We didn't play golf, but did pop in to get a few drinks from their bar and to sit on their benches by the gold course. Bar was quiet, and the staff were pleasant.

Dreadful service, below average food, but nice outdoor seating looking at the golf course and sand dunes. Neighbouring tables were complaining as well. Take a tip from us, if you want a coffee then ask for a filter coffee....it's too long a story to explain here!

This is a new location to TripAdvisor but I remembered seeing it on a previous visit to the town. They offer typical British hot snacks like bacon rolls. I had a baguette filled with roast pork and apple sauce with chips on the side. Excellent. The bar sells a range of drinks but sadly no real ale. You can sit inside but if the weather permits, I would recommend crossing the road to the outdoor tables, watching the golfers and taking in the sea air. When you order, you are given a buzzer which tells you when your order is ready.

Golden Square
I enjoyed a fabulous vegetarian breakfast here. At last, somewhere who does not think that nasty tasting meat substitutes on a plate qualifies as a quality breakfast. There is one sausage, but it is the best I have had in a very long time. This review is not complete without mentioning the lovely staff. Jordan in the front of house, and Callum in the kitchen. I hope I have Jordan's name right, the woman with the green hair should easily identify this sassy lady.

21 Main StreetNever in my life have I encountered someone as ill-mannered and discourteous in customer service as the blonde woman we crossed paths with whilst stopping here. Attitudes like that are something that will guarantee a customer never to return. Hopefully she can cheer up with the onset of the festive season and provide a more pleasant experience for future visitors.

Blagdon LaneMillie was our hostess, and she couldn’t have been any kinder! She anticipated our every need before we even knew we what we needed!!! So helpful and attentive! The food was delicious and the extra gravy came without a hitch! Would 100% recommend the Snowy Owl and Mollie!!
