Great little pub, ordered a couple of drinks and very pleasantly surprised at the pricing unlike so many other establishments these days, food menu is simple but again very competitively priced, nice outside area if thev weather is being kind.

Usually a lovely place to visit but unfortunately on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon, whist here on a brief refreshment stop during our walk, this was not the case. Service was slow but not a real issue. My complaint is the foul language from the bartender/waitress in the outside seating area. The ‘F’ word was said loudly, several times and did not give a good impression of what is usually such a nice establishment.

Came here by chance whilst visiting the adjacent parks. Greeted by enthusiastic and pleasant barman who was polite, helpful and chatty. Excellent choice of beers - looked like plenty of other options too. Lunch ( we only had one course as my only ‘complaint’ was a very limited pudding option menu ) was incredibly good value but cooked well, tasty, of decent quality and served quickly. Don’t expect gourmet dining but that isn’t what is on offer - just good simple meals. Good pub, good experience, will return!

We popped into the Nags head today (Easter Sunday) for a few quick drinks with the family. We were immediately greeted by smiling staff who couldn’t be more helpful. The seating area outside was nice and chilled and dog friendly if you wanted to bring your pooch with you. The icing on the cake was the staff bringing Easter eggs out to our young kids who were absolutely over the moon! My nephew has a dairy allergy so the staff then reappeared with a lolly as an alternative. We were really impressed! Customer service was top notch as was the atmosphere. We will return again. Nice one guys!

We had such a wonderful experience at this lovely pub. Had never visited before but the super friendly staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The food was delicious. We enjoyed a homemade cottage pie which was to die for. The ham egg and chips were the best we’ve ever had. The staff were great with the kids and so helpful with our elderly relatives. A perfect afternoon. Will definitely be back soon!

They clearly don't like children at this establishment. Booked a table for 4 and asked for a quiet spot, my son is Autistic. We were asked by staff if we could try to keep my son from being noisy, they'd had complaints. Seriously?!. I requested to speak to the manager, who was apparently too busy. They were made aware of our requirements at the time of booking. Sheer ignorance and discrimination. We waited far to long for our food and my son gets irritable. When it came it was cold and missing requested (honoured) mild changes to his dinner. I do not recommend this establishment. Upsetting and negative experience all round.

Yuck. Maybe keeping so many real ales on tap is not a good idea if you don't sell the volume to keep it in proper condition and regularly get through the barrels. One I had was obviously sat in the pipes (or barrel) for ages. They need to teach their staff to pull through ale before serving. It's not difficult. Also maybe ask customer if it's alright when it's the first pint of the shift. Radical idea I know. No wonder British pubs are closing on a regular basis - doubt this one will be around for much longer.

This is a beautiful quaint pub dating back to the 15th century. Previously a spirit group/punch taverns now owned by Greene King. Mick the landlord has been here for eons. Lovely traditional English pub which has recently been renovated by said newer pub company. Dawn who again has been here since I remember is a great asset to this place. Tad quieter tonight so service was speedy. Please bear in mind this is a traditional pub and not very large and because it's in the beautiful village of Great Linford it's a local pub so can get very busy. Anyway on to the food ordered one special and one from the lunchtime menu and even though the lunchtime menu had finished they served our requirements. Food was served speedily was served hot and was tasty. Footnote the real ale as always here is kept perfectly and properly

Jaja.

We’ve been coming to Tiny Tim’s for years, though it had been a while since our last visit. Unfortunately, things have changed. The place feels run-down and we were the only customers in the cafe. We even saw two families leave after being told of the limited menu options. The lights are hanging off the ceilings, full of cobwebs & dust. The walls are scuffed & chipped, the floor is peeling up & the toilets are out of use. The young waitress greeted us warmly but informed us that there were no breakfast items or hot sandwiches available. We decided on a burger and two jacket potatoes instead. However, she quickly let us know there were no burgers, either. When we asked what was available, she replied with only cold sandwiches or jacket potatoes. We went with three jacket potatoes. After a 25-minute wait, the first two arrived (with cheese and beans), both clearly microwaved and one was still frozen in the middle, so we sent it back. Ten minutes later, the third jacket (with curry) arrived, overcooked to the point the potato was gray and the canned chicken curry had an odd pinkish-gray colour. We tried to eat what we could from the two potatoes while waiting for the returned one. During our wait, an older gentleman entered, announcing, “I have the shopping,” and was quickly directed downstairs—likely with the missing jacket potato. Shortly after, the waitress went to the shop and reappeared with three cans of beans. Fifteen minutes later, my wife finally got her jacket potato. The young cook explained she was the only one working in the kitchen, though we were the only ones in the cafe, so it seemed a single microwave was causing the delays. By then, we just wanted to leave and barely touched the final jacket potato, still put off by the previous frozen one. The bill came to £42, which was absolutely not worth it. If I hadn’t already paid, I certainly wouldn’t have paid after the food we received. The two young girls left to hold the fort tried their best, however it seems they need further support in order to deliver quality food and a quality service. Unfortunately this was not the case and management needs to support them better.
