My local and is a brilliant place to go for a quick drink with friends and family! I especially love the quiz night on Thursday as it always gets quite busy and is a fantastic environment! Staff are attentive and always willing to help with a smile! Shoutout to Zia, Ryan and Kyra who are great on bar!

Really good drinks, for very good price. Food is average pub grub, good for the price you pay. Accepts blue light discount, so makes a cheap evening out. Thursday evenings - have amazing family fortune quiz. Host is really good fun, a laugh, and friendly. Highly recommend. We have been every week since we found out ! Definitely book a table on quiz nights - highly busy. Good local pub. Friendly staff. Clean environment. Did not rate 5 stars as toilets not always clean, and food is average sometimes.

The first visit in 17 years and the1st to a hungry horse ,we were both very impressed with the quality of food both had fish and chips well cooked and value for money the service was excellent and the staff very caring but the biggest impression was hot plates I hate hot food on cold plates a good experience well done 👏

Arrived for a celebratory meal and drinks, welcomed by staff and ordered food and drinks with ease. One of our party has severe allergies and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. Ciaran in particular was extremely helpful and assured us that all correct precautions would be taken to ensure our meals would be prepared with care. Our meals came very quickly and were all piping hot and very tasty. Great value for money and would highly recommend

After a long walk me and my partner stopped off at the Paddock for a refreshing blood orange cider & beer. The atmosphere of the paddock is always top notch and we always go here even though there are more local pubs near us. The manager and her team are a credit to how hospitality should be done

Top class warm welcome, followed by excellent value for money food. Helpful and attentive staff. Really glad we nipped in for a bite to eat, we were pleasantly surprised.

We booked for 4 of us,ordered our starter and main and they brought all the food out together even tho we said starters 1st and mains after we had finished. Attitude was very rude and in the end we had our money back,we shall never be going back there again

Decided to book a table here for Christmas Eve, myself and my daughter ordered different burgers and were not disappointed. Our table was reserved for us and we were met with a very warm welcome. The food arrived quickly and was delicious and hot. I couldn't finish my own because it was just too massive. We will definitely return again. Big shoutout to Tina for making it such a lovely experience.

Excellent large parking area , fairly busy Saturday evening (19:30),within 10 minutes of ordering food it arrived piping hot ,and cooked to perfection , Excellent quality food, and the service was polite and unobtrusive . Would highly recommend for a decently priced meal out

Service good, food disappointing, chicken under cooked was pink, chips , onion rings very pale in colour and quite cold. Savoury rice wasn’t very good, mainly beans. Fairly cheap for what we got, so wasn’t expecting much but was expecting better.

I am a support worker and attended with a large group of service users, our server Milly was amazing, she was so kind to the service users and accommodated us amazingly, one of our service users had an accident and Milly couldn’t have been more helpful. The food not amazing but good for price. Would go again just down to the amazing hospitality by the server.

Absolutely awful pub The atmosphere here was so, unbelievably feral.. I know it's a family friendly pub but there were far too many un attended children just running around inside, tearing through the doors, shouting and swearing at each other... Then the parents were shouting and swearing at them back!! I'd come with my two young children, I didn't appreciate the amount of bad language they were hearing!! It was absolutely profound and quite frankly disgusting. The smell of cigarettes was also overwhelming, considering we wasn't anywhere near a door or a window! We don't smoke, so trying to eat when all you could smell was that wasn't nice.. By the end of the meal I could feel it at the back of my throat.. I dread to think what it must be like outside! Just when I thought it couldn't get much worse my coffee came in a chipped, dirty cup! I'm not a snobby person, but this pub is absolutely awful and I just wanted to leave! I definitely won't be coming back!!

Food and atmosphere was good. The staff were friendly. One lady bar staff was very lazy and not proactive towards the customer service. However they change the cost of items and charge you more each time you order. 10p each time, starts to add up over a couple of orders.

Just popped in for a couple of drinks and a meal. I opted to have the katsu banquet which after tasting it realised it was a great choice. The salt and pepper chips were amazing. Just like to say thank you to Tom,Scott and Callum for making sure i could change the chicken wings to chicken strips has I don’t like chicken on the bone. Would fully recommend this dish to anyone.

The Paddock is a good pub to grab a pint before or after an Odeon visit nearby, plenty of alcohol options on offer, but the place could do with a bit of TLC and a tv replacement.
