The Praire in Burnley

Called in here while waiting to check in to The Oaks. What a lovely meal we had and a very hard working waitress ( didn’t get her name) Compliments to the chef faitas macaroony cheese and chill and rice all perfect. A good surprise

Firstly to say I never complain however.... We came tonight for tea. Ordered the loaded surf and turf but they didn't have the garlic prawns so ordered the surf and turf to be cooked medium and upgraded the steak to 8oz. I ordered the jerk chicken kebabs. The food arrived which was burnt to a crisp. The steak was replaced with another well done steak which was at least half fat. No one came back to the table to check the food was ok. I am home now and all i can taste is burnt food. Really not a good experience at all.

Just spent a lovely evening here and I must admit I wasn't expecting much. Well, ill admit they blew me away with their quality of food and fantastic service. Beth, our waitress was lovely and nothing was too much hassle. They are covid secure and run a tight ship. Well done guys. Will I go back? ....... damn right, I'm the new regular!

Social distancing in place. Not sure about some family gatherings I.e. from the same household but we met with our in-laws and they sat at a separate table. Great food.....obviously cooked to order. The food here used to come too quick but it’s a changed menu and for the better.

The food is excellent and you dont get short changed with it theres plenty .nice decor and surroundings. The food order is quick but the drinks take some time coming .easy on the wallet have been many times the soup is one of the best here.will be going again

Nice place to visit if into golf or sport they have a golf driving range and small crazy golf area all reasonable priced they do snacks and nice meals in reception area

First visit to the Praire since the referb , nice and clean inside plenty of seating looks really good , so we have a look at the menu plenty to choose from ,we choose the sizzler , it's two sausage , two eggs , tomato , beans , toast , bacon , mushrooms ,onion and potato ash . Two brews (refills as many as you like ) . Service was good but having said that it wasn't full , The Breakfast was good no complaints at all , the staff good no problems at all . So yes all in all it was a good experience ,will we go again well yes we will .

Been here twice now and food is amazing and amazingly priced. It has recently been done up since I have visited so I am looking forward to go again to see the new decor. Would 100% recommend

Staff could do with learning to smile...... Especially when serving mediocre food. Maybe it wouldn't taste so bed if you felt welcome. A TV blaring in your ear makes it impossible to relax and enjoy an evening with friends and family. Cheap and cheerful........?????? Try cheap and miserable.

Have visited for lunch on several occasions and never been disappointed. Varied menu, nice surroundings and lovely staff. The sandwiches are delicious and well presented.

Extremely pleasant area and view - pity food was so poor, soggy rice, messy salad and very average chips.

I've been here to play football, mini golf, rounders, eat/drink as well as play rounders, and the facilities are fab! and not pricey at all.

Been here a few times for food, and the food is always good. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. Would highly recommend.

Eaten here a couple of times as local to us, took my dad and had to put up with an ignorant guy who wanted us to squeeze 3 people on a table only fit for two - shame as the staff were really nice

Went for breakfast to give the place a try - turned up at 8.30, turned away as breakfast is not served until 9.00am. Not according to their literature which states 8.30? No worries, went off to do an errand and returned at 9.15. Place now rammed with football mums n dads wanting serving. Waited patiently in line to be served, meanwhile back on the table my wife had been offered other people's orders, strange I thought as I hadn't even ordered yet? The table was not cleaned properly from night before still left sticky. Full English breakfast had a rubber egg, soggy toast, no butter and Luke warm, for some reason salad cress garnish all over the egg and meal! My wife had poached egg which was well over cooked! They were totally disorganised, slow service and poor quality cooked food. Needless to say we won't be going again!

Had been for breakfast at the prairie a few times and it was very good experience everytime so decided to treat my wife on saturday, what a complete disaster from start to finish.

The food here is pretty basic but ideal for a budget meal. Kids can go here to as it does cater for them.

Mi marido y yo visitamos el pueblo de Prairie Bistro hoy (Miércoles Deportes 21 de septiembre) con mi amigo que estaba allí con nosotros durante unos días. Que ya había sido en el driving range y decidimos almorzar allí también.

lovely setting with a view. clean upmarket with a crisp and varied menu. we had sandwiches burgers side fries and salad dressings washed down with appropriate wine and ale , would recommend this to anybody, great parking good access for mobile and less mobile and of course the DRIVING RANGE set in a paddy field, whats gone wrong with that surface???????

Algunos de £4 por una pinta es, en mi opinión excesivo, además de £8 por una tarta y una pinta también era excesivo. Intentamos comprar el desayuno aquí pero la 8.30 para empezar tales anuncian aparentemente sólo se los fines de semana - confuso! Lugar limpio, pero muy apreciados por lo que recibes. En Burnley.

lunch with my friend. Plenty of parking space. Good service, great pub food, moderately priced. Really enjoy our lunch plenty of choice on menu. J had the chicken tika masla served with rice. My friend had gammon which were both very good.

Buen aparcamiento, muy buena relación calidad-precio, beenhere un par de veces para el almuerzo y cada vez hemos estado la comida ha sido muy buena. Volvería otra vez.

took sat navigator to find pub restaurant got parked easy very short on seats on our arrival looked at the menu approx. 5 minutes partner waited in the line to be served people at the front keep changing there mind only one person serving behind the bar taking orders had to wait about 20 minutes to be served when our food arrived it was fairly good parking was good to waiting time was slow but everything else was quite good

The steaks are excellent as all their pub food we go at least 2 times a month its not the poshest place just good and plentiful pub grub well it is a sizzler house the staff are friendly and try their best to serve u quick but this is not always possible but worth the wait

Usually the food is ok but went on sunday and ordered veggi lasagne and it tasted ok but looked a burnt mess, i didn't complain but should of done really. Hubby had Guinness & Steak pie or something like that and he said it was good. Wish they had more vegetarian options on the menu.

Have to stand about waiting to be served while staff constantly dissapear into the back 2 and 3 of them at a time for 5 to 10 mins at a time.Rubbish service.

Reccomended and was sadly disappponted. Only one rushed off feet waitress. Gravy asked for.never arrived.tea asked for.forgotten had to re request . Meal long time coming and lukewarm. Will give another chance.!

food and staff really really good. 4 main meals 8 alcoholic drinks 2 starters 2 sweets all for under 60 quid. top value.

My wife and I enjoyed a really good lunch at reasonable price. Very pleasant staff. Also liked the fact with a room for no kids, we'll be back

Great place to go food or drink,and a super new menu coming soon.had a meal for four people,food was excellent,service good and overall value for money.

Not may places will take a party of 13 on speck .they did .....great food, great prices.. great food.. lots of choices..great staff will be going back .
