabbage coleslaw and a mixed salad (not the usual garnish) with a mass of different items. And then there was the sandwich - unusually each slice of bread was lightly toasted on each side to add crispiness and enjoyment. Chicken/good bacon/crisp lettuce between each slice. Allow a good long time to eat this if you choose it but the menu is quite wide ranging anyway.

Had previously been to this pub on few occasions down the years but only for a drink. This visit I enjoyed a lovely lunch. We shared a coronation chicken baguette and the skinny fries were lovely. Highly recommend for lunch. Service was friendly. Prince consort is in a cracking location, I can imagine it gets busy in the summer. One day we will return.

great pub/restaurant.Very friendly staff from manager down to waitress.nothing seems to much trouble.Plenty of places to sit from rear room which is quiet through to bar which can get lively on a Saturday night

Came for lunch in the week following Christmas. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The pub was clean and looked festive. The menu seems varied, with much choice. I chose the Spanish Cod, which was wonderfully cooked. Other members of the party appeared to enjoy their meals, with high praise for the Gambas. Gareth checked on us during the meal and was very chatty. Will be back soon.

The online menu bares no relationship to the actual food available. My partner said that it was the worst pasta meal she has ever bought. I came down with a stomach bug hours later and I am now on antibiotics. We will never return,

This is a popular pub and eatery fr those visiting the abbey at netley or the victoria park. It has a good menu at reasonable prices and a large easily accesible car park. We often just have chips and cappucino and nobody hassles us. The staff are friendly and service is good. It is possible to sit outside on sunny days with a terrace at the back

We went for Sunday lunch in this pub by the waterfront and next to Royal Victoria Country Park, however, it was below average at best. The Poole Plaice was watery and tasteless and was just plonked on top of an ordinary plateful of Sunday veg so hardly inspiring at all. The Falafel burger...on a Sunday lunch menu (?) was boring served with pale McDonald's type fries.Puddings were far better though.The main menu is also offered but this menu is obviously aimed at fleecing the yachting crowd off that this pub seems to hope to attract....certainly would not have anything at the prices charged.The atmosphere in the pub is also spoiled by the hordes of rampaging children they seem to attract.It didn't bode well when there was a sign in the window advertising for a chef.

Great menu choices, fantastic service and value for money. We booked a table for over 20 people for the day after our wedding and they looked after us really well especially as they were fully booked with fathers day. Highly recommend.

I have been here several times and they serve some excellent food. They also do some great deals. It is a place to suit anyone, either families, couples etc. The service is brilliant and they are great with children. Staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Great pub just outside Victoria country park. Lovely, tasty food and great menu. They also have tables outside to enjoy lunch and of course afterwards to have nice walk in the park.

We booked to have a buffet meal here for up to 70 people. The food was amazing. So fresh and tasty and well presented. They have a choice of menus for buffet food and Pepe is flexible on swopping some items around from one menu to another.Pepe and his team were really very helpful,friendly and sociable.I have eaten here for lunch before and highly recommend it.Thank you Pepe and your team for looking after us last week

It is certainly no looker from the outside and once in doors not great a lot better but on the rear deck on a sunny day, it is perfectly pleasant. The menu choice is good, the food is fine and so is the service. So overall not one to rush to but it ticks the required boxes. Most importantly, it is just off the solent way and a 5 km talk from the hamble so on a fine day it comes recommended.

we've recently visited as a group of 8 friends whilst staying with the caravan club at the Royal Victoria Park.We all enjoyed a yummy meal on Friday night very different choices, for each and everyone of us,then we all returned for Easter Sunday Lunch and enjoyed our second scrumptious 3 course meals!Just perfect,no moans or groans from our cornerKeep up the excellent work

Went in to this pub on Thursday to see if food was available,gave it shot and WOW.what a fantastic meal we were all surprised as from the outside you could easily overlook this place.All our meals and there were 6 of us were fantastic tasty and an excellent price. Our waitress Stacey was friendly and attentive.So what to do next,well we booked for Sunday lunch and this time 8 of us were satisfied and our waitress Rachel was again very friendly had a sense of humour as we are jokers and very efficient.do not overlook this pub give it a try.

The most miserable landlord and landlady I have ever encountered. Prickly and frosty, almost afraid to ask for another coffee.Trod on 'eggshells' during breakfast .....cleaner 'swifting' round me while i was eating and it was very a uncomfortable bed with spring poking through . door tread lose so you trip each time you go in and out to access room, nail sticking up from floor , Almost wanted to apologize for bothering them . Sorry but very poor standard.

visited here for a Saturday lunch. First impressions from outside were not great, however the inside was lovely. The service was very good we were 3.5 people dining & it was roughly £15 per head including a bottle of wine, two soft drinks 4 main courses & 3 desserts. The food was freshly cooked & of good quality, if you like bbq spare ribs this is the place for you. We will definitely be coming here again

I regularly visit this pub and thought it was about time I let the secret out, average drinks prices (much the same as most pub!) But the food is very good especially the Sunday roast. It's well worth a try....

We have liked every visit here over the past few years. Its position suits us for our visits to our family who live in Netley Abbey.

Someone has cleverly deleted my review so I will repeat it again. We arrived late 10 ish after charity walk for RSPCA. Drinks ordered and bar staff hovering waiting for us to go. When we asked the barman if he was waiting for us to go, he quite bluntly said yes! Poor attitude and service and never again will we set foot in this establishment. Avoid at all costs and if this is deleted, I will keep on posting!

My wife and I recently visited this pub to eat with friends and I'm afraid we left somewhat disappointed. When ordering the fish and chips my wife specifically asked what sort of fish it was and was told by the very grumpy gentleman that served us that it was cod. She checked and was once again told cod. When the meal arrived it was coley which is a fraction of the price. If coley is all that was available or could be used within the price bracket then please tell us and we can decide but please don't lie. The waitress was far more cheerful and it was a shame that she could not have served us all the evening.

Yesterday evening my son, daughter and I went for a meal in the Prince Consort in Netley. I’ve eaten in this pub in the past and found it agreeable, though on that occasion we were in a restaurant area, not the bar,. This time we were taken to a table in the bar. Above me, a loudspeaker delivered loud (and to me awful) pop music. Not far away a gambling machine’s lights flashed in my vision all evening. Our table, despite having been booked in advance, was immediately next to the kitchen’s swing door (slightly nicer tables remained empty). My daughter was discouraged from buying our first round of drinks at the bar, which was difficult to approach because of the crowd of regulars blocking it. I was unfamiliar with one of the draught ales on offer and our waitress (who was unfailingly good) obligingly asked whether I’d like a taster. I would, and a good thing too. It was long past drinkable, having turned to vinegar. We sent both the taster and the pint my daughter had ordered back and chose a different beer. The atmosphere is what you might call basic. Bare tables, a small paper napkin with a knife and fork plonked on it. My starter (baked Camembert to share) was very nice. My main course (chilli con carne) was too dry, not at all juicy. The sour cream was a cold convenience product. The nachos had unmistakably just come out of a bag. I thought the prices were ambitious for what the place is. If you want even a little ambience, better to look elsewhere.

great location close to Victoria Park and a great place to head for on a summers evening. They keep an excellent cellar of beers and there are always a few good real ales on (last week was Summer Lightning which was perfect). I've eaten there many times and generally its excellent. staff are friendly and pub has a good vibe in the evenings.I would recommend for a party, reunion or family celebration as I have hosted and attended and they do a great job.

I recently attended a party at this venue. The staff were welcoming and the buffet food was varied and well presented as well as tasty. Great place to hold a function. Will be going back soon to test the menu :)

The pub is very different from my last visit. Pub is a bit cold and bare but O.K. We sat on the terrace as it was a lovely evening.The food took ages to arrive, we were overcharged, got the wrong order and when we explained the problem, the duty manager seemed very put out. The order was corrected reluctantly and a refund of the overcharging given but no apology and his attitude was quite poor. The food was just acceptable but no more. To be honest the poor service put me off before I started to eat so even if it was the best food in the world I don't think I would have enjoyed it.I might return just for a drink and to visit the shore but I would not attempt the food again

We went for a spur of the moment mid week meal having visited before and were delighted with our meal. My husband had the most delicious non fatty ribs, and I had a very tender steak and perfect Stilton sauce. Not too pricey, hot and very tasty. Friendly staff and good atmosphere

I visited this pub with a friend for sunday lunch. I had the chicken burger with chips. This was quite average, although there was a lot of it & it was well presented. The atmosphere was lively & friendly, & it was good to see that the pub is dog friendly. I would go back but order a different meal.

A friend and I visited today for Sunday lunch. They have a special Sunday menu offering a fixed price depending on how many courses you have but you can also order from their ordinary menu.I ordered the plaice from the Sunday menu and it was delicious. It came with potatoes, mangetout and red cabbage, but the waitress also brought out separate dishes of vegetables and cauliflower cheese. In fact I queried it with her because the veg already with the meal was a generous enough portion that I was worried I'd been mistakenly given someone else's side dish, but she assured me all the mains on the Sunday menu came with this.Everything was clearly cooked from scratch and to perfection, and at less than £10 was extremely good value for money - the only downside was there was so much I didn't have room for the pudding I promised myself.The atmosphere was just as relaxed as you'd want in a pub on a Sunday afternoon, but this did not mean any compromise in the standard of service which was attentive and friendly throughout.We would definitely go back.

We sat with our coats on to eat!!! Radiators not on...in December!Menu not cheap, one had ham/eggs said it was tasty. Im certain mine was microwaved. A glass of wine £4.The barmaid had no charisma whatsoever, couldnt crack a smile at Christmas. The place was nearly empty....it was Christmas eve lunchtime....
