The most welcoming pub in Cambridge, with a pleasant pub garden. Always a few nice ales on and decent food.

Nice for an evening drink and chat. Sat outside which was pleasant, although quite a bit of cigarette smoke from nearby table.

If you want to experience the real cambridge, this pub is it, hidden down a residential street in the centre of town, only the locals/students know about it. Great big courtyard sun trap too.

Great pub but after a short visit for a rouble spiced rum I quickly learned its not one for "Bar Flies" ... It wasn't just myself that quickly lost any conversation with the 2 guys running the bar and kitchen but the electrical tennis racket was used to take out the fruit Flies Apart from a lack of banter from the staff i did enjoy their character and charm and the outside courtyard was cosy and sheltered but you won't get a game of billiards, pool or darts

We came here for England Denmark match - unfortunately a 1-1 tie but still a great time. Had some Guinness and fries and also tried the lasagna bites.

Awesome pub. Very basic (though they do have music nights etc just not on the night we visited) but such a welcoming team, clean, pleasant and just felt comfortable. Excellent pub!

I only went for a drink, but the place is really big and they have a lot of choices. (Drinks and food). Prices are also good for what they offer. I'll go there again for sure! Edit: ended up coming here almost every evening with my husband. The place feels like home and the owners are simply amazing people, like the rest of the staff. They change beers every now and then which is nice because in this way people can try different ales or lagers. If you have a chance go there, you'll not regret it!

We booked in for lunch, not quite knowing what to expect. In fact, there was an interesting menu, the food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were very substantial. All of which went down very well with us!

Love this place. Great selection of wines and beers, great service, and very welcoming. Super chilled out, a great place to have a few drinks. Lovely halloumi burger, and the curry smells amazing!

Friendly, relaxed pub with plenty of seating in both bars and outside. Live Irish traditional music on a Thursday evening. Decent food, with some vegetarian options and a choice of beers at the taps. It can get a bit busy when groups of work colleagues arrive and tourists find the place, which is just off the beaten track. The service is good and makes for a welcoming atmosphere. A favourite place to chill just off the city centre!

Came here because I needed a fix of Celtic music and happened to be in the neighborhood on Thursday, when there’s a session at Panton Arms. I was so pleased by the service, food, and most of all the music.

Run by a small team of dedicated pub fans. Never takes long to get served, and the food is consistently excellent, with weekly variations on classic dishes. Occasional live music on Thursday (folk) and Saturday bands.

Excellent boozer. Tweezers on hand for punters with splinters - should be mandatory for all respectable public houses.

The best lively pub in town. Live music was great and the service was awesyone. This is a classic pub with some (very few) food options and sticky tables.

We crossed from the nearby Alma Arms to here as we found the Alma too crowded with sports fans watching rugby plus there wasn't much choice of darker more traditional cask ale there. Only 4* as we didn't try the food. Had a 😋stout & the loos were nice🙂

Nice easy going pub. When the weather is nice there's a beautiful garden to enjoy your beer + food. Can get busy at nights and has space to rent for e.g. birthdays etc

Very friendly people and a cozy place. Outdoor seating is available where you can take your beer with you for fresh air/smoke/etc even if you are seated inside. Burger was fine. They have a variety of beers which I liked. Food options were a bit pricey for me though…

The pub is nice but the food is ridiculously overpriced. I ordered a burger that cost £14 and it was terrible. The side was just cheap fried potatoes. I was expecting better for the price. I don't usually write bad reviews but in this case I'm making an exception, sorry.

Stopped for a beer for the name of the place (Pantons are a squadron in Korea), grabbed some nice pics and enjoyed the crisp air and ambiance outside.

Student Pub quite noisy. Heavy smoking outside which seemed to blow into the pub. Could smell this. Lots of tables and food came out quickly. Very popular young person pub. Beer was well kept and crystal clear.

Walked into this establishment, looked very nice and clean. At the bar they had ran out of pretty much every beer. Not great. The man on the customer side of the bar with a beer in hand was talking at me and my partner, he didn't look like a member of staff he had greasy long hair with a hat and a beard and was clearly inibriated. He then told the girl behind the bar to take his 20p towards my round as it would cause them to use all their pound coins up. I asked if he worked here and another member of staff said he did which didn't look very professional. Another customer ordered a beer which by my surprise they had just run out of! The bartender's excuse was that is what happens when you work in a busy bar. Absolutely amazed 😂

The beer was flat, the burger was average, but worst of all some member of staff were really rude. It really spoiled what was a very nice evening with good friends.

This place has changed a lot and it's so good! Kind and helpful staff, great atmosphere, very delicious food, loads of beer snacks which gives you opportunity to enjoy your time with friends in a better way and actually big range of other drinks. Well done. Definitely going to visit this place more often!

Nice beer garden, friendly staff, with a nice selection of beers. Only problem was that they didn't serve food on Monday which we didn't know about will definitely be returning. Returned for a lovely Sunday Roast Dinner one of the best I've had in Cambridge, it was a bit pricey but well worth it.

Had a couple of pints of draught cider. Not sure if there were others on offer. My accomplices had Oakham Citra, St. Austell Tribute and a.n. other (sorry, forgot) and found them very good. Only "blemish" was when 2 of our party had a couple of whiskies, they were served in these very trendy round bottomed glasses, one of which just slid immediately off the varnished and sloped table onto the floor. I suggested to the barman that maybe they serve anything in these glasses in future with a beer mat for grip/traction.

Amazing pub and have the best Sunday roast in Cambridge! Can’t recommend enough!

I am searching for the pub with halloumi burger. But seems this is not the one visited before. It also closed during lunch hour. Keep searching and see if any other pop up.

So I went for a burger here just because I felt like it little did I know that they didn’t serve beef burgers that day unfortunately they on had chicken burger but I didn’t let that stop me.

I'm biased, as this is my Alma Mater (with apologies to The Alma, just up the road) - been going here, on and off, since I was knee-high to a grasshopper, but this is a great pub. Good beer, good friendly service on Friday when we were there last, with the bonus of a great bunch of Irish folk musicians creating the kind of craic you only get with a great bunch of Irish folk musicians

The food here is superb, it does snacks, burgers etc. as well but their main courses were the ones we enjoyed most on a restaurant / pub trip to East Anglia. Staff friendly, jovial and helpful. It's a big pub but with a good atmosphere. we will eat here again when in Cambridge. Good beer too!

A hidden gem in Cambridge. The atmosphere is more than friendly, feels like you are in a family in there. Certainly not the place where someone would go for a cocktail, or fine-dining, but the food we've got was great. I'm glad I found this place at random. Sometimes they have live music events as well.

Good place to watch the rugby and have a few pints.

We went there on a Friday evening after office. Didn't get seat outside in the open area so sat inside. The place was quite crowded and the people there were trying their best to manage it. Good ambience, good drinks and average food.

Was ok. Has a reasonable size courtyard with seating. Our table was next to the road though ... not a very busy road but noisy enough at times to interrupt conversation. On the plus side, the beer was good.

Good place to hangout. Close to train station and can walk easily. Bit inside the alley ways. Easily accessible. Spacious place and well organized during pandamic times. Usually where locals go. Worth visiting!
