I had the best milkshake of my life here! I’ve had many milkshakes from various different restaurants and cafes but I have never had one as good at The Secret Garden’s Biscoff milkshake. Made with real icecream and topped with Lotus sauce and whipped cream it’s like eating liquid Biscoff biscuits. I cannot recommend it enough!! The staff are also so friendly and lovely. The woman on the till was brilliant and very helpful. I didn’t catch her name but she was wearing wonderfully bright red trainers 😊 Can’t recommend this place enough 🥤🥪🍰

Today my other half and I stopped at the Secret Garden for some lunch while at the Hop Festival. We were incredibly disappointed with the sandwiches that we had ordered, and honestly I would have been embarrassed to serve them up considering we had paid £15 altogether for the two. We understand the Hop Festival is an incredibly busy time but however it was still early in the day and the prices charged were just not acceptable for what was served. We left and got some crepes from a stall near by which were cheaper and far better.

Had the ‘special’ of Sausage and Onion baguette. Unfortunately what I received was a lukewarm pre-cooked sausage with a large portion of something like onion chutney and the baguette was a supermarket part baked type. Very unappetising and couldn’t eat it all. Shame really because the location is great

Stopped here after a long walk, husband said it was the best bacon and Brie sandwich he had ever had with no scrimping on the filling. I enjoyed the unusual pistachio milkshake and the coffee and walnut cake was almost as good as my Mum’s! Young but friendly and helpful staff, toilet had no paper towels and hand drier didn’t work. Seemed to be a very dog friendly place.

It wasn’t busy and there was many staff available. But what a wait! If they talked to each other less and concentrated more on the customer it may improve. One sausage baguette and a sandwich arrived after 10 minutes wait and a further 10 minutes later 2 teas appeared! Food was basic. Thin tasteless bread and a dry baguette. The salad with the sandwich was sparse and very much past its best. Whilst waiting I witnessed the young man behind the counter go to the hatch and place his hand on somebody’s food. Meanwhile a young lady who’d been standing at the tea counter for the whole time doing nothing picked up food to take to a table. In doing so she dropped the butter picked it up off the floor and placed it back on the plate. Hygiene is clearly not a primary factor here. Not an experience to be repeated.

Awful!!! Having read some really good reviews we thought we’d try the breakfast… never again!! I could have made a much better breakfast myself for half the price!! We ordered x2 English breakfasts without tomatoes and a pot of tea for 2. Should be simple surely? Firstly the pot of tea came out - it was half full and we couldn’t even get 2 cups of tea from it. Then the breakfasts came out - both were with tomatoes, the bacon was so fatty which was uncooked so it couldn’t be eaten, the eggs were overcooked and looked like they’d been dropped from a great height and the sausages was so overcooked that you could beardy cut into them. The quality of the basic ingredients were horrible and cheap and then the quality of the cooking made it even more inedible… all for £24.40, never again ! Wouldn’t mind but at one point there were at least 8 members of staff that we could count and yet nothing seemed to be done properly… such a shame as the space is lovely, but it’s not being run properly. Don’t waste your time or money going here.

Went on Sunday; have been many times and always a favourite. Good service, and nice food. Always have a bacon sarnie, often with some crisps, salad, nice thick cut bread, crispy bacon, what's not to like. However this time no crisps, no salad, and worse, bread thinner than you'd find in an economy tesco loaf with soft soggy bacon sandwiched in between. Less appealing than the Bacon Sandwich on our local industrial estate that costs £1.20. Friends had scrambled egg which was closer to Omelette rubbery in texture and taste. We need our Secret Garden back, where the scrambled egg (I don't eat egg) was always special for those that had it. 'Best scrambled egg around' was often said. Service still good, such an appealing place.....just need the 'A' game back on the food front when charging £7+ for a bacon sandwich and a coffee!!

Went this morning for breakfast and were lucky enough to sit in the sunny garden as fairly quiet. Great spot and food of high quality just don’t head here if looking for a quick turnaround as it took approx 40 mins to receive our food.

We took the walking tour, following the Tourist Information brochure. And down by the quay we came across the Secret Garden. It was a bright cheery place, with friendly staff.

This was a totally fabulous find. I almost had second thoughts about reviewing it so that it doesn't get over-crowded. Tucked away on the Quay side in Faversham amongst all the Antique barns and artist / craft shops. It offers extremely good value for money...

Good section of cakes and drinks. Have only been here for snacks so I can't speak about the lunches, but this is a very attractive café with good service. In fine weather it has plenty of outdoor, sunny tables and the setting is the historic...

Great location by the creek. Quirky individual space. The small breakfast is massive so great value at £5.95. Coffee is well brewed. Only downside is that it is a very cold space. Improve the heating and this would easily make 5*
