We didn't play golf, but did pop in to get a few drinks from their bar and to sit on their benches by the gold course. Bar was quiet, and the staff were pleasant.

Dreadful service, below average food, but nice outdoor seating looking at the golf course and sand dunes. Neighbouring tables were complaining as well. Take a tip from us, if you want a coffee then ask for a filter coffee....it's too long a story to explain here!

This is a new location to TripAdvisor but I remembered seeing it on a previous visit to the town. They offer typical British hot snacks like bacon rolls. I had a baguette filled with roast pork and apple sauce with chips on the side. Excellent. The bar sells a range of drinks but sadly no real ale. You can sit inside but if the weather permits, I would recommend crossing the road to the outdoor tables, watching the golfers and taking in the sea air. When you order, you are given a buzzer which tells you when your order is ready.

, £25 for large glasses of wine Sauvignon Blanc. When asked said was £10 a glass of wine ? Really and not New Zealand wine either ! Do not think this is normal pub prices and Certainly not whetherspoons prices . In general Berwick on Tweed and a fabulous amount of well priced pubs certainly fair prices , give this a massive miss

Stayed in a nearby cottage and stopped off at the Oak Inn for a bar meal on our first evening. Everyone was very friendly, there was a nice atmosphere and the food was tasty and well priced.

I only used the parking lot to sleep. The payment machine gave problems.
