WOW, what a find this was, our first visit but won't be our last!, we went as a family of 5 for a Sunday roast dinner, and oh my goodness was it worth it. The food was amazing quality, fast service, very pleasant waiting staff, the restaurant was stunning so bright and beautifully decorated, and the attention to one of our groups dietary requirements was spot on without us having to give prior knowledge! Our only regret is that they are already booked for Christmas day Lunch otherwise we would be booking for sure.

This is a superb restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious. A big thanks to Chloe, colleagues and chef for managing my wife's dietary requirements. The Sunday lunch was just amazing as was our midweek meal. Thanks again.

We went for a Sunday lunch we both had a roast my wife had roast beef and i had roast pork both were very good and plenty of, we then had apple and cherry crumble and again very good, all the food and drinks are very reasonable prices, all the staff were very friendly and polite we will definitely be going back soon thank you George and Donna Thorold from Lincoln

Never had a bad meal here. Sunday lunch for 5 adults and a child, food very tasty as always everything was tasty including the real ale (Timothy Taylors Landlord, a fantastic pint), disappointing that the deep fried brie was not on as a starter as it was a family favourite and always tasted wonderful, whipped honey and goats cheese made up for it though.We had one childs meal which was more than adequate for his appetite and the roast beef was very tasty and one turkey which was also very good. A pleasant eating experience and everyone enjoyed there meal and left stuffed! if you leave here hungry it is your fault :-) I would highly recommend this venue for anyone wanting a great meal out.

On our way to Lincoln and wanted somewhere to have Sunday Lunch, The Plough didn't disappoint! The restaurant is lovely, the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the Sunday roast was excellent. If you're in the area it's definitely worth a visit. It's such a shame we live so far away.

We had an excellent meal as we always do at The Plough last week, the staff are so attentive, the food was well presented and tasted delicious. We will definitely be back very soon.

Upon arriving, we were greeted by a friendly smiling young lady, then shown to our reserved table. We ordered drinks first, shown the "Specials" board and handed the menu. It is a varied menu and between the four adults we had starters, main meal and dessert. The quality of the food cooked and served was very good. The young lady serving us at table was very pleasant and helpful. The ambience is very friendly and although, as a family, we have only just discovered The Plough Restaurant, we will be visiting again. We are now looking forward to our third visit. We wish them team every success.

This was an amazing surprise. From the front, it looks like a lovely little village pub, when you enter you are transported into a lovely chic modern restaurant, staff was very friendly and accommodating. We have been here a few times whilst on holiday and the food was so good especially the Sunday roast. The owners have really done well with this place inside and out. Relaxing atmosphere and good service. Looking forward to the next time we can visit.

Firstly, the beer is great! If you just want a pint you won't do better than the Timothy Taylor's Landlord that is served here and is pulled in proper Yorkshire fashion by the ladies behind the bar who couldn't be more friendly and welcoming. If TT's is not your thing there are other excellent options. However, we were here for dinner. Firstly, a moan. We were dining at 8pm and already the fish cake starters were sold out. This happened the last time that we visited and Mrs L was disappointed again. I can understand specials selling out quickly but this is a standard menu item. Having got that out of the way I will just say the food was excellent again. Four different starters and four different main courses and all agreed they were excellent and pretty good value for money. Would have given 5 stars if the fish cakes were available..... Will be going again soon - just wish I could find a taxi home so I can have more than one pint....

We went for a Sunday lunch we where pleasantly surprised as we had eaten before on my birthday on a evening and didn't enjoy it but our meal today was very nice we will go again glad we tried it again sweets a much better choice as we were not impressed last time booked again

Wow! Booked a rare, child free meal with my husband tonight. From ringing to book, right through to paying the bill, I couldn't fault this place! Spotlessly clean, amazing menu, two very friendly ladies looked after us and the food was absolutely delicious and massive portions too! Undoubtedly THE best burger I've ever had in my whole life, The Plough Burger, just melted in my mouth. My husband had the Lasagne, which he thoroughly enjoyed too. We were fit to burst when we left! What a hidden gem, I can't believe we live down the road and haven't been here before, we'll definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Sunday dinner is the best for-miles and miles , as standard Roast comes with roast mash potatoes, cauliflower cheese, carrots, peas, stuffing and Yorkshire’s. Beer is fantastic. Absolutely gorgeous meal. We both had steaks and they were the best we’d had in ages. Delicious mushrooms, chips and salad. The staff were a delight too. Would not hesitate to go back if we were in the area again.

After waiting 30 minutes for meal to arrive (only two other tables occupied in dining area) was most disappointed as the steak pie crust was so hard the knife would not cut through it and majority was left.Our thoughts are that this pie was not fresh and filled with thick gravy to mask its condition. Maybe on a should be busy Friday lunchtime we should have questioned ourselves why such shortage of diners, we suspect that we are not alone being disappointed, total waste of money paid and will not recommend or revisit RED

Excellent Sunday Lunch, had Goats Cheese Starter - delicious, husband had olives and bread. Two roast dinners, one pork one Turkey, plenty of meat on the plate and five different vegetables. Plates were piping hot as was the food. Excellent service from the staff. Checked on each course to see if all ok. Offered drinks when needing a refill . Well done The Plough, lovely as always

We came here off the back of a recommendation and weren’t disappointed. Nice fresh, clean and modern pub. Straight away we were made to feel really welcome, including our two dogs. You can sit in the bar area or covered beer garden with dogs. Staff were really friendly and attentive. We had pizzas and desserts which were both fresh and delicious. Prices were fair. Definitely recommend a visit if you’re in the area!

Can highly recommend the Sunday Roast. We had beef and it was cooked to perfection - tender and tasty - as were the selection of vegetables. The staff go beyond to make you feel welcome and are very attentive. This has to be one of the nicest pubs we’ve been to …. we will be going back!

First visit having drove past quite a few times, wasn’t disappointed. Had the 20oz steak sharing meal, came with two portions of fries, two sauces, amazing onion rings and a mixed salad. Food was fantastic, really lovely bubbly staff and fantastic service. Will definitely be back

We booked online on the morning of our visit.This was truly one of the best Sunday lunches that we have had out. I had beef ( 3 huge slices)My husband had turkey ( a massive pile of turkey). All accompanied by beautiful vegetables and the most wonderful creamy cauliflower cheese , roast potatoes, parsnips and meat juices gravy.The whole pub had hand sanitizers everywhere and was extremely well run and safe to visit. The waitresses were really lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough for you. We will definitely visit again and bring our children next time. Well done to all at The Plough, you're all doing a great job in these very trying times. I hope this review will send a few more customers your way whether it be in the week or at weekends. Lovely food. I had the scallop starter and mussels. I like how to menu changes so you could return in a month or two and have something different. The atmosphere was a bit weird because of the spacing of tables - but that can’t be helped. We would return

Although on the pricier side, it's fair value for the quality of food which was fantastic, I would have to say the best burger I've ever had, good quality meat, huge and delicious. The chocolate and peanut butter cheesecake was very naughty but very nice! My partners sea bass with gnocchi and strudel were also superb quality and our little one was happy with her pizza and ice cream!Service was friendly and efficient, just a bit of a delay for dessert as lots of tables arrived and ordered their starters or mains at same time. Did notice that of all the places we are out whilst on holiday, this was the only one where the staff weren't wearing either masks or visors though seats were well spaced and plenty of hand sanitiser.The restaurant has recently been renovated including the outdoor area. It's very nicely done but for us did lack a bit of character/atmosphere but can't take anything away from the food which really was fabulous!

Had Sunday lunch here today, it was absolutely delicious, the place is lovely the staff were lovely and the food was excellent, one of the best Sunday lunches I’ve had in a long time.

What can I say other than AMAZING and DELICIOUS. The food was too die for. Choice of roasts- beef, pork or turkey. Roasts all served with cauliflower cheese, carrots, cabbage and peas! Plenty of gravy! Food just next level. Milly the waitress/ bar lady always on hand to help and serve! Very friendly. The chef was also friendly and polite :) nothing was too much trouble for either Milly or the chef! what an afternoon :) 100% recommend. Thanks for a great experience.

After seeing the review made on the 12th December 2019, I was a little concerned, but I do like to make my own judgement. I went to the Plough today to have Sunday lunch with some close friends. Firstly, I would like to say what a wonderful, clean and very well presented restaurant the Plough is. Our food was amazing, and upon being served our food, we requested more vegetables, to which the restaurant staff were more than happy to oblige. I cannot say enough just how polite and very well mannered the staff were. I am someone who likes quality over quantity, and I can honestly say that I was far from disappointed. I also believe the restaurant was very well priced for the quality as well as quantity of food that was served to us. This is one restaurant that I will be extremely happy to revisit again in the near future.

Ate an outstanding lunch here a few weeks ago and the rump steak was the finest I have tasted and cooked to perfection. In fact everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal and one of our party with dietary problems was well looked after and pleased with the experience. Thanks to everyone at The Plough.

Went for a last minute Sunday lunch with my husband, family and friends while visiting them all. The meal was fantastic everyone had roast beef apart from myself who chose pork. The beef was cooked to everyone's requests perfectly and my pork was absolutely delicious with plenty of it also 2 big slices!! The roast potatoes were lovely and crispy, the yorkshire puddings were out of this world and the cauliflower cheese was the best I have ever had. The staff were very very pleasant efficient and helpful. Will definitely visit again when next in sunny Lincolnshire.

Went for Sunday lunch & despite the friendly welcome the food was below par. It is £15 for one course, which around here is pricey. However, the roast was poor quality. I expected more than one thin slice of pork folded over to look like more. There were 8 types of veg. That would be fine if I went for a vegan meal but not for traditional Sunday lunch. The meat portion was stingy for that price. Not good enough. Wont be going back.

Went with 5 others for Christmas Day (@£65 a head) with a reservation at 1.30. We were taken to table quickly and a welcome drink served. We had pre ordered all courses. The starters arrived after about 45 minutes. The main course around 45 minutes after that. Christmas pudding 30 minutes. So we finished about 4 pm! The young staff were amazing and told us there were only two people in the kitchen ( for probably 100+ covers) hence the slow service. Food was good not great and £65 for Sunday lunch a bit steep! I would like to go back on a normal night. The decor in the restaurant is very nice.

This will be the third time I have been to the Plough Inn. It is such a beautiful pub, inside and out.The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and attentive and the locals in the cosy bar are a good laugh. I always look forward to eating here and would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Me my family and friends whent for a drink to celebrate new years we had a couple of drinks and were told to leave at 10:20 so the manager could go and have a drink. I wouldn't usual complain however on new years to shut the pub to locals all apart from the ones she gets on with so she can have a drink with them after locking down the pud is out of line (and ilegal). We went in there to have a nice time and was made to fell very unwelcome in our local. Sufise to say I will not be returning to the plough north kyme.Me such as meany locals in noth kyme have been to made fell unwelcome after new management for a small village the pub is suppost to be the heart of it however many people refuse to go dew to the unwelcoming atmosphere that radiates off of the main manager and other staff.

Had a wonderful Sunday Lunch with friends, lovely atmosphere, excellent food. I had the rabbit ballotine along with 2 other diners, my husband had the prawn cocktail, we had Turkey, beef and pork and all declared the meat and vegetables delicious.

Went here for the third time with friends tonight. The “manager” started the evening by raising her eyebrows when asked to take a little ice out of the gin & tonic.

Booked a table in the summer for a special occasion. We were not disappointed with the service we received and our meal. We had a close friend over from New Zealand and wanted a very nice restaurant. Will definitely return very soon. The staff extremely friendly.

After a delightful afternoon I thought to take the time to write a wonderful review, I’ll start off by the gracious warm welcome we received it was so lovely to see the local shoot having there dinner with the roaring fire blazing on all our backs such a traditional pub that has a real local warm feeling. The staff were so so friendly after our meal we sat down in front of the fire and we chatted to the young lady who was serving us and the gentleman behind the bar he was particularly very friendly and was very inviting and somehow convinced us to have more and more coffee not that we was complaining, Me and my wife are looking forward to going again if not only for the good chat with the staff and atmosphere, I wish I could spend everyday in there. Our fourth time eating at the Plough and I’m delighted it lived up to our expectations again! Such a lovely building, quality furnishings and friendly staff. I have never been disappointed by the delicious food, lunch or dinner, and positively relish in trying as much on the menu as we can. Good job!

Went here to eat for the second time, having really enjoyed the first occasion last year. The menu had changed and had gone from being quite diverse and almost fine dining, to a menu of pub food. Having said that, all was well presented, large portions and the staff were great. If I lived closer we would probably go again, but won’t make a special effort to drive there again

Stopped here last Sunday on our way home for Sunday lunch, what a lovely place, its recently been refurbished and they have done an amazing job of it. We were lucky as we got the last table available for Sunday lunch. It was quite hilarious watching people come in through the door and walking round the glass floor area which looked down into the wine sellar. Food was excellent all four of us had roast beef. Staff were very attentive when needed and we really enjoyed it.

Can’t recommend this place enough! Absolutely superb food, with the politest, friendliest staff. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was so welcoming from the second we walked in. The food was divine with excellent portions. The surroundings were very well done. This was our first time at The Plough this evening and we came for a special meal as it is my Mum’s 70th Birthday. Nice pub, beer was good, looks recently done out, food was fairly good, chicken in the meal wasnt freshly cooked, a bit dry but was still ok, but expected better. Friendly staff. It wouldn't put me off going back.

this was my second visit and we both enjoyed the food as much as before but unfortunately it was all very slow. 45 minutes to receive a starter from ordering and 35 minutes to receive two cold desserts from ordering is excessive.

Myself and 3 of my friends meet up every month or so for a catch up dinner and choose a different local restaurant / pub each time. The Plough was next on our list and I couldn't wait. It's a pleasant drive away and easily found just on the corner of the main street with parking to the side of the building. The property itself is just my cup of team with a converted barn feel to it, huge windows and lovely contemporary rustic interior. Our young waitress and waiter were exceptional and made us feel very welcome with their friendly service. We all ordered the lasagne and I have to say it is probably the best lasagne I have ever eaten, and believe me I've eaten plenty of them! My friends had sticky toffee pud for dessert which they all enjoyed and I had the chocolate and raspberry torte with sorbet. It was completely devine with a beautiful velvety fruity dark chocolate flavour almost like red wine. The food was generous, beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. I enjoyed it so much I'm going to book again for my husband's birthday with our daughters and can't wait to return.

We went on a Tuesday evening as a birthday treat, Greeted by Mark who looked after us for the evening. We both had the scallops to start which were ok but I thought the black pudding could have been a little crisper, we then had one steak and one lamb shank both were very tasty and steak cooked rare as requested. Veg nice and fresh and not over cooked.

Very disappointing. Started as a fine dining restaurant, excellent surroundings and ambience. Now no better than pub grub, with a long wait. Service friendly but slow, no manager overseeing proceedings. I would describe it as little better than a cafe.
