The Park in East Devon

Enjoyed some sunny afternoon live music and drinks in the sun!

Haven't been here for the food but they have had some great bands, both indoor and out. Love the atmosphere here.

Saw Carnaby Street play, excellent as always.

Thank you so much to all the team at The Park who hosted the wake for my son-in-law with kindness, compassion and excellent service . The food provided was tasty and well presented, as well as plentiful. The staff worked so hard to look after everyone. Thank you from us all.

This pub ooks a lot better on the inside than the outside. It has a good bar which is well served and has an extensive and quality selection of drinks, and usually at lesst 1 quality real ale. Friendly, speedy service and a pleasant laid-back atmosphere.

Have visited twice from Australia visiting a mate and his family. Love this pub!

Came in for a few drinks after an event had finished close by, it was fairly quiet when we arrived but the staff were really welcoming, helping us with our order showing us what was on offer, helping bring our drinks over to the table and just making our visit a very pleasant experience. I’d like to add the girl in the bar was absolutely amazing, a red head with tattoos on her back, she seemed to be running the place very well, taking charge on the bar and she was really good to us.

We popped in for lunch. We waited 50 minutes for a disgusting meal and got overcharged at £54 which should of been £30. The bar person did not have a clue what she was doing.

couldnt fault them warm and friendly nothing was to much trouble the food was excellant especially the pasties and the constant flow of tea and coffee was a nice touch.the staff were really helpful the marquee meant it was private which was excellantwould defintely use them again and would recomnd anyone who wanted a function there

Gave up being served went somewhere else.. It was 23rd of Dec about 9pm... Left after not being served after about 15mins...

The Park have been brilliant and since COVID-19 lockdown lapsed have started back up their bar food menu. Great portions and we’ll priced but ideal for a relaxed night out, few drinks and something to eat. I believe they are looking in to changing/increasing the menu soon too. Everyone is so friendly, loads of room and indoor/outdoor options. Parking available and a large marquee at present too. Live music most weekends. Currently Trip Advisor says they are closed but they aren’t. Well recommended.

Great venue with very charming and attentive staff. Fell short of a 5 star as the lighting was too bright and could do with more ambient lighting.

Friday 13th Sept went to see Wrecking Ball & Sarah Jory great night of music, pub is a very welcoming place locals are very friendly pub has big sofas to lounge on great atmosphere staff helpful and greet you with a smile rare in some pubs nowdays, we come to Devon every summer so will definitely be back

Late one, poor pool skills and getting lick-attacked by two black labs. Great pub, really should come here more often.

This pub was very near our b&b so we thought we would go there for dinner as the big sign out the front said 'home cooked food'. We went in to ask for the menu, only to be told they don't do food. They didn't even seem that bothered when we mentioned the large sign advertising food. Don't be fooled by this place. You have to go right into the town to eat, and even then most of the pubs don't do food!

My son desperately needed to use the loo and we couldn't find one nearby. Guy behind the bar couldn't have been more welcoming and understanding. Place looked really clean and nicely decorated. Will stop for a pint next time.

Always has good beer and great atmosphere. Music nights are particularly well supported. However, it is a shame they don't serve food.

Oys nice place to chill. Plenty of seats and tables It has pool tables to play. It do pub games such as quizzes etc Dogs are allowed in as long as they are trained properly. Haven't tried their food yet. They has wide screen for matches. It has osn parking lot and bus stop is right outside

Came here for the first time for Sunday roast, we were surprised it wasn't busier because the food was very tasty, and a good variety of fresh vegetables, all well seasoned and not over cooked. Friendly staff and a nice relaxed genuine atmosphere.

I bought my 10 year old daughter here for an evening meal. She ordered her usual chicken nuggets and chips and me the vegetarian lasagne. My lasagne was overcooked in the microwave so it came to me about 7mm thick with spits all around the bowl and my daughters meal was not very nice by her description. Staff are friendly but chef needs to consider her true vocation.

Nice "tradional" pub. Good selection of beers, lagers and ciders. Selection of food. Nice garden to sit in.

Good beer.. Excellent live acts on Fridays and Saturdays staff always seen welcoming, pleasent and friendly they do food but as of yet not tried any so unsure of quality. Dart board and pool table available as is a seating area outside. Disabled access is reasonably good Overall a good place to attend for a good day/night out

Visited late afternoon with a friend for a quick drink. Very quiet at that time but well impressed with the friendly staff, attractive, clean and comfortable seats. Didn't eat, but menu looked good and well priced. Drinks not the cheapest, but still a lot better than most in town. Will definitely come again

This deserves 0 stars. Very rude staff and landlord. Got given a bad pint of beer and when we complained they basically told us to leave. The toilets are disgusting and smelt and not working. The glasses are dirty and the food is over priced and reheated (This is from when I've eaten lunch in there before) anyone who actually wants to enjoy and night out or some good food should give this place a wide birth.

When we got married in 1971 we lived in Lawn Road - next to The Park (the pub that is) and spent some time there until we moved away in the late 70's so going back to revisit it after all those years was something that we had too do when we were holidaying in Exmouth. The outside of the pub looks more or less the same as it did back then, but the inside has been smartened up a fair bit and we enjoyed a very pleasant evening there.

Located on Exeter Road and by Lawn road is this fairly big pub in Exmouth. Looks like a very nice menu however we did not eat here but just popped in for a pint and a glass of wine. Very friendly bar staff and comfy.

Absolutely fantastic meal. Great food,varied menu and only to pleased to help in any way. Well done guys and girls.

Lovely lunch yesterday at the Park, not your usual microwaved pub food but delicious freshly cooked meat and vegetables cooked by the new Chef, what a gem he is plus friendly staff. Will definitely be trying the evening menu. Highly recommend a visit...

Called into the park..they have a new chef and a fantastic new menu with one dedicated to just low fat food..we had the Belly pork and the Persian lamb the food was stunning beautifully presented and very reasonable.. can't wait to go back again
