Took the family here after a day out in the town, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Highly recommend after a day out shopping for a refreshing drink.

A good local pub in rye. Well worth a visit.

Tourist, alone. Just had one beer no food. Very friendly bar maid, put my tip in the charity box.

Got wasted, saw a dinosaur on the way home. Crazy night!

We went Saturday lunchtime around 1:30pm. We were the only ones in there, which for us was nice because we got a seat!

Moving up the rankings , a lot more going in here now. Quiz nights Wednesday, music Friday/Saturday & some other nice bits 🙂

We had a lot of fun at one of the live music nights. Great covers band, friendly bar staff and great vibes.

Beautiful pub, was there for live music. Unfortunately it had to stop at 11 on the dot. This is due to neighbours complaining and no reflection on the staff whatsoever

It's a great pub in Rye for music. But only 2 working behind the bar so slow getting served as there are 3 bars so people jump in front of you . As the staff don't seem to register you as needing to be served .

Had my granddaughters 21st in here ,staff were absolutely amazing ,landlady couldn't have been more helpful such a lovely person, drinks are a great price too such a warm friendly atmosphere will definitely be going again

We had our daughters 21st birthday there last night. The landlady and all the staff went above and beyond for my daughter. The atmosphere was so welcoming will be definitely be booking another function there and going in on the odd weekend

Friendly pub - nice land lady let us watch the football. Friendly locals. Good selection of drinks. My only issue is that the ladies toilets didn't have a lock and had no toilet paper but apart from that, all was fine!

Horrible publicans. Extremely rude and rats running around the pub. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Really nice new owners, desperately trying to make it work, and we're only too keen to help them. To be honest, the Harvey's wasn't the best YET, but when they've got some more customers I'm sure that will be fine. They're not doing food YET, but once they get their feet under the table and get sorted - and they build up a good customer base - we're sure the food will follow - and we'll be there to try it. I'm sure it will be good as Sarah's enthusiasm is infectious. The decor, though quite plain, is clean, and a hundred times better than it used to be. Can't wait until the new owners get the place off the ground. Good luck Sarah, we'll be there to support you!

Lovely friendly pub in quaint Rye Town. Live music, good choice of beer and great welcoming atmosphere.

Disappointing pub. I went there on a Saturday night when a band was on. The landlady was to busy dancing to serve customers. One other person serving couldn't cope with people wanting serving. I had one pint of Sussex bitter, which was good. Then went elsewhere after waiting too long to get served.

Fun place for lunch nice people

Very bare but we were attending a wake but the place looked very tired.

New management taken over, went in during the week a while back it was cold and quiet and many of the ales weren't on. Very disappointed. However Saturday had my stag party ended up here blinding pub live music plenty ales on tap. Excellent pub for late night weekend music when it's on.

Very rude staff member behind bar, never been anywhere like it nor do I ever want to, very bad experience! Would not recommend to even to use the toilet never mind anything else!!!

No sport on, lots of reviews here say there is and top hit on maps but no tvs

A really lovely pub with amazing staff! I didn't get the lady's name who was working at lunchtime today (19th Feb) but she was so helpful to my brother and I. She lent us her phone when we had no signal and helped us try to get home when we were stuck because of bad weather! We had a lovely pint and a delicious burger and chips that you could tell was homemade. We were made to feel so welcome and looked after and I'd recommend this pub to anyone

Little gem Sunday roast was to die for Good selection of beers Staff could not do enough to make you feel welcome. One not to miss in rye 5 star plus

Lunch was restricted but we enjoyed what we had.Goddardsbeer not impressed with STAFF very pleasant.

Since the new owners have renovated, this is a bright, friendly and comfortable pub. It's hard to shake off a bad reputation but Sue and Dave offer a warm welcome and a cold beer. I'm looking forward to dining here once the kitchen refurbishment is complete. They have a great Jukebox, too!

Not quite finished yet after the refurb but a nice friendly welcome and the pub looks much fresher and cleaner.

No food, not even crisps. Only just reopened after refurbishment so the place looks good.

Lovely friendly welcome, loads of real ale choices, fair prices, very comfortable seats. Loads space car parking, highly recommended

Not many pubs open on a Monday night in Rye so came across the Pipemakers Arms received a walm welcome from the governor spent a couple of hours in there great pint of Gunness as well as a good selection of gins pleasant night had by all

Brilliant pub. Had the best nights in there last week . So reasonably priced. Friendly service lovely people running the bar and chatty locals . Loved it

Very friendly hosts, lovely people and great value drinks... The atmosphere was brilliant... Perfect venue for bands... Dead Calm were playing that night, we had the time of our lives... A proper pub... Superb... If you require a taxi home, book it early in the night...

Traditional pub. Friendly staff and good prices. Could do with upolstery upgrading & better seating arrangement in areas (take out big tall table & put in another corner bench. Rip all the old carpets out.. a fresher smell & look throughout.

This Pub is very comfortable and period in construction, the interior olde Worlde, the staff serve excellent beer & Lager, because they keep a good cellar, we have visited several times over the years, weekends they have great Bands 👍

Cute little bar, feels like you are an outsider at first but as soon as you sit down you feel right at home.

Walked in and everyone stopped what they were doing and stared. Asked for a drink from the lady at the bar and she made us feel unwelcome. We had one drink and left.

Lovely little pub I stumbled across whilst in Rye recently. Was the only pub to show the football so my partner was happy. Lots of seating areas both inside and outside. Also had a live band playing on the Friday night. Definitely recommend

Best pub in town - live music every Sat and some fridays also - good pool table and outdoor seating for fine days. There is usually parking available if non patrons stop using it!!!
