A group of 8 thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Plant Pot.. The room beautifully decorated, the table attractively set out, excellent food beautifully cooked and presented, in a warm and friendly atmosphere and served by very attentive staff. Every detail thought of and anticipated. A very warm thanks to all. We shall look forward to coming again.

I've been trying to think of a suitably 'plant pot' pun on words for my title, just so that it draws as many visitors in as possible, because such a response would be much deserved. Sadly, my imagination and my vocabulary fail me, but I would recommend a visit to the Plant Pot, bijou but brilliant, friendly and welcoming and just serving good, wholesome, tasty food. We landed at the Plant Pot mid afternoon, after a morning sight seeing and only really intended to have a cup of coffee but, once sitting comfortably outside and observing a little bit of village life and perusing the menu, we ended up having a very late simple lunch of filled baked potato and salad, home made cake and the intended cup of coffee. The lovely lady who served us was welcoming and friendly and our food was well presented and delicious. We were new to Nettleham but are considering Lincoln as a retirement location and scouting out villages near to the city, Nettleham certainly seems to fit the bill and the presence of the Plant Pot gives it another tick.

Exceptional! Friendly, attentive staff who went out of their way to cater for dietary requirements. Lovely setting, and even entertained my 10 month old grand daughter. Will definitely visit here again.

We've recently moved to the village and are slowly trying out every venue, we decided on The Plant Pot Cafe for our anniversary breakfast. It didn't disappoint. Freshly cooked, well presented and very tasty full English. Staff were very lovely too. Kept us full until tea time Would recommend and we will definately return.

Great breakfast menu. I highly recommend the hash browns + coffee is good too. Defo worth an excursion to. I’ve heard the evening menu is worth checking out too.

Tucked away just off Nettleham Green we had passed this place many times unnoticed until we called for coffee one day. We returned for an evening meal and were delighted that we had. The prices, service and food were excellent. Our Chef for the evening was Alex who clearly cares that the presentation of your meal is of equal importance to its taste. Our overall opinion is reflected in the unanimous verdict "This is what a creme brulee should be like. It's the best I've had in years."

We saw this chippy the last time we visited Caistor and went to Savages instead however we thought we would give it a try today. We ordered Haddock and chips and the pigs in blanket sausage curry, peas and gravy. The haddock was big (ordered large) however the fish had the skin left on it which put my son off and me to be fair however it was easy to remove. Pigs in blanket batter was ok however the sausage was steamed inside so wasn’t very tasty. Overall was ok and alot cheaper than savages however probably wouldn’t go back.

We had Sunday lunch here and it was beautiful made! The roast potatoes were delicious and the parsnips and carrots cooked beautifully. Every part of the meal was well cooked and the seasonings used for each one made them delicious on there own or together. The beef lovely and pink but pull apart tender. The staff were lovely, so friendly and helpful. When we asked if we could have cauliflower on its own and without cheese as one of us can’t have it, they were so lovely and arranged it for us. The price was more than reasonable for a delicious fresh meal and good drinks. Thank you. We will be back for sure
