Have always loved the stillage as a local since i moved to the area, mainly for the laid back, cosy atmosphere and music on the weekends. I heard rumours that the Sunday roast was great and I was not disappointed! We had a table of 12 of us and everyone loved the food. Best roast I have had in ages. Stillage has always been a wicked pub but it feels like they have upped there game even more recently. I feel lucky to have such a great pub so close by!

The food was very nice. I had a lovely beef, great selection of vegetables and Yorkshire pudding with an extra of cauliflower cheese. The roast potatoes weren't that great, but the rest was top quality for me. We had to wait for our meal around 40 mins and the pub was quite cold hence points down for service and athmosfere. They don't serve tea either, which I thought was a bit odd for the place that serves food.

Nice place, but it’s the face of gentrification in the area. You’ll be surrounded by boring upper middle class white people, rather than the vibrant community that used to live here

I enjoy going to this pub, it isn't one I visit regularly but over the years it been consistently good. They have a good range of beers and there's always a cheaper ale on for those on a budget. A pretty spacious and lively place, got a mix of tables and chairs as well as sofas. It always feels very welcoming and cozy and the staff and locals are always friendly. Pretty sure there's an internet duke box in there too. All in all worth a visit.

This is a great local pub with friendly staff and atmosphere. Fabio, the italian stallion, is a rock guitar legend, Rae is a true Ray of sunlight and Izzy is the queen of style! Tim is a quiet force that the pub cannot do without and Jamie puts on a party like no other. Keith is an amazing all rounder and sound engineer on live music nights. Good music, pool table and a great outside space with cool art work.

Great atmosphere in this down to earth local pub with friendly staff, customers and some fantastic music, entertainment, outside area to the rear and a pool table to boot. What more could you ask, the drinks are very affordable and the pub is very active in supporting the local community and events. 10/10

We had mega Sunday roast here for 8 of us all a mix of vegan veggie gluten free and meat eaters and we all enjoyed it. And they are dog friendly and they have a garden! The staff were friendly, food was great want to come back for sure. And the music nights sound great too.

From outside this pub doesn't look as authentic as it is from inside. Really good value for money 👌

Proper pub, even smells a bit stinky! Wonderful jazz night on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Open mic on the 2nd. Often have djs and bands playing.

Second Thursday of the month is open mic night! Much fun to be had.

Really friendly local pub. I'd ordered a Sunday roast which was fantastic. I'd been to the pub once before, pre-covid, and at the time I sat in the garden. I was struck then by the friendliness of the staff and the locals. Well worth a visit, they also have open mic nights and a juke box!

Very accommodating staff and perfect service. When I mentioned that i am accompanied by my pet chicken Stanley they made sure that Stanley and I got a nice corner table with plenty of natural light

Turned up for a 3pm booking for a Sunday roast to be told there were none. When I queried why considering we'd booked, was met with, 'I don't know'. No apology and the guy who took my booking wouldn't even look at me and instead sent the young bar girl to come and tell us, despite it clearly being his mistake. Probably the most unfriendly service I've encountered in a while.

I couldn’t recommend the Sunday Roast more! Ordered and collected within just a couple hours, the staff were lovely upon collection & the food was exceptional. Every part of the roast tasted amazing, and was still hot when home. Really good portion sizes & all for such a good price!

Went for the Sunday roast which was excellent quality with generous portions and good vegetarian option. Best bit for me there was plenty of gravy so no need to order extra which I usually have to. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Absolutely fantastic pub with a great vibe any and everyone is really loving this place. It's a really good place to meet new people .it really is great fun. I love it. And the Sunday roast is out of how your mum did it. That's if your mum did a good job. The bar staff are a part of your experience while you are there. The decor is fantastic with a never ending story theme but in a adults throw back stile. The garden is something you have to see for your self and if you want to have a drink and sunbathe? When it shines that garden gets it all day. Really good D.Js at weekend with lots of space to dance. In the summer you might find live music playing from the balcony down to the garden. Vapours are welcome but not cloud vapours! It never gets so packed that you can't move. There is a pool table that is used sociabley which is good. The landlord Nimo is a very nice man from Canada who loves his customers but unfortunately unable to join in the fun atmosphere that he and his loyal employees have created due to being a bit poorly. Tim, the new manager is keeping in touch with the the way that the pub is run and told me that this is what a pup should be and hasn't been happier .prices on drinks overall are really good. Please step in and enjoy. Ps I really am just a customer. Xx.
