The Nags Head in City of London, Westminster

We stopped here for a few beers with friends whilst in Covent Garden. It’s a nice traditional pub with plenty of seating inside and out. We ended up having quite a few beers and had a great night

Reservamos este pub para el almuerzo del domingo mientras visita Londres, ya que el menú se veía bien. Al llegar al bar nos dijeron que el restaurante estaba arriba, así que subimos. Al entrar en el restaurante fuimos recibidos por un miembro del personal muy amable y acogedor que nos mostró a nuestra mesa y poco después de que se tomaron nuestras bebidas y comida. No pasó mucho tiempo después de que nuestras comidas aparecieron wow que eran muy agradables y calientes y un gran tamaño de porción y súper sabroso. Por lo tanto pub vale la pena una visita si usted está buscando un lugar para ir a un lugar para comer gran relación calidad-precio

Ojalá no viviera tan lejos para poder ir aquí tantas veces como fuera posible. Fuimos a comer arriba y AARON nos mostró un asiento - él era fabuloso, tomó nuestros pedidos y entregó la comida a tiempo. La comida estaba caliente, yo tenía el Steak Pie que era uno de los mejores que he probado seguido de la Tartaleta de Frambuesa que era deliciosa boca! Los 4 disfrutamos de nuestras comidas y comimos cada poco El restaurante estaba muy limpio (al igual que los baños de señoras completos con arañas). El precio de la comida era excelente para la ubicación. Enorme saludo a Aaron y Adam que eran personas encantadoras y deberían enseñar a otros sobre hospitalidad porque son perfectos

Great traditional pub serving lovely food. Staff were helpful and friendly. Slightly spoiled with a group of middle aged women who were quite intoxicated with one of them vomiting in the restaurant.

Ordered the wagyu beef burger, outstanding. Great location, the ambience on the first floor was great. A must eat pub in Covent Garden.

I came here at 10 pm after the theater and had a very weird experience. They are supposed to be open until 11. I couldn't find any staff. There were guests eating but it seems as though all the workers went home. I hung around for 10 minutes and couldn't find one person that worked there. All I wanted was a quick meal. Avoid this place. It's trash!

We went today for lunch and drinks on the way to the Theatre. A little gem hidden upstairs is a wonderful dining room, great attentive staff , lovely food we both had Pie and chips. Will definitely go back on our next trip to London

Was a great place to catch up with an old friend. Not much choice of whiskeys but they did have dalwhinnie so can't complain too much. Service was great.

Nice place, big inside. Busy but easy to get in & out. Food was good, as was the counter service for ordering it & drinks. Worth going to. Price wise, much of a muchness around London. For me, it's just the exchange rate to the AUD🇦🇺 that stuffs me about. Not their or anyone's fault here in the UK. Just have to suck it up & enjoy the ride 🤟🏻😜...

We’re visiting from Australia and, after spending 4 hours exploring the incredible British Museum and wandering through Covent Garden Market, we were ready for a late lunch around 2pm. When we stepped into this authentic British pub, we were welcomed by a friendly atmosphere, though it was quite busy downstairs. Luckily, we found a cosy, quieter space upstairs that was thoughtfully decorated and had a quirky charm. Cameron greeted us warmly and was incredibly helpful when we couldn’t decide on drinks. After a long day of sightseeing, the Porn Star Martini was just what we needed. For lunch, we enjoyed classic British pub fare – I had the Cumberland Sausage & Mash, which was delicious, and my husband went for the Fish & Chips (the size of that fish!). Aaron was attentive and shared some great local tips. I highly recommend this traditional English pub for anyone visiting London. It offers great value, tasty food, a wide range of drinks, and friendly, attentive service. Thanks for a memorable experience!

Really delicious food. Good location. But what appeals to me the most is the atmosphere of this place. Very nicely decorated. This is one of those places where you want to hang out. I will undoubtedly visit there again on my next visit to London. It's really worth it.

What a wonderful location, with fine food. The dining room is on the 1st floor. The map is manageable, but very fine. We were able to add two favorite ingredients to my daughter's salad and the other dishes could also be served gluten-free. Gladly again!

By far the best pie while visiting London. The environment is what I will always recall as a quintessential London Pub. The attention received from Cameron defines service. Amazing recommendations, great conversation, and a vibrant smile. We learned about the typical English holiday while sharing pictures of our beautiful New Mexico. Thank you, Cameron.

Lovely experience. Food was nice and cheap and the lovely bar lady, I think her name was Jess, gave me an excellent suggestion, Rivertown!, never had it but will have it again.

Jessica was amazing and gave great service!! She was polite and friendly and very approachable. I was very impressed! I would recommend her to anybody coming to this pub. She was a pleasure to deal with!

Stopped for a drink, it had recently rained but wanted to sit outside. Asked for a cloth to wipe wet chairs but staff member was happy to come at do. Polite,chatty and quick service.

We were so lucky to find this quaint pub and restaurant on our last night in London. It's in the heart of Covent Garden. The "Pies" (Steak & Ale and Chicken, Ham & Leek) were delicious...some of the best we had in the U.K. Our server was Pavi and she took great care of us. Overall, a wonderful end to a wonderful trip!

Ate in the upstairs dining room on the last night of vacation in London. Pavi took amazing care of us, making great food and drink recommendations. I had the chicken, ham, and leek pie and it was a highlight of the trip. Can't wait for my next visit!

Great wee pub ,nice atmosphere, a bit pricy

Came here to rest our feet having been walking around Covent Garden, a traditional old English pub which hasn't changed its style for numerous years & good on them for that. It was saturday afternoon & warm so very busy with a number of people drinking out doors. We didn't eat here but we enjoyed the wide selection of drinks available to choose from. Staff were polite & friendly even though you could see how busy they were (always a bonus for any establishment). Well worth seeking out & stopping for a pint or two.

Always a great little place to stop at when going through Covent Garden. The lack of pretentiousness in an area surrounded by designer shops, is always refreshing. Staff are warm and welcoming. There is always a buzz of different people enjoying a selection of beers. The food doesn't disappoint, with a simple menu, reasonably priced but does not cut out quality, flavour and presentation. Always a joy to stop off when navigating the throngs of London.

I went to the Nag’s Head with my family after my graduation and it was such an enjoyable experience. The people who worked there were so accommodating and extremely kind. The decor is beautiful and it is in a fantastic location. Food was delicious and I will definitely be back!!

I spotted this pub in Covent Garden. As I was wearing an OFAH tea shirt, I thought that it would be a nice touch to have a glass of Guinness and a photograph of my little adventure. Although the bar staff were complimentary, they seem to be oblivious to what the teashirt represented once pointed out. I had to point it out because none of the three noticed it. It was a lovely day, which made the atmosphere a jolly one. I can not comment on the food as I did not eat inside the pub. However, I have to say that the searing for food was pretty much full when I passed through to use the loo.

Was expecting the bill to sting here but was pleasantly surprised. Had 2 meals and 2 drinks for around £35 and the food was lovely. Gorgeous little pub with lots of wooden beams and tiling and some good beers on. Would recommend.

On a visit to London I called in here just a bit too expensive for a pint and I even asked if Trig had been in no one has seen him.

Popped in for a refreshing pint to cool down and have a rest after wandering around Covent Garden in the sunshine. Found the staff friendly and the selection of beer was good. Didn’t eat but the food I saw brought out for other folk looked appetising. Would return.

I enjoyed my visit and the food despite the one moody staff member. She walked away from me talking over her shoulder as she answered my query, not good people skills. The other staff members seemed nice.

We visited on a hot Sunday afternoon. Me and my 7 year old son. The staff member in the restaurant could not do enough for us and we had a fantastic view of Covent Garden in the window seat. The food was excellent and we had a lovely first meal on our trip to London.

Went to meet a bunch of Scots friends who wanted to watch the football safe the Nags Head, although not a sports pub they were showing the match. Beer flowed, service wonderful and friendly. A very well kept pub.

We waited 25m, no one attended to us, we asked, they told us that they were already attending to us... and when we wanted to order, we went inside and they told us that they closed the kitchen. I don't recommend it at all. lousy attention

Leuke pub in drukke buurt, altijd plezierig! Beetje dringen aan de bar maar mits wat volhouden lukt het wel. Terras zit meestal stampvol maar binnen is het ook wel leuk.

Came in here for a drink and was expecting it to be your typical pub in a touristy area but was wrong. Great atmosphere, great Guinness and even better service from Ali - he does pour a mean pint.
