Nice and cosy village pub with a variety of ales 🍻 didn't try the food but service was good, atmosphere was good 👌

Good choice for drinks. Live music, watching football match or playing billiard and other games.

Used to be a good village pub, not anymore. Do not expect food - they don't serve food anymore !! Make sure to have deep pockets as the price of drinks is really high, 50p a pint increase just a few weeks ago ! Such a shame how it's gone.

Called in with two friends after a very disappointing visit to The Plough and Harrow for a night cap. We got a very warm welcome from the barman which can be more than said from what we got from the previous establishment!!! Will visit again next time we're out and about in Drakes Broughton.

Went to watch the England game here and ended up having a lovely curry and the drinks are fairly cheap to. Went a few times after and a great atmosphere every time.

Fantastic meal great staff and management couldn't do enough for us big shout out to G for a great night top man.

Rude girl bartender. She served foreigners with prejudice and unfriendly.

We always enjoy coming here for a drink so when we heard that there was a special Hallloween event for families we signed up. Excellent organisation from the moment we booked and throughout the evening. Fab Halloween ghost trail with scary witches, clowns etc. A fun time had by all. Facilities at the pub were great with a large, warm marquee with a separate cinema area. Easy to order drinks via text. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended. 3 happy children 😊👻🎃

Three of us came for Sunday roast lovely food Two of us had Beef the other chicken comes with a lovely leek & cheese sauce roast potatoes , Yorkshire pudding, seasonal veg , gravy . We also hade the chocolate cheesecake, Nice pint of larger too . Two lovely waitresses served us . Dog friendly, We sat outside as it’s COVID nice and safe . Plus it was a lovely summer’s afternoon. Will definitely return. Thank you.

Three of us came for Sunday lunch , Two of us had the beef the other had roast chicken. Lovely roast dinner , For afters we had the cheesecake which was massive and very nice . A lovely pint of Carling too . We sat outside to eat as it was a lovely afternoon served by two lovely waitresses. The pub is very dog friendly aswell . Will definitely be returning. We visited The Old Oak on a sunday afternoon we had a few drinks and a meal food is amazing. At this moment in time it has great social distancing with the lovely staff bringing drinks to the table which are ordered by texting, hand sanitizer inside and outside to use. 100% recommend you give The Old Oak a visit.

We booked the Old Oak in advance for a Monday. The entertainment was delightful as it set the mood throughout the night. The singer was superb so in line with his piano skills (truly amazing!). The 3 course menu was mouthwatering. We had salmon as a starter, pork and beetroot mash (for making) and to finish off I had the lemon tart. Very efficient service throughout! The staff were so polite and helpful. A truly lovely evening out!

Lovely local pub with some great fast food options, i went for the tandoori chicken flat bread and my partner went for fish and chips which was very good and decent value. Staff was very welcoming and offered us free drink each due to sitting outside/under a canopy in middle of a thunderstorm

Great place, wouldn't have known about it if it hadn't been listed on Pershore Patty's Foodie Card site. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. One of the best roasts we've had in a long time (and we can be quite fussy). Will definitely be back to try one of the weekday deals.

A group of us met up for a celebratory meal, the staff were very accommodating, warm & very friendly- not many places allow you to have sprinkles on the table but the staff were so nice about it. The food was just delicious, for 5 of us we were so noisy & the staff joined in with our banter. The owner came over to us especially and was so accommodating. I would highly recommend this lovely, cosy country pub, that is dog friendly too. Well worth a visit.

Ventured to the pub on a Friday evening with a group of friends and the atmosphere was excellent. Great prices on beer in the early evening when it is happy hour up to 18:30.

The Old Oak is one of those rare village pubs where locals and visitors are equally welcomed. There’s a great mix of customers, from people having casual drinks, eating in the restaurant or just popping in out of the cold for a quick one by the fire. Great drinks, great food, great place and great people behind the bar - what more do you want from a village pub? The themed food nights are a highlight for me, but you can’t go wrong if you’re just after a couple of beers around the fire. Check it out!

Me and my girlfriend went for a drink and some food, we were initially surprised to see that the restaurant was packed, but thankfully we didn’t have to wait long for a table. When the food came we realised why it was so busy, a real hidden gem finally bringing some good food to the village. After the meal, we then went into the bar for a drink. The staff there are an absolute credit and the atmosphere was brilliant. We were welcomed like it was our local (which it now is). I really couldn’t recommend this pub any higher, it’s friendly with great food and great prices

Me and my mates always go to the Old oak for a few beers and a chat with some casual food. The food is excellent and staff is great aswell! Would recommend to anyone in the local area to try this place out as you won’t be disappointed.

Very disappointed. Used to be a favourite stopoff on the way to an event in the village. The evening we called in before Christmas though, it was very unpleasant - noisy and chaotic. Bar staff told us they don't even serve coffee now. We thought it had gone downmarket in the past year.

I went here for dinner with my family over the Christmas period, they were able to create a large table for us all to sit on and catered to everyone’s dietary requirements. Service was fast and staff very polite! Everyone loved the food! I had a freshly baked pizza with pepperoni served with fresh coleslaw and chips, it was absolutely delicious definitely recommend :)! I will most definitely be returning soon!

Fantastic place! Just moved to the village and was shocked at how friendly the staff are. Special shout out to Gwen. Nothing is too much trouble. Food is delicious (make sure you try the Sunday lunch). The banter on a Saturday afternoon is great. Drop in and sit by the fire, you won't be disappointed with this hidden gem!

Me and my partner were hungry and phoned up to reserve a table. We both tried the Chicken wrapped in bacon with pork stuffing and sautéed potatoes. The food looked burnt and overdone from first impressions, but thought I would try it. The chicken tasted like rubber and the only good part of the meal was the stuffing ball. Me and my partner have both been off work due to violently vomiting up old oaks terrible food. Food poisoning was the cause which is confirmed by our doctor who said raw meat contaminated cooked meat disgusting.

First time I have ever eaten here. Homemade Curry,Chapattis & Samosas. Lovely,would go again. My husband tried the Burger on a Friday evening,very very nice.

Popped in for a beer and some food. Some nice beers available and a very helpful barman. Daytime food bit limited but chose a pizza to share. Sat in rear garden as it was a nice day, bit scruffy and could do with some tidying and painting. Pizza came and was nice, not the best or worst I've had, probably a bit too much cheese for my liking. Seemed a very local pub and food appeared secondary in my opinion. I hear they have pop up chefs here which sound quite good but no experience of these.

Real ales, bar snacks, pizza was fresh and tasty.

Quiet pub where you can have a conversation

Normally go to the Plough & Harrow but popped into the Old Oak for a change. New management has definitely given the venue a boost, especially with the menus. Would come back again.

Lovely owner, bargain prices and genuinely the nicest pub food I've ever had. Well worth the trip up their from Walsall after a friends recommendation and hope to visit again soon as the pizza alone would be worth it!

Unfortunately there was a mix up with our order, however I still rate it 5 stars because the way it was handled was absolutely first class and because of this, I will definitely be returning. The quality of the food was superb. Has a great quiet pub garden too.

After long drive from Aberdeen, passed this unique little pub by accident and decided to get something to eat and drink. WHAT a great decision that turned out to be......The staff were fantastic, really helpful and attentive. The beer was first class and well priced. Decided to eat and was absolutely blown away by the food. If I could afford it, I would fly once a week as a regular to this hidden gem of a place.

Been past loads of times and always thought it looked good, but was very quiet for a Friday night, should have taken the hint!!

Beautiful food and lovely country pub

First time eating here since the pub 'changed hands' and it did not disappoint. Ribeye steak, Cod loin and Chocolate Brownies all were delicious, well done to the Chef and to the really great guy who waited on our table, great job done and service with a friendly smile! Food does take a little while to come out but that wasn't a problem as the gin selection is quite good!! Will definitely be back to try something else on the menu or even try their takeaway service, pizza or a curry maybe. All in all worth a visit. Dogs are welcome too.

Food was lovely and the atmosphere was cosy and family friendly. Wasn’t hard to find either and the interior was really nice. Really happy with the cocktails as well, definitely will be back again!

What a little gem! Think beautifully set in the local drakes broughton community. Friendly folkes from the area in a chilled bar area great for watching the footy and you can even bring your dog. The restaurant area is completely separate and although they were kind enough to allow me to eat in the bar area I waited for a table and enjoyed the beer and the company. The staff are polite friendly and always willing to accommodate requests including cocktails and changing the channels over for the football.

Really enjoyed the Sunday lunch menu this weekend, food was good and well cooked and very reasonable price, staff very friendly and attentive, even helped do a few birthday surprises for my mum; nothing too much trouble. Was able to bring the dog round after to join us. Rear garden looking much better, just needs a bit of colour! Really done a good job renovating, lovely pub.
