Amazing pub great atmosphere the staff were excellent happy to help me with my order and friendly to me and my friends I was served by Rachel and Liam they were fantastic

Had a lovely burger while watching super Sunday Gail and Lana were a delight on the bar lovely service would definitely recommend

I enjoyed visiting the Old Bank for a couple of drinks while visiting Sutton. This pub is next to the railway station, so ideally placed

I come in with a couple of friends for the football on Saturday, there was a young girl who was working in afternoon and an older lady. Both of them very miserable and very rude, the young guy Liam was really good

Excellent pub Amazing atmosphere over the bank holiday weekend with karaoke on very entertaining Very good prices staff where working extremely hard very smiley and attentive Had a nice game of darts as well which was very good loving the interactive score board Very comfortable Will definitely be back

Had a great time listening to the karaoke on Sunday night, it was really fun. Nicola was excellent as well definitely coming back

Absolutely amazing, it’s safe, clean brilliant atmosphere, very happy with the service Gail the manager and Liam are absolutely amazing very friendly and happy, food looks amazing especially the burgers and the small plates, I love the fact that they have different events on such as live bands and karaoke I am very interested in beat the boss on their Thursday darts night will have to pop in for that. But overall I think it’s one of the best pubs in Sutton and I will definitely be returning

Dropped in for a couple. Not been for many many years. Decidedly average, not helped by staff that seemed incapable of smiling.

Amazing staff very welcoming,helpful and friendly. I was there to watch the rugby yesterday very good atmosphere and a very tidy place would definitely recommend coming here for any sports and I will be coming back very soon

A horrible pub. The landlady is rude and ignores everyone but the locals until the last possible minute. "Thank you" and smiles seem to be unknown concepts to the staff and the atmosphere is like a dentist's waiting room. It's also expensive, poor value for money and full of blaring sports screens. Avoid at all costs!

Maybe being unfair because we only called in for an impromptu drink on the way home and it was very quiet , although it was a Thursday. Just reopened after a refurb but think I preferred it the way it was. Had a glass of sauvignon blanc but was very sweet which I wasn't keen on. Can't comment on food because we had already eaten at another place. Sorry Old Bank , might try it again in the future.

Popped in for a couple of drinks on a Saturday night and they had a very good live band on . Really enjoyed my time here x

I went here for my 60th and had a brilliant time with family and friends couldn’t have had a better night and I’d do it again tomorrow

Met two old friends for lunch only my third time in this pub. Nice clean pub, efficient and friendly staff. My food, full English breakfast was very nice but can't comment on my friends meals, though they didn't complain. Would be happy to visit again when in the area.

Excellent service, staff are very helpful and attentive , food is absolutely delicious love the new food menu such as the cheesy Doritos, loads of tv’s with sound when big football games are on so you never miss any of the action, can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu.

The pubs conveniently located when visiting Sutton for the football, been three times in the last 3 years with The Bantams. Always thought that the staff and locals were not very welcoming, a couple of the older female staff in particular. Yesterday one barman (glasses, spots) was out and out rude, looking physically upset and swearing to himself when i ordered 5 pints!

How amazing were Kaye and Liam today while the Chelsea match was on . Both running around on there own doing drinks and food orders keeping us all happy 😃 well done the both of you xx

Terrible and arrogant service from bar lady this weekend. Her attitude put our family completely off and for some reason my previous review is not showing! Pity as I was told it’s a nice place but the elderly blonde lady was sooooo rude, it put me off

I came to the pub I've seen very nice atmosphere, good service and very delicious stake rump I ordered, cooked as I like

I was very satisfied especially with the food one of the chefs I spoke with I think his name is JAZZ, he has golden hands he made my day.

Woo think it will be my first and last visit -12.20 for a double gin and tonic!!! nearly fell off my chair. I came yesterday lunchtime with a friend (6th September around 12pm) not sure of the person who served us, she was a young blond girl. We both purchased a double rhubarb and ginger gin with plain tonic. ***Although pleasing to hear this was an error it would seem you were unwilling to honor this after trying to claim the refund. Having phoned first to see if it was OK to call in, was rudly told that no it wasn't an error and that a double gin is £10.20 and a tonic was £2 added to which it appeared you were irritated at my review before speaking to you first. Therfore, might I suggest, if your prices are correct that you don't lie and say its an error and offer a refund only to then revoke this and quaff at my opinion of your prices. I stand by my review and your prices for a local pub are absolutely EXTORTIONATE**** good day

I would not recommend this pub to anyone. We didn't get what we ordered. It took an exceptionally long time to arrive although it was during a quiet time. We didn't get what we ordered and what we did get was overcooked, dry and inedible

The old bank is a lovely pub, it was the first time I have come here. The staff are friendly and enjoy a good laugh with the customers which is nice to see. A big thank you to Nicola

i came with a friend by 7pm to spend time , have some drinks and food we were amazed by the quality of the food we had steaks medium rare it was done how we were expected , well to the team and the chef

Flies everywhere. Staff unfriendly and does not know the menu. Does not honour the cocktail special. Actually, staff does not know how to make cocktails. Half of food on menu unavailable. Buns for burgers stale. Poor customer service. They make you feel unwelcome.

Firstly, you don't feel welcome when you enter, as if they don't want customers. I asked for the cocktail special and staff member said they don't have cocktails. Later she said she can give me a "sex on the beach". Isn't that a cocktail?? I took it, but she did not give me the special even though its part of the special. Then they did not have half of what is on the menu. Also, they could not give us the mushroom sauce that's on the menu. Buns of burgers were stale and chips burnt. This was a terrible experience. I do not recommend this place or if you go, insist on special if it states special. This is really bad. Staff needs customer service training and also they don't know the menu at all!

I popped into the old bank for a few drinks and something to eat the staff were excellent and the food was delicious, will definitely be back.

It is a friendly place to come to...after a heavy work day. Old Bank remains HOME... Jolly and a nice place to unwind.

Today I came to this institution in a good mood. A cute girl met me at the bar and it was very nice to talk to her. When I decided to order food, I was served by another waitress, she was displeased and showed her bad mood with all her expressions, but the worst thing that happened was that she almost cheated me for £20 and when I came to check everything again, she didn't again added £1. The situation is terrible, I will never come here again and I will not recommend it to anyone.

Came to the old bank for the 1st time and will unfortunately not be returning. The manager Gail is rude and unreasonable and any communication with her is met with barks and rudeness. The food is so so. "A warm welcome" was definitely not received 👎

Staff need to get some customer service skills and a smile! Gail was rude throughout the whole time we were there and seemed to have no desire to help when approached with the many issues we encountered in the very short time we were there. After finishing our very below par food we left as there was no reason to stay where we didn't feel welcome. Very disappointed and will not be visiting again.

Excellent town centre pub, great spot to go for after work drinks. Lots of space inside and great selection of drinks. Also has a nice garden to the rear. Often has live sports on too.

Great atmosphere, lovely staff and always get service with a smile! Staff also love to have a joke which is nice. Food is well priced and the spicy wings are amazing! Good ales and draught lagers/ciders.

I was made welcome on my first visit like I was a local, the staff are chatty and engaging, and always say good dye. There is a selection of real ales, which are always fresh. The food is chain food but it is good and well priced as is the beer. Ales are on special Tuesdays. If you are a sports fan, the are big screen TVs showing the big showings..

I’ve never been one to write reviews but this place more than deserves them. I come here and have a couple a drinks a week with friends who I’ve made through out the years. The bar staff are amazing and their work ethic is amazing....

I absolutely love the bar staff here the team are amazing and are massively hard working the weekends are always a good time but i personally like to come in for the poker it's a nice bunch and always good fun. Can't fault this pub...

Really poor experience. Booked a table and told we couldn't sit there with a child. Went to order food on the app and told not to. Staff were all quite rude and abrupt. Very disappointed.

This is my local and I’d never change it. The staff are great with good banter I’ve never had a bad experience here and don’t think I ever will. The beer is affordable and always taste fresh.

Ordered a wing bucket and it took an hour. Not sure what the chef was doing. And they were not messing about when they said HOT wings!

Popped into my local on my birthday and reclaimed my free birthday drinks which was very nice and also got greeted with a little birthday cake from the land lady Gail which was very thoughtful and a big surprise. Well done to all the staff...
