Stopped by for a bit of lunch after a long walk, food was nice, only ordered sandwiches which came with a side salad, not loads of flavour but nice enough.

Called in for a late lunch after a walk up Nine Standards. Very friendly service and lovely cafe food. Great place in the lovely town of Kirkby Stephen, we will certainly return.

Excellent staff, rooms, food. We just found our new go to hotel. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

Having been informed that this hotel is to close permanently we booked in for a night with Dinner- 7 course taster menu with wine and Bed and Breakfast. The service was excellent and the food sublime.
