The food here is fine, but I think the value for money could do with addressing.

Great food and big portions at great prices a long side friendly helpfull staff what more could You want.

No WiFi so only four stars. An excellent egg and bacon bap and a delicious coffee though.

Fancied a change so drove short distance to The Old Mill. This is how to satisfy customers with breakfast that was simply delicious. Everything freshly prepared, so tasty and hot. We had different meals. Just look at the photos. You will be impressed, surprised and delighted here. We will be back soon!

This cafe has the best breakfast in town! It's honest food. We love going there for breakfast. Great value for money, parking, friendly owners and super quick service.

Very nice and friendly place. I had a mocha, and it was very good. Next time, I will try the food for sure! There is plenty of space, even bigger families can go they will put the tables together to make it bigger for you. There is a garden where you can go out, not sure if it's open all the time, though. There are toilet and sink to wash your hands, it was clean and tidy. Cash or card payment(£5 above).

Got a bacon and sausage in a roll, food was huge and reasonably priced. Didn’t sit in the garden but sat out front and the atmosphere was pretty good!

Have loved locally for 20 years and have NEVER had a bad brunch , breakfast or coffee at the old mill. They are very friendly ,accommodating and patient. The quality of the ingredients used in all their dishes is good and the portions are decent.

Only bought a takeaway coffee. Good service. Prices similar to other cafes in the area. Fantastic place. Has outdoor seating front and back. An army of staff. Clean and tidy. They take bookings as they get so busy. It's a shame they close at 3.00pm.

As a long standing customer who orders on just eat and in person i had a meeting recently unfortunately nobody whated food so only tea and coffee i would have always rated 5 star but a nasty comment of youve been here for 2 hrs and spent £15 no queue fo tables so in future instead of supporting local businesses ill go corporate i can sit in starbucks and costa without the comments also no issues the week before when we had a 30 min meeting and spent 30 plus £ very disappointing as have always found it to be a very welcoming and nice place but wont be holding any future meetings here food is 5star service 5 star pointless comments no star

Ordered a breakfast baguette today, I thought it was a little expensive at first, but after seeing the size of it and tasting the quality of the ingredients used, it wasn't expensive at all. I was really impressed and will definitely be back! The staff were really friendly and the food came out really quickly, even though we all ordered at the same time! Well done guys! Keep it up! 😁

Stopped here for lunch after an appointment nearby. Free (limited) parking, plentiful portion sizes at a great price, and quick friendly service.

Excellent, honest, cafe. Food was great, service good and prices cheap. Explains why we got the last available table in there at 12.15.

Not the biggest cafe probably get about 20 people inside and about 8 outside, very clean, and condiments clean and tidy .

Lovely food, well-cooked, nicely presented. The best all-day breakfast we've had in a while. Unfortunately we can't return because the toilet is too small for a person with a wheeled walking aid, or someone who needs assistance. Hence only four stars

Visited again 6th November, absolutely fantastic breakfast, food is amazing quality, super service with a fab team of staff, all so friendly. And the place is spotlessly clean. In my previous review I said little pricey, but I completely take that back, worth every penny! Especially the quality of food compared to many other places we have visited. This place takes full pride in theor buissness, no doubt about that. 100% worth a visit. Added more recent pics below along with the ones we previously took. If you have not visited, you must! *previous review* BEST BREAKFAST EVER! We sesrched for a place to go for breakfast and my hubby really fancied bubble and squeak, this came up and reviews were great so thought we would try it. Was honestly delicious! Fresh, piping hot, quick service, the sausages were amazing, little pricier than what we normally pay but you get what you pay for. Hubby had their big breakfast special which of course came with eggs on top of the bubble he so fancied for £7.20 and i had the brunch for £6 worth every penny, we will continue to come back here and be regulars. Its a firm favourite :)

Food is excellent, staff very friendly. Had big breakfast, bubble and squeak could have better and portion size slightly smaller than I was expecting but overall pleasant visit.

A lovely little cafe and does such a good breakfast. Used to live just up the road but moved a bit further away and still come out of our way frequently to eat here as nowhere else comes close. Staff always super friendly and welcoming too!

Really good wide menu prepared quickly but vert well. Great ideal for a breakfast or lunch

Decent cheese and ham toasties, chips and mug of tea. All served quickly by friendly staff. Others in our visit had pancakes... again these were tasty. Plenty of seating inside and out, card and cash payments accepted, but parking can be difficult.

Quite a varied menu but I just had a simple scrambled egg with a side of halloumi, both of which were well cooked. I've never had such hot scrambled egg which was great. Only negative is that it would have stayed hot had the plates been warned up. Latte was good too. Second visit: one Full English and a plate of extras: toast, beans, hash browns and poached egg with cappuccino and orange juice. Cooked well and fast service. The accoustics aren't great, very noisy today with only two other tables taken. (I recommend putting pads on the bottom of the chairs.) I hadn't noticed before but there's a little courtyard with four tables.

I am carer in the local area and this is the place I come most mornings on my break. Quick service, friendly faces. I'm greeted happily every time I walk through the door. If I haven't been in, the girls will ask after me when my colleagues are there. Which is lovely. I've asked for a loyalty card because I'm in there so often. Unfortunately for me, they don't do them 🤣

My experiences here have always been good. Food has always been of good quality and well presented. Cafe is clean and well maintained. The only small gripe I have is been charged a substantial amount extra for a “large” tea when all they do is add more water. This does not sit right with me at all.

Found this place on my travels, very good breakfast, good value too.

We often grab a year and coffee from here when out walking with the dog. Have not eaten here, but pre Covid19 the food always looked great and was always busy with Trades guys and on a Saturday morning with families. Prices are pretty favourable too. Enjoy!!

A good food stop. Friendly staff, adjacent parking and great value for money. A full fried breakfast will keep you going all day long and probably half of the next!!!!! Highly recommend for the hungry, smaller meals are available too.

Been a semi-regular here for about 7 or so months. I have never had an English breakfast as good as this in my entire life. I have been to many different hotels and pubs etc. But this is too notch for me. Sausages excellent quality, perfectly cooked, bacon is gorgeous and not too salty, eggs are usually just right, but occasionally a little too done in the yolk, bubble is the only bubble ive ever liked, the mushrooms beautiful, and the beans are beans. I always get the ultimate breakfast and a cappuccino, and every time it has been a delightful experience with friendly staff, and very quick service. Keep up the good work guys :)
