The Old Sawmill Café in Craven

3 1/2 not 3 Visited here after doing the lovely nature trail. Cheese and pickle sandwich although packed with cheese the bread didn't appear very fresh. Cherry scone was a touch on the dry side Coffee and walnut cake was very nice Very good pot of tea Very friendly staff

Realy interesting venue in the old sawmill which has been imaginately converted to the cafe. Friendly and efficient staff. Generous helping of tasty tomato and pepper soup. First visit however it won't be the last.

Excellent service and great choice of food, most of which is locally sourced. Cakes to die for and fab coffee. Interesting building and sawmill / hydro-electric artefacts/ information boards.

This is where you buy tickets for nature trail and cave. Cafe is busy most of the time as only one in the village. Had delicious chippy butty after finishing the trail. Cakes looked good but couldn’t fit them in! They are super dog friendly and my dog was given treats and lots of attention. He can’t wait to go back!! The interior was quirky with pieces from the old saw mill. Looked interesting. The waterfall just outside was beautiful just like the riverside walk in the village. Can’t park outside the cafe no room. Need to park in the village car park and walk 5 mins along the river.

Such a wonderful location right at the head of the Ingleborough trail. Food spot on for a simple lunch for my elderly father, Laurie, who only needs a lighter bite. He also has dementia and it was fantastic that staff were very kind to him, such an asset in a place indeed. We shall definitely be back again and recommend it to others, particular older people who would benefit from the location and compassionate environment. Thanks to the staff all round.

Amazing breakfast…. As a local breakfast and cafe connoisseur - can’t believe I haven’t ventured this far! Lovely building and location, friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Great spot close to the walking trails and near car park. Lovely atmosphere, good selection of food and reasonably priced. Coffee tastes great and so do the cakes! Paninis were a slight let down, salad wasn’t garnished and bread itself wasn’t anything special. Overall pretty happy with our visit and would definitely visit again.

This is one of my favourite haunts after a walk. We've had bacon butties, toasties, cakes and last week had the best Yorkshire Pud with sausage, roasties, peas and gravy - a bargain at £8.50. It's worth going in to read about the history of the Old Saw Mill. Although we only live 6 miles away, it's a regular call for us after a walk around Clapham/Austwick area. Excellent coffee too - always hot (which isn't often the case these days with these new fangled coffee machines). 100% I'd recommend this amazing cafe. Defo one of a kind.

Called in for drinks and snacks after a good walk along the trail. And I have to say what a fab little place. Wonderful coffee and amazing cake. My husband was especially impressed with homemade sausage roll. The staff were really lovely even though experiencing some technical issues with the till which must have been stressful during a busy period. Well worth a visit

Stopped here after walking the ingleborough trail. 3 mile walked finished with chicken nuggets and chips for the kid and a lovely homemade vegetable soup. Really nice cup of coffee would recommend and come back

This was the worst money I’ve ever spent. We decided to try here for a change. All I can say it was an over priced Greg’s but lower quality. The tables were not clean the cutlery and plates were all throw away use once. At the price we paid I would have expected much more. We will not return.

Excellent flat white. Dog friendly. Beautiful unique interior. Had our coffee sitting by the waterfall - just lovely. Was also recommended by locals when we stayed in nearby Austwick which we took to be a good sign. Always happy to support independents.

This cafe is the best reason to start and end your walk in Clapham. Really cheery, warm place with friendly service.
