Very busy but enjoyed the sun out at the picnic tables. Pot pies were excellent and nice nice change from making our meals on the boat. Great service.

Superb pub stopover in a campervan. Martin is a lovely landlord. Lovely log fire. This is our 2nd visit and will not be the last. Dog friendly, overlooking the canal, great spot.

We called in for a meal on our narrow boat holiday. The welcome was amazing and the food was great. Very welcome after being out in the cold. We liked it so much we called in again for Sunday lunch on the way back!! Dogs welcome.

I went with two Friends for a Luch time meal, I had the Steak & Guinness pies it was a good slice, pleanty of meat, I swopped the Mash for Chips which was not problem, also peas carrots & Gravy were included. It was an excellent meal and we all enjoyed it

On arrival we were met by Martin who after only a few minutes we felt we had a friend for life,He couldn't do enough for us.The food was of a high standard and piping hot Take time to look at the specials board for some interesting meals.As we were on a narrow boat and looking for some where to stop on are way back Martin offered to open the pub just for are party If we are ever in the area again we will always call in the Narrow boat inn and strongly advise you do the same

We met family here who were on holiday on a narrow boat. We had a very warm welcome. The selection on the menu was varied and enjoyed very much. Excellent venue alongside the canal. We have always enjoyed coming here. Thoroughly recommend.

Tonight Tim brought us the Pork special in breadcrumbs with veg, a bacon and mushroom risotto ,bolognaise and piquant prawn starters with a delicious creamy rice pudding for afters. All were hot and delicious. What a treat to have a home delivery and be able to enjoy food without the washing up.Highly recommended if you live in or near Ludlow.Thanks to Chef Nick,the lovely Deborah and of course, Tim.

8 Maypole CourtCalled in today for a nice lunch, but very dark and uninviting, could it be closed ? Once we were inside we were informed that only coffee was available, no food whatsoever. Having looked at Facebook reviews this place looked great but it turned out to be a waste of a journey so we spent our money elsewhere and will not try again. Very disappointing.

35 Church StreetWe were in Oswestry for a short break. It's a lovely town. We went into the old coffee pot for a coffee and cake in the morning when we got there. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place itself is 1940s styled and has a lot of memorabilia and themed background music. The cakes were homemade and really good, I had a salted caramel cake and the wife had a black forest gateau style cake. Our hotel turned out to be accommodation only and we went back for breakfast the following morning. I had a full English, and the wife had porridge and toast. The food was brilliant, cooked to order and nice and hot. On the way out they had put a victoria sponge out that looked heavenly. If you are in Oswestry go to the old coffee pot.

29A Princess StreetI was a very close friend of Lisa's. She said I was dark after I helped her clear her home of all darkness. I use to do healing with her and helped her on many levels. Be careful of her as she doesn't care she is fake. She pretends to be your friend and manipulates you. Do not trust her!!!! She worked for another place at holistic therapies in Birmingham and claimed they were dark!!!! I'm not the first or last!!!! BE CAREFUL OF LISA!!! I must warn you all as therapists are meant to be trustworthy, Lisa is far from it!!! PLEASE BE CAREFUL OF HER AND DO NOT ALLOW HER IN YOUR PERSONAL SPACE!!!
