Can't believe this place isn't busier. Best cafe in Bishopston! Delicious fresh cooked food, great coffee, good prices, gorgeous garden area out the back, large portions.

Nice looking place with friendly staff. I’ve been here many times over the years for breakfast but the most recent time I took my new boyfriend on a visit back to Bristol from Surrey. Unfortunately we both had runny omelettes with raw spinach. It’s a shame as I’ve always had good experiences. The flavours were good but it needed longer in the pan.

Terrible service. We went at lunchtime and the staff were just sitting at a table chatting, with no interest in serving us. They couldn't have made us feel less welcome. Its a real shame as the food was nice, but being made to feel like we were interrupting their socialising doesn't make for a nice dining experience

Excellent first time with wife and kids On the food wise croissant was excellent Cheese pasty was a let down hardly any cheese just pastry that's why 4stars

Such a warm welcome when one steps in. Am awesome latte with home made baklava. What a treat. A hidden gem would recommended one does not walk past. Highly recommend.

Amazing Turkish breakfast. Peach iced tea was made with strong real black tea. The seating was a tag uncomfortable for me but overall we really enjoyed our brunch!

Incredible find on Gloucester Road! The food is superb beautifully served and so well cooked! Lovely front area on the street as well as the internal area and also a back area. Very friendly and quick service . Recommended!

An absolute favourite of mine in Bristol. Delicious meze, fantastic options, friendly service, and all very affordable especially if sharing with a group. This place is a hidden gem!

After not been here for a few years now, the decor has changed (and very nice it is too) but the service and food are still so delightful!! Very pleasant helpful staff!! And the best omelettes!!! Just a lovely place!!!

Small portions, not traditional turkish breakfast as they say, no turkish tea and way too expensive

I’m currently standing outside having ordered food online via their website. They are closed. Don’t trust the opening hours on google or the online order function! Hopefully I can find a way to get a refund… food good in the past, but disappointed tonight.

Absolutely love this place! If you are missing Turkey with all the currently travel restrictions, Lazz Lounge is a little piece of Turkey hidden on the Gloucester Rd! Amazing delicious food, great atmosphere, a fantastic Turkish welcome and great choice of drinks drinks cocktails and of course Efes too. 100% recommended

Great staff, great food and great location. Turkish breakfast makes an English breakfast look like a kids meal. Turkish food is simply the best and the community vibe of Lazz Lounge makes the visit a pleasure too. I will be back!

Roast pepers from jar/tin, salad was not fresh, lamb was chewy, they brought the main with the starters AND they Forgot one of the mains. No one even came to the table to apologise and or say they were actually cooking it... It was not a random event. Next table was also talking about the service they received. I am not sure what happened to them, but the waiter got their coffee and tea to us when we just sat down. They didn't even ask if that was for us. They left t the coffe and tea on our table and left. So the others customers told us that was probably theirs... As if all of this was not enough, PRICES ARE NOT VERY FRIENDLY AT ALL. So yes, only go there if you don't want to have a good experience. Went the other evening for a friends birthday, had lots of different mezze dishes and I can honestly say I couldn’t fault one of them. Each dish had lots of flavour and was presented lovely. Will definitely be returning.

Very lovely little bar/restaurant here. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. Seating available inside and outside. A good range of food and drinks are available. Very clean and tidy. Nice decor and well laid out. Nice little touches of the flowers on each table. Reasonably priced as well. We only stopped for drinks, but we will definitely return for some food.

Gorgeous mezze options, and delicious vegan breakfast, full of flavour, texture and colour. Great ambience surrounded by flora, felt like we'd escaped to Turkey for the morning.

Hidden gem on Gloucester Road. Visited with a friend for their Turkish breakfast which was so generous with its portion size we struggled to finish it between 2 of us! We had the baklava for dessert and it was served warm with a side of ice cream. Their passion fruit lemonade was so refreshing. Will most definitely be visiting here again very soon!

Reservamos una mesa con 5 días de antelación y al llegar nos dijeron que no teníamos reserva. Mostró al personal el registro de la llamada y el personal hizo todo lo posible para complacernos. Después de un poco de faffing con mesas, nos acomodaron en la sección al aire libre que habíamos reservado. La comida era deliciosa y el personal era encantador. , Un ambiente encantador, pasamos aproximadamente 4 horas en el restaurante en total. Hubo un poco de espera para la comida, posiblemente debido a lo ocupado que estaba el restaurante, pero tuvimos una buena puesta al día, así que esto no nos molestó. Lo recomendaría y volvería a visitar, pero tal vez vuelva a verificar la reserva.

Ordered Sunday brunch for delivery via UberEats. No food ever arrived during the half an hour delivery window. No text, call or email from restaurant. After the time was up, the order and indeed the whole place was showing up as "currently unavailable." I have no idea what happened. I suppose they just were not in the mood to cook for a customer or to let them know that the order is cancelled? Well, there's plenty of other places that might want my custom.

Just had an amazing lunch...a huge sharing Mezze platter, was to die for. The house wine was so delicious and very good value for money. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.

Absolutely lovely meze. Took my friend for her birthday as we fancied something different. Staff were very attentive & accommodating. I am a vegetarian & the meat was placed separately. Dessert was to die for. Highly recommend.

Excellent food in a smallish terraced shop front (though has been thoughtfully expanded with street side glassed area, small café eating area and quite large conservatory with retractable ceiling). Very imaginative. Good value food and welcoming staff.

Tasty full English breakfast, attentive service, food arrived quickly and was freshly cooked. If I had to find fault, beans were little less hot than I would have liked. Used Groupon vouchers so great value for money

Had the mixed mezze and was really tasty. Highlight was the aubergine dip. Full of interesting fresh flavours. Would maybe go for the purely vegetarian option next time as that seemed to be the tastiest parts. We were served by a great really friendly waitress who even helped in choosing a shisha flavour and getting it strengthened as not to be too full on for my untrained self!

Food is OK but service is unbelievably slow. The place was nearly empty yet it took 45 minutes to get our food and all we'd ordered was a panini and 2 chicken wraps. When asked why it was taking so long when the place was nearly empty I was told there were people out the back. Had already been out there and there one small group of people.
