Popped in to purchase a Coke as I was waiting to meet a family member who lived nearby. The place was clean and welcoming. The Garden is definitely a showpiece and massive for a Portsmouth City Pub. Can imagine Sunday roast with the family was be a nice venue. I heard from others this is a nice pub. And I think they are right. Seems a nice place to visit both day and night.

Nice venue and staff always seem nice, but the last few times we’ve been in there’s been drug use/ dealing in the men’s loos. I just wish they had security or managed the situation it’s obviously an on going problem.

I’ve been to the Pelham a few times now. The place has a warm and pleasant vibe. A group of us went in for a couple of drinks after our neighbours funeral. Both ladies behind the bar were extremely polite and to be honest they were getting everyone served very quickly. I will definitely be popping inside more often. Thank you to the Pelham for proving such an amazing caring and loving atmosphere. Sending love and gratitude to the Entire Pelham🍻🍺🤝💙

Great pub. Right in the middle of Pompey. Big considering it’s in the middle of hundreds of houses.

Rattler and an amazing selection of bottles. Quite a good atmosphere if busy! Very pompey so depends on the occasion, so to speak (from a pompey born and bred)

Christmas Eve, first time there, locals made us feel very welcome. Good laugh, good dj and good pool. Definitely going back...

Really excited that The Pelham Arms are now serving Sunday Lunch! Great pub, friendly atmosphere, and fab function room that I use regularly for events.

I've been using this pub on and off for over 40 years, seen a lot of changes/alterations etc! Met quite a few great landlords over the years! Às I don't use pubs as much as I did years ago, I still like my Saturday's. Popped in last week, a new guy has got it now, the place was spotlessly clean, staff, as always, friendly! Garden is massive, ideal for anyone, families, friends etc! Great pub!

Lovely family and dog friendly pub with a huge beer garden, wide selection of drinks, darts, pool, table tennis and table football options all available. The new owners, Dan and Jane have done a wonderful job turning this pub into the perfect place to enjoy an evening. With Quiz nights on Mondays, and Music over the weekend, there’s always something on. And even if there isn’t an event, Jane, Dan or the staff will keep you amused. Honestly, everything you could want from a local.

Great family pub, so long as you are the Adams Family. It's North End's very own Mos Eisley Cantina, complete with the scum of the known galaxy........loverly!!

The recent appointment of a new Manager has improved the clientele. Great music venue. Usual selection of beverages. A great night out at the weekends

The Pelham is a smart looking Victorian pub and is large very large, big garden and quite caverness inside. I like it but no ale on offer being offered only Tetley which was off and Shipyard which is too hoppy for my taste. So I ended up on 1664 hence 3 stars. I understand they got to sell it and ale has a shelf life, the plus side friendly barman clean tidy and plenty of seating but lacks character. Pool table was up and running. Get at least one real ale in please and you may find customers will buy it.

Arrived at pub at 15:30hrs, had to sit in garden due to COVID restrictions, and didn’t get a drink until 16:40hrs. We left as just impossible to get served by a sour faced woman that just completely ignores you. Weird though that she was regularly serving certain customers that already had drinks.

Waited over an hour for a drink. Didn't get served. Seemed like the woman that was serving people was only doing the regulars. Saw them get served 3 or 4 times. Seen alot of people leave because of this and I was one of them.

Was in there over an hour and a half and didn't even get served, I understand it was a little busy but there were people being served 2 or 3 times in that hour and a half I was there. Clearly serving the regulars before anyway else it was ridiculous.

Loved being at the Pelham. It was relaxing and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Will be back this Saturday. Carol and Ray Newman xx

Just visited this pub tonight we were greeted by a barmaid who was very blunt and rude! We then went for a cigarette and were hastled about our mask ever thought she was flirting with men who were no asked to wear there mask lol this place is a joke oh and the glasses were disgusting 🤮

Very good social distancing in place. Large beer garden which is an advantage if you just want to sit in the sun.

Nice local pub, with good local bands!

First visit to the pub, traditional local with large garden.

Really nice place to hang out, reasonably priced alcohol, friendly staff, they have a really great open mic every Thursday! Also during the summer it's great as they have a huge outdoor beer garden with some lovely views of the surrounding architecture. Only issues are that there is a £5 minimum on the card machine and parking can be tough to find if you wanted to drive.

Lucky to have one star visited twice both times run out of bitter on a Sunday the night thay have a band. Last time there it took an hour to get a drink all be it vodka as I don't like larger.

Fun night . Live music and a great landlord . Made to feel welcome .
