When myself came to the plough it was very good experience and the staff are lovely and friendly towards customers and especially Danny whom is in kitchen very well organised and professional and front of house staff very good service whom is chelsea & Emily . Very happy and will definitely be coming here more often Kind regards Shannon :)

We were meeting for an informal lunch. This place was perfect. Food was very good, great prices and plenty of choice. Staff were very friendly and service was lovely. Would definitely visit again

The staff who served us were excellent! BUT we ( only 2 of us) had to wait 45 minutes for our food on a Monday lunchtime when the place was not busy!! The place itself was really shabby and could definitely do with an update.

We came in to have dinner we haven’t been for a long time because it started to go down hill, but we heard from our friends that the new manager that had stepped in is already managing to turn it around, so we tried it and they were 100% right! Food was amazing a hell of alot better than what we have had there, the atmosphere was so much better, the staff actually working and enjoying themselves having a laugh, you can see the manager has already tried to spruce the place up a bit to make it look better and it just feels different when you walk in, we met Daisy and she stopped for a chat to introduce herself and to make sure everything was ok with our meals which again we never had previously, it was lovely to actually have a conversation with the manager of the pub as we never saw the old one and to make it even better she was happy and bubbly, we will 100% be coming back while she is there 😀

Abominable food. I ordered a plate for three but it came for one person.very small and no tasty. (salt and chilli chicken 😄 no salt no chilli)

10/10 experience for brother's 21st birthday party with family and friends using the plough's private room area which was perfect! Great priced drinks, with a 2 for £8.75 on cocktails deal, and the room was the perfect size for a big group. Big thanks to Lorraine, Emily and Daisy ❤️ Would highly recommend, the evening couldn't have been better!

No grilled chicken so very limited dishes available ! No alternative offered. Tills down so couldnt place orders with kitchen . Poorly trained staff

Had a fab night out! Great food, Emily, and Zack looked after us really well. Thanks must go to the kitchen, too- although I don’t know names - great job, guys. Piping hot food, fluffy crunchy chips all delivered by the lovely Emily - quick service with a smile. We will be back!

Great pub, pleasant and always pretty relaxed in there. Does get busy but you can always get a table. Drinks are great with some cocktail choices too and food is good too, think “spoons” style with fair prices. Recommend it, service is always decent.

Food was very nice but when we got to the plough there was no one behind the bar waited 10 minutes before someone come out but went over to the singer was in conversation with her for another 10 minutes when we were eventually served she told I did not have a table booked I said I booked through the app she gave us a table when I asked how long was the wait for food was told as long as it takes to cook we're very busy and no staff as this was our anniversary we went to see the ABBA show but because we're treated so bad we left after our meal which ruined our night out I think the person name was Lorraine she seemed in a bad mood as soon as we got there she shouldn't take it out on paying customer as we use this pub a lot with family and friends not happy customer with service we received

Bartenders are super nice and a lot of fun. Food was good but no way to customize an order within the app.

Stopped on the way back home from a day out at Bourton-on-the-water at 6-00. Very friendly staff, we both had the Surf 'n' turf I like a hot meal hot and it was hot. A really nice meal out with great service.

Visited as a group of 3 adults and 4 children. Phoned before and booked a table with the lady taking my call being polite, friendly and double checking my enquiries. Arrived and we were greeted and seated. All staff were helpful, friendly and engaging. Tables, cutlery and toilets all clean and a mix of football and paralympics were shown on the tvs. Lorraine is a woman who knows how to organise her team very well and it shows in the service you receive-excellent!! Food was enjoyed by ALL our group. Much appreciated!

Customer service was very very bad. We heard staff screaming in the kitchen. Very unpleasant too. Wouldn't come here again and food takes hours to come.

When ordering food, the cashier was very unpleasant and unprofessional and unfriendly. It was a very bad experience, and mainly service was poor. The staff team was also having problems and quarrels which was very weird.

We arrived this evening for a reunion of friends and family while visiting from Australia and were welcomed by a friendly member of staff to assist with a comfortable area for our party to grow throughout the evening. The bar team were great Emily had a wonderful talent of remembering our drinks order thought out the evening and was amazing with the children when the attempted to order there own drinks and desert. Bar staff were all very friendly and the food was quick and well presented. Thank you all. Amazing and well worth a visit.

Great welcome, good venue and wonderful place to meet up with friends. I was there during the olympics al the latest games updates. We meet on a regular basis at the Plough as a convienient location and great service. Special mention to John who is a fantastic host !!!

I love The Plough. Best value food around. Tribute beer is not bad either. Would like some Craft beers on tap like Brixton or Camden Lager. Staff are great and friendly as are the customers.

We were very warmly welcomed with our 2 young kids at this lovely venue having stopped on the way to visitng family. Quickly seated, served great food, it had good facilities, and attentive staff. Sometime eating out with kids become tricky as plates can come out hot, they have to use adult sized cutlery and don't always get their food before the adults, but at the Plough they did everything right! They were the first to get their food, on plates that were cool enough to touch and with child sized cutlery. And the staff were so attentive to them as they passed us, checking if our food was OK. May make this a regular stopping place on our way to visiting family in the future.

Good pub grub with some interesting additions - I had the chicken gyros and it was lovely. Excellent staff - John went above and beyond for us and was super friendly with a great sense of humour. A really nice meal out with friends in a very relaxed environment.

Ordered from the menu for a takeaway it turned up piping hot and the burgers were delicious will definitely use again. There's always a great atmosphere in the bar area and it's right on my doorstep

We visited last week as a family, pre-booking our table as my parents are both disabled and this can sometimes be challenging for places. I couldn't be more wrong, from the first phonecall the customer service was excellent. The table booked for us was perfect for them to be at the table and not feel like they were in anyone's way. Massive shout out to Lorraine who is the epitome of customer service. She served us the whole time and nothing was too much bother, from ordering the food with our fussy requests, offering to cut my mum's meal up as she struggled with her hands. My Dad bless him dropped a fair bit of food to which I asked for a dustpan to clear up but was told not to worry as she would clear it after we left. We were very grateful for the service received - thank you The menu offers a wide range of pub grub and what we ordered was lovely.

Really nice meal, and after a slight hiccup where I asked to take away the rest but it had been discarded they insisted on making another portion to take with us. Really hospitable and generous, we'll be back!

Hot day, so quite relaxing meal. Meals were excellent, very hot. Better than previous meals I've had there.

Nice food and friendly atmosphere did have to wait a little for the food but I think there was a darts game happening plus they have online orders coming in so it's understandable

we asked the steak medium well but it was way overcooked and dry. the mac n cheese as main was not more then i would call a side. they have breakfast but till midday but they open at 12?.. website menu misleading and not informative. we come from Bournemouth and we left disappointed..

Myself and a friend were on our way home from a day out. We decided just to stop off for something to eat this pub was the first place we saw. The pub itself was quiet at that time. The food was good, the service was good and the staff were friendly and accommodating I can't ask for much more really..

Friendly staff but The service was slow , 3 dinners arrived and one did not . Had to ask where my food was ! Wrong puddings served also . Food was well cooked . Wasn’t very busy but the wait time was shockingly slow . Regardless of service error the venue was clean and had a good all round atmosphere. Could have done with either extra staff or staff willing to rally round to everyone’s satisfaction. Overall we enjoyed our food

Friendly staff 😊 , food was great . The only negative point, when we asked for tartar sauce at the till, told us food comes with it, but once they serve the food , was no tartar sauce.when we asked, we only got two sachets of sauce, apart from this, everything was great sn definitely will come back 🪻😊thank you

The plough accommodated us after we were let down for my brothers 40th birthday, they only had a few hours to get extra staff in as there were 17 of us. The lady on the phone (Sam) was amazing. When we got there we were welcomed with smiley faces and they couldn’t accommodate us enough. Honestly the whole atmosphere was amazing. Sam was brilliant such a lovely lady and she also got in two staff that were on their day off. When we finally got round to ordering our food as there were lots of children lol. We were amazed and surprised at home great the food looked. Honestly the food was amazing really tasty. We all said we’d all definitely go back. My family came from high Wycombe and Maidenhead and said they’d definitely travel just to come back to the plough again. So a massive thank you and well done to the staff at the plough. We can’t thank you all enough. See you again soon.

Me mum dad and my sister went out to the plough to Celebrate my birthday 28th March for the first time as we just moved to Aylesbury and the staff behind the bar was very helpful and friendly and the food was excellent it was freshly cooked and hot . But to the Restaurant need to change the drink menu that you had other drinks behind the bar like Carsburg I ordered that was not on the menu Otherwise. It is worth returning to. And any one reads this in Aylesbury the plough is Worth to book and price are good

We had a party of 17 for a birthday and another establishment had let us down last minute and we contacted this place and a lovely lady called Sam accommodated us last minute the staff were amazing and food was fantastic I would definitely travel again to come here it's an amazing place ❤️

Absolutely amazing food I had the greek burger from the new menu jalapenos gyros chicken Greek sauce bit of cheese and perfectly cooked chips with a fresh Guinness. Wonderful! Sue the bar lady was fantastic really welcoming and happy to help. If you are passing please give it a go well worth the money if I had my phone on me I would of taken pictures to show you how lovely the food and service was. Very family orientated food prices great food and puka Guinness. Go there and find out if you are passing or local. Again I would like to thank SUE for her second to none service with a smile. You will be seeing me again as you are now my new local.

One of the best pubs in Aylesbury to get some decent food. Always great service and a friendly welcome from Lorraine, she really is an asset to the place I hope she never leaves :)

Always a fantastic experience from a food and service perspective. Sue is amazing and always on hand with a smile and a caring word. She is a credit to the pub and the sizzler group in general. We'll be back again soon.

Always a lovely warm welcome and always so accommodating even as it was a last minute eating choice and Lorraine was helpful and even though it was so busy food was served in good time, hot and extremely tasty.

My friend puts some money in a soft toy machine the Machine got jammed and she lost her pound on speaking to the manager and the manager was very rude very abrupt about saying that the machine was off when it was on and the...

The manager is extremely rude she even had a go at a child with disabilities I am extremely unhappy with the service me and my friends revived I am even thinking of not returning to this establishment.

I am not coming here again as the staff was extremely rude expesoly the manager Larron I lost some money in a toy merchine I waited for help a staff member turned it off so when the manager did see me the merchine was off the shouted at me asking why I put money in it at the point I put money in the marchine was on. So there was no reason for her response.

Excellent service from Sue. The new menu has a large variety of choices. We ordered mixed grill, tandoori chicken and surf and turf. Deserts were delicious too. Would recommend you to try it.

We popped in for lunch as we were passing. As soon as you walk in you can feel the friendly atmosphere. We were shown the new menu from which we ordered I had the vegetable dhansak and my husband had the chicken and mushroom pie....

My Sister inlaw has just recently moved to Aylesbury. We decided to go for a Pub lunch we chose the Plough as was the nearest we were welcomed and seated. We chose our food we were a party of 5 it was a new menu and the employee of the pub Sue was so very helpful and patient. Went down the plough on Saturday for a birthday surprise with my family, had a lovely meal and Sue served us she was very polite and as always very professional. We often come down for Sunday lunch and Sue is always there, she's a very hard worker always with a smile on her face.

Our visit was made by the lovely waitress we had called Sue, she was so polite, friendly and engaging. I would come back just to be served by her

We visited with family, we have 3kids and decided to pop out for dinner. The restaurant was very friendly and welcoming on a whole. Which makes a huge difference to the dinning experience. The atmosphere was really friendly. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and attentive - both the lady with the dark hair behind the bar and also an employee called John. The food was also delicious; all dishes served at the same time and just cooked. They were well presented and generous in size. Lovely, easy going lunch!

Had an evening meal here due to ‘sickness’ - yes, I was sick of cooking! Friendly service, careful over my allergies (even going into to kitchen to check as it’s not one of the regular allergies) prompt delivery of freshly cooked food….what more could anyone want?

We turned up on a busy Saturday evening without booking and unfortunately there were no tables available. Decided to stay for a drink anyway whilst we looked for somewhere else to go and before we were finished the lovely staff had managed to find a table to accommodate us. Food was very tasty and massive portions, very reasonably priced for what you get. The staff were all really lovely and very engaging with our son. Thank you to Sue and the really nice and helpful server we had (sorry, I didn’t get your name). We will definitely be back

Sue was our waitress lovely lady very friendly.

The staff were very friendly. Especially the young girl behind the bar. We had a long wait for our meal, not sure why as it wasn't particularly busy. As a non smoking couple,we didn't like having to walk passed the smokers to get to the entrance.

Quite busy and had to wait quite a while to be served and a 45 min wait for food to arrive. But food hot and good value for money. Sue behind the bar was very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Awful just awful 😖 Waited almost 1 hour to find the order wasn't complete! Ended up at McDonalds
