Visited with a group for dinner. It was my first time there and what a hidden gem. Sat in the garden on a beautiful summer evening with great food and friendly staff. Well worth a look and I hear the Sunday roasts are 👌

I'm not a fan of pub Sunday lunches as they're usually a disappointment however, the roast dinner at The Prince Arthur will have us returning again and again. The reviews we read previously and the slightly higher than we would usually pay price tag had our expectations pretty ramped up but both my fiancé and I loved every mouthful. Presented as a help yourself sharing platter, just like you'd get at home is brilliant. Three meats, two giant Yorkshire puddings, loads of fresh veg and fantastic, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside roast potatoes - couldn't get any better! Having recently moved to Windsor, this will definitely be one of our go to hot spots for Sunday lunch. Must also add that the pub itself is homely, there is a lovely beer garden, the staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing and all the other menu items we saw coming out of the kitchen looked fab too.

This was recommended and we were not disappointed, such an incredible Sunday Lunch its not to be missed. We haven’t been to the Prince Arthur before even though I lived in Windsor for over 20 years. I moved to Winnersh 3 years ago and we met friends there for lunch today. We parked in the Victoria St car park and the pub was only 5 mins walk. The pub is dog friendly which is great for us and he was very relaxed. The most amazing thing was the Sunday roast, this plate arrived with Beef, Pork and Chicken, a mountain of vegetables and the most incredible Yorkshire puds. We ordered sides of pigs in blankets, sage & onion stuffing in breadcrumbs and cauliflower cheese and a jug of lovely thick gravy to polish it all off. Excellent food & Service Well done everyone involved, a lovely local pub.

This is a lovely local pub, the staff are great and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The food is decent pub grub - the shepherds pie is delicious! The only feed back I’d have is that the portions are maybe too generous. The kids in particular, the fish fingers and chips was very big. You could easily halve the amount of chips and serve it with baked beans or beans and it would still be a very decent meal. Overall love this pub, very lucky to have it on our doorstep!

We really enjoyed how well the staff looked after us - remembering who had had what, which is rare nowadays even in restaurants. The friendliness and attention, even though the pub was extremely busy, was exceptional. The food itself was average pub grub which was hit and miss (some really enjoyed, some of us not so much) but we all agree that the service was worth returning for regardless - a great example of a pub that really does hospitality! Our first visit and won't be the last :)

It was a Airbnb stay to meet my son at the weekend. Having had a few drinks in a bar in Windsor and almost fainting at the price....we decided to take an unplanned visit to The Prince Arthur that wa situated round the corner from our Airbnb. It was a warm and friendly bar - and honestly served some of the best food. We chose to dine again on the Sunday and enjoyed the roast platter for 4 people. Well, that was the best decision because it was so blinking beautiful!! We've eaten in some lovely high end establishments and still, we'd say that this place was up with the best. Each and every staff member is was exceptional. I hope to visit again some day. Keep up the good work, and don't change a thing

I decided to treat my good friend to a lunch and a pint for his 40th. He had the misfortune of his birthday in the middle of the second lockdown so I took the first opportunity in the new tiers to have a little celebration with him. My first and only choice was The Prince Arthur in Windsor. Graham and his team know how to make the best of a bad situation and treat their guests like friends and family. The real gem at this pub is the incredible menu from Rolling Dough. The tastiest burger I have ever had. Unfortunately the confit chicken wings weren't available, but if you get a chance to try the katsu sauce and truffle dip with your fries you won't regret it.

Buen pub, personal estupendo. This is hands down the best pub in Windsor! The owners and the staff are incredibly friendly and even when the pub is rammed (often when there is sports on) they run a great service with smiles on their faces. If there is a rugby or football game this is definitely the place to go! They also do some great South African braais (bbq's) which I would highly recommend. Don't know what "don't bother" is on about. this is a great local Windsor Pub well known for its range of Fullers Ale. Yes it has a bit of the local territory stamp as you walk in but show a little respect to the custom, open conversation and you will be surprised at how quickly the place can become friendly. Well known for its showing of all types of sport but is especially busy when the England Rugby team is playing - is known by locals as the place to watch sport .This is not a wine bar so don't expect flashy décor or reserved seating. The food is solid good old fashioned Pub grub at a reasonable price cooked on the premises from scratch.Thursday is PIE Night (Pie, Mash, Gravy & a pint for £10,00) believe me the meal is superb.Sunday is the day for roast Chicken £6.95 Beef £8.95 or feed family of 4 for £20 - servings are huge.Taking the dog for a walk down to the PUB - take it to the Prince Arthur as dogs are welcome (kept on Lead). Suggest you try it yourself and then decide whether it deserves 1 star or 5.

Good place, shame that all shareholders let a guy who has zero interest and experience in dealing with customers, who bullies the staff, really embarrassing! I would not recommend this place, especially if you have to deal with so called manager of the pub. Had a great night, but he interacted and told staff off for making a drink I asked for, when I interacted he became extremely rude, lesson for management- people come there to spend money not to be told off.

Went for an anniversary meal on our celebratory weekend away, it was very busy in there on a Saturday evening. We shared a bruschetta starter (£9), which was basically a flat bread with tomatoes on. I had a chicken tagine with prunes and apricots and my husband had chicken a la creme. Food was tasty, chicken was very tender, but it would have been nicer if it was served with a few vegetables instead of having to order as an extra, as it wasn't particularly cheap. Bill for the two of us, with a flat bread, bottle of water, glass of wine and glass of coke came to around £96, including the automatic 12% tip (which we don't really like added to the bill, we prefer to tip accordingly for good service ourselves). Slightly disappointed they didn't acknowledge that it was our 10th wedding anniversary, as I had made a note of this when booking.
