First and for most Booking was easy and the staff were fantastic, it was a birthday treat for my dad's 76th Birthday. The environment and ambient were qauint and the Smell if the Sunday Cavery was delightful 😊. There was plenty of food all locally sourced and prepared to perfection. Today's roasts were pork and chicken . The overall price for a party of 3 was amazing. Again the staff couldn't do enough to help. My dad was given a piece of cake to take away as a birthday treat from one of the staff. What a fantastic day. 5hank you to all of you at the ploughman's barn and manor farm shop for making my Dad's day. I will definitely be back. 3 Nov 2024

Lovely place to eat and to visit the farm shop. Great staff. Efficient and friendly. Always take family and friends, and they are always complimentary and ask to go back when they visit again.

Absolutely first class. Food, atmosphere and service - all fantastic. Can thoroughly recommend and will return for sure!

Group of us arrived for a breakfast. Most of us had the full Monty, with a hot drink and I was very impressed, the food was very good. Will return.

Not our first visit, but maybe our last one. The food is excellent but the service was awful. My daughter had gravy and fat splashed on her when a new batch of chicken was thrown into the serving tray. No given apology. Had a pot of tea for two, had 3.5 small cups so went to ask for some extra hotwater in the pot to finish off, they considered charging us! And the cherry on the top, bearing in mind we had spend over £150 on dinner and drinks for our table, I took my 3 years old grandson back up to the carvery counter to ask for a scoop of mash potato ( his favourite and a very picky eater) to be asked what we'd paid for because it only includes one small scoop of mash potato. The sour faced lady begrudgingly gave us extra mash but told us it was against the rules! What a joke, the mash was sitting on the side, getting cold as no one was awaiting service. I could not believe giving my grandson one extra small scoop of mash made any difference what so ever. A shame as the food is very reasonable priced and the cakes are excellent.

Called in for Sunday lunch today it was busy but managed to get a table,it was Beef or Pork,me and my husband chose roast Beef as our meat,also on the plate was roast and mashed potatoes,red cabbage,carrots,cauliflower cheese,stuffing,Yorkshire pudding,parsnip and peas,a massive plateful,the stuffing was hard and dry,the carrots were just cooked,the Beef was tough and simmering in the gravy,the Yorkshire was floppy,Cauliflower cheese had no taste.it wasn't very hot either,All the meats they serve here are stewed in gravy,no chance of getting pink meat,would be better carving it from the joint to put on your plate.

Went for the roast lamb Sunday dinner advertised on Facebook. Sold out when we arrived so had the choice of some very dry looking chicken breasts or gammon. Chose the gammon and it was really salty as though it had been brined but not rinsed prior to cooking. Veg was very basic and clearly microwaved in water nothing extra like cauliflower cheese. Gravy was thin and tasteless and it costed us about £50 for 2 soups 2 less than average roasts and 2 coffees.

Treated mum this Mothers day to a great set meal and service for mother's day today thank you 😊 would highly recommend , a descent price for 2 courses

The food was Christmas lunch was amazing!! Went in a party of 13, the food was served together and piping hot, couldn't fault it, every course was delicious. The staff were so attentive and very polite, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

I wanted a few plants and the wife said we should have lunch whilst we were there. We ordered two Chinese Currys one with chips and one with rice. The waitress came back and said they only had one portion left so I went for the fish and chips. The fish was ok but the chips were the worst chips I have ever had. My wife's curry was also bad. The curry had dried out and there were no onions it and very little spice. I would recommend that the Co-op visits either a Chinese restaurant or visit either Iceland or Sainsbury's to purchase one of their ready meals and they will soon see how bad their curry was.

Called in here today for Sunday lunch today,not been for a meal before,we were promptly seated,then went to the counter and ordered our meal,the choice was chicken or pork,we chose roast pork it is served up Infront of you,we were really surprised at the portion sizes,you won't leave hungry here,the food was delicious the best roast I've ever eaten out.will be back and recommend.

This is our favourite place to stop on our regular journey from Manchester to Lincolnshire. The staff are nothing short of delightful. All the food we have ever had has been tasty and ready very quickly. Well worth a visit.

This place is truly excellent. You will never regret a visit be it a meal drink or snack. Staff are amazing kind friendly and helpful. Chips are out of this world. Only a professional moaner could rate it low. Prices are great too. Love love love this place and can't wait to go back. Best place for miles.

We recently visited on the recommendation of friends, and we were certainly not disappointed to the extent we have been back since. The restaurant always appears very clean and tidy, and the staff are welcoming on arrival and friendly and efficient thereafter. While not necessarily extensive, the menu choices are more than sufficiently varied for our tastes. Perhaps more importantly, the quality of our dishes has been of the very highest order, and they are very reasonably priced. We will definitely be visiting again in the near future. In the interim, well done.

We were looking for a bit of lunch on Sunday while travelling south and called in, having had coffee there before. Full roast dinner available at a good price, delivered in good time by very friendly staff. We love the section which can be opened up in summer and has a log burner for those cold days. All in all, a very good experience.

My wife and myself took our eldest granddaughter for lunch on our anniversary and my birthday as Manor Farm is close to where we live and we have been several times and always enjoyed the food and wonderful staff. We all had a prawn salad which was good value and of a high quality. All of the staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and polite, nothing was too much trouble. Although they were very busy, our meal came fairly quickly and the ambience was most pleasant. We all enjoyed our meal and will certainly be returning in the future.

First visit here today and it definitely won’t be our last. Most importantly, the ladies running this place know their stuff and wow can they cook! Very professional which is increasingly rare these days. Personable, efficient, well presented and calm. Secondly, the food was amazing. Such generous portions, and whilst very reasonably priced, everything tasted top notch. Hubby had a burger and I had a toasted panini. Little one had a fish finger sandwich - at last, somewhere that delivers child size portions at a fair price! Despite having to undo buttons, we went for a dessert and coffee too. Maltese tiffin was gorgeous and the coffee was superb. Can’t wait to return. Such a gem of a place. Please don’t change!!!

Went today with my grandparents for lunch. We called in at 1:30pm and the car park was full with cars which already shows how brilliant this place is. We got a table and placed our order with the lovely Sue behind the counter who was very friendly and professional! We were a bit awkward asking for something to not be on one of the salads and she was most welcoming and accepting of this even though I know it can be a pain when there are multiple food orders. We got our drinks brought over quickly and the food came fast as well even though they were busy. Really good portion sizes and the staff were so smiley and attentive without being in the way. The whole place is really nicely done, very light and airy with 2 separate areas to eat outside one of which being dog friendly which is great. Also chairs were very comfortable which is helpful for the 2 elderly people I came with and myself being heavily pregnant. Definitely will be back!

We had lunch yesterday while picking up new laying chickens. Fantastic meal, lovely staff and very efficient ,would recommend to all our friends. Looking forward to returning.

We called here on the off chance and were fortunate to get a table. We had meat and nut roast Sunday lunches. The meat was fantastic. The nut roast really tasty. Plenty of well cooked veg and potatoes. Our first time here and we enjoyed a great Sunday lunch. Will certainly be revisiting on another day to see what else they do.

Table for 4, 3 had fish and chips and 1 had Thai chicken curry. All dishes were excellent . Waitress service from both young ladies on today was superb, very friendly, attentive and cheerful.

Found this superb place by chance while travelling south on the A15. Lovely feel to the place with so much wood. Love the deck extension with stove to keep warm. Really good coffee, friendly staff, and delicious sausage baps. Will definitely call again

Really lovely spot for lunch. Browse the farm shop, pick up some plants, see the animals then have a delicious lunch! Friendly service, plenty of outdoor tables, and whether a Sunday lunch or a sarnie and chips, the food is delicious.

I visited last week with my family. What a wonderful place and the cakes are amazing. A Farm Shop, Garden Centre and butchers in the same place makes it a one stop shop!! We’ll be back!
