We have never been here before but tried it today for lunch and I'm really glad we did. The lady owner was great at her job , it suited her down to the ground , welcoming and friendly , just lovely. My sister had the roast beef dinner , huge portion and freshly cooked, my brother in law had the medium all day breakfast and I had the small , all were spot on , no faults at all. Would not hesitate to recommend and next time we are in kings lynn we will be back.

The food was delicious. It's the only place in King's Lynn I would say that serves a proper English Brew. Despite this I would never come again, I was put off by the waitress' constant lingering and the time it to place an order was appauling.

Wanted a quiet place to eat for dinner time while out shopping, found this place and what a surprise. First impression was mmmmm not what we’re used too but Really friendly staff , quick service. Ordered cottage pie with veg and my partner ham egg and chips it turned up and omg they definitely not heard of potion control. A proper hearty plate full really tasty and steaming hot too, if I’m on holiday again and need feeding when I’m shopping in kings lynn this would be my go too place

3 times i have been here recently for breakfast. the meal has been very satisfactory on each occasion. however i have been very disappointed with the pot of tea that comes with it. apart from being very small as in getting a full very small cup out of it. it has on every occasion been luke warm. don,t know whether they boil a kettle or have some other method but been very disappointed. i know profit is a must but a teabag in a bigger and warmer pot would go a long way i think

Popped in today with my mum and sister for a quick lunch before mums optician appointment. Mum had the oap pork roast dinner and cuppa which arrived piping hot with fresh veg. Myself and sister had a jacket potato one with tuna and one with beans side salad both of which where well presented and very good value for money. Decent cup coffee too. Will definatly return for a roast next time.

The front door was being held together by sticky film as it clearly had had and accident. It turned out that the guy in ripped jeans smoking by outside was the chef. There is no counter, and my order was taken by the waitress shouting across the room. While my food was being cooked, I learned a lot about the sale and packaging of bacon from the conversation in the kitchen, but soon there were a few ladies with babies to provide the entertainment instead, while I felt a bit like I was intruding on a private function. When the food arrived, it was good enough and the price was fair and the portion was generous. If you are expecting a refined tearoom with dainty sandwiches, this might not be the best choice, but if you go more in expectation of a cheap and cheerful transport caff, this place is fine. Forewarned is forearmed, and next time I feel like a hearty breakfast I might give it another go.

Called here yesterday for lunch. The staff were pleasant and efficient. I had the liver and bacon. This was really lovely with vegetables and lashing os lovely tasty gravy. A really enjoyable meal. My wife had the cod and she to enjoyed that. The cost was very reasonable and great value for money. The downside, the place needs a real upgrade in decoration and furniture. But apart from that, okay for lunch.

We stopped for lunch on a day trip and had really good sandwiches served by a very nice young lady. The filling was so much it could not be contained in my baguette or my wife's sandwich. Thank you.

I was in Kings Lynn for a few day's and saw this place. I would'nt actually call it a tea room. I ordered a jacket potato with cheese which was very filling. While waiting I had to take a tissue out of my bag to clean the table as it was quite messy. As I was wiping it the assistant came with my tea. She could see what I was doing but put my tea down and left. No suggestion of ' I will get a cloth and clean the table for you'. The staff were only wearing sandle's, which I would have thought was a health& safety problem. While I did enjoy my meal I did'nt enjoy the visit.

Eran extremadamente atento y servicial.

Following my previous experience of the Norfolk Tea Rooms before Christmas, I was in King's Lynn shopping with my husband yesterday and led him to the Tea Rooms for lunch. We both had the roast, which was hot, tasty and filling with two teas. The scale of the menu is amazing - there is a menu that appears to be the same every day, with specials each day in addition. Our roasts went down very well with lots of lovely vegetables cooked just right. The service was quick and courteous and the range of desserts very tempting, however we could not manage one yesterday. But I am sure we will be back again, as the place is a little gem serving homely, good value food. Recommended.

Looking for a quick lunch to have before my Christmas shopping I chanced upon the Norfolk Tea Room. This is a place I will definitely go back to. On going in I thought that the fact I was on my own and about to occupy a table for four might prove to be unpopular - but no, I was welcomed and sat down and my order taken quickly. I had a large bowl of soup, piping hot and tasty and some lovely fresh bread, washed down with a pot of tea. Sitting in the corner I could see that this was a very popular place to eat, and no wonder - there is so much to choose from and all excellent value for money. The waiting staff were friendly and efficient, rushed off their feet but with a friendly word for everybody and good rapport. Everybody was munching away and obviously enjoying their food with no complaints to be heard at all. Next time I will go with my husband, he will like it too and we will sample some of the home made food on offer.

Small and a bit dated looking from the outside but don't be put off. Inside the welcome is warm, friendly and genuine. Nothing is too much trouble. Despite being very busy the staff could not have been more helpful and cheerful. The food was excellent. Don't expect haute cuisine but if you like good, well cooked, tasty home made food this place is for you. A roast, a dessert and a pot of tea for just over £6 cannot be bad, it was actually very very good. The only problem is finding a vacant table.

Ate at the Tea Rooms although I would say Tea Rooms is bit of a misnomer more of a cafe style diner.Furnished a bit basic, but this is compensated by the value for money factor.Had chiii con carni, most enjoyable Pleasant service by very pleasnt and busy lady.

Great looking venue but the worst meal I’ve had in a long time went with family I think if I was on our own would have left meal and gone I had fish and chips thought would be nice it was over cooked on top could not even eat the batter one mouthful of peas the underside of the fish was undercooked my wife had burger the bread roll looked like a cheap roll from lidle falling apart absolutely no garnish a wimpy would look better plonked down with no finesse went on to pudding thought I would go for the poached pear got about six thin slices of pear on some chocolate mousse good fifty pence worth of pudding for eight pound I thought in fairness wife’s sticky toffee pudding was nice.up half the night with bad stomach just to top off a bad night

We came home with a great selection of apples and pears from the orchard, some we had not heard of before, they are all the same price by weight so you just make your own selection into a bag. We will be batch-baking apple-crumble for the freezer. They also have a nice butchery selection and local cheese amongst other edible. Not so keen about Gurneys the fresh fish shop as they didn't seem to want the custom they shut up early. The Fish and chip shop had a gluten problem which I will review separately.
