Lovely little friendly pub with really nice food. Has a beautiful little beer garden out the back too. Staff were warm and welcoming, will definitely be back

Food was very nice mixed grill, old faithful burger, child’s meal, was cooked just how we like it, service was spot on, our server was lovely, polite, helpful, chatty, definitely will be back if things remain the same

Brilliant food yet again, plenty of choices and very reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I had Fish and Chips and I must say it was far better than Fish and Chips from Whitby

Food took ages, employee was miserable and didn't care about any food errors. Three of us ordered brownies and one a fudge cake. One brownie was fine the second was frozen and the 3rd had everything missing. The fudge cake was ordered with custard but they had just scooped the icecream off and put it with the brownie which had everything missing.

Very good value. Love our local.xx It's been 6 years since my first review, and my opinion has not changed. I still enjoy regular meals here. It is still incredible value for money. The staff are still amazing. The background music is exactly that, so you can have a conversation and be heard. Here's to the next six years. xx

The Food and drink was decent pub food and cooked to our liking, staff were pleasant and helpful throughout. We had mixed grills, steaks and other dishesoff the menu, all of which came within a reasonable time. I still prefer the sizzling skillets for the mixed grills which seem to have gone nowadays, which is a shame.

Ordered a Greek chicken wrap and when it came I genuinely thought they’d given me bacon or something. It was totally inedible. I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog. I asked the staff if there’d been a mistake and apparently this is the usual quality served with this meal. Dark, pink, purple, greasy and chewy.

Tuesday night a fairly quiet night but food was good and came quickly Jenny even carried the beer to the table, Staff are all ways helpful Jenny Emma and Tania are what make the pub.

Service brill was afternoon so quiet. But enjoyed it.

Haven't been in for years as the food was poor, thought we would give it a second chance. Wish we hadn't! Food was cold, chicken wasn't chicken! Service was slow and it wasn't even busy!

First time in the Owington Pub and can't complain! Lovely pleasant and helpful staff. I got the Laying it on Chick burger, which was lovely especially the nacho cheese sauce - 😋! Mam and dad got the fish and chips and it looked lovely. Nice quality fish and chips and generous portions! Finished off with a mini desert and hot drink. What more could you ask for??

Had the Cluckin' hot stack burger this evening. First try of it, and I'd certainly get it again. Decent sized portion for the price and flavour was unbelievable. Definitely recommend if you're into your burgers.

The 40% off food was great, the food itself wasn't, we waited over a hour for it and when it arrived it wasn't that good

This was our first time here. We ordered on the app, our drinks came. After 45 minutes I went to the bar to ask about our meals. The lady said she'd check, she came back and said ours was the next ones out (it wasn't). After 1 hour and 10 minutes our meals came, I said to the waitress how long we had waited and she did apologise and said there was only 1 chef in. I tried to point out that we should be informed at the time we ordered that there was over an hour wait, to which she replied, if you order on the app you don't get the food any quicker, and that she couldn't do anything else. Missing the point I was trying to make. The first lady came back over and offered a round of drinks. It's a shame because the food was actually really nice, communication and customer service / staff manners have let it down.

Good prompt service, orders easily placed through QR scan from the table. Food was great and good value. Plenty menu options.

Just had a great family meal at the Owington Farm. Great service from friendly staff and lovely food. Food was from their new menu and all arrived hot and together. It was really good. Every member of staff was welcoming and helpful. Will be back.

Not really my vibe to be honest. Music was really loud, though they did turn it down after we had been in a while (maybe heard us screaming at each other across the table) and terrible selection of beer (John Smith's). I guess if it's your local, you like loud music (I do, but not that music) and drink lager this place might be your ideal venue. Unfortunately I like a nice pint of beer and generally prefer to hear what the people I came out with and are sitting next to me are saying, so I'll stick to my usual haunts. Service was fine, not faulting the staff particularly, just wasn't my thing at all.

First time here and last time ever. Service and food was terrible. Staff seemed miserable and food was burnt. Halloumi fries tasted of old oil and fish. Only decent thing was the BBQ sauce. Even the kids fruit shoot bottle was covered in another juice that I had to wipe down. My child wouldn’t eat their chicken even after it had been changed. They really need to change things. It’s not hard to smile and have decent customer service or cook half decent pub food. Feels like nobody can be bothered and the pub has just given up.

Cheap and cheerful. It's a chain pub, so it's consistent. Bit like a wetherspoons except the toilets are within walking distance and arent an inch deep in pish. As for food, if you want gourmet, go to a restaurant. It's pub grub, but it's tasty, and you can't whinge at all with the price. Pintd are fairly priced too. As are the shots. If you're looking for things to whinge about, I'm sure you'll find them, but if you just want some scran and a few pints whilst you watch the match, then it's bang on. Staff are sound too.

Debbie was very helpful and recommended different dishes .My buttermilk burger was very tasty cooked by Stacy.

Lovely quiet atmosphere as one of my grandchildren is autistic. Food lovely although the sizzle plates were a bit too hot as onions carried on cooking and stuck to the platter. But my steak was fabulously cooked and everyone enjoyed the food. Thank you

This used to be a very popular pub, but as with all things , namely breweries they won't spend any money on it . its a former shadow of itsself , you walk in and straight away you think 80's pub ,it needs money spending on it ,if it is survive, I fear this will be gone soon and houses built on the land

Pub is clean and tidy, The timing for food is good, and you are notified if there is a wait, a brilliant atmosphere for all, family friendly pub and also allow dogs in the bar and beer garden. Great value for money.

We attended on a Friday evening after work to owington farm we received a lovely and warm welcome, great friendly staff.

Lovely Friday evening meal before going to the Forum. We enjoyed the atmosphere and Christmas decorations in the pub, much nicer and more welcoming than other pubs in the area. Staff are always friendly and the food arrived sizzling hot not long after ordering. Looking forward to visiting again to take part in the new quiz ☺️

Took my dad for Father’s Day lunch and everything was spot on! Staff were friendly and helpful, both our meals were delicious really good portion sizes we didn’t have room for desserts! We will make sure we have room next time 😋

First visit, they are very very strict about covid rules and tables including table legs are cleaned after every visit!Usual pub grub, served by very friendly staff, could not find anything to complain about. 2 mains for £10, but they had a more extensive menu for those wanting more than a quick bite

Visited tonight. Best ever steak I have had in a pub!! Food is absolutely fantastic and the staff are so helpful. Excellent service. Would definitely recommend!!! Also lots of disinfecting which I haven’t seen in other local pubs. Well done to all xx

Went here for the first time, and will be last, the food well what can I say , I wouldn’t give it to animal, and the staff, if they spent more time wiping tables , in stead of talking, where we where sat, there was a barrier, and we could here every thing, staff to day need some customer training, how to be polite, and not rude, the place was dirty, and I will be writing to head office, absolutely shocking,

Friendly and welcoming pub! Five of us dined during ‘eat out to help out’ and we all throughly enjoyed our visit, cannot recommend the place enough! The food was sizzling and delicious, we all had a main and dessert, clean plates all round! There was a clear ‘safety’ system in place to follow, even though it was busy the staff couldn’t do enough for you, genuinely friendly and helpful, brought your food with masks on and throughly cleaned down tables/ chairs etc. when guests left. Plenty of space between tables making us feel very safe, we will be returning

Had a good time, brilliant food! Staff have been dealing with covid amazing. Clean pub, and hygienic staff who have a clear knowledge of things as they've set the pub up perfectly (table distance, bookings). Just certain customers have no patience or are not adhering to the rules, and even then, staff have dealt with that brilliant, making it a safe place to eat, which is why I keep coming back. Even when having the busy days with the eat out scheme, staff always remained friendly, positive despite being busy, and the little wait I had here, was worth it for the service, and the food.

1st time visit, NEVER AGAIN. Me and my partner booked a table online. When we got there, it wasn’t that busy as I booked online and saw they had many tables available all afternoon and evening. The waitress sat us in the bar area as it was “quieter”. Wasn’t even busy at all actually pretty empty. We ordered our drinks, starters and mains all at the same time, easier and no confusion. We then waited 20-25 minutes for our drinks, and had to go to the bar to prompt the waitress. I then waited another 30 minutes for my starter. So 50 minutes in total. I’m currently sat here writing this review as I’ve been waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes for our mains. Apparently there was a 45 minute wait on food, in which we weren’t told about! We’ve already been up to the bar twice and asked about where our food is and had been shoved off with a “sorry”. I’ve seen a family come and go, also 2 couples that ordered half an hour after us have eaten their food. Absolutely appalling service. Food was average not even that great or worth it. Will never come back.

Just visited the owington farm with my daughter ,to take advantage of the 50% dine out. I also work for Mitchell's and butlers and could also take advantage of our staff discount at the same time,unfortunately when it came to sorting the bill out the poor team hadn't been shown how to take our staff discount off along side the 50%,so therefore left paying with just the 50% taken off the bill. I was happy to do this as the team are lovely,my point is with the management team who should have explained how this system works before leaving the business and leaving the staff not knowing what to do! Please help your team so they dont look silly in front of guests thank you.

I live locally to Owington Farm. We stopped coming as it went downhill. Gotta say folks. Much improved. Clean bright and good pub food. Been coming again for last four weeks or so.

Came out for food with the family, never disapoints, staff are great with my niece and nephews, always on hand for anything they need/ want. Bring them colours and colouring sheets and alwys make them smile, cannot rate them highly enough. Be back soon 🙂

Back for 3rd time this month for pretty much the same food /drinks as lovely. Reasonable prices. Quick service. Toilets clean. What else can I say... Except try the garlic bread with pulled pork it's devine. Recommend a visit.

Went for lunch with friends, food was very nice as always when i come here, prices are decent too. Staff always on hand to help.

Firstly we were disappointed as only one staff member serving so we had to wait awhile, not a problem, but staff member did not say ‘sorry for your wait’, then when trying to order two Surf and Turfs we were told they had run out of steaks. This is not the first time that they had run out of the food we wished to eat, again, it looked like the server did not care. We reordered, the food arrived within a reasonable time, and was cooked reasonably well. We will not return as we have had better cooked food and better service. It is a shame really as we have been coming here for over 12 years for meals.

Have visited few times before but mainly for a drink. But decided to pop in for lunch, and had the grilled chicken burger with chips, but I asked if i could swap my chips for salad.

Went for tea on Friday. Food was lovely and the pink gin bar was very very nice. Staff were brilliant, couldn't fault them. Will be visiting again soon.
