Great takeaway Chinese, always delivers quality and quality. We had prawn toast, chicken balls in batter, chicken and cashew nuts, chicken chow mein and chicken fried rice. All delicious.

They have a small, simple eat in area but mainly do take-away. I've done both but got take-away this time: 1 x beef chow mein + 1 x sweet & sour chicken + 2 x egg fried rice = £20.

Fairly standard order but fast service, reasonably priced and great taste.

Love this Chinese, friendly staff, good delivery and nice food. However, the past couple of months when we’ve tried to order, we can’t pay by card due to their PayPal being down. I thought this would’ve been resolved by now, as it’s been down for around a month and a half, and I never carry cash on me anymore. Bit of a nuisance that it hasn’t been fixed yet. Hopefully it’ll get fixed soon.

We ordered a meal for delivery on New Year’s Eve 2019. Well priced, great Value For Money. Very tasty selection, not at all gloopy! Delivered on time, too. We’d definitely return for another one.

Took a chance on this Chinese restaurant/takeaway as my usual one has revamped and doesn’t deliver so opted for a delivery ordering one of the set boxes which was a sweet chicken and rice I asked to change it for pork balls and rice and they was perfectly ok with that, told me 30 mins delivery wasn’t a minute over steaming hot and I’d eat the lot in 10 mins would use again definitely recommended

Went in as my first choice did not open till 6pm. Should have been my last. Grease duck under cooked onion. Avoid

We eat at this little takeaway often. The eating area is small with plastic table cloths so no frills. But the food is fantastic. The owner makes me a dish with fried bean curd, broccoli and cashew nuts in chilli garlic sauce. It’s fantastic my husband loves the mixed meat starter and has a similar main course to me but his has king prawns instead of bean curd.

Quick delivery. Amazing god. Best Chinese around! x

Really good,, been looking for a new Chinese take away for ages,, reviews looked good so gave it a go.. was told 29 - 40 mins for delivery.. knock at door 25 mins later.. greeted by a very smart guy in chiefs whites and knew straight away this was going to be good.. "keep change" and yes wow so good it was perfect.. 168 Nottingham Road will be ordering again👍👍😄👍

I was visiting relatives in Kimberley again so was back to this restaurant. Third review. I ordered a take-away, although they also have a small eat-in area. The food was prepared in a few minutes, and was excellent for a very reasonable price (£26.50 for eight dishes).

Decent food with good ingredients at a fair price

Never had a bad experience use at least once a week if not twice, speedy delivery, brilliant prices, they know my order off by heart, Singapore chow mien is delicious. Top spot for me in takeaway table

We have had two take away meals from the Oriental and both have been very good. Delivered on time to our home, each time we have had enough left over to make a second meal. So the value for money is excellent.

i use this place often for takeaways never had a problem with the food the shredded chilli beef is mmmm and the currys not bad either would deff recommend this place i use it every other week and have yet to be dissapointed

Second review. Once again I was visiting relatives in Kimberley, this year we had a take-away rather than eating in. A few logistical things: the restaurant is where the old Ozone bar used to be and has kept the sign; credit cards accepted; although the restaurant is in the Nottingham conurbation, it's actually in Kimberley, a few miles north of the city. The food was simply superb, huge portions for reasonable prices, with kind & professional service (as we were in China in August we know our Chinese food!) We will be back!

First time we had tried this place for a take away. Chicken in the dishes looked like it had been boiled in water, very rubbery. Other dishes very watered down and runny. No taste at all. Very expensive for the small amount of food we ordered. Would not use again.
