Dinner last night was absolutely superb. A great varied menu. Super fresh seafood. Friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. We all enjoyed it immensely. The chefs are a married couple and they came and chatted to us. It is clearly their passion.

Wonderful meal. Each course was absolutely brilliant with great quality ingredients used to generate fabulous flavours across meat, fish and seafood dishes. Staff were very friendly and although one was inexperienced she couldn't be nicer and more helpful.

Scallops with sweetcorn puree and chorizo starters were delicious, and my sole main and husband's rib eye steak were just perfect. We love this family-run restaurant and visit every time when in Bournemouth. No wonder it's rated 2 out of 478.

Went out for birthday meal , and we had amazing experience! Food was delicious! Very big portions. the owner who served us was very nice to chat to! We would definitely go back !

Absolutely spot on dinner. Bottle of Prosecco. Catch of the Day (Skate) was elegantly done, exactly right with fresh herbs, olive oil and new potatoes. The Tofu with fungi compote and kimshi was a fusion stroke of genious. If you have one meal in Bournemouth, make it here.

I recently stayed at THE PLACE Hostel and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the essentials I needed for a pleasant stay. The common areas were cosy and inviting, perfect for relaxing and meeting other travellers. The location was ideal, with easy access to public transportation and popular attractions. The hostel also offered a variety of amenities, including free Wi-Fi, a communal kitchen, and a complimentary breakfast that was both delicious and convenient.

One of our favourite date night restaurants in Bournemouth! We tried the cauliflower with Adobo and peanut starter and wow was incredible! Steaks were so tasty and service impeccable as always!

The Place to be it should be but on a rainy Saturday lunchtime in July the four of us had it to ourselves…what a treat we had Potato Gravas Thai Tom Yum Chicken the Korean open sandwich and a lovely bottle of dry white wine. The owners even gave us a cake with a candle as it was one of our parties birthdays…lovely! A hidden gem and a great alternative to all the usual chain restaurants for sure.

Best place in Bournemouth for decent breakfast! We went for the breakfast tacos and french toast both very delicious! Nice atmosphere, staff super lovely and welcoming. Everything clearly run with love and passion. Woulf reccomend for anyone to try. Everything 10/10

We wanted to try somewhere new in Bournemouth and stumbled on this place which only had 5 star reviews. It seemed too good to be true! But no, having visited, I can truly say it is 5 star all round. Food is interesting, cocktails great, service knowledgeable and just the right amount of attentiveness. We have already booked to return and can’t wait. Try this place - you won’t be disappointed by The Place!

Just discovered this wonderful place. The restaurant is decorated well, music is playing creating a nice ambiance. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The menu is imaginative and varied including vegan options. The food was absolutely delicious, we had 3 meals: 1. mini flatbread with meat 2. Vegan nachos 3. Vegan curry. All were fantastically prepared and presented. This 'Place' is a real gem and a shining star in a town with mostly average and 'fast foodie' type restaurants. Highly recommended and as locals this will become a 'go to' option for us. We're going back to try the breakfast Sunday morning as the menu options look great.

We had an excellent lunch here yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact so much so we returned for breakfast this morning. I had the vegan full breakfast and my husband had Franceshina, both really tasty. Our new favourite restaurant, we will return!

Top notch food with excellent service, quickly becoming one of my favourite places to eat in Bournemouth.

A long awaited return from Cornwall to this superb restaurant. Food was excellent, and the owners cooking and waiting tables made it a real family-run, caring experience. A couple arrived who wanted items from the lunch menu and not the evening one, but they happily obliged. Nothing is too much trouble. This restaurant should be in the top 5 in Bournemouth, as we've tried many, but this is consistently far better than most. Prices are reasonable too for the quality of food. Menus change each season. My prawn fritters and skate wing were delicious. We've booked to return before we go home.

Such nice owners and was beautifully decorated for xmas 🎄 the vegetarian food was fantastic and they had yummy sounding specials, I wanted everything so will be going back 100% to get what I missed!

Had my birthday meal with friends here and it’s incredible! Owners and staff are so accommodating and their food is stunning! Their burgers are one of the best ive had! Incredible and such good value for money. Highly highly HIGLY recommend.

Under the radar spot, book a table while its still relatively easy to do so, once more people know about this PLACE booking will be essential.

Family owned independent business, flying somewhat under the radar with some great dishes and fusions, surely the most varied restuarant in Bournemout, has a mix of traditional foods and some international dishes, Poland, Eastern Europe for exampe, all freshly cooked and prepared, food to suit every taste, don't forget to try a dessert and the coffee is pretty good to. Its certainly not what we expected to find in Bournemouth Triangle in terms of quality and price. Be prepared to be suprised in a good way!

Went to the Place Bournemouth last night with a large group of friends and it was amazing! We had the Christmas Buffet and the quality and taste of the food was unbelievable! Great Christmas atmosphere. There was something for everyone and we had such a good time! Highly recommend!

The food was absolutely delicious and the service from Simon & Alla was cracking. I only wish we had found this gem of a place sooner on our trip to Bournemouth. Definitely, our favourite place to eat in Bournemouth!

We found the ambience and background music outstanding and were greeted with a warm welcome The menu was short but we each remarked that everything sounded good and we could have tried all the menu. In the end two of us had scallops, one mussels and the other that beef wrap. Each was delicious and very acceptable. The main courses were two of the days special, red fish and the others lamb shanks. Beautifully presented and very tasty, we finished off with Elton ness and a banoffee pie all washed down with an excellent red wine. Thank you. We will be back.

I’m not surprised the place only has 5 star reviews. The food quality is excellent, there is love and thought in every dish, and it’s great value for money. You certainly won’t go home hungry, and the family that own and run the restaurant are lovely.
