Lovely experience. Food was nice and cheap and the lovely bar lady, I think her name was Jess, gave me an excellent suggestion, Rivertown!, never had it but will have it again.

Stopped for a drink, it had recently rained but wanted to sit outside. Asked for a cloth to wipe wet chairs but staff member was happy to come at do. Polite,chatty and quick service.

We were so lucky to find this quaint pub and restaurant on our last night in London. It's in the heart of Covent Garden. The "Pies" (Steak & Ale and Chicken, Ham & Leek) were delicious...some of the best we had in the U.K. Our server was Pavi and she took great care of us. Overall, a wonderful end to a wonderful trip!

Ate in the upstairs dining room on the last night of vacation in London. Pavi took amazing care of us, making great food and drink recommendations. I had the chicken, ham, and leek pie and it was a highlight of the trip. Can't wait for my next visit!

Great wee pub ,nice atmosphere, a bit pricy

Came here to rest our feet having been walking around Covent Garden, a traditional old English pub which hasn't changed its style for numerous years & good on them for that. It was saturday afternoon & warm so very busy with a number of people drinking out doors. We didn't eat here but we enjoyed the wide selection of drinks available to choose from. Staff were polite & friendly even though you could see how busy they were (always a bonus for any establishment). Well worth seeking out & stopping for a pint or two.

Always a great little place to stop at when going through Covent Garden. The lack of pretentiousness in an area surrounded by designer shops, is always refreshing. Staff are warm and welcoming. There is always a buzz of different people enjoying a selection of beers. The food doesn't disappoint, with a simple menu, reasonably priced but does not cut out quality, flavour and presentation. Always a joy to stop off when navigating the throngs of London.

I went to the Nag’s Head with my family after my graduation and it was such an enjoyable experience. The people who worked there were so accommodating and extremely kind. The decor is beautiful and it is in a fantastic location. Food was delicious and I will definitely be back!!

I spotted this pub in Covent Garden. As I was wearing an OFAH tea shirt, I thought that it would be a nice touch to have a glass of Guinness and a photograph of my little adventure. Although the bar staff were complimentary, they seem to be oblivious to what the teashirt represented once pointed out. I had to point it out because none of the three noticed it. It was a lovely day, which made the atmosphere a jolly one. I can not comment on the food as I did not eat inside the pub. However, I have to say that the searing for food was pretty much full when I passed through to use the loo.

The hand pulled lamb (something) pie was amazing! My sister says it’s the best thing she’s ever tried in her life! The brownies was pretty good too

Great Pub in the heart of London.

Was expecting the bill to sting here but was pleasantly surprised. Had 2 meals and 2 drinks for around £35 and the food was lovely. Gorgeous little pub with lots of wooden beams and tiling and some good beers on. Would recommend.

On a visit to London I called in here just a bit too expensive for a pint and I even asked if Trig had been in no one has seen him.

Traditional pub on the main floor with a much more quiet dining area upstairs. Limited but very tasty menu.

Typical English pub furnished with style in the heart of Covent Garden. Good selection of beers, festive and relaxed atmosphere. Polite and friendly staff; as in many pubs in London, there is no table service.

I enjoyed my visit and the food despite the one moody staff member. She walked away from me talking over her shoulder as she answered my query, not good people skills. The other staff members seemed nice.

Popped in for a refreshing pint to cool down and have a rest after wandering around Covent Garden in the sunshine. Found the staff friendly and the selection of beer was good. Didn’t eat but the food I saw brought out for other folk looked appetising. Would return.

We visited on a hot Sunday afternoon. Me and my 7 year old son. The staff member in the restaurant could not do enough for us and we had a fantastic view of Covent Garden in the window seat. The food was excellent and we had a lovely first meal on our trip to London.

Went to meet a bunch of Scots friends who wanted to watch the football safe the Nags Head, although not a sports pub they were showing the match. Beer flowed, service wonderful and friendly. A very well kept pub.

We waited 25m, no one attended to us, we asked, they told us that they were already attending to us... and when we wanted to order, we went inside and they told us that they closed the kitchen. I don't recommend it at all. lousy attention

Leuke pub in drukke buurt, altijd plezierig! Beetje dringen aan de bar maar mits wat volhouden lukt het wel. Terras zit meestal stampvol maar binnen is het ook wel leuk.

Came in here for a drink and was expecting it to be your typical pub in a touristy area but was wrong. Great atmosphere, great Guinness and even better service from Ali - he does pour a mean pint.

We ate at Nags Head last night with our very large group of 16. Our server, Olivia, was excellent. She had a fun personality, was professional and got all of our orders correct. The food was very good, but our server made the experience extra special.

Great ambience in the dining room on the 1st floor. The fish & chips were the best we had in London. The cheese cake is also a poem. But the best thing was our waitress Maria. A real sunshine and in a great mood.

Food really without any flavor and difficult to eat, I took pies they were very dry with more dough than filling, the filling was not good. Industrial sauce. The only thing that was okay was the fries. Service to improve, one of the waitresses was friendly but I just wanted to ask another waiter for a glass of water, he told me to go get it myself at the bar! They charge in advance before being served. I wanted to order a 250ml glass of wine but the waitress served us a 175ml one, so I had to ask for a second one which was therefore charged extra! Really to avoid

Had the Sunday Roast. The beef was quite difficult to eat.,. And I was surprised they sell cans of filtered water instead of spring. WiFi doesn’t work at the back of the pub. But a good atmosphere to take friends.

Been here with my girlfriend and her family for a Quick dinner out of rush hours. The food menu Is various enough to allow vegetarian to have options and food was not bad . The price are right for the area and the Place upstairs Is cozy enough . That said i feel they could do with a wider and more interesting selectiob of beers and Spice up the food a Little with more interesting dishes . The room upstairs Is cozy but doesnt really feel warm If this make sense. Worth to mention the sit at the corner since he goes on a big round window and you can see the street underneath which Is quite cool. Overall a good traditional and non pretentious pub .

This was a fun find!! The staff was really friendly and great to interact with. The meat and ale pie was amazing (I didn't even get a pic) 😍 I'm a mushroom lover so I would have loved it even more with mushrooms.... But the cheesecake was absolutely divine 🤤 I should have skipped the appetizer just so I could eat more of that cheesecake (the pic is of the 2nd slice 🍰 when I stopped myself long enough)!!!

Went in here because of the name its the pub name from only fools and horses 😁,had been walking round convent gardens and was gasping for a pint which was really nice and well deserved, nice pub and was a hot day so it was good to be outside 😀

I suggest you book to dine upstairs as it is a lovely dining room. We had fish and chips and it was delicious, really large portions and well cooked.Cameron, the manager really made our experience special and took the time to chat to us and made us feel welcome. Well worth a visit and just opposite Covent Garden tube.

I signed up to The Nag's Head mailing list several years ago and each year around my birthday, I get an offer of a free bottle of prosecco if you order 2 main courses. I popped in at midday and asked if I could book a table for 1pm, using the offer. The person at the bar didn't know about the offer but she phoned her manager straight away to get advice. I was impressed by this, so would like to mention her name ,which is Tea. The manager Cameron came within 2 minutes to discuss this with me and advised me to take a screenshot of the qr code. We came back at 1pm and dined upstairs, which is a lovely spot. Beautifully decorated and slightly quieter than the main bar. We both had fish and chips and we were very impressed by the quality and generosity of the meal. The fish was succulent and the chips were crispy and delicious. We couldn't finish our meal as it was so large. The service was lovely and Cameron really made us feel valued. A great pub to visit and just opposite Covent Garden tube.

We arrived at lunch time with two young children. A freshly cleaned table was quickly found for us. The staff were very helpful and our food when it arrived was excellent. We would happily return.. lovely traditional pub with very good value food.

Great food and atmosphere, but there was almost no service. The waitresses seemed busy and so we had to clean our own table when we arrived.

Established on 1829, almost 200 years ago, this atmospheric spot is worth to have a drink 🍻 !

It gets the one star because it's a nice pub inside but the food wasn't nice at all or our server. The honey "roast" ham is served cold and the server came clean after saying we'd like it heated and explained it's pre bought and pre packaged ham. It was cold, slimey and gross and to charge 16 pounds is robbery for something you buy in. No mention of changing it for something else or a refund as my wife and daughter didn't eat it only the chips and some of the egg. So down 32 pounds for chips. I'm also pretty sure we were treated this way as they knew we were tourist's. Completely disappointing in our last eatery in London. Avoid.

Very rude service 2 of the four dinners were in-eadable. When spoke to the sever he told me that the honey roast hom was pre package and meant to be cold. The ham was slimy and left awful taste. Would not offer a change of dish.

An absolute must when you visit Covent Garden. The Staff are great and The food is fantastic 👍👍👍
