Good place, shame that all shareholders let a guy who has zero interest and experience in dealing with customers, who bullies the staff, really embarrassing! I would not recommend this place, especially if you have to deal with so called manager of the pub. Had a great night, but he interacted and told staff off for making a drink I asked for, when I interacted he became extremely rude, lesson for management- people come there to spend money not to be told off.

I used to frequent 35 years ago, when it was a snug boozer. Now it has been greatly enlarged into a pub with pizza / other lite bites. It even has a website! Bands, a beer garden, real ale...What's not to like? I had a pint of Peroni with my Pepperoni.

Came in on the way back from a walk and anniversary meal. As always, the welcome was warm and friendly, and the beer was well looked after. Saturdays is live mic night at the Craufurd, and the hosts gave us a couple of great songs before handing over to some local musicians. A lovely way to spend a few hours. The England v Italy game was being shown outside and there were plenty of people enjoying that too.

A cosy community-owned pub. They get a local guy to set up a pizza oven on Fridays (since they don't do food) and local musicians come and play on some of the evenings. They have a quiz night and a meat raffle sponsored by a local independent butchers'. It's all very nice.

Great staff, friendly patrons and a well-kept cellar. Recently voted (again) as the best real ale pub in Maidenhead by CAMRA. Thursday's is pub quiz night, and last night the bar took over £1000 for the first time in ages. Always looking to make the experience better, they have fresh pizza (from Kingsmead Pizza Co.) alongside the live music every Friday. Live sports as and when. Small, but perfectly formed, a great place for a quiet drink or a great get-together.

The improvements to the outdoor areas allows patrons to feel secure and comfortable, and provides a wide range of very pleasant seating arrangements. Staff were excellent in managing the Covid arrangements and the pub has thought long and hard about how to provide for its customers. Well done all

Huge improvement since being taken over as a community pub which has been a massive turning point for the pub and the local community. The pub has been refreshed and has comfortable seating, the beer garden again has been refurbished. The beer is good with a wide selection and they have recently started to provide pub food. The location is slightly awkward in respect to a busy road but that maybe to its benefit as it feels like a rural pub which adds to its character. Well worth a visit, in fact i encourage it if for nothing else but to support a local asset.

I have been a regular customer at The Craufurd Arms for many years, in fact since 1980s Just recently I have noticed a change in policy towards dogs both in the bar and eating areas .During two recent visits I have noticed that dogs are being fed from customer plates as they eat their meal. They are also allowed to run around the restaurant totally out of control jumping up on other customers as they eat! Surely this is unhygienic and very wrong. I would not eat food there again until this problem is resolved. So selfish of people to impose their dogs on others in such a small environment.

A bit too cramped with only one bar. No parking facility and its on the main road. Its a community pub run by a committee, where there is no communication between the committee members, hence each member thinks its their own pub. This causes chaos when groups book a table, only to find someone else has it too. The beers not bad though.

Went for an anniversary meal on our celebratory weekend away, it was very busy in there on a Saturday evening. We shared a bruschetta starter (£9), which was basically a flat bread with tomatoes on. I had a chicken tagine with prunes and apricots and my husband had chicken a la creme. Food was tasty, chicken was very tender, but it would have been nicer if it was served with a few vegetables instead of having to order as an extra, as it wasn't particularly cheap. Bill for the two of us, with a flat bread, bottle of water, glass of wine and glass of coke came to around £96, including the automatic 12% tip (which we don't really like added to the bill, we prefer to tip accordingly for good service ourselves). Slightly disappointed they didn't acknowledge that it was our 10th wedding anniversary, as I had made a note of this when booking.
