I was ordered chicken tikka with donner meat masala last week with naan charge me £14 only one deal I don’t care but food was put in bin so horrible Taste and smell like burnt chink tikka colour was dark brown very disappointed they deserve 1 star

Take away only. Food absolutely delicious..been coming here for years for our curries... even take them to our friends up north and family down south... so good xx

Omg, just ordered 2 different curry's, ordered chicken karahi and chicken Achari, ordered small but gave us 2 large, the food was brilliant, and cheers for the up grade on the large for nothing too, 100% recomend and freshly cooked and the taste was excellent, poperdom where nice too and also given extra there too. 10/10 100%

Very food food here at MB have to recommend their new Milkshakes as i tried their Bubblegum ripple and it was out of this world.

Had to try the new Milkshakes and got to say it is one of the best. They have also started doing burgers. Would like to thank the team at MB for always making some smashing food.

First time ordering food came in the bag not in the container the cheesy chips was not cooked, absolutely disgusting behaviour from staff, rude as anything, will never order from there again disgusting place

What's happened here!! Why does this taste so different? Where are the original chefs?? Has this place changed ownership or management. Not good at all... Been going to Medina Bismillah well over 10 years and always like to get the Mixed Grill Pizza and yes I know it tastes like a curry on a pizza but that's why we love it and it very rarely disappoints...well todays definitely did, was this just our bad luck!! Not happy at all. In these times of economic hardship forking out for a pizza isn't a luxury we can readily afford so when we do we expect the same quality and taste that we have had over all these years. The last time we ordered was a few months ago and the tell tale signs were there then too and that was the first time since the pandemic we'd been. The base of the pizza was much thicker although uneven but the taste was still there...just about. Noticed the toppings were sparse too. Thought it was just a one off so gave them another chance. This time around the pizza looked and tasted completely different...basically a generic Asian style pizza with the most measly quantity of meat. I mean one small piece of chicken or lamb on each slice! You taking the mick or what! This could borderline pass as vegetarian! Beware of the online promotion also...10% off not really since there is a service charge applied as well! If the original guys who ran this place are no longer involved in any shape or form the name should not be the original medina bismillah...cause this isn't. One star cause the food was edible but you've lost a loyal customer. Hope you get your act together otherwise you'll lose more. Not happy and no longer recommended.

Had currys from here for years and would have always recommend but unfortunately tonight after arriving 40 minutes late my food was cold and curry tasted bitter and burnt. Tried ringing but busy . Very disappointed

We used to eat here all the time. Then moved far away but still travel and order from here every chance we get. There’s no taste like it and everyone friendly.

This takeaway is great. They have beautiful foods and are now starting burgers soon too which is a plus as i can get pizza curries AND BURGERS all in one place. Cant wait to try your burgers.

Does anyone know why the original Chefs left? Really sad to say, that as my go to takeaway since it opened and I mean since it very first opened the MB is not what it was, since the change in Chefs/ownership. The food is not as well prepared, ingredients are being skimped on. I ordered a Chicken Rogan Josh and the dish was too runny, too much sauce and tiny little pieces of chicken. Even the Bhajis that I ordered came with a tiny pot of Yogurt, where before it was a proper yogurt, mint, tomato and onion offering. Don't know why the guys sold up. I have given the BM a chance or two since it changed hands, but unfortunately I will now look elsewhere and will not buy from the new people again. Don't wish to knock anyone's business guys, but you need to raise your game. Maybe get back one or more of the original Chefs? I suspect most of the positive reviews you are receiving are from fam. and friends.

I've had currys from you since you opened. So for many years. They have always been excellent. Consistently good. Tonight I was disappointed. The roti was fat. The popadoms were soggy. The bhajis were brown on the outside and undercooked on the inside and the rice was hard and in lumps. I realise now the shop has changed ownership. What a shame.

I placed my order on the website to receive my food at 8.50pm. However, I received my food more than an hour early at around 7.40pm. No apology and no explanation was given. I should not have accepted the food but had no other option as I had guests over. Very disappointed and will not be using again. If I could leave no stars at all I would. Do not order from their website as it is clearly not very reliable at all.

Ordered chicken jalfrasie and chicken takeaway madras,this used to be a great curry house years ago.inc nan and 3 jappaties 29 quid to the door,wish I hadn't bothered,it hit the bin hard after trying, tough, tasteless, unsatisfying meat.very salty,the toilet got a hammering 4 times to boot.my backside is like Japanese flag now,cheers.🙃🤢

Took nearly 2 hours to arrive, when it did the karahi was so salty. Plus my stomach was really upset the next day. Been ordering from here for over 2 years but last night's order will be my last.

Got some chapati, literally came home in 2 minutes and open the bag it was proper cold called them,the guys said make it warm then what a bloody joke terrible customer service on phone specially the guy who picked phone all the time look like he need to sort his attitude

I have been using this take away for a number of years now but not any more. The last 5 orders I have made have been at least 1 hour 20 mins for delivery and as I type what will be my last order I have now been waiting for 1 hour 40 minutes and it still hasn't arrived. Quality and portion size of food has really gone downhill recently as well. I will use another take away from now on as the service here is shocking. They say 50 mins for delivery on website but they don't come any where near that. Lots of other better take aways to choose from in Huddersfield. They have destroyed what used to be a good reputation. IT TOOK 2 HOURS TO GET THE FOOD IN THE END AND THEY OFFERED NO DISCOUNT, NOTHING !

Got a delivery to Mirfield first time I have tried this place found on uber eats. Absolutely delicious curry will definitely order from here again delivery driver was a lovely guy I would of give 6 stars if I could .

4th time we have placed an order with this takeaway and the deliveries are getting later and later. In fact, the last order (and it was a decent sized order) was 45 minutes late and the food that eventually arrived was cold. Had to microwave the food. Rang the takeaway and they didn't give a toss, so that is why I have scored the mininum for the review. Will not be ordering again that is for sure

Ordered from this place every time when we are over this side of Hudd's and want a "good curry". Were super hungry not eaten all day and had been talking about how good the food should be to my brother on way over. But on this occasion they were the worst curries we have ever had, ever( being asian we eat a lot of curry) Daahl might of been ok, slightly under spiced for a medium but onion had charred taste thats spread throughout giving it a sweet burnt flavour. Lamb kharahi...worst of the lot wasnt spiced right at all. Tasted/ looked like someone had scooped only a huge amount of tandoori paste or powder wet it with oil water and nothing else.... Was just gloopy bright red thick cooked poweder still grainy...so not kharahi spice mix at all. Very hard to eat because of all tandoori powder. We threw over 3/4 it away. Chicken masala hadn't much spice/ flavour was more a slightly spiced gravy had a weird after taste. Only plus of whole experience was naan was nice...other than that was a complete waste of money would of complained/ returned food if we had lived locally. Dont think we will return again when we are back over. Not worth the risk.

Ordered a large mixed kebab an received about 15 small pieces of chicken and what look likes lamb. Place is a joke. Guy on the phone is useless

We live in mirfield and delivery driver said “we really appreciate ordering from so far away”. Says it all about these guys. Tasty fresh food and for it to be delivered with such a polite manner was heartwarming and refreshing. The food is fantastic, would highly recommend

Have been coming here since it opened. Tried loads of other places but no where compares. Now travel from Bradford still to get their korma and chicken tikka special. Always consistent!

Curries are best abart, end of story!

Been using Medina Bismillah for years. Food was and is always great. I usually go and collect my order. However, this time decided to have it delivered as we were watching a film. Kept getting texts to say there was a delay, but then couldn't settle to anything else apart from listening for the doorbell to ring. Rang the restaurant who said they'd try to keep the food hot, but it arrived warm, so had to heat it in the oven. Driver said there was so much business that evening he couldn't get round his route quick enough. They are a good takeaway, but I just won't arrange delivery again.

Food arrived late and cold told delivery driver who refused to do anything about it and walked away leaving me on my doorstep with a luke warm curry and cold chips and rice. Absolutely awful service

the curry was tooo saucy.All sauce very little meat dont buy currys from here second time in a week this takeawy as let me down.

Always order our curries from here and they are always full of flavour. Delivery always on time and the driver is really polite.

Normally about 10 minutes late which im not botherd about but today was 30mins if not more, food is very tasty and beautiful one of the best about. But unfortunately today it was stone cold all of it which was very disappointing, i understand places can be busy but like i said normally beautiful food.

Ordered a lamb masala very disappointing all i got was load of mush, 3 very tiny small pieces of lamb and way too much sauce! Threw it away. Getting very stingy on the meat. Wasted £9 that was inc delivery. Should of bloody order a pizza from pizza place next door at least they never let me down.

Food always spot on. But on this occasion one if the dishes 'chicken korma' chosen for the children tasted far too sweet and looked so pale. Was wasted, as the grandkids hated it, and I tasted if and totally agreed. Will not buy this item again, anytime soon.

Only issue we had with the delivery was the poppadoms were missing and the keema curry box was damaged

Best curry in Hudds bar none, only minor criticism is that I prefer a ‘lighter’ naan, theirs seems to be a bit dense and doughy, regardless of which variety I order. Rogan Josh was sublime, as always

Disgusting so ordered a kabab and when I say it had literally 10 strips of Donna meat and about 4 shreds of lettuce ! That wouldn't even fill my 2 year old son never mind me so I called up and told them and they had cheek to say it's the portion size lol ! Won't order again ! Rude customer service and really short on food portions to short !!!! Avoid !!!

Been a few times now and the food is always fantastic. Curries are authentic and not just a couple of base sauces they add to - everything's made from scratch. Sides and kebabs are better than most as the meat is great quality. Portion sizes are great also.

Delivery guy is the friendliest most professional I have met. Came early with what is now my second order. Absolutely faultless food, cannot praise them enough.

Ordered earlier in the week and the tikka makhan was beautiful. This time the sauce had split, ordered a naan and a paratha and both were identical and the naan burnt and super greasy. Really disappointing especially with it being late, I don’t mind waiting if it’s nice but when half of it is inedible ifs not really on.
