Went in today for a Sunday roast. The meal was really good .the staff were very attentive especially Mike who was polite and very helpful. Will certainly recommend a visit.

We have been coming here for years. Always nice crowd, food is great foe the price point and their new guy Pete really goes above and beyond!

We had a really nice time. My chicken new Yorker was great. Pete helped us with the food selection and always greeted with a smile

Ordered breakfast but was taking to long. they was aware of how many people would be there after our mothers funeral Before we travel to our destinations

Was visiting friends and stopped by here for lunch with them. They had great things to say about the place and they were right. It was a Saturday afternoon so it wasn't too busy but many tables were occupied. The taste was amazing, we ordered different types of food - nachos, wings, burgers, tenders and of course chips (fries) and all were great. Nachos were unique and must try. Haven't ordered many drinks but will recommend for family meals as the food options are also kid friendly.

Went their today with my partner food was terrible food came out cold sent back all they did was warm up the bacon sent it back out my chips was just warm my corn on the cob was cold did not offer to do other plate of food they also for got the bread when they did bring it out the butter was to hard to spread on the bread will not be eating back there and the pub was cold had to keep my coat on service was terrible 😡what a waste of money

Great as always booked a table as took our daughter for her birthday with friends everyone had a lovely time and thanks to staff for doing cake with candles.

15 of us met up here for a Christmas get together. None of us local but wanted somewhere in the middle. At booking the staff were so helpful, especially when we needed to change arrival time. Most things available so something to suit everyone. Party ages from 8-70. Portions are huge so make sure you’re hungry. Reasonable pricing and no making us have a set menu as it’s Christmas. Thank you to the friendly, helpful staff.

Enjoyable meal which was cooked to prrfection even though it was varied. The staff are always helpful and make the extra effort to ensure everything is fine and we are happy.

Having been frequent visitors to the cotton wheel the atmosphere has been even better since Peter has joined the team he's so friendly welcoming and makes us feel right at home. Great team great food and even better now with a bit of eye candy

Today we had a pre Christmas family gathering for 16 people. Food was on time, hot & delicious. All the staff were friendly

Lovely environment here. Came for food and drinks. Dwayne always has a friendly smile on his face, cracks jokes and takes time and care when taking orders which is greatly appreciated!

Felt a little soulless. Advertised as showing the rugby but no sound applied and just a bit dull. Decently priced beer and quite a range. Food wasn't special but decent value.

Just had a beautifully organised car breakfast meet at the Cotton Wheel. Staff are a credit, very friendly and helpful. Loved the food and drinks, let us use our own cups as they are branded just for us. Very down to earth manager, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back.

My husband had fish chips I had the breakfast fish chips were fine but the breakfast I had was under done bacon was raw almost beans were not nice sausage seemed under done all together did not like

We visited on a busy weekend for food. With 2 vegans in our party. There were a few choices vegan options and all were available. We were served promptly and the food came quickly. All was as expected and tasty. The staff were all pleasant. Thank you Gabi and her team.

My family and I dining in this restaurant/pub for many years now. I like the stuff friendliness and food. Today, I said to the waiter to tell the chef that the food was delicious! I didn't have such good onion rings and fries for a long time in any restaurant I visited in the last couple of years. Someone would ask what can be so difficult about cooking onion rings or fries. Well, trust me it can spoil the whole meal for you. Both were perfectly cooked, not soaked in oil or dry or uncooked, and as I said best I had in years! The burger was amazing too, of course, all meals were very enjoyable and I am not exaggerating! We will definitely return soon for more. 😊

Came out tonight with my mum and siblings not only was the food great but we had the pleasure of being served by amazing people Dwayne,Holly,kieran,Ella would recommend highly as a go to family hot spot by the way the candy mania was amazing

Absolutely luv these folks. I noticed something worthy of mentioning here. Dwayne was at the bar and there were not many customers so he started wiping and cleaning the vending machine, it’s really inspiring to see someone looking after the restaurant like their own home. All staffs are very kind and good food too.

Dwayne and the team what a wonderful service you provide to your customers !! Amazing food and a wonderful hospitality . If you haven’t been here, it’s definitely recommended cheap and well worth the money. Dwayne always outshines his role and should be praised for his well gifted kindness and welcoming smile. Travelling from Northampton regularly we're here every fortnight. The food and quality of service from staff is very friendly and approachable!! Food is alway good quality and well worth the price. Dwyane is always so customer facing and he is ever so kind and welcoming Well done team :)

We come here regularly now for quick, easy and relaxed meals and haven't been disappointed yet to be honest! Since their refurb a few years ago to become a more family friendly/dining focused pub, there has been such a lovely atmosphere. Their app is easy to use, it's always clean (no sticky tables!) and the staff are lovely. Menu has loads of options and they keep the app updated if anything is out of stock, which helps with fussy kids as can check in advance! On today's visit we came with 3 other families doing several different orders at the same time - all our food was hot and came out in a really reasonable time. Will always be back, it's so nice to have a decent amd reliable 'local' to go to. Thanks guys!

We went today with my family, we went last year wasn't so good but thought we would try again give it a second try, the food was lovely piping hot and the kids meals was also good their burgers was juicy and not dry at all. The staff was very efficient and polite and friendly.

Excellent service from the team, even on a busy night. They had a 30 minute wait on food but only took 15 minutes, staff were friendly, especially Dwyane on the bar. And our waitress Hollie was very helpful, even recommended a desert for me. Definitely coming again.

Bar staff can be few and far between at lunchtimes, when I visit. Food is cheap and cheerful and decent quality for the price. Staff are cheerful and friendly

I do happen to spend a-lot of time here but it’s a pleasant experience, food is extremely good considering the deals you can get, never been disappointed. Today my friend left her phone behind and the staff did their upmost to find the owner. I have to say, Gabi, Dwain and Callum, look after you. Also, Barry does a fabulous job of comparing Rock and roll bingo, Thank you to you all.

Me and my partner came to the pub today for a little bit of food and a couple of drinks for a date night. I cannot fault it. The food was lovely and I can’t say a bad word about the staff, the atmosphere here is brilliant. Every time we come we are welcomed and made to feel super comfortable. Dwayne and the bar staff are amazing they make you feel so comfortable and you can have a little giggle with them. We will be back again soon. Thank you for a lovely evening!!

The steak was a bit tough and dry, I had the steak sizzler, but everything else was fine.

Very enjoyable Sunday lunch gammon was cooked beautifully and the roast was very good too.

We came for an evening out for my mother’s birthday. Ordered a steak which was supposed to be medium, first came out well done, then replaced with an extremely rare steak. So sent back. Except our birthday girl got a special surprise and found a hair in her lasagna. Simple to say we’ve already called to cancel our further bookings. (The manager was lovely and sorted us out a partial refund but safe to say the chef needs to learn their health and safety training again)

Slow to serve drinks after ordering on app. Slow on food service. Ordered a well done steak and was rare at best. Better places around for the same vibe.

We walked to the pub to watch the football this was the only one in Aylesbury show sky sports the bar staff were stressed at one point there was only the girl was serving one time I went up to the bar to order a drink and she was having a argument with the chef through her land yard at the young man and she walked out there were loads of used glasses on the bar and we had to use our gin glass because she was going to put a gin and tonic in a wine glass 😖 later they said there was no cola or lemonade 🍋

Cheap eating and comfortable surroundings

My partner and I went for a meal and decided to visit the Cotton Wheel, Aylesbury. We both went for the fish and chips and ordered salad in replacement of the always offered peas, ( not everyone likes peas!!) The " salad " was absolutely awful, 4/5 leaves of sad looking rocket, yep!! that's it. Looking at this I was most annoyed that my phone was left at home. Most pubs offer at least three varieties of salad, some more. I refrained from making a complaint otherwise the rest of the meal would have been spoiled, disappointing. The meal was cheap and otherwise reasonable value, so salad lovers, bewere !!

Friendly and nice food. My nan used to come here regularly before she passed away recently. Knew everyone by name and they even let her take her leftovers home. Such welcoming atmosphere as most of our family get togethers here. Thanks guys for helping my family create memories

Went as a group. Food was good, nice portions. Served on hot plates too which I think is important. Staff nice and polite and friendly.

Came for a meal out with friends and left hungry! To start with the staff came across as if they just couldn't be bothered to be there. The food wasn't very edible! One meal had to go back as it was cold, the steak was 50% fat and the rest of it looked like it had just been threatened with the fryer! Again, when we told the staff they couldn't care less! Don't expect much from these places, but food you can actually eat would have been nice!! Put a bit of a dampener on a nice day!

Had a lovely meal this evening. The pub was very busy when we got there but the service was quick and even though the staff seemed rushed the service was attentive and friendly. The dinners were amazing quality and portion sizes fantastic. We highly recommend
