Went here for a gig on NY Eve and had a great time : excellent sound, lovely bar staff, great atmosphere. Will definitely return next time I'm in Brighton

We happened to walk past here on our way to our hotel and heard 🤘music. Dropped our bags and ran straight back! Perfect way to spend NewYears Eve. The bands were awesome. We didn't get to try any of the vegan food, but there are plenty of beers at reasonable prices. The bartenders were attentive and the security staff were on top of it. Shout out to Thomas for running our new favorite Brighton metal / punk bar .

Thomas and the Pipeline team are INCREDIBLE!!! They hosted our birthday gig/party there last weekend and we had such an amazing blast... Could not recommend the venue, the music and the DELICIOUS FOOD enough 🤩🤩🤩🤩 Definitely one of the best PUBS, if not THE BEST PUB IN BRIGHTON 🥳🥳🥳 Keep shinning on you crazy beautiful diamonds... Bartender was so lovely and helpful, would come again and recommend to many people. Also new tshirt design is awesome

The place itself seemed like it would be right up my street, sadly this was not the case. The website states 'our kitchen is always open' however on arriving, we were told they only serve food on Fridays and over the weekend. Service felt a little standoffish - perhaps only fully welcoming to locals. Nice beer, though.

A great place to see bands in the small room upstairs. Punky, hot & sweaty in a very good way. Beer choice could be better (cask ale?) but there are a couple of 'craft' options. Amazing location, central but tucked away from the hen parties and day trippers. Proper old skool!

The Pipeline is one of my favourite bars in Brighton. The bar staff are great, the music's loud (it is a rock bar after all!), and they have an excellent range of shots!

Absolutely traditional rock pub....can't recommend it highly enough. Friendly bar, friendly punters, friendly staff, reasonably priced drinks and the coolest music stage upstairs.

Food? Service? Leave it out! It’s a gig venue! And a very good one, at that. It’s tiny, but the sound is great, the people are nice and the drinks aren’t too expensive. Always have good bands and promoters here, decent equipment. A great place all round. Clapp

In a small room above the bar you will find a venue that some how contains some of the biggest sounds on the south cost. Often hosts the best gigs on n the south of England making the train journey for London well worth it - when there isn’t a train strike these always a late train to get you home.

Have been here for many gigs in the upstairs room, but I haven't tried the food yet (I've heard very good things however) The staff are always super nice, the selection of drinks is good and it's nice knowing everything is vegan so I don't have to check, and the sound is great for a small venue. Some of the most intense and sweaty moshpits I've been in have been at The Pipeline, due to the intimate gig space. When it's packed out it's a great atmosphere, and it's a great place to discover up and coming acts.

Great little pub in Brighton . Went to find it for vegan food as is 100% plant based meals . Staff were very friendly and recommended the food that I had.

Hidden away, this gem of a rock bar is definitely one to visit. The bar area is fairly small, but they have an area upstairs that houses bands. Didn't have time to go up and have a watch, but sounded good. Drinks were cheap and the music was good. Next time I'm in the area will definitely be visiting again.

Really cool little venue, gigs are held upstairs in the attic type area and it’s a really unique space. Sound is always great and the techs always go crazy with the lighting, the whole place doesn’t feel like it takes itself too seriously and invites you to have fun, I always enjoy gigs here and it’s a definite must visit if you’re in Brighton.

Fantastic old-school off-beat rock pub with a delicious all-vegan menu of small meals. The atmosphere here is second only to the lovely staff. Love it!

Only 1 star reviews for venues and pubs that have single use plastic glasses. Several pubs have tough reusable ones for a 50p deposit, so it's entirely possible. Other than that, it's a great small venue and pub.

I can’t comment on the food or the quality of the gigs, but a place that declines toilet to a 5 yo cannot be a place to recommend.

Visited to attend a gig. Didn't stay long.

Entered basically by accident and was happy to find myself in the the middle of an amazing concert. Sound was incredible for auch a small venue. Beer was good too :)

Great place hidden from main road. I really like the look and atmosphere. Always some unusual spirits and beers. And it's only getting better.

I played a show here with my band Karab a few weeks ago, the venue is intimate but has everything you could need, the crowd and other local bands to Brighton were great, really went for it. I had a blast. The staff were so friendly, completley made my night and the vegan food was incredible. I went for a 'duck' wrap and it was soo good. Cannot recommend enough. If you are in Brighton drop in.

Can't fault the Pipeline it's like the classic old music/rock/punk pubs that used to be so common before gentrification wiped them out, especially in London. Really friendly staff here and the food though Vegan is excellent (after all how much meat is there in a bl**dy normal hotdog). The vibe is such that if you want an alternative style pub that really has an eclectic mix this is the place to go in Brighton.

Fully vegan venue with a great menu at very reasonable prices. Decent selection of beers and a real rock n roll vibe.

Pipeline is a hidden gem just round the corner from the pier, serving vegan food, I had an amazing double bacon burger, great value for money. They have a punk and rock/heavy metal jukebox downstairs and a small live venue space upstairs with you can catch local and international touring bands alike!

Great little punk rock venue just off Brighton Sea front.

Great little rock bar on a quiet little side street behind Brighton Town Hall. It is super-friendly with lovely staff and regulars who will often converse with you. They have a fantastic vegan menu and the music is always rockin'! I have resolved to visit more often in the future. Highly recommended! 🤩

Surprised you can still find a bar like this in Brighton these days. Great atmosphere, great staff obviously it's quite small but that just adds to the charm I find you talk to people a lot more! Keep up with the band's too I've seen some great bands here and you can tell they care about the music! One of my favourites.

A REAL rootsy rock venue in the most plastic of towns. Downstairs for nice staff, great food and drink. Usually the promise of a small band upstairs which has a full sound system. I spoke to the manager who had GENUINE enthusiasm for the gigs. I found it refreshing and down to earth.

For a tiny bar they have a lot of great drinks to offer (they even had more than one non alcoholic beer available!). The vegan food menu here is great too. I had one of their hot dogs and my wife had their "Brody Dalle" burger both were really tasty. The upstairs venue is exactly what you want from a punk rock venue.

cool little Rock bar, music venue that originated from East london fairly close to Liverpool street station! the Chap who owns the music venue is Sweedish for all his Sins! if you like punk music then your like this bar! ENJOY!!!

I visited a few years ago when V bites ran the Vegan only venue. As an omnivore, I was impressed with V bites. However now the food is not worth it, insipid and no care or passion. Great music venue, terrible food. Bring back V bites.

Excellent service and great pub all round! Friendly, welcoming staff which greeted us immediately on arrival. No trouble finding a decent seat. Drinks arrived minutes after ordering and food arrived in good time. Excellent plant based/vegan pub. Well priced! Good music and atmosphere.

That's my second time and it is soooo yammmi.. love the food, the music and the atmosphere.. Google indicated as if we couldn't sit in, but the place is fully open for business and the team are very friendly!!!

What a lovely place. 100% vegan and you can't even tell. Its worth a visit. We tried the burgers, cheesy chips, and the kebab. We tried the beef and chicken burgers. Preferred the chicken Patti but both were delicious. Thanks

Hands down. One of the best places in Brighton for Vegan food. I'd reccomend the Suzie Quattro burger with a pint of stout. Can't wait to come back.

The jukebox needs more metal... other the that what a venue!! The staff were nothing but amazing, I order 2 plates of the vegan nachos which were sublime and arrived in such a timely manner. We came here tonight for a mates birthday to finish but next time I will be here to start for sure.

Very decent pub - ALL staff were friendly and professional, even the security who seemed at ease and welcoming. Beer was v good and the customers were all fine people who were respectful. Well run pub in the heart of the city.

Really good coffee here, I had an Americano with a vegan breakfast sandwich. Both were delicious.
