Had a great meal in here Wed 16th, I had the steak wrap with sweet corn ribs (vegetarian) lol, absolutely top notch, my better half had the chicken ceasar salad, top notch too, coffee was strong but great service was excellent and the place was spotless lad served us did a great job.

Sadly it was such a disappointment, the foods was terrible, the steak was awful and cold, even though the two of us ordered it the same they were cooked completely different, one was like cardboard. The service wasn’t very good and really slow and even the toilets gets filled with smoke from the kitchen. The place looks lovely and it has good advertisement clearly as ‘healthy’ food but they couldn’t even accommodate using butter or olive oil in our food until we had to ask twice. I wouldn’t visit again sadly, and the hope is that this comment will help then improve.

Had a lunch for 4. Food was tasty and we all cleared our plates. The latte we ordered for my mum wasn't rang in properly due to a till error (which we understood because sometimes, things happen outside of our control) but the male waiter serving us explained what has happened and was really apologetic and accommodating afterwards which left us with a really good impression. We really loved his attitude and how he handled the situation. Brilliant service by him and the chefs, thank you for a nice lunch ☺️

We went to Slims based on the good reviews we got from Google and while most places we walked past on the way there looked very busy slims had space so we could sit right down. Unfortunately they were out of the green curry so we had the peri peri chicken and Korean noodle bowl. The peri peri was fiery hot but unfortunately had no flavour much like the rice and corn it came with, but starved after I long day I mixed some water into it to take away the dryness and ate it. My partner could not eat the noodle bowl as it was incredibly salty. The server didn’t come to check on us after we got our food, they seemed very busy with take out orders so we let them know on the way out the food wasn’t very good and he made note of it but that was it. We only tried two dishes but based on that I would not go back.

My partner and I both ordered the brisket hash, however as I’m a vegetarian I ordered mine without the brisket which I was told wouldn’t be an issue. Dishes arrived (after waiting for 40+ minutes in a quiet restaurant) and as I was eating, I discovered chunks of beef hidden in the dish which was supposed to be meat-free. Thankfully, the waitress was so helpful and apologetic for the incident and handled the situation excellently. However, in 7+ years as a vegetarian this has never happened before and it really is inexcusable.

Have been eating here regularly for years. My friends and I meet in slims at least once or twice a week. Unfortunately my go to wholefood salad dish and Asian greens on the side have been substituted by a chopped version and broccoli as my side. Bitterly disappointing., tasteless, I was told it was the same but it didn't resemble the original in any way. I decided to give it another go on Saturday, I asked if I could have it without chopping and was told that's how it comes. My company and I left, which is a pity as we always enjoyed our visits. I did ask if there was any other suitable vegan dishes but the staff member didn't know. Very disappointed. There are so many other options. Like Seed on the Lisburn Rd, but I would prefer Slims to listen to their regulars and replace my favourite dish.

I order brisket but was informed it was out of stock five minutes ago. I opted for the katsu Curry with panko mushrooms. The mushrooms were just sprinkled with breadcrumbs on the top like seasoning with a tiny cup of sauce with a greasy greens and bland rice all for the cost of £14. I’m unimpressed and gave been plenty of times but always leave with a headache from the loud music

Quite pricey and subpar for what it is really. Which i cant blame them for as i chose to eat there. However, when the staff member was asked about vegan options (with the expectation of being explained and told about them) , they pointed at one single option and said they “think” its vegan. We figured out later there were more vegan friendly options we could have had. On top of that all, water glasses we were given still had lip stains and orange bits on them from the previous customer i assume. We made no fuss and left as soon as possible. Plenty other and better brunch/breakfast places available all over Belfast.

Few reviews said they had vegan options so I checked the online menu and they had plenty! That was until myself and my partner went inside to have a completely different menu infront of us. No problem, I asked the staff if they knew of any of the vegan options on the menu (there was no V or VE for vege or vegan), but they were unsure. They had the beyond burger option and I asked if it was vegan and the staff told us “I think so”. The glasses were dirty, wiped them with a tissue and the tissue caught dirt and dust from it. Overall, food was mediocre and very expensive.

Foods took a long time to cook but they worth the wait. We ordered Bali bowl and chicken burger

Fantastic service, absolutely spotless. Everything was so fresh and really well presented. Definitely a little gem! Even their marketing is impressive! I cannot fault the place.. believe me I'm fussy if there was something I would find it! My new hotspot!!

Quiet Sunday afternoon where we couldn't be bothered cooking. Steak wrap with side of corn and the Mr Grey juice to finish it off. Would definitely recommend!

Had wraps. Steak and chicken. Was very simple and delicious. Not fussy, nothing added that was not needed. Just a basic wrap. But it does not taste like a basic wrap. Really flavour packed. I look forward to my next excuse to have something here.

Absolute dump & diabolical service went in this morning Thursda 20th April at around 10.30am the waiter came to hand me a menu and I asked for a fry and an americno very plainly and clearly. He brong me the americano and I been waiting for around 30-minutes. During this time 2 guys came in and asked for frys also for 3 people the 3rd guy came in the waiter set there food down and I said are you taking the piss he said I didn't hear you he has selective hearing pleas stay clear the music is like laverys night club also what a dump

I visited for a quick lunch, the food was cooked to absolute perfection with the chips having the best crunch! Don’t get me started on their chilli mayo!!! All together an amazing meal, with the service taking my experience above and beyond. The young waitress Jessica was delightful, pleasant and eager to help! Lloyd also furthered this brilliant customer service with his easy chat and good vibes all around. 100% recommend 👍👍👍

Came here on my first day in belfast, and I am definitely coming back. The staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is nice, and the food is delicious. Their coffee is great and they have wifi available. Highly recommended for someone who wants a light but satisfying meal.

Nice place, great , upbeat staff... But star of because jerk chicken bowl is major disappointment. I didn't expect boiled chicken smothered in jerk seasoning. That is not jerk chicken. Salad and salsa was beautiful.

I went out with friends for Lunch on 19/12/2022, to Slims Healthy Kitchen. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We were given a menu to look at & choose what we wanted for Lunch. I had a Chicken Wrap with Salad & Mayonnaise in it along with a soft drink to go along with it. Slims Healthy Kitchen is situated on The Lisburn Road area of Belfast. Give it a try & see what you think, it’s well worth a visit if you’re going out for a meal with friends. Stephen Acton.

Absolutely loved the food. Firdt time going there and lm definitely going to be a regular.Will opt for a less hot option though next time but it was definitely delicious. The smoothy for me had too much of the passion fruit and less of the strawberry so it packed a punch but it was still nice

I've been visiting Slims Kitchen in the past, very often. However something has clearly changed as their food used to be great. Went in and ordered takeaway avocado sandwich, didn't wait long, service was good, BUT for the 6£ I paid this is what i got in a box. ONE slice of toast, with bit of mashed avocado, some grilled tomato and seeds. 2 stars overall but gave you 3 as the smoothie is still okay. I think you could do better. 🙂

Wldnt even give a star onmy had to went to Lisburn Road and service is horrendous when lad decided to come over to see if wee wanted a seat after doodling with tables to them forgetting part of order cause they are too busy chatting to each other his fingers where near in my food as well really need to sort your staff out maybe that's why it was empty....

Poor service and sub standard food, music so loud and after I ask for it to be turned down nothing is done. Orders took 30min+ to arrive, including salads, then the warm food ordered was cold. I'm extremely dissatisfied.

Awful. I was up for work and had to order some food and asked for the salmon without the fries which would cost 12.00. I also ordered a strawberry, protein and banana smoothie which cost 5.50. When the salmon came out the skin was burnt and would of weighed about 100 grams tops. I had already waited about twenty minutes for this shambolic ‘meal’ whilst the place was near enough empty and was almost offended by the size of the portion that was given to me. I paid for my overpriced smoothie and left. Do not come to this place

My 2nd visit to Slim’s- Jerk Chicken Rice , sweet potato crises and avocado smoothie- great service- very, very tasty meal - smoothies are excellent . Recommend and try this smashing restaurant. Very reasonable pricing - good CoVID compliance.

Could've put a bit more steak in that wrap but the taste was spot on! Also, that peanut and banana smoothie was amazing!

Went in morning approximately 10.30am, wasn't very busy. Young waitress serving was very helpful, polite and efficient. Ordered the healthy breakfast fry which is basically just everything grilled and a poached egg. The poached egg was thee worst ever on a breakfast, SHK why would you even allow that out of your kitchen, a little tiny half lump of a egg...sad

Ordered and paid for a monthly meal plan. Received a text to tell me my order was ready to collect. Called to the store to collect, after waiting a while, I was told that they had 'miscounted' and didn't have my weekly order. No alternative, no satisfactory explanation. Away I went with no weekly meals that were ordered and paid for.

Food here is always delicious. The portion sizes could be a little bigger however you won't be disappointed. 4 star instead of 5 because on more than one occasion I have been handed a dirty glass from staff. A little more attention to detail wouldn't go a miss.

Great salads here and lots of food for my teenagers who are not turned on by the term 'healthy'. The staff were super friendly and genuine. I had the vegan salad and sweet potato fries at 3pm and was full for the day.

Absolutely horrendous food and service through Uber Eats. £29.93 for two inedible burgers, inedible clumped cold rice and a £5.50 milkshake that didn't arrive. Rang shop and they told me there's Absolutely nothing they can do about it. Update: Uber agreed to refund me. Restaurant sent a personal email, not to apologise for the horrendous food standards, but more to just reiterate that Uber is a third party and they have no access to my money. A simple apology from the lady who emailed me, regarding the food standards and bad service would have be suffice for me to remove this negative review. But it still stands, £29.93 for inedible food and a missing £5.50 milkshake is unacceptable in anyone's eyes.

Where drivers check-in but hey don't check out... Waited 3 hours for a Uber eats order that was happily accepted by the restaurant but had 3 drivers attempt to delivery but somehow vanished once they arrived. It was only until the last driver called me up to say that they weren't even open when he tried to collect it.

Edited review.. visited again yesterday and got the steak halloumi and chicken halloumi wraps ... perfection, every bite. Would still says it's not cheap but for quality and taste, definitely five stars, and again, staff very were excellent. Probably controversial, but I think the I preferred the chicken over the steak. Had to increase from 4 stars to 5! First time in Slim's healthy kitchen, but was well aware of the famous steak and halloumi wrap. Staff very friendly and helpful, place spotlessly clean and service prompt. Sweet potato fries were great, as good as I've had anywhere. And the garlic sauce in the wrap, and the halloumi were absolutely perfect. Steak was cooked rare as requested, just had to take my knife to certain parts, and the long strands of steak weren't perfect for eating in a wrap. Was very very tasty tho. Not the cheapest either, but can see why it's a popular place.

I ordered a vegan Katsu curry through Uber Eats and found some pieces of chicken present. Not impressed! Felt very ill upon realisation that it was chicken. It stated that it was VEGAN so why was there a dead animal in it? I didn’t order chicken so please ensure this doesn’t happen to someone else! It is a very serious issue, sort it out! This is not the first negative experience I’ve had with Slim’s Kitchen. Seems to be a regular occurrence!

Recently ate at Slim’s Kitchen since the restaurants have been allowed to open again. The food was good, however I don’t particularly think it’s worth the money. The one thing that stood out was the unsatifisfactory service. The worst thing was that we’re in the middle of a pandemic and the waitress gave my mum’s meal to a different customer, realised after about 1-2 minutes that she made a mistake and retrieved the meal from the other customer and gave it to my mum. God knows if he touched it, had eaten from it or coughed on it. On top of this, myself and my brother had already ours half-eaten before my mum’s came out (given to the random man). Then, we ordered a few smoothies to take away and we made sure to order them with plenty of time before we intended to leave and we were told 3 times, “The smoothies are being sorted/made now.” When we finally got to collect the smoothies, they only began making them.

Made a delivery order that included a milkshake (main reason for ordering from there) instead I received a note on the receipt saying "sorry, none left" and 2 cans of coke. Firstly this is not of equivalent vale and secondly is there something wrong with the staff that they can't pick up the phone. What an arrogant way to treat customers! I ordered from here probably once a week and they have just lost my business for good.

£33 for 2 wraps and 2 shakes for takeaway....not takeaway prices! Half the price would be reasonable.

As a mostly vegetarian with vegan tendencies, I was delighted to find a local place with so many offerings not found elsewhere. Indeed, 7 years ago it was one of the only games in town to offer vegetarian food outside of the unimaginative salads, chips, and risotto. To my disappointment however, they just aren't that good. I kept giving them chances and they kept failing -- I've eaten at least three times at their Lisburn Rd location and have ordered takeaway from their Victoria square location. Despite attractive plating and well-appointed decor, they're missing the mark. The flavour is lacking and often clashing, the service is frequently less than friendly (particularly at the Lisburn rd location), and the food seems to be geared more to insta posts than the palate. While it's nice to have a local restaurant attempt to keep up with food trends, healthy food can be tasty and this place is doing itself no favours with its service and food.

My first time at this restaurant, my boyfriend had said it was good in the past, but he was very disappointed this time. The service was poor, our hamburger bread was old and dry. The quality of the food does not match the price, I paid £ 9 for old dry bread, a slice of tomato, a burger and some rocket leaves. We left there disappointed.

The food is good and it didn’t take long. Service was algo good and everyone was practicing social distance. I go to Slims Kitchen once a week and its my favourite restaurant in Belfast.

Entré en Slims Kitchen a las 10 am sin nadie más adentro. El servidor me indica que haga un pedido usando el método de código QR, que creo que es excesivo pero bastante justo. La aplicación me dice que serán 20 minutos, lo que parece mucho para un restaurante vacío. Mientras esperan, entran clientes que parecen ser amigables con el servidor, que luego procede a tomar su pedido de café directamente mientras yo sigo esperando el mío. Entonces se me informa que mi pedido no parece haber terminado a pesar de haberlo pagado. Lo que me decepcionó aquí fueron los dos niveles de servicio y ser ignorado. También el hecho de que los estándares de capacitación sobre cómo interactuar con los clientes sean tan deficientes. Realmente me molesta el mal servicio que reciben las personas solas. Pasará un tiempo antes de que vuelva a Slims.

La comida estaba bien pero tardó unos 35 minutos a pesar de que el lugar estaba medio lleno. ¿Por dos sándwiches? Y no vale la pena el dinero. Orden de bebidas incorrecta, no corregida en la factura (generalmente lo reviso, parcialmente mi culpa), mala actitud cuando le dijimos al personal de servicio sobre la bebida incorrecta. Tantos lugares mejores y más razonables en la carretera de Lisburn. También teniendo en cuenta que es un lugar de comida saludable, ¿por qué no poner las Cal y las macros en el menú?

Acabo de venir a almorzar y realmente disfrutamos de la comida. Hay muchas opciones en el menú y muchos de los platos son bastante únicos y no típicos de la mayoría de los establecimientos. Hay algunas críticas aquí que afirman que la comida es, de hecho, poco saludable, pero no estoy de acuerdo, la mayoría de los elementos del menú son realmente saludables en algún aspecto. El único inconveniente es que los elementos del menú del desayuno no son todo el día, lo que sería bueno. Espero volver pronto.

Average, small portions and overpriced

Amazing avocado toast and vegan pancakes! Great service and so may choices, vegan and vegetarian alternatives to so many meals. Would highly recommend.

Vine a Slims a desayunar y me decepcionó mucho en cada etapa de mi visita. El personal era frío y antipático, la comida era muy caro para la calidad y el tamaño de la porción. Pedí la tostada de aguacate que cuesta 7! Era un pequeño pedazo de pan con un poco de aguacate sin condimentar y algunos tomates crudos con algunas semillas tiradas encima. Tan decepcionante. Sin embargo, el matcha latte era un poco mejor, sin embargo, podría haber sido mucho mejor. No volveré y ciertamente no se lo recomendaré a nadie.

Thee tastiest healthy breakfast I've tasted in a very long time. The bacon is the best ever. Hats off to the chef and thank you to the friendly and efficient staff. Well worth a visit 😋

Food was good but the chicken was a bit too dry.

I ordered a double burger (No side order) for take away. It was very nice, and the lady who served me was very helpful. I originally ordered a single burger, but was hungry, so the lady offered me a second burger (double burger), which consisted of a double burger, some lettuce and beef tomatoes in a seeded bun. I rarely complain about food, or businesses, but my only bone of contention is the price of a burger. It cost me £11.45...for A BURGER, no side order, no drink. I realise that this is Belfast, but at that price, I think It is very expensive. I do enjoy Slims Healthy Kitchen, and will most likely use again when I'm in Belfast, but at these prices, It Would be as a treat, rather than a regular thing.
