The Pine Tree in South Gloucestershire

3 panini's were purchased price ranging from £8.90 to £9.20 each and asked if we would like coleslaw which 2 of the party had. On getting home and checking the receipt realised that the coleslaw was an extra charge of .70p that I don't believe was mentioned or advertised. Very disappointed that a panini cost nearly £10 with very little salad. The amount of coleslaw was about about the size of a 'tea spoon full'.

I have visited this cafe on many occasions and it's always been busy, on this visit it was virtually empty despite being 11 o'clock. After watching the coffee being made I potentially could see why,and I wouldn't rush back. They made 2 coffees out of I gadget they use to put coffee into. So no wonder it tasted so weak. 🤔 and the cake was dry. Disappointed customers

Half a slice of very salty bacon in a standard sandwich friendly staff Sub standard food for Hiked up prices

Went for lunch and and ordered bacon Brie and cranberry panini, received only half the panini had bacon in it. I complained and they said they gave me a whole slice. ( if cutting the end part of the Bacon is called a whole slice?) plus where was the Brie? They done nothing about it , won’t be shopping there again

This place has so much going for it - nice premises as part of a good Garden Centre, with a lovely wood burner (when it's lit!), in a pleasant setting offering nice drinks, cakes and the like BUT all spoiled when two or three staff members emerged at 3.50 pm - 40 minutes before closing time at 4.30 pm - and swept the place through, noisily scraping wooden chairs across the floor, and removing crockery and trays etc from the tables. Must that happen when you have customers there who are looking for a bit of peace - can someone not start half an hour later and stay on half an hour longer to do that?

Lovely little garden centre with a cafe. Friendly staff and fast service. Very reasonable prices. Warm welcoming atmosphere. Generous portions and all homemade cakes unlike many cafes who buy frozen cakes and defrost them. Oreo millionaires shortbread and cherry bakewell sponge highly recommended
