Lovely place, very helpful and friendly staff, great atmosphere, delicious food and all areas very clean! Definitely one to visit during your tour of Belfast pubs!

First time in this venue and have to say we were very impressed with not only the variety of cocktails on the menu but also the fact that the staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Considering that it was December and it is always a very busy time of year that did not affect the quality of the service we received. We had a great experience and will definitely be back.

Cool warehouse vibe bar in city centre - don’t be put off by the entrance - industrial and dark - the roof top bar accessed by lift or stairs will not disappoint. Staff very friendly, lively atmosphere. However the toilets had no toilet paper dispensers nor toilet roll - diy!! Also please clean the floor of bar!

Had 1 drink & left, worst bar service I ever experienced,

Seems to have unfortunately gone downhill in recent times into an unruly mess when we visited, place wasn't cleaned, speakers failed to play the birdsong on the stairs which just summed up it's lack of character that once made it a nice spot.

Read the other reviews of this standard. It’s filthy. You’ll get a dirty glass. I watched bar staff take glasses from the dirty tray to load in the dishwasher and rinse them and use for cocktails. If short staffed it should not affect hygiene. Especially with the cost in the bar. If you’ve any sense you’ll avoid. I’ll never be back to any bar within the complex. They’re clearly all dirty. They may well have a good “5 stars” but it’s the consumer who really sees what happens!

Cocktails were great and a wide selection. Music was quite loud (for 5pm) and food was not available at all.

Awful… avoid at all costs!! Booked well in advance for a birthday party. On arrival we were completely blanked by the staff. Bar staff were extremely rude. Will never be back.

Best spot in Belfast if you want a cocktail!

Give this one a miss. Called in to have a drink before dinner and thought a rooftop bar would be a nice location. Sadly the Perch didn't hit the spot. Tacky decor & lighting, extremely loud music at 4/5pm, tables and menus were sticky and the place overall felt like it needed a deep clean. I didn't brave the toilets. The bar was also missing the ingredients for half the cocktails on the menu, so ordering was also a challenge. Stayed for one drink, out of politeness rather than desire, and got out of there. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Terrible, not enough seats, terrible service, customers seem stuck up and mostly underaged. The staff were incredibly cheeky, outdoor seating was soaked, a canopy would be a good investment, also no Expresso martinis? Staple cocktails passed over in favour of New age rubbish. 0/5

Had a great night with friends after some Christmas shopping. Staff were lovely and the drinks were great! The blond guy with tattoos (sorry, didn't catc h his name!) was super friendly, we'll definitely be back!

Really nice drinks but terrible service! Male bartender was particularly unpleasant to us on all occasions, speaking to us like we were dirt there to specifically inconvenience him. Very disappointing as the decorations and atmosphere is good but very expensive for such poor service.

Would not recommend. 5/6 bartenders behind the bar standing and chatting with one another, one person serving. Felt bad for this girl trying to get everybodies drinks sorted. Was clearly under pressure. Waiting at least 10-15 minutes for a drink, on a quiet night.

Interesting bar, rooftop is nice, good service and friendly staff.

Visited for a drink on Friday 8 December. Yes, a busy night before Christmas. Bar staff levels were too low for the level of service needed. Bar staff were slow, dour, underlying aggressive in response to reasonable requests . Would not recommend to anyone and would not go back. Who is managing this place? Why can Google not allow a zero star review?

Don't know what's going on at this pub, or who is running it. I'm reluctant to have a go at the staff as working a Friday night before Xmas is probably hectic, but they were really really poor. Aggressive, rude, slow, perhaps they were understaffed for the level of service that was required, but being there for the first time, I definitely wouldn't recommend or go back

Don't often write negative reviews..but .....the lack of manners, professionalism and hospitality was embarrassing at this establishment. Baf staff were rude and disinterested. Definitely your party night out would be ruined if your objective was to purchase a drink. Management need to think about futurd employment of no bearded staff with attitude

Oh god… where do I begin? Arrived at 12.55 for a 1pm bottomless scrunch booking for my friends 30th. Waited at the lift for over 10 minutes. I went and spoke to a staff member who told me to “use the stairs”. (Anyone’s that’s been at The Perch knows it’s a bit of nightmare walking up so many flights of stairs to get to the top floor). We waited another minute at the lift for it to open and have staff members and a huge food heater in it, they also said “use the stairs”. Don’t know why you would move equipment around when the bar is open but anyway. We went to walk up the stairs, only to get half way up and find that there was stock blocking the way up, and for the staff member to tell us to use the lift. Absolute shambles. Arrived at our table at 13:20, after being in the building for 25 minutes. Had to step over boxes of Christmas decorations to get to our table. Waited a further 20 minutes to get our first drink, again shambles. Staff hadn’t a clue what was going, someone taking your order then not coming back with drinks, having to ask another staff member, who refused because “we’d already ordered”. Had to go to the bar to try and get served which was impossible, others were there complaining they couldn’t get served either. Staff walking past and blanking you was the norm. We were then told that we shoul stop asking for refills so often as “bottomless is NOT bottomless”…. Despite this not being said anywhere. Pizza was OK, frozen bases and dips were alright. Staff were really awful, which judging by the others reviews, is a common occurrence. Sad as this place used to be a favourite of mine!

Dreadful experience arrived late as traffic was mayhem Xmas light switch on in Belfast . We have a picture in the perch at 4.28 at the front desk waiting to be seated to have some stuck up Hostess speak to us like something she stepped on in the way into work.. Then carried on tell me I'm a liar we arrived later and 4.30 was r cut of this was at 4.34 and r table had been giving away already an no deposit would be giving bk. Do not recommend 😔😔now bk home In Bangor after a wasted journey not to mention the money wasted

‘Bottomless’ brunch. Limited to 6 drinks and took them that long to bring the drinks we only got 5. Waste of money. Even if you get 6 drinks x £5 + the £10 pizza, you only save £5.

Cold and an absolute nightmare to get up to.... ground floor bars with ceilings and heat are more my cup of tea

Customer service in this place is absolutely shocking, we had a reservation from 7:30-9:15 and didn’t get our first drink until after 8:20. I was waiting at the bar for over half and hour in total. I asked 2 of the bar men politely “can I get served when you have a chance please as I’ve been waiting here for over 20 minutes” and both of their responses were “what do you want me to do about it?” Both of them still continued to serve other people while ignoring me, another 10 minutes passed and I eventually had to go get someone else to go up and order the drinks because these lads would’ve ignored me all night. (One of them was ginger with glasses and the other had a buzz cut and a few tattoos).

Avoid this place at all costs. Absolute disgrace on every level. Staff lie and say they are not serving food then bring food out for other people. Here on Hen Party from England and spoilt our night!! Flies everywhere. Staff very rude and unapologetic.

Terrible customer service, slow response, no accountability. Avoid to visit all costs. We booked the place , we thought it will be busy as it is showing open upto 12:00 , but it was closing 9:45, who close the bar at 9:45. It was my wife's birthday and I was so embarrsed Absolutel pathetic, In addition to the abysmal customer service, the bar closing timings were equally frustrating. They appeared to be arbitrarily set, often inconveniencing customers who needed assistance outside regular hours. This rigid approach left no room for flexibility, making it exceptionally challenging for those with busy schedules to get the help they required. The lack of extended support reflected a complete disregard for the convenience of their customers. In the end, it felt like their operating hours were designed for their convenience, not the customers'.

Worst customer service ever. Staff don't even care about customers if they already have any bookings. We booked our table in advance and when we reached the service was pathetic. We booked for birthday celebration and it was just worst ever experience. We just walked away from the place without having anything from there. Wasted our booking amount. Staff don't even know what time they are closing that's d funny thing and asking each other wt time guys we are closing...😅

W*nkers, I came to belfast for one night with my girlfriend and my 2 friends and we decided to book a table for food and drinks in the perch. We were met with comments on our outfits from the bouncers as our outfits were over the top ( we were wearing cargos and a top …) we then walked up the stairs to the lift and werent met by any staff and had to find our own table (we paid a £20 deposit) we then sat down and didn’t receive a food menu or drink menu until we asked and when we did ask for menus we were then told they werent serving food and the deposit will be taken off our first round of drinks (it was) but the service was terrible and the staff were very rude and impatient with customers. My friend then went to the bar to order a drink and a bartender with glasses and jewellery on (a guy) then told her that there was no service at the moment and then slammed a ‘no service’ sign on the table in front of her and proceeded to serve other customers. The bar/‘restaurant’ was a nice looking place but the staff clearly aren’t trained to speak to customers with respect or friendlyness i will not be returning here at all

First look online this place looks brillaint. The decor is beautiful and matches the photos online although when I was told via the website I had to book a table online I would be given my deposit money back (which I was not) It claimed at the end you would receive your money back off my bill so I was assuming it was a bar tab situation considering I had to set down the deposit. When we arrived no one was there to actually seat us we had to attend to the bar and ask after waiting a long while behind people at the bar and waiting at the “check in desk”. It was bar service and not a tab which personally confused me considering how my deposit was holding a “table” on the rooftop I never received, we had to wait indoors until a table was free outside and find it ourselves. The drinks were lovely made perfectly although outside the music from indoors was overpowering it was genuinely hard to hold a conversation with my peer after near enough every sentence we were asking each other what we said as it was too loud to hear each other. It’s nice you can smoke out on the rooftop and drink which in many places now it’s not aloud so it is great that you can although i wouldn’t return due to deposit not being returned for a table we didn’t receive and not being able to hear each other.

Amazing experience. Our waitress was Eden Morrow and she was a star! Couldn’t have done enough for us. Made us feel so special. Love her

I found this place by accident...... and it was by far one of the best experiences I've had in All of Europe. The rooftop vibe is awesome, the drinks were amazing (bartender introduced me to a Guinness shot which was legit) and the smoking area is just epic. Friendly people (made some new friends there) and awesome music. Keep up the great work folks at Perch Rooftop Bar, I'll be back again real soon!

Had a couple of cocktails which were ok, nothing special, one of them wasnt very well blended. I can see that this rooftop bar was probably pretty on trend when it was first opened, but now it just appears a bit run down, shabby and mismatched - the eclectic furnishings etc now just look old and tired. The group owns this (and several other more upmarket venues) needs to do a super refurb and keep this place attractive to customers, it’s not insta-worthy any more! Service was average, and I really didn’t enjoy standing in the lift with my expensive footwear sticking to the disgusting carpet, don’t want to even think about why it was wet and sticky!! Come on Perch ……. you can do much better than this surel??!!

When you first step out of the lift you think it’s a really cool bar with an awesome vibe. Unfortunately it’s very difficult to get a drink, so I ended up not having one. I waited for 20mins at the bar. The bar man knew I’d been waiting and deliberately took someone else in front of me, he then preceded to serve everyone else around me. Even though I said to him I’d been there first. No idea what that was about but by that point I decided to take our table of 8s business elsewhere.

Booked here for 2pm today (Sunday) for bottomless brunch with 4 friends who came from England. Took a while to get seated and service was slow - then a staff member came over to the table and told us they weren’t doing bottomless brunch today. The bar was almost empty and the people beside us were having aperol spritz and pizza which was included within the bottomless brunch. I spoke to two different people on the phone who confirmed we were booked in for bottomless brunch. Asked for our deposit back and left. Awful.

Genuinely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a Belfast bar. The bouncer for starters was so rude, I was wearing my hat and he said in a condescending voice. “NO HATS TODAY MATE IF I SAW U WALKING IN WITH THAT YOU WOULDNT HAVE GOT PAST ME” I just said right dead on and left without paying 🤣 also the server with the receeding hairline needs to let that shii go he was rushing us so much and gave us our bill after 1 DRINK!! Also his teeth are manky

Don’t understand why you have 2 people behind the bar on a busy Saturday and 6 glass collectors. Surely it would make more sense to just train them up to work on the bar when it’s busy instead of leaving people waiting for 15 minutes on a drink.

Had an amazing first time experience here. Hannah made our visit unreal she was amazing absolutely lovely staff member. Went out of her way to make our experience the best ❤️ kept the drinks flowing and foot coming. D

Racists! If your one of us brownies don't go here as we are not of Equal standing. They might as well have a sign saying " only white people allowed" they scam your card for money when booking a table on their website! Oh and if you raise your concerns the management gaslights you.

1st class pity about the weather but enjoyed the day out

Really bad customer service. Went for bottomless brunch - had to call someone over every time we needed a refill, asked for a refill with 10 mins to spare in our 2 hours and nobody came over, then requested it again and was told our 2 hours was up. We complained and did get a refill. Then the bill came and they hadn’t taken the £30 deposit off and tried to charge us the full amount.

Wouldn’t let me in tonight wearing an Adidas top as they branded it as ‘sportswear’ even though people were walking in wearing trainers , shorts , everything else. This place needs shut down with immediate effect and the bouncers need sacked.

No class here. We were spoiled visitng Tetto another rooftop bar nearby which clearly has a much higher class clientelle and ambiance. Drinks here were overpriced. Decor haggered and dated. Cleanliness was poor with sticky bar and tables. Dirty toilets and the most unfriendly staff we came accross in Belfast. STAY CLEAR ITS A TOURIST TRAP!!!!

We had drinks here on a Sunday night while in Belfast. We really enjoyed it. You get the lift up to the top floor where the bar is located. There’s a an outdoor area but no view. It’s really nicely decorated and had a great atmosphere. Cocktails were really nice- we would go back!

Went here for a drink before dinner about 6:30pm, nice setting and nice drinks, ruined by the horrendously loud music both inside and out. So loud we couldn’t have a conversation and left after 10 minutes. Very bizarre.

Bottomless brunch was fantastic!! Great selection of drinks. Pizzas were tasty. Our waitress Eden was amazing!!! Would go back in a heartbeat if she was serving our table. :)

Booked the bottomless brunch for a girlie day out. Our booking was for 4pm but we went earlier as we planned to have a drink first at the bar. When we arrived there was a great atmosphere and the place was buzzing. It’s really nicely decorated and great for photos. There is an indoor covered area and a lovely outdoor terrace. Mixture of locals and lots of accents so plenty of tourists about which is great to see. Our table was actually ready so we were able to sit there. We were made very welcome by Matthew and Hannah and Catherine who were serving us. Both they and all the other staff couldn’t do enough for us - the service was quick and always with a smile and a bit of chat. We definitely got great value for money as our drinks were always brought quickly and there was no rush to have our pizza immediately so we waited for a while before ordering. The pizzas were fab, freshly made to order and really really good. Great music and the DJ was fab as well. All 4 of us loved the whole experience, there was really nothing that we could fault. You get a 2 hour slot for brunch but we decided to stay on as Hannah was able to let us keep our table for an extra hour until the next booking arrived. Have had bottomless brunch elsewhere which have been very poor but this was a 5* experience. We will be back!

Darren was the best bartender and made our trip to Belfast one to remember. Would recommend this bar to anyone looking for a good time.

If your not from NI they don't want you there. walked out after 10 minutes. Plenty of better places to spend your money. Super rude, as soon as I saw there moldy nasty elevator we should have turned around. I try not to judge a book by it cover. But I should have.

Believe the reviews. We booked an online reservation, they had no record of it, rudely told us to sit at a table and then promptly ignored us. We ended up leaving after ten minutes of awkwardly trying to figure out if we were wrong. Highly recommend going literally anywhere else that doesn’t hate Americans apparently.

I made a reservation for two people, upon entry there was no staff to greet at the door and show us where we were to sit. We approached the bar and stood there for approx 5min and no staff behind the bar communicated with us. I then approached a member of staff ( bleach blonde short girl ) and informed her I had a reservation, she proceeded in behind the bar and never came back although we could see that she was checking her phone that was on charge etc and completely blanking us and leaving us standing there. Again, we approached another staff member who showed us our seats finally and walked away, no drinks menu provided and so we had to find one. Such an awkward and unprofessional experience, plenty of staff here but it is quite clear they are badly managed and half the time they are all checking their phones - i have seen three of them texting behind the bar and im only here 15 minutes. We have since ordered a drink but we will most definitely be leaving in a few minutes. A heads up to any other potential customers thinking of making a reservation, you do not actually have a specific table as the staff just remove other people's reservation signs from an empty table nearest to where you approach them also, this place won't be hear long and is certainly not somewhere you would stay for the night.

A lovely place for a bottomless brunch. We had the pizza brunch and choice of coconut daiquiris, Prosecco or lager. We had booked in advance and I paid a deposit so we’re a bit disappointed when we arrived and we’re told that the cocktail option...

I reserved a table here (online) several weeks before I was due to attend with my party of 5. A few days before my reservation, I was contacted by the manager and asked to pay a £25 deposit for the privilege, despite not being asked...

Drinks a bit expensive but great atmosphere

Booked here for bottomless brunch. When I arrived I asked two members of staff, where our table was - who shrugged at me and another then said “I will look into it for you, do you want to order a drink in the meantime at the bar”. Safe to say we stupidly waited approx about 45 mins to even have this drink order taken, shortly after this arrived we were then told - your table is outside. Given the fact that the service was so shocking inside - I think we would have been completely forgotten about outside so we didn’t bother staying. Really needs an overhaul this place in terms of staffing, would definitely not recommend.

I had to wait a long time to be served. Plus, they jumped me in line. It was full, and I had to be outside, I asked them to turn on the heating twice, and someone turned it off.

Amazing visit to the Perch today for their first Drag Brunch. Fabulous from start to finish…food, cocktails, pizzas and entertainment was first class!!!

Best drag brunch in town! Lady Portia and Onya were a blast. Food and drinks were lovely. Had a great time.

Booked here for brunch with the girls as a fun day out which included cocktails and pizza. My experience was just okay, stood for ages on arrival and no staff came near us, went to the bar to ask staff where our reserved table was only to stumble across it ourselves. Cocktails wernt overly nice, however I did order a cocktail from the menu (paid for of course) which was lovely. Pizza was nice in fairness. Won't rush back if I'm honest

Nine of us were here as part of a hen weekend booking and we’d paid £90 deposit to secure the booking. The supervisor came over to take our drinks order and one of the girls, who is pregnant, asked for a mocktail menu and was...

Our friends had booked a table, arrived on time only to be ignored for 15 mins and then told our table had been given up due to them being late. They tried to find us a table anyway but other patrons (without bookings and an outrageous £50 deposit) refused to give the table up. Music is waaaaay too loud, the place is incredibly pretentious and overpriced.

When I went here before it was a genuinely good bar but god knows what has happened since then. 50£ deposit for a table only for it to be given away. Music was beyond club levels. My mate was genuinely wearing hearing defence. Most pretentious bar in Belfast. Currently sitting in spoons to try and get some real class and recover from the hearing loss.

Closed at 9pm on a Sunday night when said open til 1am. Turned away about 15 people who made the trip up the lift. Waste of time.

Upon arrival to The Perch, we were met by a rat outside the front door. Pleasant bouncers were the only good thing about this place. The easiest access the rooftop bar is by a dodgy elevator. However there are stairs that contain dirty cleaning equipment on each floor. Entering the bar you're greeted by pink neon lighting that cover up the outdated decor and then rude discriminatory staff who tell you they have no ice for a drink. Really wouldn't have had an issue with that if they hadn't served local patrons jugs of drink and single glasses with ice after that. All in all, avoid this place. They ignore non local (non northern accent) patrons, the place is a dive, drink is pricey for what it is, and I've seen more life in a morgue.

Hard to rate anything due to the bar being closed when we arrived for our reservation. Whilst waiting for entry another couple showed up who rang and were told we needed to use an entrance round the back but none of us could find one, another bar nearby told us it was shut. So God knows what was going on.

Absolute nightmare. Will never be back. Booked table for food at 5.15pm. We arrived, took 10 mins before we could get to speak with anyone. We were then told our table was not ready and they cannot ask the people to leave. So we had to wait. Then we asked for a food menu, to be told look it up on Facebook. Could not find menu, so approached staff member, was told only doing pizza. Once ready to order had to wait for ages to place order, to be then told there was no food. I asked what they expected us to do now, and staff could not care less and shrugged shoulders. The supervisor did not even give us the courtesy to apologise to us. We ended up having to get train back home to Antrim as we could not get booked into anywhere else. Absolutely disgusted with this place, they ruined our night.

I visited The Perch Rooftop Bar during a busy weekend in Belfast. My friends and I were over from Wales for 3 days and we returned to this bar as the atmosphere was great and the bar was beautiful for photos. The manager took great...

We visited last night and were blown away one member of staff in particular; Keith, frankly a Hospitality superstar; attentive, approachable and quite simply went above and beyond to make our experience a memorable one. The Perch are terribly lucky to have such a fabulous...

Staff ignores you, even when you stand in front of them.

Very disapointed. You have to queue to use the lift as I cannot climb the stairs. The bar and staff are nice but the toilets are on another floor so queue for the lift again.

Busy cocktail bar in the city centre. Great - if you can get a seat!

Had a great wee bottomless brunch with my friends with Katie serving us, she's brilliant. Katie is the best.

Loved this place. Starts with a ride up on an attended industrial elevator. Lovely airy, colourful space indoor & open, where it was somewhat bracing. Drinks are standard Belfast prices, not overpriced. Apart from the temperature, just like the Mediterranean.

Brilliant bar with gorgeous decor, tasty cocktails, great music and super staff. Been quite a few times&always have a brill time. Tried the new ‘hot girl brunch’ on Saturday. 2 hours of pizza&prosecco for £30. Keith was absolutely amazing and very professional, fun and friendly and went above and beyond for our group. He and Eden really looked after us all and we had a great time! Can’t wait to return again, Highly recommend!

Love the atmosphere in this bar. Been several times both with friends and a couple and have enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of this bar. Staff very friendly from door men, to bar staff, singling out Katie as a friendly, great bar person. Will definitely return.

Made to feel very welcome as a large hen party! Kaitlyn was great craic taking us up in the lift and all the bar staff were super friendly Really cool venue and can’t wait to visit again!
