The New Inn in Bradford

Great pub, very welcoming with a large winter warming open fire, not to mention the large selection of real ales on offer. Well worth a visit.

Nice local pub, friendly staff and decent prices on drinks. Only complaint I have is personally there’s no dark fruits on draught, but it’s minor. Food is really good and definitely well cooked, Lynne definitely knows how to work her magic. John and Lauren are great hosts, although John’s laugh is like a hyena from the lion king haha.

John the owner, is totally awsome but I still probably will not get a free drink despite this glowing raise. Still a traditional pub without the modern gimics. Just good beer and a friendly welcome.

Lovely little pub. Mine hosts are very friendly. Sunday lunch is lovely and plenty of it. Home made pies. I would recommend it.

Not been in since lockdown, but popped in today same old place, with more seats. Was quiet with it been a work day.

Nice pub with roaring fire 😁 recently went for the Sunday roast. It was average I was expecting more as everyone I know says it was amazing....it was just ok. I didn't like the cats roaming around and under your feet. A bit off putting probably won't revisit for food.

Good old fashioned pub, great atmosphere

My local pub. Always friendly, always great beer. Several years later the standard has remained. Updated a while later. Still lovely.

Monday 29th May 2023 We visited this really good local pub The large interior of this pub was very comfortable The bar mam today was pleasant and really helpful, and the range of hand pumped great valued well looked after ales This is one of the best 2 real ale pubs in Thornyon

Always a warm welcome. Friendly staff. And to top that off, a great selection of beers, log fire and a great Sunday Roast.

Horrible place if your not related - my mum's 70+ was saying excuse me to her children to get past to which Lauren the landlady said stick your leg out and proceeded to give rude comments throughout our visit horrible place with rude landlady AVOID AVOID AVOID

Drove past this place loads of times and finally decided to call in, so glad we did. Friendly barman, great pint and a roaring fire. Will be going back to try the Sunday lunch!

Good pub but need to sort out the people who sit by the bar shouting F$$$ and C$$$ every 5th word. We were enjoying a nice quiet drink until they turned up. After 10 minutes of constant swearing we left because the atmosphere was ruined. I was going to go back with my kids after the Christmas tree festival at St James. I won't bother.... This is probably the 4th or 4th time this has happened.

Decent selection of beers. But a bit grotty. Needs a good tidy up.

Nice place, 6 hand pumps on most days.

Watched the world cup semi final here and although the results were disappointing the atmosphere was amazing throughout.

Went here first time out for a drink,the service was really good,they started getting busier has the afternoon went on but they did really well & there was never too long to wait.Well done guys

The most amazing Sunday lunch, huge Yorkshire pudding, great service and fabulous atmosphere the whole family were catered for.

It isn't too big and noisy, courteous staff and the New Inn retains the character of a traditional public house.

Excellent pub with a range of good cask ales all at very reasonable prices. Very pleasant landlord & staff. Good quality pork pies and oodles of garden & car parking space.

Can't say enough about this place, fantastic atmosphere, whether you're looking for a big night out on a weekend. A quiet pint in a decent beer garden or a family meal next to an open fire. This place caters for all. Great for parking, friendly staff, excellent food and drink. Thanks guys!

Brilliant pub, staff, crowd, beers v and beautiful stove

Honestly cannot fault the place. Food was 10/10, service was 10/10, cracking landlord, great staff, open fire. The only down side was the lack of a bed to sleep on following the meal, we were so stuffed that we could barely move. The menu wasn't the biggest, however the items listed are cooked to perfection, I'd rather visit a place with 2 items that are spectacular, than a place with 100+ items that come out rushed and lackluster. If I'm ever in the area in the future - I'll be making a detour to the New Inn without a doubt.

Literqlly just been 5 mins ago. Good atmosphere, reasonable prices for the drink. Just a shame the lady behind the bar was really rude and confrontational. I asked to try a tiny bit of the strawberry blond and she rolled her eyes back. And was very defensive. Shame as it really spoiled an otherwise very nice pub.

Roadside pub with a large car park at the side. The bar staff were welcoming and friendly. A clean and comfortable lounge area full of character, but best of all was the live music. We had a great evening and will return - thank you everyone at the New Inn.

Friendly pub with an excellent range of hand pulled beers, with guest beers that change regularly, including a dark beer (stout or porter).

Nice spacious old school pub with a fireplace run by a friendly couple, nice, friendly and talkative bar tender ( older man), very good selection of alcohol, especially real ales. They're changing them very often so if you're are into real ales, this the place for you. Live music and major sport events on the big screen.

Had a group on they were amazing very busy but had 4 staff on 2 collecting glasses unable to serve and 2 serving extremely long time to get served so kept busy a few a time well done bar staff

New Inn is a great place to have a beer and relax.

Disappointing, advertises a full menu seven days a week, but not on a Monday or Tuesday and possibly limited food on a Thursday. So why advertise.....

Great evening with a good range of drinks/ beers. Friendly staff and owners who worked very hard to serve everyone with a smile. Always worth a night out when they have a live band on and last night was no exception with a local rock band DNA. The place was rocking.

Perfect local pub for a pint or 5. Dont expect a ceasar salad or a cheesecake.

Went in the pub for a team drink. Before 8 of us bought a drink a friend ordered a water as we had just been playing netball. They then tried to charge us £1.20 for a glass of tap water. Confused we obviously questioned it and the manager was rude and full of himself. Even though it is stated in the law if you sell alcohol you are not allowed to refuse free tap water. When my friend said she had no cash he then said she could pay by card with a 50p charge. Paying 1.70 for a glass of tap water. The manager was a joke and lost £20 for the sake of 1 glass of water. Avoid unless you like the company of morons.

Try the vegan falafel burger. It's got a good kick to it. Goes great with a few beers. Cosy open fire. Excellent back bar.

Always Have a decent selection of real ales, usually about 6 on I think? and keep at least one pump for guest dark, porter,stout which many of our friends enjoy. Good value ales and also do food too, but yet to sample a dish though friends have and no complaints at all traditional food at right price.

Went to the new in for a meeting. Landlord was excellent. Put us in an area where we wouldn't be disturbed and we wouldn't disturb the customers.

Superb Pub and lovely people who run it. We played against the Bradford Fans Team and they were so kind and welcoming. Really great experience, good family feel to it and would love it to be my local! (If I didn't live 150 miles away!). All the best, Sam
