Went for Steak night, the deal they have is great value for money, the food was worth more than what we paid. We were greeted by a wonderful member of staff and made to feel like we were rockstars. Highly recommend.

Lovely stay at this 17th century building. Fantastic food and friendly informative staff. Was very well looked after. If you're after oldie worldy this is perfect. Original open fireplaces, hidden tunnels, ghosts (although didn't see any). Will be returning with my bicycle next time to explore the many cycle routes

We chose this restaurant for Christmas dinner because of its location, but it turned out to be a complete fiasco. The food was cold and of poor quality, the service was incredibly slow, and we had different servers attending to us without any consistency?? For the price we paid, the service was unacceptable. While the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, it wasn't enough to salvage our experience. I don’t recommend this place

My daughter, two friends and I, stayed for two nights to visit the Christmas markets in Bristol and Bath. The hotel is charming and very clean. I had a burger on the first night which was great. The breakfasts were lovely. This is a family owned and run small hotel. The very smiley manager and his staff were exceptionally friendly and polite. We had especially lovely chats with the housekeeper and our waitress, Grace. I recommend The Old Manor House Highly!

Excellent food. I had the sole and it was beautifully cooked. The waiting staff were very attentive. Also it was not over the top on price. Would recommend.

Considering there were only four other occupied tables, the service was incredibly slow. We’re sure it was the waitress’s first night as she didn’t have a clue what she was doing! Maybe it would be a good idea to train your staff on the drinks menu, so that they know there are at least 2 different kinds of Sauvignon blanc on the list and not keep coming back to the table to ask which one we wanted, or which lager we wanted! Food was average when it eventually arrived. I won’t be returning

We came in mid week for a meal, we hadn't booked but were found a table in the lovely restaurant. I didn't have a starter, but my other half had the soup and it smelt gorgeous and she said it was. I had the steak and stilton pie and it was beautiful. She had the prawn pasta and again it looked lovely. I had a bottle of merlot and she had a sauvignon blanc and then we shared a cheese board, I had the port that came with it. Overall a beautiful meal in gorgeous surroundings.

Steak night is well worth going to - for value for money but Bar prices for Beer and Wines are too expensive - best to drink elsewhere !

Unfortunately on this occasion our Sunday lunch was not up to expectation. We waited a very long time to receive our food. We were beginning to worry about our cars parked in the 2 hour stay car park and because of the delay all of us had to move our cars! No one had a starter and the main meals were ok, especially so the short rib. Unfortunately the fish and chips was not good. The deserts definitely let the Old Manor House down. They were not good quality, especially for the price being charged (£7.50). The Brownies were very bitter, the ice cream was watery and had no taste. The crème brûlée had a strange consistency and the crumble which was apple, cider and ginger was so hard it was almost inedible. We didn’t complain about any of the above. The hotel was very busy and no-one came to ask us if everything was ok.. We have always enjoyed a lovely meal here in the past but sadly not good this time.

The Old Manor is an excellent little gem in Keynsham, honestly serving the best Sunday Roast around. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, food cooked to perfection and the short rib is to die for. Their menu caters for everyone and is updated regularly with seasonal produce, burgers are excellent and steak night, very well priced at £35 for two and a bottle of wine, but also your steak is always cooked to perfection with the best triple cooked chips I've ever had. Oh, and the garden is beautiful for a pint in the sun...!

Visited the old manor on Thurs 23rd march (steak night). We had 2 very nice rump steaks beautifully cooked (medium), chips and garnish were just as good. Deserts (sticky toffee pud & apple and stem ginger crumble) were delightful, all in all good food and good value. Will be back😊

We visited the old Manor House this evening for steak night and we were not disappointed! Perfectly cooked delicious steak (which I enjoy rare) and the chips were divine - crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. We arrived a little early and enjoyed a drink at the bar, chatting to the staff who are really lovely and attended to us perfectly before and throughout our meal. The fire was lit and the atmosphere was cosy and welcoming on a cold January evening - I would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back again!

We came here (4 adults and 4 children one being Coeliac and was taken care of with ease) on Sunday just gone (22/01) and thought I would share my experience here. I've eaten here before on a steak night and I knew I wouldn't be disappointed by the Sunday roast! It's exactly how you want it to be, and in my eyes, exactly how a roast should be served. Perfectly crisp, flavoursome roast potatoes, moist meat, plenty of it, a great selection of tasty vegetables, homemade Yorkshire pudding my Yorkshire mother would be proud of, stuffing that is tasty, and compliments to the dish well, all topped off with a dash of homemade gravy. (With an extra jug of it on the side!) You can tell that each element of the roast had been cooked with care and attention as each element had its own flavour enhanced. The staff can't do more for you, and are helpful and professional at all times. My youngest child opted for sausage & chips instead of a roast and she enjoyed hers, and after asking her if her dinner was nice, she said "Best chips ever!" The beer was nice, the atmosphere was great, and a lovely toasty warm fire on in the bar area & ballroom which made all the difference. If you're thinking of trying this place for food, you won't be disappointed!

Having visited the Manor House most years for Christmas dinner with friends I thought it would be lovely to take different friends for sunday lunch as I have praised the food every time. What a big DISAPPOINTMENT. The food was really not good, one potatoes cut in half, burnt Yorkshire pudding and horrendous cauliflower cheese. I like aldenty but this was hard with no sauce.. PLEASE do proper veg and not substitute with carrot and parsnip curls. Coffee was cold. When you spend £45 per person it is sole destroying when the food is bad. Please take note of this as the food is letting you down. Lovely surroundings and serving and bar staff could not do enough. I would have complained but I am not someone that likes to cause a scene.

Visited the Manor House keynsham for a Sunday roast, staff very friendly, helpful, and professional and a lovely place but what a shame the dinner was a disappointment, pork very fatty and tough to cut, two small roast potatoes, two very small slices of meat, cauliflower cheese tasteless just hard cauliflower, desserts small and too posh (just keep it simple), it’s very expensive for what we had.

When we arrived we were welcomed by the owner who was lovely and very helpful -- she told us all about the Hub where we could get breakfast, and the bus which would take us into town (very simple route), and even told us about a free walking tour that runs every day at 10:30 and 14:00. We stayed in a room with an external bathroom which was very clean and tidy. The bedroom was really cosy (lots of pillows, and a choice of either a thick or thin duvet). The room also included a kettle, tea and coffee, and biscuits. Even though the hotel was on the main road, we couldn't hear the traffic at night. 5/5 -- would recommend, and will be back in the future. ∆∆ This was written by my girlfriend Summary: 1 bus to city (very easy -- less than 20 mins). Little community cafe 5mins walk -- fry up was gooood Room was nice , kettle , lots of pillows and two sets of quilts Parking around back good 👍 Also very close to prior park (national trust)

Have had this wonderful pub on my to visit list for years and finally I made it there yesterday. It's a small place with lots of character which was worth a visit. There was a good selection of ale to choose from. I opted for the Bass which was poured directly from the barrel and is one of the best pints of said ale I have sampled for a long, long time. The bar person was a top guy, very chatty and pleasant. Definitely worth a visit. I for one will be returning.

I was in Bath for a work trip and tried this place because it had good google reviews - I wasn’t disappointed, food was outstanding and service excellent. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it. I can recommend the Lamb Bon Bon’s and beef fillet.

The pub is only open Fri and Sat, that was fine , the annexe was open but in my room, the TV had no reception, there was no hot water to shower in the morning and there had been an issue with no hot food the night before. Everyone was friendly and it served a purpose.
